Julio has been covering the tragedy in Nashville, Tennessee. Six people, three children, and three adult staffers, were shot and killed at the Covenant School, a private Christian learning institution. Anti-gun activists hijacked a press conference on the incident earlier today. The Biden White House will probably push the usual talking points about banning so-called assault weapons, which will be echoed by their allies on the gun control issue. Unlike the shootings at Michigan State University and East High School in Denver, Colorado, this perpetrator had a handgun and two AR-15-style rifles. You can already hear the anti-gun Left licking their lips—now they had a chance to score some points. Except they can’t, Audrey Hale was identified as the shooter, and this person was transgender. Hale was shot and killed by police during the assault. 

Once again, American politicians are pushing for new escalations in the Ukrainian conflict. Now, lawmakers want the Biden regime to supply cluster munitions to the Ukrainian armed forces. This type of measure would be seen as a serious provocation by Russia and would certainly have strong impacts on the battlefield and in the current diplomatic crisis.

Recently, some Republican senators formally asked the government to “not hesitate” to send cluster arms to Ukraine. James Risch and Roger Wickers, both from Mississippi, led the Congress campaign, and were also supported by Michael McCaul, from Texas, and Mike Rogers, from Alabama. According to them, Washington should ship such bombs as quickly as possible to Kiev, ignoring what they think to be “vague concerns about the reaction of allies and partners and unfounded fears of ‘escalation'”.

The pressure comes amid a context of “despair” on the part of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev and the more pro-war groups of American domestic politics. Faced with the Ukrainian military failure and the imminent Russian victory, despite the systematic sending of weapons by NATO, the only solution seems to be to resort to the use of “non-conventional” arms. In this sense, the use of cluster bombs would be one of the “alternatives”, which is why Ukrainian politicians have asked US congressmen to increase the pressure for the government to allow the export of such equipment.

Covenant School, the Christian school where an attacker killed three students Monday, did not have armed resource officers on campus when the attack occurred, Fox News reporter John Roberts noted during live coverage of the shooting at the Nashville area Covenant School.

Nashville police spokesperson Don Aaron indicated the attacker was a young woman, who appeared “to be in her teens,” armed with multiple firearms.

Roberts said, “There was no school resource officer present at the school.  It’s a private school, it doesn’t employ anybody from the Nashville police department to look after the school.”

Breitbart News reported that there were no armed resource officers at Denver’s East High School when a 17-year-old student shot two staff members on Wednesday.

Denver Public Schools superintendent Alex Marrero responded by announcing two armed resource officers would be placed on campus.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Children’s Health Defense (CHD) on Friday filed a class action lawsuit against President Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top administration officials and federal agencies, alleging they “waged a systematic, concerted campaign” to compel the nation’s three largest social media companies to censor constitutionally protected speech.

Kennedy, CHD and Connie Sampognaro filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Monroe Division, on behalf of all the more than 80% of Americans who access news from online news aggregators and social media companies, principally Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear was excoriated by his Republican challengers over the weekend for choosing to veto a bill that would ban gender transition surgeries for minors, prohibit school discussions on sexual orientation and gender identity, and prevent teachers from being forced to use a student's preferred pronouns.

The bill, SB 150, was passed by state lawmakers along party lines earlier this month before heading to Beshear's desk last week.

"As a mother and grandmother, I think the fact that we’re even having this conversation is insanity," Republican candidate and former U.N. Ambassador Kelly Craft said in a statement. "This movement across the nation to impose radical gender ideology on our kids instead of improving reading, writing, and math skills, is wrong."

The British government plans to move asylum seekers from hotels to military bases or disused ferries under plans that could be announced as early as next week, a report has revealed.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is expected to announce the “beginning of the end” of asylum hotels, which are currently being used to house asylum seekers as part of the government's legal obligation to provide people seeking help with a basic level of accommodation, the Telegraph newspaper reported on Sunday.

More than 50,000 migrants are currently housed at a cost of nearly £7 million a day in the hotels, the report said. 

Under the new proposal, migrants will initially be moved into “decent but rudimentary” accommodation in former military bases which will be used to house single, adult male migrants.

The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has censured the forcible removal of Muslim worshipers from the al-Aqsa Mosque compound during the holy month of Ramadan, saying that the move amounts to declaration of a religious war against Palestinians and is an attempt to change the sacred site’s Islamic identity.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a statement on Monday that 50,000 Palestinian worshipers had performed Tarawih prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque despite restrictions imposed on their entry to the mosque.

An Israeli protest leader has vowed that demonstrations will continue across the occupied territories after prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that a controversial plan to overhaul the regime’s judiciary will be delayed until next month.

“As long as the legislation continues and is not shelved, we will be on the streets,” Shikma Bressler, one of the main leaders of the protest movement, said after Netanyahu made the announcement in a televised address on Monday.

Bressler said Netanyahu and his coalition colleagues are clearly determined to press ahead with their “dictatorship laws” in the next Knesset session, which is slated to be held a month from now.

The Federal Reserve’s zero-rate policy ranks among the most significant economic policy errors in nearly half a century. After more than a decade of negative real interest rates, the Fed doubled down. In August 2020 at its Jackson Hole, Wyo., conference, the Fed announced a new policy framework to address what it saw as its biggest problem: Inflation was too low at 1.7%. Zero rates and massive Fed purchases of Treasurys and mortgages would be the cornerstone of the new regime.

The government will approve at its next meeting on Sunday a decision to subjugate Israel's National Guard to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, in exchange for Ben-Gvir's party, Otzma Yehudit, promising not to leave the government over Netanyahu's intention to postpone the legislation of the first judicial reform bill.

The National Guard is currently a unit within the Border Police, and was formed during the previous government's tenure in the wake of the rioting during Operation Guardian of the Walls. Its purpose is to provide security in similar situations in the future. It numbers approximately 900 regular fighters, and thousands more reservists and volunteers.

The protests in Israel are likely to continue after the suspension of judicial reform, Viktor Smirnov, the head of the Israel and Jewish Communities Department at the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Oriental Studies, told TASS on Monday.

"The duration and mass nature of protests and demonstrations, the growing mutual accusations in relations between the government and the opposition, the emergence of disagreements in the ruling coalition that was recently formed by [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu following the parliamentary elections in November last year - all this makes us talk about the seriousness of the unfolding situation. And, apparently, calm will not settle down even after the prime minister decided to stop the advancement of the judicial reform," he said.

 The organizers of the second Summit for Democracy, which is set to take place virtually under US auspices later this week, are inciting participants to include anti-Russian language in the event’s concluding statement, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said in an interview with the Newsweek magazine that was published on Monday.

The "organizers of the second 'Summit' are vigorously inciting others to include odious anti-Russian language in the draft of the joint final declaration," the diplomat said.

"Draft texts for the upcoming meetings give the feeling that this year Washington has set a goal of shaping a human rights coalition against Russia and dragging partners into anti-Russian traps under the cover of a noble idea of developing democracy," Antonov said. "It is obvious that subsequently the drafted statement will be manifested as a common international position condemning my country for upholding national sovereignty and defending democratic freedoms of the Russian people in the east of Europe."

The Ukrainian military has received 18 Leopard 2 main battle tanks from Germany, Der Spiegel reported on Monday. Kiev has already taken delivery of Leopards from Poland, but Western analysts say it will need several times more that amount in order to make an impact on the battlefield.

The tanks left Germany last week and were handed over at an undisclosed location along Ukraine’s border, the magazine reported, citing anonymous sources. While the exact location of the handover was not made clear, most Western-supplied weapons to date have entered Ukraine via Poland.

The United Nation's human rights watchdog has voiced alarm over the Zelensky government's targeting of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in a report published on Friday. The UOC, which still maintains communion with the Russian Orthodox Church, has seen its priests and monks expelled from some churches and monasteries of late, after the Ukrainian government has sought to bolster a rival nationalist church, also through controversial legislation.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said in the new report that it is "concerned that the State’s activities targeting the UOC could be discriminatory." The UN report pointed to "vague legal terminology and the absence of sufficient justification" in proposed anti-UOC legislation being pushed forward by the Zelensky administration.

Despite the fact that initially Poland intended to transfer 28 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, and later, due to the lack of coordination of such actions with Germany, announced the transfer of only 20 combat aircraft to Ukraine, this morning it became known that the supply of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine and completely canceled.

What exactly caused such a decision is still unknown, however, in all likelihood, the reason was the disagreement on compensation to Warsaw for such supplies from NATO.

Considering the current situation, Ukraine will be able to receive combat aircraft only from Slovakia, however, even in this case, we are talking about 13 fighters, which creates a rather serious threat, since these aircraft have already been converted to use Western-made missiles, as previously reported by the Slovak media.

For literally decades, people scoffed-at "conspiracy theorists" talk about the US Dollar collapsing.  They laughed at "the tin foil hat crowd" when it screamed from the rooftops that rampant over-spending would kill our currency.  The responses to the conspiracy theorists and tin-foil-hat-crowd was simple: "The dollar is the world's reserve currency; the world can't do without it."  Turns out, the responses were wrong.

Within the past 24 hours, far left-wing CNN and far right-wing FOX NEWS have both begun airing stories about "De-Dollarization."   For both the far-left and the far-right main-stream-media to be airing such stories is no coincidence.  That the MSM is now airing this means the powers-that-be in the US know - as a matter of absolute fact - the world __is__ turning its back on the Dollar, and that means trouble is coming to the US.  Trouble on a scale that literally NONE of us has seen in our lifetimes.

Russian fighters destroyed another stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front lines in the area of Avdeevka. The trenches of the Ukrainian Army became a mass grave for fighters from Poland and Georgia.

Russia's diplomatic links to Europe continue to collapse at a moment nuclear rhetoric is increasing and growing more dangerous. Simple communication among governments also continues to grow worse, making conflict de-escalation among major powers all the more difficult.

Germany announced Saturday that it is planning to expel more than 30 Russian diplomats from Berlin. German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock indicated to local media plans for the new wave of expulsions Saturday.

Humza Yousaf, a left-separatist who has pioneered anti-free speech legislation and lobbied for fewer white people in high office, will be sworn in as the leader of  Scotland on Wednesday.

Yousaf has succeeded Nicola Sturgeon as leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP), which leads Scotland’s devolved government — roughly equivalent to a U.S. State government — in coalition with the even further left Scottish Greens.
