The White House cleaned up President Joe Biden's threat to stop sending weapons to Israel, saying the shipments are continuing.

'Everybody keeps talking about pausing weapons shipments. Weapons shipments are still going to Israel. And they're still getting the vast, vast majority of everything that they need to defend themselves,' National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters on Thursday.

Biden told CNN on Wednesday that he would pause more arms shipments to Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launches a full-scale invasion of Rafah.

Israelis reacted with fury and ceasefire negotiations have stalled. Netanyahu didn't respond directly to Biden's comment, but he posted a video on social media of a defiant speech he delivered this week in which he said 'no amount of pressure' will 'stop Israel from defending itself.'

There is a hidden feature in users' Google accounts that lets the tech giant quietly record their voices that it stores for other uses.

Google saves the audio recordings from web and app activity, along with verbal interactions with Search, Assistant and Maps, which it uses 'to develop and improve its audio recognition technologies.'

However, A tech expert recently shared a 'cheat code' that he claimed will stop Google from recording your smartphone activity.

Users need to manage their Google account and unselect options in 'Data and Privacy,' which a digital expert has claimed will block the tech company from accessing your microphone and camera.

During a Cinco de Mayo event hosted at the White House, President Joe Biden unveiled plans to extend taxpayer-funded healthcare access to illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Biden also described DACA recipients, also known as “DREAMers,” as “model citizens” who “deserve” taxpayer-funded healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or Obamacare.

Biden reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients, emphasizing the narrative that these illegal aliens deserve for taxpayers to fund their healthcare and deserve citizenship.

“DREAMers can now get health insurance, as they deserve,” he said.

Pro-Palestine student protesters disrupted a talk by a US tech billionaire at Cambridge university over accusations he is profiting from a genocide in Gaza.

Peter Thiel, the founder of US software company Palantir, was delivering a talk to students at the Cambridge Union on Wednesday evening when a pair of activists stood up and accused him of profiting off genocide through the defence contracts his firm has with Israel

The duo, brandashing a Palestinian flag, were quickly removed from the event by security guards, but were supported by around 200 further protestors outside the event trying the 'drown out' Mr Thiel's talk.

Pro-Palestinian campaign group, Youth Demand claimed responsibility for the disruption, stating that Mr Thiel was 'assisting Israel in bombing hospitals'.

Former President Donald Trump's legal team has filed a "major motion" with a New York appellate court, challenging the constitutionality of a gag order imposed on him in his ongoing criminal "hush money" trial.

Key Details:

  • Trump's defense team is seeking an expedited ruling from an intermediate appeals court or permission to appeal directly to the state's highest court, the Court of Appeals.
  • The gag order, imposed by Judge Juan Merchan, prohibits Trump from making statements about witnesses, jurors, attorneys, and others associated with the "hush money" case. The order however, has not been extended to witnesses in the case, like Michael Cohen, who pled guilty to lying to Congress, yet has been portrayed as D.A. Alvin Bragg's "star witness" in the case while attacking former President Trump on cash-grab TikTok livestreams.
  • Speaking on the motion outside of the courthouse Thursday morning, Trump said: "We've just filed a major motion in the appellate division concerning the absolutely unconstitutional gag order, where I am essentially not allowed to talk to you about anything meaningful that's going on in the case—and many good things are going on with the case—it shouldn't have been filed."

Trump’s attorneys filed a motion for mistrial on Thursday after Stormy Daniels took the witness stand.

Stormy Daniels took the witness stand again Thursday in Alvin Bragg’s lawfare ‘hush money’ trial against Trump in New York City.

Trump was accused of paying porn star Stormy Daniels, AKA, Stephanie Clifford, ‘hush payments’ through his then-attorney Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer.

The payments made to Stormy Daniels did NOT come from Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The payments were made through internal business records – there was no tax deduction taken and there was no obligation to file it with the FEC, according to Trump attorney Joe Tacopina.

Bragg alleged Trump committed fraud because the payment was labeled “legal fees.”

UC Davis nearly doubles strategic communications budget following string of negative incidences against the university’s image

According to documents obtained by the Sacramento Bee, UC Davis spent at least $175,000 trying to repair its image following an incident in Nov. 2011 in which a campus police officer pepper-sprayed student protesters on the Quad.

The aggressive public relations campaign sought to rehabilitate the university’s public image through primarily erasing mentions of the pepper-spray incident and Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi on online search engines, according to the documents.

The documents revealed that in Jan. 2013, UC Davis signed a deal with Nevins & Associates, a Maryland-based public relations firm, for a six-month long contract. The contract, which paid Nevins $15,000 a month, was signed with the objective “to expedite the eradication of references to the pepper spray incident in search results on Google for the university and the Chancellor.”

Stormy Daniels, the pornographic film actress at the center of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s prosecution against former President Donald Trump, is emblematic of the stereotypes attached to her industry. A lengthy biographical sketch published in New York Magazine‘s Intelligencer reveals a woman motivated by a need for constant attention, greed, petty vindictiveness, and — by her own admission — mental illness.

In her own words, Daniels contradicts her recollection of events surrounding her alleged affair with former President Trump. She plays up fictitious threats and carefully assumes the role of someone who faced grave injustice — despite no crime ever being committed against her. The National Pulse has pulled some of the more relevant passages that shed important light on the motivations and dubious credibility of Stormy Daniels.

“I’M SIGNIFICANTLY MORE CRAZY.”

In a 2023 interview, shortly after former President Trump was charged with falsifying business records to cover up alleged “hush money” payments to Daniels just days before the 2016 election, the porn actress acknowledged that her mental health had declined. “I’m significantly more crazy now than I was before,” Daniels said.

The adult film industry has been accused of routinely taking advantage of women with untreated mental health issues. A 2011 psychiatric study comparing women in the porn industry with the average woman in California found a stark deviation in mental health. One-third of respondents in the adult film industry met the criteria for a depression diagnosis. Just 13 percent of women in California met the same criteria overall. Additionally, women in the porn industry were by and large more likely to have experienced poverty, sexual abuse, and other forms of violence than the average woman in California.
