Former President Donald Trump’s defense on Thursday seemingly worked to paint the picture that porn actress Stormy Daniels attempted to financially benefit from his wealth and fame, according to reports.

Daily Caller courts reporter Katelynn Richardson noted that during the defense’s cross-examination of the porn star, who nearly blew the trial for the prosecution on Tuesday, Trump attorney Susan Necheles was “pushing to show Daniels was motivated by money when she entered into her 2016 NDA [non-disclosure agreement].”

A MoveOn petition pushing for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate the deaths of former Boeing employees Joshua Dean and John Barnett has surpassed 25,000 signatures as of Thursday afternoon.

“The dangerous trend of Boeing aircraft accidents is extremely alarming, and it's time the Department of Justice investigate these tragic whistleblower deaths and the mounting allegations from employees that Boeing has sought to silence those that spoke out over safety concerns,” said MoveOn spokesperson Britt Jacovich.

Dean, 45, was a former quality auditor at Spirit AeroSystems from Wichita, Kan. and reportedly died from a staph infection called Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. He had raised safety concerns with the Boeing 737 Max plane.

Stormy Daniels can’t seem to keep her mouth SHUT outside of this case — and continues to discredit herself more and more as the days go on in regards to her reliability. It even got to the point where she was reciting scripted jokes in the trial — unfortunately, she was met with a tough crowd, to say the least. How will this affect the Trump trial, and Stormy’s future?

Retail businesses racing toward biometric payments to increase speed and security

New deployments, technologies and markets are driving the implementation of biometric payments systems for in-store and online purchases. Formula 1 racing’s Miami Grand Prix is expanding biometric payments for fans. Qualcomm is launching a new palm payment terminal with Telpo. And a patented palm biometrics system developed in the UAE by Astra Tech conjures images of sorcery with its contactless palm recognition tech.

J.P. Morgan Payments to deploy palm biometrics for F1 Miami

Formula 1 racing is the latest sport to embrace biometric payments on what looks like a long-term basis. A release from the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2024 says the event is expanding its relationship with J.P. Morgan Payments to enable customers to buy merchandise at retail outlets using palm biometrics or facial recognition.

The biometric payments system will be deployed both in stores on the Miami International Autodrome campus and for online purchases. South Florida Motorsports (SFM), which organizes the Grand Prix, says the intention is to improve the retail experience for fans by reducing friction and time needed to make purchases. In a 2023 pilot that led to the expanded deployment – the first use of biometric payments at an F1 event – one hundred percent of transactions were authenticated and processed, each in under a second.

J.P. Morgan Payments’ system leverages a familiar one-time mobile biometric enrolment process in which users can register their palm or facial scan, which is then matched at point of purchase, either at an on-site shop or via a newly launched e-commerce retail store. Takis Georgakopoulos, global head of J.P. Morgan Payments, says the company’s biometric tools will “demonstrate how a modern, unified payments system can help businesses grow by reimagining their entire retail experience.”

Part of that reimagining involves making better use of data. The expanded relationship also gives SFM access to J.P. Morgan Payments’ Commerce Center, which allows the company to configure payment settings, search transaction history and access customer purchase data. In other words, it brings aspects of fintech into a trusted banking ecosystem, allowing merchants to tailor experiences based on insights and trends.

Tyler Epp, president of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, says the biometrics payment system is in tune with the sport’s commitment to cutting-edge technology. “The expansion of biometric-based payments within our retail stores at the Miami International Autodrome is a great example of the innovative technology that the sport of Formula 1 is renowned for, which we want to be reflected across our campus.”

New palm payments terminal houses Qualcomm chip in Telpo hardware

Biometric payment options for retail purchases continues to be an area of interest for big names across the tech sector. A release says Qualcomm has partnered with Chinese smart terminal provider Telpo to launch a new palm payment device, the Telpo P105. The terminal’s biometric processing capabilities are powered by the Qualcomm QCM6125 system on a chip (SOC). Its hardware includes a 5.5-inch multi-touch display, RGB+IR dual-camera lenses, palm liveness detection, fill light, and a range of interfaces.

Telpo says the biometric payment machines will simplify payment processes to reduce transaction times, leading to shorter lines and a more streamlined shopping experience. Cost, of course, is also a factor, and Telpo says the P105’s interface requires minimal training and can replace human workers to reduce labor expenses.

Astra Tech brings some abracadabra to Palm Pay service

The United Arab Emirates is also getting its first contactless palm recognition service, in a patented technology from PayBy, a fintech subsidiary of the major consumer technology holding group Astra Tech. A press release includes standard-issue digital ID promises of increased efficiency and security in payments. What makes the contactless biometric system unique is the magic of its scanning mechanism, which enables customers to “effortlessly hover their palm over a device to make payments.” Designed for easy integration into existing POS systems, the service promises biometric palm authentication that is 1300 times more secure than facial recognition methods.

“The UAE is now home to a first-of-its-kind technology that simplifies and secures how our customers interact with the world around them,” says Astra Tech’s founder, Abdallah Abu Sheikh, in comments from the recent Dubai Fintech Summit. “Palm Pay exemplifies our drive to bring revolutionary technologies to the region and as the sole provider of this technology, we are proud to set new standards in the fintech sector and contribute to the UAE’s reputation as a global technology hub.

Gina Carano brought the receipts and destroyed former CNN host Chris Cuomo who shamed her and others during COVID for questioning what the media was telling Americans about the vaccines and Ivermectin.

In a lengthy post on X, The Daily Wire star reacted to a clip from the recent PBD podcast of Cuomo talking about how he’s now “taking a regular dose of Ivermectin” to stave off the effects of “Long COVID,” something he had said people needed to be “called out and shamed” for during the pandemic.

Cuomo told the host Ivermectin was the “boogeyman” during COVID – which he conceded “was wrong.” He claimed they had just been “given bad information.” He also said Joe Rogan had gotten it right and “they were wrong to play scared on that” — but he did so without acknowledging that he was one of the people who had bullied others about it.

It’s always interesting to notice what kind of data the government tracks, and what kind of data gets completely ignored.

Every couple of years, for example, we get something called a “National Climate Assessment.” If the sea level rises by a millimeter off the Oregon coast, you’ll know about it. We also receive regular government reports on the number of women who decide to take STEM classes and the popularity of nonbinary and pansexual gender identities in places like Honduras.

What we haven’t received, for two decades, is a comprehensive update from the government on the number of children who are sexually abused in public schools. It was all the way back in 2004 that the Department of Education released a report finding that, between kindergarten and 12th grade, 9.6% of students nationwide were subjected to sexual misconduct by a school employee. That’s one in ten students, totaling more than 5 million child victims in the system at any given time. Teachers, coaches, and bus drivers were the most common offenders.

Those living nearby described a sound like 'a bomb going off' just after 6am.

Footage posted on social media shows a ginormous plume of black smoke interspersed with flames spewing into the sky.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene of the inferno this morning and told nearby residents to shut their windows, with businesses ordered to evacuate.

A recent piece in the New York Times connects us to a name which played a serious role in the last century of Ukrainian 'nationalism'.

The history of the western Ukrainian region is, like in some other European areas, a quite convoluted drama that still plays out today.

The first reports of war fatigue in the 'nationalist' western Ukraine are coming in. Natalia Yermak, a Ukrainian cartoon producer turned New York Times journalist, reports from the Galician area near Lviv:

In Western Ukraine, a Community Wrestles With Patriotism or Survival (archived) - New York Times
As the war drags on, communities that were steadfast in their commitment to the war effort have been shaken by the unending violence on the front line.

It was sunset when Maj. Kyrylo Vyshyvany of the Ukrainian army stepped into the yard of his childhood home in Duliby, a village in western Ukraine, just after his younger brother, also a soldier, had been buried. Their mother was still crying in the living room.

“I can already see that she’ll be coming to visit him every day,” he said that day. He was right, but he would not be by her side. A few days after the funeral, in March 2022, he was killed in a Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian military base and buried next to his brother, Vasyl.

The Vyshyvany brothers were the first deaths from Duliby and the surrounding community after Russia began its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, 2022. Since then, 44 more Ukrainian soldiers from the area have been killed — more than four times the local death toll from the previous eight years of fighting Russian-backed separatists in the east.

For Duliby and its surrounding enclave of Khodoriv — total population around 24,000 people — waiting for the next solemn death notification and the funeral that follows has become a bitter routine. But even as the town meets and buries the fallen with modest ceremony, some neighbors are quietly weighing the price they are willing to pay for a war with no end in sight.

Divisions have started to form between residents agnostic about the war — often those whose family members have dodged the draft or fled the country — and those who have loved ones on the front line or who fully support the war effort.

The name Vyshyvany looked quite familiar to me. I'll come back to it

Now back to the Vyshyvany family name which was the first mentioned in the above piece. I had stumbled over it a while ago.

If one searches for that name it brings up the Wikipedia page of the Archduke Wilhelm Franz of Austria who was born in 1895. Wilhelm's  rather complicate history and Ukrainian fascist-'nationalism' are deeply interwoven:

Archduke Wilhelm Franz of Austria, later Wilhelm Franz von Habsburg-Lothringen (10 February 1895–18 August 1948), also known as Vasyl Vyshyvanyi (Ukrainian: Василь Вишиваний), was an Austrian archduke, a colonel of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, a poet, and a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.
...
Wilhelm was raised in his parental estate located in the Austrian city of Saybusch, Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria. His father was a patriot of Poland [..]. Accommodating the 19th-century rise of nationalism, he decided that his branch of the Habsburg family would adopt a Polish identity and would combine a loyalty to their Habsburg family with a loyalty to Poland. Accordingly, he had his children learn Polish from an early age and tried to instill in them a sense of Polish patriotism.
...
Wilhelm, the youngest child, rebelled, and came to identify with the Poles' rivals, the Ukrainians. ... [H]e developed a fascination with Ukrainian culture that he kept for the rest of his life.

The family eventual accepted his Ukrainian tendencies and groomed Wilhelm to become a ruler of Galicia, then part of Austria-Hungary and today of western Ukraine.

During the first world war Wilhelm became a Ukrainian 'nationalist':

The most acceptable course to solve the "Ukrainian issue", for Wilhelm, was the creation of an autonomous Grand Duchy of Ukraine with federalist principles, within the Habsburg monarchy. That duchy, beside the Eastern Galicia and Bukovina provinces, could include as well Ukrainian lands that at that time belonged to the Russian Empire and which had to be reconquered.

Supported by the German-Empire and Austria-Hungary William fought as commander of Ukrainian draftees against the Bolsheviks.

When the world war ended William was hospitalized. Ukraine, the name translates to 'border land', again experienced the fate that comes with such an estate:

As he lay in the hospital, World War I ended, Austria-Hungary fell apart, and the Habsburgs lost their throne. In Eastern Galicia the West Ukrainian National Republic was proclaimed, while the Ukrainians of Bukovina tried, unsuccessfully, to unite their land with the new Ukrainian republic. The Bukovina was occupied by hostile Romanian forces, causing Wilhelm to flee to Lviv to avoid arrest. As Lviv was occupied now by Polish forces, Wilhelm again was forced to leave, moving to the Carpathian region where he was hiding in local monasteries for almost half a year. Meanwhile, while Germany was withdrawing its troops from Ukraine, the regime of Skoropadskyi in Ukraine was overthrown by republican forces of "Directorate", led by Volodymyr Vynnychenko and Symon Petliura, and interest in seeing Wilhelm as sovereign of Ukraine faded.

Now back to the Vyshyvany family name which was the first mentioned in the above piece. I had stumbled over it a while ago.

During that era other nation's rivalries affected the region - as they had done before for many centuries and as they still do today.

Between the world wars Wilhelm was mostly in Vienna but continued his Ukrainian 'nationalist' activities:

In circles of Ukrainian political emigrants, a hope was burning that the loss was not yet final and the Soviet regime could still be overthrown. In Vienna, Wilhelm became involved with pro Ukrainian monarchists who saw in him an opportunity, but nothing came out of it.
...
In Paris Vyshavanyi renewed his communications with Ukrainians when members of the newly formed Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) found him. He twice met with head of OUN Yevhen Konovalets. Through Wilhelm, nationalists tried to find new sources of financing.

Wilhelm supported the German Nazis who, with the avid support of the Ukrainian OUN militia, killed many Poles and Jews after invading the Soviet Ukraine. When the Nazis turned against the OUN Wilhelm stayed with the Ukrainian 'nationalists':

Soon however, Wilhelm realized that the Hitlerites would not allow for creation of independent Ukraine even as a puppet state similar to Slovakia. After he and his brother Karl Albrecht were arrested and interrogated by Gestapo, Wilhelm changed his political views and soon joined the local anti-Nazi resistance in Vienna.

When the second world war came to an end Wilhelm was engaged by the British(?) and French secret services to instigate a Ukrainian nationalist terror campaign against the Soviet forces in Ukraine:

At some point Maas introduced Wilhelm to his colleague Jack Brier who in his turn in 1946 introduced Wilhelm to French military officer Jean Pélissier. The latter had been tasked by the French authorities to revive contacts with Ukrainian nationalists who continued to fight the Soviet regime.

The 'western' allies, especially the U.S. between 1948 and 1952, spent a lot of effort and money to instigate an insurgency in Galicia against the Soviet forces.

Wilhelm was eventually caught by the Soviets. In 1948 he died in of tuberculosis a prison hospital

One wonders what else but the name connects the Vyshyvany family in the recent NYT piece with the Austrian aristocrat turned Ukrainian 'nationalist'.

In the early 1950s, after the Soviets had launched a serious counter insurgency campaign, the post WWII fascist OUN insurgency in Ukraine eventually petered out.

In 2014 the U.S. revived it.

This sure seems very extreme.

The reason students are hiding their identities in the first place is that the Jews are using facial recognition software and making blacklists, telling students they will never be able to get a job in any Jewish-controlled industry (which is effectively all industries in America).

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is at odds with state officials and the dairy industry over its on-the-ground response to the avian flu outbreak spreading among dairy cows, complicating President Joe Biden’s efforts to track and contain a virus that has the potential to sicken millions of people.

Many farmers don’t want federal health officials on their property. State agriculture officials worry the federal response is sidelining animal health experts at the Agriculture Department, and also that some potential federal interventions threaten to hinder state and local health officials rushing to respond to the outbreaks.

‘It’s overreach. They don’t need to do that. They need to back off,’ Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, a former rodeo cowboy who is a possible pick to lead the USDA if former President Donald Trump wins the presidential election, said in an interview.”

By “track and contain” bird flu, of course, the postmodern Brandon regime means “bankrolling illicit gain-of-function research on bird flu in a dingy CCP lab to make it more pathogenic to humans so we can roll out Pandemic 2.0” — coincidentally, perhaps, in time for the 2024 election and a mail-in voting bonanza to Stop the Spread™.

RelatedCongress Demands Oversight of US-Funded Bird Flu Gain-of-Function Research in CCP Lab

Via White Coat Waste Project (emphasis added):

“In February, a White Coat Waste Project (WCW) investigation exposed how the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has wasted at least $1 million of taxpayers’ money on an ongoing collaboration with the Chinese Communist Party-controlled Chinese Academy of Sciences (the Wuhan animal lab’s parent organization) and a Wuhan lab white coat on dangerous bird flu gain-of-function experiments.”

Continuing via Politico:

Texas, the first state where the bird flu virus was detected, has not invited the CDC to conduct epidemiological field studies there, even though its health department is open to the research, because, ‘We haven’t found a dairy farm that is interested in participating,’ said Lara Anton, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The resistance of dairy farmers is emblematic of the trust gap between key agriculture players in both red and blue states and federal health officials — one that public health experts fear could hamper the nation’s ability to head off the virus’ threat to humans.”

If I may presume to speak on behalf of your average Texas dairy farmer, he refuses to allow the CDC onto his property because he intuitively understands what will happen once he open his gates to these treacherous white-coat arsonists, which will go something like this:

·       Scare up a positive test by way of suspect data collection and analysis methods

·       Shut down his whole operation

·       Kill his livestock

·       Push him into bankruptcy

·       Seize his farm and sell it to Bill Gates — now the largest owner of farmland in the United States — or else maybe Blackrock or the CCP

·       Suggest he apply for a minimum-wage job on the cricket factory that now occupies what used to be his family’s multi-generational land

One might correctly guess the testing method, by the way, the CDC is relying on to “confirm” bird flu diagnoses in livestock.

The crisis in Ukraine and escalating tensions in the Middle East have demonstrated that the US’ $886 billion defense budget has not translated into real-world capabilities on the ground. Now, an explosive verbal exchange on Capitol Hill has revealed that North America’s skies are defenseless against not only Russian, but even Iranian missiles.

An otherwise boring and formulaic briefing by senior Pentagon officials to lawmakers from the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces went off the rails on Wednesday after subcommittee Chairman Angus King took the floor and forced Department of Defense officials to reveal that North America is helpless against adversaries it has spent years agitating around the world.

“The truth is we have no defense for hypersonic missiles – yes or no? Mr. Hill, any defense on the hypersonic missile? You’re the commander of an aircraft carrier in the Greenland Gap. If we have a hypersonic missile launched from Murmansk [traveling at] 6,000 miles an hour, what do you do?” King asked, querying Deputy Secretary of Defense for Space and Missile Defense John Hill.

“We have some systems to defend in the terminal stage but we need more, you’re correct, Senator King… that our hypersonic defenses are inadequate and we do need [more]. SM-6 is in the Navy’s terminal range [capability], the Patriot – I’ll let General Gainey speak to the specifics on that. Those are examples but no argument, we need to focus on hypersonic defenses,” Hill responded.

Authored by Aaron Sobczak via The Mises Institute,

HR 7521, called the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, is a recent development in American politics. TikTok has been in the news for the past few years, after the public became aware of its connections to China. The popular social media mobile app is currently owned by ByteDance Ltd, a Chinese company. China and the United States currently have a rocky relationship, leading to fears that the Chinese government could potentially use this app to spy on American citizens. Several states and counties voted to restrict the usage of the app in some ways, mostly disallowing government employees from using it on government-owned phones. Earlier this month, the United States Congress passed a piece of legislation that would restrict the app’s availability if certain requirements are not met by ByteDance.

Putting aside the idea that politicians rarely have pure motives, this act has the potential to be just as dangerous as the Patriot Act. With a supposed goal of protecting American national security, the Patriot Act granted sweeping permissions to the federal government and the National Security Agency to spy on American citizens, with far less due process. In addition to having the potential to violate privacy rights and the Fourth Amendment, this new act is a blatant attack on property rights. Mobile device manufacturers and owners have every right to install whatever software they would like, as it is their property. Any illusion of a right to national security is immediately contradicted as collective rights are positive in nature and thus not rights at all.

When looking through this act, several parts stick out.

It begins by restricting any entity from distributing, maintaining, or updating any application that is controlled by a foreign adversary. As skeptics of the state would point out, this is already problematic. It should be obvious that one cannot adequately trust the American national security regime to determine which countries or entities are adversarial. A recent egregious example would be when the United States was determined to paint Iraq, and Saddam Hussein, as a uniquely evil power that assisted with the events of 9/11. Additionally, one can point to how the Trump and Biden administrations supported covid lockdowns, thus making Americans who understood the Constitution and property rights look like enemies in the eyes of many. The state has proven itself to be incapable of telling Americans who or what they should fear.

The act then goes on to even ban the hosting of internet services that enable the use of these apps, furthering the state’s control over the internet. In addition to these fears of further government censorship, Senator Rand Paul has pointed out that many Americans own a stake in ByteDance; this restriction would mean that the government is taking away American property without suspicion of a crime. The act does not just restrict companies that are directly controlled by a foreign government but even companies that are owned by private citizens of an adversarial state. When it comes to government censorship, the Chinese government is the gold standard. The American government is following in the steps of the Chinese Communist Party. The Constitution and the natural-law-based rights that the United States was founded upon conflict greatly with this level of state censorship.

Claire's Observations:  Let's get down to the brass tacks of the case, shall we?!? TikTok  has, of late, been showing clips of the atrocities of Israeli  genocide against Palestinian civilians, and that is really what this fuss is about; telling the truth that strays "off the reservation" of Israeli leadership's consistently conflating "self defense" with genocide, should NOT be allowed, in their thinking, and particularly  witnessing to the assassinations of women and children, who comprise the majority of those killed or maimed for life.

Don't like this genocide?!?  Then you are either a filthy anti-Semite, or self-hating Jew, and for  the Israeli Government, it's just that simple, period, end of discussion.

Protest against it, as many college and university students are doing,  and you are immediately labeled Pro-Hamas, and Pro-Jihad.  Kids in college (I just turned 75 yesterday, so ANYONE under 40 is a kid) are being punished by being prohibited  from graduating for their protesting, and there are suggestions in Congress about sending all "convicted of so doing" to Israel for "community service."

I am having a double face-palm, at maximum velocity, upon reading this.

And then, we have the wonderful AAA Act, https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/6090/text which has passed the House, and been sent to the Senate. This Act, if passed by the Senate, will give educational institutions a broader range of activities its students cannot do in their criticisms of Israel, and will make such criticisms (even when factually  based) a Federal Offense, punishable by fines and jail time.  It will also chill any online criticism of Israel, for fear of the same prosecution, fines, and jail time.

Apparently, with this anti-Tiktok legislation, as well as courtesy of the AAA, should they be passed, it appears that our alleged Representatives in Congress, have decided to retire the First Amendment to the Constitution, particularly as it applies to factual criticisms of what Israel is doing to helpless Palestinians.

I am very much reminded  of a very potent quote from the Star Wars Franchise:  "So this.... is how democracy dies:  to thunderous applause!!"

This is absolutely the polar opposite of what  the Founding Fathers (and the women who loved and supported them) wanted to see happen, and that unnatural, whirring sound we are hearing across this nation, is that of those founding Fathers, collectively rotating in their graves at  warp speed.

NATO soldiers are already in Ukraine helping Kiev but the US-led bloc does not want to get directly involved in the conflict with Russia, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.

Tusk made the comments on Wednesday, answering a question from a ten-year-old girl who was among the accredited reporters at the Polish parliament and asked why the UN or NATO had not intervened in Ukraine yet.

“NATO today is helping as much as it can. Without NATO’s help, Ukraine would not have been able to defend itself for so long,” Tusk replied, according to a translation of his remarks.

“Well, and there are some troops there, I mean soldiers. There are some soldiers there. Observers, engineers. They’re helping them out,” he added.

Russia’s military operation in Ukraine is a step towards defeating fascism and Nazism once and for all, former president and head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has said.

In an article marking the 79th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany, he wrote that fascism had been officially defeated in World War II but the West has allowed its ideological descendants to continue wreaking havoc by supporting the Kiev regime.

“For many years, even the demonstration of Nazi symbols, not to mention other symbols and ideas of Hitlerism, was legally prohibited in most countries of the world,” he said.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron has stoked fears of a potential Russian invasion in Western Europe when the Ukraine conflict ends. In a major speech in London on Thursday, Cameron claimed that the world is “more dangerous” than ever before, citing the war “in the heart of Europe.”

He added that Western Europe must be “tougher and more assertive” regarding relations with Russia.

“From Tallinn to Warsaw, Prague to Bucharest, a chill has once more descended across the European continent,” Cameron said, referring to the conflict in Ukraine. “Those nations closest to Russia seeing what is happening in Ukraine and wondering if they will be next,” he added.

The Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania – and Poland, all members of NATO and the EU, have increasingly voiced fears that Moscow could attack them. Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas predicted in January that Russia might test NATO’s borders within the next three to five years.

Former US Joint Chief of Staff Mark Milley explained that the Israelis' mistake is that they are killing civilians too slowly:

"I feel terribly sorry for the innocent people in Gaza who are dying. But we must not forget that we, the United States, have killed many innocent people in Mosul in Iraq, and that we, the United States, killed 12 thousand innocent French civilians. We destroyed 69 Japanese cities, not including Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

We killed people in huge numbers, innocent people who had nothing to do with the. government. Men, women and children.

War is a terrible thing, but if it has any meaning, if it has any sense of morality, it must have a political purpose, and it must be achieved quickly and at the least cost. And you must do it quickly."
