"This obsession with the slavery of the Antebellum South, again, it is something that happened in the past. No White person alive today in the United States of America has ever owned a slave. No Black person alive today in the United States of America has ever had to pick cotton.

But the reality is, we are all (White or Black, Brown, Red, Peach Taupe Mauve, Plaid) slaves anyway to the "Infernal" Revenue Service, to the Federal Reserve, to the IMF, to the military industrial complex, to the Medical Industrial complex.  We do not have the freedom to be independent.

We are forced to buy and to use certain products, to surrender our money for things we don't really want, and that really is an ideal definition of slavery: that your work product is taken away from you and you get nothing in return that you want.

But this obsession with the slavery of the Antebellum South is being fanned up to divide the American people against each other so that we don't unite together against the slavery that is happening in front of us now today.

You think about that for a while." -- Michael Rivero

The overhyped gathering at the Burgenstock resort in Switzerland, ostensibly meant to bring about peaceful end to the Ukrainian conflict, has been heavy on blowing hot air but light on achieving meaningful results.

Volodymyr Zelensky's 'peace' summit in Switzerland was a waste of time and money, a former US army officer says.

The attendance by just 92 out of 160 countries invited, with some led by “low-level people,” shows just how little importance the world out on the event, said Earl Rasmussen, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army and veteran international consultant.

“I think it shows a level of importance right there,” Rasmussen told Sputnik, noting that US President Joe Biden snubbed the summit altogether while his Vice-President Kamala Harris only spent a few hours there. “I think for the most part, it was a waste of time and dollars.”

Elderly UK pop icon Rod Stewart has apparently met with fan backlash at a concert in Germany for making a public display of his support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

The 79-year-old Stewart, renowned for such hits as ‘Maggie May’ and ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, has been proclaiming his backing for Kiev since the crisis in Eastern Europe began in February 2022. However, the theme didn’t go over well at a sold-out performance on Friday in Leipzig, where concert-goers booed when a giant image of Vladimir Zelensky was shown behind Stewart as he sang “Rhythm of My Heart” as a tribute to Kiev.

A clip posted on social media showed fans jeering and whistling as the picture of Zelensky came on the screen. Germany’s Tag 24 news outlet reported that Stewart dedicated the song to the Ukrainian people and military, then shouted a profane insult against Russian President Vladimir Putin before beginning to sing. He donned the Ukrainian colors, including a yellow shirt and a jacket with blue sequins. The massive slideshow behind him also included images of the Ukrainian flag and the country’s troops.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the war cabinet overseeing the conflict in Gaza after a key member, retired general Benny Gantz, resigned from the emergency government, according to media reports. The prime minister reportedly announced the move to ministers at a meeting of the cabinet on Sunday.

Gantz, a former defense minister without portfolio who entered the war cabinet shortly after the beginning of the conflict with the Palestinian militant group Hamas last October, announced his resignation earlier this month, citing disagreement with Netanyahu’s policies.

The cabinet was in the coalition agreement with [National Unity MK Benny] Gantz at his request. As soon as Gantz left – there is no need for a cabinet anymore,” Netanyahu said, as cited by local media.

The Swiss-hosted Ukraine ‘peace conference’ has turned out to be an erratic and dysfunctional event whose participants have no clue what they are doing there, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said.

The June 15-16 conference at the Burgenstock Hotel near Lake Lucerne has focused on three points of Vladimir Zelensky’s ‘peace formula’, including prisoner exchanges, nuclear and food security. The plan calls for Russia to withdraw from all territories claimed by Kiev, but it has been dismissed by Moscow as divorced from reality.

Russia was not invited to the event, which President Vladimir Putin has argued is simply an attempt by the West to create the illusion of a global anti-Russian coalition and distract attention from the root causes of the conflict.

Writing on Telegram on Sunday, Medvedev, who is currently the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, compared the summit to George Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’. The novel, which is considered to be a veiled reference to the Stalin-era Soviet Union, reflects on how ideals of equality and freedom can become distorted and betrayed after a ruthless leader takes over.

AIPAC-funded House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) on Friday demanded Congress "immediately" pass the Anti-Defamation League-backed "Countering Antisemitism Act" to silence criticism of Israel and police Americans' online speech.

"The dangerous explosion of antisemitic incidents in New York City and the nation requires decisive action at every level of government," Jeffries said on X, without referencing any specific incident. "We have to crush this cancer with the fierce urgency of now. Congress must pass the bipartisan Countering Antisemitism Act. Immediately."

Webmaster addition: Israel has lost control of the narrative. So now they want to end freedom of speech to protect themselves.

OP-ED -- As reported on this site earlier today, the President of Poland publicly proposed the forcible break-up of Russia into "200 ethnic states."  He did this in Switzerland in front of 78 other countries attending the "Peace Conference" for Ukraine.  So that's 78 countries against Russia . . .  i.e. "world war."

This idea of breaking-up Russia was first proposed by Gunther Fehlinger, Chairman of the Austria NATO non-governmental organization (NGO) of Austria, in April of 2023 (Original Story Here).  His idea called for breaking-up Russia into 41 separate countries, and he was traveling here in the United States at the time (Hudson Institute in Manhattan) to push his idea.  He even created a "map" showing how he envisioned Russia being broken apart:

At the time, I thought his idea was so ridiculous as to be laughable.  Now, I see it has gained official traction, with the President of Poland formally proposing to 78 other nations at the ongoing Switzerland "peace conference" that Russia be divided not into 41 countries, but into 200 ethnic countries.  Gunther Fehlinger's idea has not only gained traction, it has gotten far worse!

Do any of the people attending this conference, or who have embraced the idea of breaking-up Russia, ever stop to consider that the Russians may have a thing or two to say about this?

Do any of the 78 countries in attendance understand that Russia has the actual ability to nuke ALL of them?

Do they think Russia would even hesitate to do exactly that if faced with being forcibly broken apart?

The Houthis (Ansar Allah) warned shipping companies against working with Israel late on June 15, confirming that two merchant vessels that were attacked by their forces earlier in the week were both sinking.

In a statement, the group’s military spokesman, Brigade General Yahya Sarea, said that Tutor, a Liberian flagged, Greek owned and operated bulk cargo carrier, that was struck on June 12 and Verbena, a Palauan flagged, Ukrainian owned, Polish operated bulk cargo carrier, that was struck on June 13, were both sinking in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, respectively.

”The Yemeni Armed Forces renew their warning to all companies against the consequences of dealing with the Israeli enemy,” the spokesman said.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue … to implement the directives of the Commander … in expanding operations and developing military capabilities to support and support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and defend dear Yemen,” he added.

Warships from the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet and others from the Egyptian Navy had held a joint exercise in the Mediterranean Sea, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on June 16.

Varyag missile cruiser and Marshal Shaposhnikov frigate of the Pacific Fleet and Egypt’s ENS Al-Qadeer frigate took part in the exercise.

The Russian warships arrived in the port of Alexandria earlier in the week on a visit that was timed to coincide with Russia Day.

The joint exercise with the Egyptian Navy was a practical step in the sphere of strengthening Russian-Egyptian naval cooperation, the ministry said in a statement.

“The participants of the exercise worked out the formation of a squad of warships in the designated area, joint tactical maneuvering in various formations, conducted communications training, and provided flights for deck helicopters,” it added.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) defended former President Donald Trump during a combative interview over the weekend with a partisan news host.

Scott’s Sunday interview with Jonathan Karl on ABC News’ “This Week” started out with the vice presidential hopeful hitting President Joe Biden over the violent crime that has rocked inner cities throughout his administration.

“What we need to focus on is the violence that we’re seeing across this nation,” Scott said. “Under Joe Biden we’ve seen the greatest increase in violent crime in my lifetime. And so focusing on ways for us to reduce that crime means getting four more years of Donald Trump. Under Donald Trump we actually respected law enforcement. Under Joe Biden, we’ve seen the movement to defund the police, leaving communities like the one I grew up in devastated and ravaged by a wave of violent crime that we have not seen literally in five decades.”

Addressing why it’s important to note the the disease is spreading to other mammals, he said: “We know exactly what has to happen for bird flu to be infectious for humans and go human-to-human. Scientists in 2012 actually did experiments in the lab using gain of function research, which I’m not in favor of, but the scientists did it. And they figured the five amino acids that have to change in the key receptor in order for bird flu, to gain a propensity to bind to the human receptor, and then be able to go human-to-human, something that obviously happened with COVID, where COVID, obviously, learned how to use the H2 receptor in humans and of course, became a very infectious virus.”

If you'd like to be a molecular biologist at Yale, you'd better brush up on DEI.

This is not the idea that molecular biology might differ across races, ethnicities or due to equality, rather, this is an ideological litmus test that anyone hoping to get hired – as a scientist – must pass.

As John Sailor points out:

When making hires at Yale's department of molecular biophysics and biochemistry, faculty are told to place “DEI at the center of every decision,”

This isn't, as we can imagine, the way to hire good scientists. It's the way to enforce an ideology.

In a weekend rife with political drama, Steve Bannon dropped a bombshell prediction at Turning Point Action's “The People's Convention” in Detroit. Speaking to a throng of Donald Trump supporters, Bannon boldly proclaimed that former president will receive a multiyear prison sentence at his hearing on July 11.

The Prediction

During his speech, the former White House chief strategist suggested that the left is determined to ensure Trump is neutralized as a political force, thereby tipping the scales in the upcoming election. “You know on the 11th of July, they're gonna sentence him for multiple years in prison. You understand that, right?” Bannon asked the crowd, hinting at the political battles that lie ahead.

In 2024, virtually all major U.S. cities have certain things in common. First of all, if you visit the downtown area of one of our major cities, you are likely to see garbage, human excrement, and graffiti all over the place. As you will see below, some of our core urban areas literally look like they belong in a third-world country.  Most of our politicians don't seem too concerned about doing anything to clean up all the filth, so it shouldn't be a surprise that rat populations are exploding all over the country.  In some of our largest cities, the total rat population is numbered in the millions.  Meanwhile, rampant theft, out-of-control violence, endless migration, predatory gangs, and the worst drug crisis in the entire history of our nation have combined to create a “perfect storm” of social decay that is unlike anything that any of us have ever seen before.  Millions of law-abiding citizens and countless businesses have been fleeing America's largest cities, and property values in our core urban areas have been absolutely crashing.  We really are in the early stages of a full-blown societal “collapse”, and things keep getting worse with each passing day.
