Viewers of the Imperial News Network were stunned today, as Mark Hamill joined a Death Star press conference to say what a good job he thinks the Emperor is doing.

The surprise appearance, reportedly put together in an effort to shore up Emperor Palpatine's dwindling support throughout the galaxy, featured Hamill giving the Empire his official seal of approval.

"I hope the next two decades of his tyrannical rule are just as successful as his last two decades," Hamill said solemnly as he stood behind the podium. "No leader has ever ruled as well as the Emperor has. Everyone should ignore all the negative talk about falling wages, the deadly spice epidemic sweeping across the galaxy, unrest breaking out on every star system, and the continued flood of undocumented Gungans being transported to settle on other planets. Emperor Palpatine is the greatest leader this galaxy has ever had, and I'm proud to serve him faithfully."

A spokesperson for the Empire thanked Hamill for his endorsement. "The Emperor is honored to have Mr. Hamill's support," said Death Star Press Secretary Karibo Jen-Parassian. "He is a revered actor who is obviously an authority on which politicians everyone should side with. The Emperor is even considering making Mr. Hamill his newest apprentice."

A motion filed in the Fulton County “election interference” case against Donald Trump and 18 codefendants, also known as “The Fulton 19,” hasn’t garnered much attention but has the potential to upend the entire case.

Meet Harrison Floyd. He fought for his country as a marine, interned at the Heritage Foundation, was a senior staff member on President Trump’s 2020 campaign, and led a nationwide effort known as “Black Voices for Trump.”

He is also one of the defendants indicted last year, along with President Trump, by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Floyd was charged with a violation of Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) statute, “solicitation of false statements and writings,” and “influencing a witness,” stemming from contact he had with Fulton County temporary election worker Ruby Freeman.

The “whistleblower” who sparked Donald Trump’s first impeachment was deeply involved in the political maneuverings behind Biden-family business schemes in Ukraine that Trump wanted probed, newly obtained emails from former Vice President Joe Biden’s office reveal.

In 2019, then-National Intelligence Council analyst Eric Ciaramella touched off a political firestorm when he anonymously accused Trump of linking military aid for Ukraine to a demand for an investigation into alleged Biden corruption in that country.

But four years earlier, while working as a national security analyst attached to then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office, Ciaramella was a close adviser when Biden threatened to cut off U.S. aid to Ukraine unless it fired its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Ukraine-based Burisma Holdings. At the time, the corruption-riddled energy giant was paying Biden’s son Hunter millions of dollars.

The Arizona Supreme Court reversed a lower court’s ruling Thursday that had sanctioned the Arizona Republican Party for a lawsuit it brought following the 2020 general election.

The party had challenged the procedures followed by Maricopa County (which includes the Phoenix metro area) in conducting the mandatory hand count required by law of roughly two percent of the precinct ballots, the justices explained in their unanimous, 7-0 decision.

The hand count audit is meant to ensure the accuracy of the vote-counting machines.

Ukraine's President Zelensky has reportedly told his top military commanders that Ukraine must win against Russia if it hopes to one day be admitted into NATO.

Russian state media has captured and translated key lines of the speech. "I believe that we will be in NATO only if we win. I don’t think that we will be admitted [...] during the war," Zelensky had said during a meeting with officers. Ukrainian sources also confirmed the remarks.

He admitted that as things currently stand, NATO leaders "feel the risks" while "others are simply skeptical." The Ukrainian president continued, "Therefore, for Ukraine to be accepted into the alliance, we need victory."

A former U.S. senator and longtime political confidante of President Biden openly acknowledged that the Department of Justice was "full of Biden people" during the Obama presidency, sparking criticism from skeptics as Biden's DOJ continues to fight questions about its impartiality in high-profile investigations.

"The Justice Department is full of Biden people!" Former Delaware Democratic Sen. Ted Kaufman said in a 2012 "Oral History" Senate interview reviewed by Fox News Digital in response to a question about Biden's input on cabinet positions.

"I mean full of Biden people. If you want a list of where Biden people are, there are a whole bunch of people in the Justice Department, and a whole bunch of them in our foreign policy establishment, and a whole bunch of them in the White House, OMB, and places like that."

Republican Representative Byron Donalds was verbally accosted by an individual hurling racial slurs and accusations during his visit at George Washington University.

The Daily Caller released footage of Donalds being confronted by a man amidst anti-Israel protests at George Washington University on Wednesday.

The vile leftist, with a noticeable accent, was filmed challenging Donalds with inflammatory remarks, questioning his integrity and allegiance.

“How much is AIPAC paying you, you bastard?” he questioned, referencing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The situation escalated when the same man called Donalds a “race traitor” and an “Uncle Tom.” His tirade continued as he accused the Congressman of working for a foreign entity.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on April 30 appealed to the partners of the United States to transfer Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, which has repeatedly requested more of the air defense systems to help protect Ukrainian cities and infrastructure from Russian attacks.

“There are countries that have Patriots, and so what we’re doing is continuing to engage those countries,” Austin told the House Armed Services Committee. “I have talked to the leaders of several countries…myself here in the last two weeks, encouraging them to give up more capability or provide more capability.”

Austin did not identifying the countries, but among those that are known to possess the systems are Spain, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden.

Touring the northern Israeli border with Lebanon, Israeli military chief of staff Herzi Halevi met with Northern Command for an assessment of the planned military operation against Lebanon, and told reservists they are “preparing for an offensive in the north.”

Halevi added, “Its objectives are both to restore security to the communities near the Gaza Strip and to bring the hostages back home securely.”

Halevi didn’t elaborate on the specifics or timing of the offensive, but Israeli military brass have made a big deal of planned operations against Lebanon. The military goal has been presented as both moving Hezbollah back from the border and allowing refugees to return to northern Israel.

Israel and Hezbollah have been trading fire since October, and huge numbers of civilians have been displaced on both sides of the border. If anything, the situation has been escalating in recent weeks.

The National Day of Prayer is a sacred day for millions of Americans. For generations, presidents would issue a message that encourages the faithful. Donald Trump and many other leaders have considered it a special day for all Americans.

It should not be a surprise, then, to see a message from Joe Biden posted on social media.

The White House issued a statement from Biden on the day. The message quoted from the Bible, but failed to mention God or Jesus Christ. Americans didn’t seem to think the message was sincere at all, given Biden’s track record in office. And they were quick to let him know.

From Breitbart:
On the National Day of Prayer, Biden wrote, “Scripture tells us to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer.”

“On this National Day of Prayer, my prayer is that we keep faith that our best days are ahead of us and continue to believe in honesty, decency, dignity, and respect,” he said in a message that did not include the words “God” or “Jesus”…

“You’re the last person who should be quoting scripture, considering that your policies directly contradict the teachings of the Bible,” one wrote, as another pointed out that Biden pays lip service to scripture while pushing for the murder of unborn children.

In a stunning admission, Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team is admitting that key evidence in former President Donald Trump’s classified documents criminal case was altered or manipulated since it was seized by the FBI, and that prosecutors misled the court about it for a period of time.

Legal experts told Just the News the revelation could prove to be a serious problem for prosecutors and a violation of court rules to preserve evidence in the state it was seized.

In a new filing Friday, Smith’s team said that the order of documents in some of the boxes of memos that were seized by the FBI from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was altered or jumbled, leaving two different chronologies: one that was digitally scanned and another the physical order in the boxes.

“Since the boxes were seized and stored, appropriate personnel have had access to the boxes for several reasons, including to comply with orders issued by this Court in the civil proceedings noted above, for investigative purposes, and to facilitate the defendants' review of the boxes,” Smith’s team wrote in a new court filing to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon.

“There are some boxes where the order of items within that box is not the same as in the associated scans,” the prosecutors wrote.

Palestinian scholarship and education have been a consistent target of Zionism’s settler-colonial violence against Palestinians.

As we enter the seventh month of Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, this targeting, originally identified as “scholasticide” by Palestinian scholar Karma Nabulsi in 2009, has escalated.

Israel has destroyed or severely damaged all 12 of Gaza’s universities and institutions of higher learning, struck more than 80 percent of all schools across the Gaza Strip, and killed 95 university professors and 261 teachers.

“Israel kills poets, artists and academics who can mobilize people with their work and give Palestinians a shared cultural sense,” writes Sewar Elejla. “The killings are undertaken so that the goals of Zionism – Israel’s state ideology – can be attained … Israel has a 75-year history of killing Palestine’s great minds.”

Educators and students in the US are not being physically exterminated by Israel’s genocide. Nevertheless, it is important to understand the connection between scholasticide in Palestine and the Zionist imperative to eliminate any and all criticism of the Israeli colonial project within US educational spaces.

This is a process that unfolds with full US institutional support. Assassinating Indigenous Palestinians and repressing critics abroad both serve Zionism’s broader goal of achieving impunity for its colonial project.

Palestinian human rights groups say that Israel has escalated its attacks in Rafah, southern Gaza, where approximately 1.3 million people, the vast majority of them displaced from other areas in the territory, are now concentrated.

Israel has also intensified artillery shelling in the eastern area of Rafah in what Al-Haq, Al Mezan and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights describe as a campaign of intimidation aimed at compelling a new wave of forced displacement ahead of a large-scale military assault on Rafah.

More than 40 Palestinians, including 13 children and 12 women, were killed during intensified Israeli attacks on Rafah between 26 and 29 April, according to the rights groups.

A baby less than a week old was killed when Israeli warplanes targeted a home belonging to the al-Khawaja family in Rafah’s al-Shabura refugee camp. Nine people were killed in the attack, the majority of them Palestinians displaced from the Gaza City area and Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

Attorneys general representing half of the country on May 1 sued President Joe Biden’s administration over a new rule requiring criminal background checks for all gun sales, including private sales.

Lawsuits in Florida, Texas, and Arkansas are asking the courts to block a rule from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that redefines “engaged in the business” of dealing in firearms.

Under the new rule, almost every transfer of firearm ownership would require at least one party to have a Federal Firearms License and perform a criminal background check, including private sales.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland signed the new rule on April 10, and it goes into effect on May 10.

According to the 466-page rule, the only requirement for determining whether a person is engaged in the business of selling guns is whether the person is trading to “predominately earn a profit.” Previously, the defining characteristic was whether the dealer worked to earn a “livelihood.”

In a recent development, a House Committee subpoena has forced the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to reveal details of its parole program designed to allow entry for thousands of individuals from several nations.

The program, established in October 2022, was initially tailored to facilitate entry for Venezuelans who had American sponsors and passed a vetting process. However, the scope of the program rapidly expanded, encompassing individuals from Cuba, Haiti, and Nicaragua as well - eventually flying illegal aliens to more than 45 cities across the United States.

According to the DHS documents, between January and August 2023, the parole program allowed over 200,000 individuals to enter the United States. While the program did not cover the cost of flights for these individuals, it permitted them to enter the country and make travel arrangements independently. Among the program's participants, Florida emerged as a leading destination, with around 80% of the 200,000 choosing to settle in cities such as Miami, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale. Other prominent destinations included New York, California, Texas, Nevada, and Georgia.
