"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don't want war: neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." -- Leading Nazi leader, Hermann Goering, at the Nuremberg Trials before he was sentenced to death

Disturbing surveillance footage out of the Bay Area in California shows a serial shoplifter setting a store clerk’s hair on fire with stolen lighter fluid after he tried to stop the alleged thief from stealing.

Suraj — the store clerk who declined to reveal his last name out of fear of being targeted again — is seen on video tussling with Kendall Burton before Burton doused Suraj’s head in lighter fluid on Sept. 22 at the Appian Food and Liquor in El Sobrante, according to a video obtained by CBS News.

In the video, another worker is seen rushing to Suraj’s rescue with a baseball bat seconds before flames consume the clerk’s head after Burton ignites the fluid during the confrontation.

“I tried to cover his hand, but I don’t know. I don’t remember. He just lit the fire on me, you know,” Suraj told the outlet.

“I just rushed to the restroom, and I just splashed water on my face.”

Joe Biden is running for a second term in the White House. To date, however, he has done virtually no campaigning. His wife has attended numerous fundraisers. But with only a year before the general election, Biden is seemingly MIA.

Most of the party is behind Joe, despite terrible approval numbers and growing fears about his age. Biden is facing numerous headwinds against his 2024 aspirations. Cornell West is running as a third-party candidate. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running as a Democrat in the primaries. Now, yet another Democrat leader could spell trouble for Biden’s second term.

From Axios:
Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) said in a podcast released Monday that he’s “considering” challenging President Biden for the Democratic Party’s nomination in 2024…

I am thinking about it. I haven’t ruled it out,” Phillips told political strategist Steve Schmidt on Friday for his podcast, “The Warning.” […]

“I’m concerned that there is no alternative,” he said.

Anyone not believing there is a culture war raging across America only has to look at California as a prime example. Lawmakers in this left-leaning state have repeatedly worked against the constitutional rights of citizens there.

The attacks against American rights and values extends all the way to Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) who this week readied his political hammer to slam down on school districts that dare disobey leftist edicts. Any district that doesn’t bow to laws that force the teaching of leftist ideals will be slammed.

Newsom has openly targeted conservative school districts and sought power from the state legislature to punish communities that don’t align with LGBTQ+ issues and “ethnic” studies.

From Breitbart:
Newsom signed a bill Monday that will enable him to slap fines on local school districts that refuse to obey state edicts on curriculum involving controversial subjects like race, gender, and sexuality.

California’s newest senator is a resident of the state of Maryland.

Democratic Golden State Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Sunday evening that he was tapping Emily’s List president Laphonza Butler to serve out the term of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who died last week at the age of 90.

However, records indicate that Butler has spent recent years far from the constituents she will represent for the next 15 months.

A Federal Election Commission filing from the end of August for the abortion rights advocacy group listed Silver Spring, Md., as Butler’s place of residence.

Individual donation records for Butler further indicated she had not lived in California since at least September 2021, when she was tapped to head up the powerful Democrat-supporting organization.

Bank investigators suspected Hunter Biden was associated with a 'sex trafficking ring' and falsified checks to pay prostitutes, Treasury documents reveal.

Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) reviewed by DailyMail.com show the First Son's accounts were being monitored as late as December 2019, after investigators found payments from Hunter and his companies to a suspected 'Eastern European prostitution ring'.

A previously unreported document, filed to the Department of the Treasury on December 17, 2019 by financial crime investigators at Wells Fargo, picked out 25 individuals linked to the suspected ring and almost $7million of suspicious transactions, some of which included checks from Hunter that they believed may have been falsified to hide his payments to hookers from his business account.

The report, shown to DailyMail.com by a confidential source, said 'Biden has sent money to individuals who may be part of an Eastern European prostitution ring', and that investigators were monitoring 'several [Wells Fargo] customers suspected of participating in a sex trafficking ring associated with Biden'.

Others associated with the ring included women with Russian passports and a China-based company to which money was funneled.

Webmaster addition: If Hunter brought those prostitutes across state lines, that's a violation of the Mann Act!

On September 16, around 10,000 protesters descended on Prague’s Wenceslas Square to demand a change to their government’s foreign policy. These protests were led by a group called Pravo Respekt Odbornost (Law Respect Expertise; PRO), which the Western mainstream media describes as pro-Russian and anti-Western.

Jindrich Rajchl, a Czech attorney inspired by the political lines of American conservatives Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, is the leader of the group. While some may see Rajchl’s movement as completely out of touch with the country’s traditional politics, he believes that he’s tapped into something much more critical to Prague’s national mythos: rejecting foreign domination.

PRO and its supporters see the current Czech government as traitors who are controlled primarily from Washington and Brussels. And even though the political environment in the country has been turbulent over the past several years, a situation which the current goverment was meant to resolve, Rajchl and PRO believe that a national-conservative platform is the only thing that will rein in out-of-control excesses emanating from foreign powers.

The chief advisor to New York City mayor Eric Adams has called on the Biden administration  to close the border, as former president Bill Clinton warns the city's right to shelter is 'broken.'

Ingrid Lewis-Martin made the comments on Sunday as she discussed the crisis that has seen over 116,000 migrants arrive in the city in 18 months, with more than 60,000 of them still in the city's care. The Adams administration is currently trying to change the city's right to shelter law to not include new migrants - a stunning reversal as both the Democratic mayor and governor first welcomed the asylum seekers with open arms.

'It would alleviate it to the extend that others wouldn't be so ready and able to come to New York City because they know, "they're not going to provide us with shelter,"' Martin said when asked changing the right to shelter law. 'We have to find a way to make them understand, we're no longer responsible for you, you need to find other means. Go to another state.'

However, Marin added that the federal government should ultimately be in control of the situation as she demanded the borders be closed: 'We need the federal government, the Congress members, the Senate, and the president to do its job: Close the borders,' she told PIX11.

You know gas prices are out of control when a pro athlete who just signed a $145 million contract starts to complain.

“This is highway f****** robbery,” Butler says, gawking at the numbers on the screen.

“You think if I go in there and tell them that I put the wrong gas in here, they’d give me a refund?”

“California’s brutal,” says Chad.

A Michigan man who claimed to expose child predators online for his large social media following was fatally shot Friday night after he confronted two teenagers he believed to be pedophiles.

Robert Wayne Lee, 40, also known online as "Boopac Shakur," reportedly exposed potential child predators by posing as a 15-year-old girl online in an effort to lure and expose pedophiles, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said, according to CNN.

The outlet previously published a lengthy piece about how online predators operate.

Lee had published several videos of his revelations to Facebook and Instagram, where he has 12,000 and 45,000 followers respectively. In some of the videos he posted, the viewer could see him engaging in violent altercations with the alleged predators. Police officers were also featured in some of his content.

On Friday night, Lee reportedly confronted two teenagers — a 17- and 18-year-old — at a restaurant located in Pontiac, Michigan. Lee apparently accused one of the teenagers of being a pedophile and punched him, according to the report.

The teen who was punched pulled out a knife, and the second teenager, the 17-year-old, pulled out a firearm and shot Lee several times. Lee was quickly taken to a hospital and ultimately died of his injuries.

Democracy is under attack. Again.

The House of Representatives worked diligently on Saturday to pass a 45-day continuing resolution to prevent a government shutdown. The House Freedom Caucus refused to support any measure that included funding for the ongoing war in Ukraine. Setting aside that peculiar revolt against the foreign policy blob’s ironclad preference for permanent war, however, it was a fall day in Washington, D.C., indistinguishable from so many others.

Until it wasn’t.

Unbeknownst to those members toiling inside the Capitol — which former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) once stirringly described as “a temple of our Democracy, of our Constitution, of our highest ideals” — Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), an enemy of freedom, of decency, of righteousness, conspired to assault the sacred operations of the United States Congress.

Sadly, he succeeded.

At 12:05 p.m., while the House deliberated on the budget resolution, Bowman, in what can only be fairly described as an insurrectionary act of brazen proportions, pulled a fire alarm to put a stop to those deliberations. He was even caught on camera doing so.

A leaked US strategy document revealed that the Biden administration is far more worried about corruption in Ukraine than it publicly admits, an American newspaper reported on Monday.

A high-level corruption could undermine confidence of the Ukrainian public and foreign leaders in the government in Kiev, the report said.

The confidential version of the document, named “Integrated Country Strategy,” is about three times longer than its public version and contains many additional details related to the US goals in Ukraine, the report noted. That includes privatizing Ukrainian banks, encouraging the military to adopt NATO norms, and supporting local schools in teaching the English language.

The strategy also stresses that the Ukrainian government can not delay its anti-graft policies because the current situation could cause concern from allies in the West.

The newspaper supposed that the fact of the quiet release of the strategy, along with the toughest language in the confidential version, shows the White House’s concerns over the situation in Ukraine.

Russia has received no proposals from the United States to check the latter's compliance with the current moratorium on nuclear weapons tests, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Sputnik on Monday.

Last week, US media reported that the US Department of Energy is seeking to demonstrate it is not violating the current moratorium on nuclear weapons testing, inviting Russia and China to review it in order to achieve greater transparency and reduce military tensions.

"We have not received any invitations," Ryabkov said, adding that Russia's position on the impossibility of doing business as usual with the United States in the field of strategic stability and in the field of arms control has not changed.
