Back live Today!
As a medical student and researcher, I staunchly supported the efforts of the public health authorities when it came to COVID-19. I believed that the authorities responded to the largest public health crisis of our lives with compassion, diligence, and scientific expertise. I was with them when they called for lockdowns, vaccines, and boosters.
I was wrong. We in the scientific community were wrong. And it cost lives.
I can see now that the scientific community from the CDC to the WHO to the FDA and their representatives, repeatedly overstated the evidence and misled the public about its own views and policies, including on natural vs. artificial immunity, school closures and disease transmission, aerosol spread, mask mandates, and vaccine effectiveness and safety, especially among the young. All of these were scientific mistakes at the time, not in hindsight. Amazingly, some of these obfuscations continue to the present day.
We all know what an early promoter of getting everyone vaccinated as soon as the first COVID-19 jabs became available Bill Gates was – even if he didn’t want to grant poorer countries the freedom to produce their own vaccines, cutting into his profits (he had invested $55 million in vaccine developer BioNTech). But now that he’s cashed out and made his money back ten times over, Gates is apparently reevaluating the vaccines’ effectiveness, and actively crapping on them while promoting a new possible mouth spray vaccine. What a weird turnaround!
Hunter Biden’s biolabs in Ukraine have received tens of millions in U.S. tax dollars from the Department of Defense (DOD) to carry out disturbing experiments, according to bombshell government spending data.
The U.S. federal government’s official spending database, USASpending.gov, shows that the DOD has awarded Hunter Biden’s Metabiota labs millions of dollars in lucrative contracts.
Metabiota, a San Francisco-based startup that compiles data from around the world to “predict” disease outbreaks, runs several labs in Ukraine that have been linked to dangerous bioweapons research.
The company is partly owned by Democrat President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and is mentioned in emails found on his notorious “Laptop from Hell.”
Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners, invested $500,000 in Metabiota in the early days.
The United States is reportedly tracking “warlike” announcements by the Iranian regime that it is sending warships to the Western Hemisphere.
Two military ships have been deployed from Iran to Brazil, and will soon head to the Panama Canal. The regime had previously declared that it will establish a military presence in those two areas.
“Iran’s 86th flotilla warships is now sailing along the western shores of Latin America, the Navy second-in-command said.” The Tehran Times reported on Saturday.
The commander of the Islamic Republic’s navy, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani had, in early January, talked about their plans for the near future.
“We have been present in all the strategic straits of the world, and we have not been present in only two straits,” he said. “in one of which we will be present this year, and we are planning to be present in the Panama Canal.”
This morning we told you that the FBI is conducting a search for classified documents at President Biden’s Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home according to media reports.
It’s a safe bet that if documents are found during this search the FBI won’t throw them on the floor, take pictures and then give them to the mainstream media:
FBI personnel arrived to search President Biden’s home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Wednesday morning in relation to the probe into documents marked classified in his residence and former private office, sources told CBS News.
“Today, with the President’s full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware,” Bob Bauer, the president’s personal attorney, said in a statement confirming the search. “Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate.”
Just coincidentally, the New York Post’s Miranda Devine spotted the White House calling a new kind of lid:
Migrants who have landed in New York City are protesting the decision to send them from a midtown hotel to a ferry cruise terminal in Brooklyn by camping outside of their affluent lodgings.
Sergio Tupac Uzurin, an anti-NYPD and pro-migrant activist who attended Manhattan's exclusive Stuyvesant High School, told a group of reporters and residents of the area around West 57th Street this week that the reason for the protest was that the 'cold' shelter was 'not meant to be inhabited' and that the beds are made of 'hard materials.'
Uzurin also argued that Mayor Eric Adams and New York Governor Kathy Hochul should give the newly arrived migrants access to the apartments in the area around The Watson Hotel known as 'Billionaire's Row.'
For the second consecutive year, it appears a snowstorm, with ice and sleet all over, is going to put a strain on the Texas power grid as more than 40 million people have been warned to brace themselves for ice and wind chills, with forecasters warning it may get even worse in the Lone Star State.
At least 250,000 customers are already without power in the state, according to PowerOutage.us, with the number expected to climb even higher.
Bands of sleet and snow that brought traffic to a standstill across the nation's midsection, canceled thousands of flights, and were blamed for six deaths caused dangerous conditions for a third day Wednesday in several Southern states.
After months of asking, the Ukrainian military is set to receive more than 100 western-made main battle tanks from its international allies, including 31 U.S. M1 Abrams tanks, 14 British Challenger 2 tanks, and about 80 German-built Leopard 2 tanks.
But while the arrival of western armor in Ukraine may appear something to celebrate, Russia says it is already planning on deploying possible countermeasures including, apparently, an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) modified to become a robotic tank killer.
Speaking to RIA Novosti last week, Dmitriy Rogozin — the former Russian space chief who currently serves as the head of a group of military advisors calling itself the “Royal Wolves” or “Tsar’s Wolves” — announced that those western-built tanks can expect to meet a modified version of the Russian military’s Marker UGV armed with anti-tank missile on the battlefields of eastern Ukraine
“Everyone agrees that our strike Marker should be prepared for their destruction along with the crews in the remaining time before the arrival of the Abrams and Leopards in Ukraine,” Rogozin said.
Former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett has urged the American Jewish community to not give up on Israel, saying at an event in New York that the concerns over the current far-right government are exaggerated.
However, while the former premier described some of the proposals by Israeli ministers as "foolish words flying out in the air", he ultimately said he doesn't know what the immediate future holds with the new government.
Political prisoners and prisoners of conscience in Bahrain are suffering from the long-term effects of torture and other alleged violations experienced during their arrest, interrogation and imprisonment, according to a new report.
The non-profit Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) said on Monday it had found through interviews and medical reports that many victims were unable to resume a normal life due to “invisible wounds” that persist years after the alleged mistreatment.
