NASA’s Lucy spacecraft will add another asteroid encounter to its 4-billion-mile journey. On November 1, 2023, Lucy will get a close-up view of a small main-belt asteroid to conduct an engineering test of the spacecraft’s innovative asteroid-tracking navigation system.

The Lucy mission is already breaking records by planning to visit nine asteroids during its 12-year tour of the Jupiter Trojan asteroids, which orbit the Sun at the same distance as Jupiter. Originally, Lucy was not scheduled to get a close-up view of any asteroids until 2025, when it will fly by the main belt asteroid (52246) Donaldjohanson. However, the Lucy team identified a small, as-yet unnamed asteroid in the inner main belt, designated (152830) 1999 VD57, as a potential new and useful target for the Lucy spacecraft.

“There are millions of asteroids in the main asteroid belt,” said Raphael Marschall, Lucy collaborator at the Nice Observatory in France, who identified asteroid 1999 VD57 as an object of special interest for Lucy. “I selected 500,000 asteroids with well-defined orbits to see if Lucy might be traveling close enough to get a good look at any of them, even from a distance. This asteroid really stood out. Lucy’s trajectory as originally designed will take it within 40,000 miles of the asteroid, at least three times closer than the next closest asteroid.”

It caused one Twitter user to say: 'Since [Lightfoot]'s term began, Chicago has suffered 2,278 homicides and over 9,000 shot. Since January 1, the city has endured 41 homicides and 194 shot. Yet here Lightfoot is blissfully dancing and asking voters to return her to office. Lightfoot is detached from reality.'

In order to continue peddling an endless stream of new high-profit “vaccines” on the public, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is engaging in “directed evolution” projects designed to “mutate” the virus on purpose.

Project Veritas learned all this in another undercover bombshell interview, this time with Jordon Trishton Walker, Pfizer’s Director of Research and Development, Strategic Operations, and mRNA Scientific Planner. Walker revealed that Pfizer is intentionally trying to spread new “variants” and “subvariants” of covid in order to create and sell new injections.

“One of the things we’re exploring is, like, why don’t we just mutate it [covid] ourselves so we could create – preemptively develop new vaccines, right? So, we have to do that. If we’re going to do that though, there’s a risk of, like, as you could imagine – no one wants to be having a pharma company mutating f***ing viruses.”

Walker urged the interviewer: “don’t tell anyone, promise you won’t tell anyone.” He then proceeded to reveal how Pfizer is going about trying to mutate covid using primates. (Related: In 2021, Project Veritas blew the lid on Facebook’s global censorship of “vaccine hesitancy”.)

“The way it [the experiment] would work is that we put the virus in monkeys, and we successively cause them to keep infecting each other, and we collect serial samples from them.”

“You have to be very controlled to make sure that this virus [covid] that you mutate doesn’t create something that just goes everywhere,” he added. “Which, I suspect, is the way that the virus started in Wuhan, to be honest. It makes no sense that this virus popped out of nowhere. It’s bulls**t.”

As the Russo-Ukrainian war enters 2023, its sustained intensity raises consternation amongst various policymakers in the US and Western Europe as to whether sanctions against Moscow are achieving desirable results. Despite the imposition of Western sanctions, there is no apparent end to the invasion in sight, nor are there any serious attempts at negotiations from Russia’s President Vladmir Putin. Thus, months into an aggressive sanctions regime on Russia, an assessment of the effectiveness of those measures on the Russian economy is necessary to determine whether policy goals are making satisfactory progress.

When the war began last spring, the United States sought to implement a maximum pressure campaign strategy against the Kremlin. Such a strategy materialized into a multilateral collaborative effort aiming to weaken key sectors of the Russian economy and isolate Moscow financially.

Yet Western sanctions aimed Russia aggression have existed well before Putin’s “special military operation” in Ukraine. Current US sanctions on Russia predate Moscow’s most recent military incursion into Ukraine, beginning with President Obama’s EO(Executive Order) 13660 in 2014. EO 13660 authorized sanctions on individuals and entities responsible for violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, or for stealing the assets of the Ukrainian people. Succeeding orders such as EO 13622, EO 13685, EO 14065, and EO 10466 prohibited the importation of hydrocarbons, agriculture, and minerals from Russia. They further prevented US persons from conducting business with Kremlin- connected elites. As these examples elucidate, the United States has and continues to be committed to the imposition of economic restrictions against Putin and his enablers.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Sunday to "strengthen" Israeli settlements and arm thousands of Israelis after a series of attacks by Palestinians in Israeli-occupied territories. 

The Israeli security cabinet on Sunday approved a series of controversial measures Netanyahu proposed a day earlier in the wake of two separate attacks against Israelis since Friday.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces sealed the home of Khairy Alqam, a Palestinian who killed seven Israelis outside a building used as a synagogue in the settlement of Neve Yaakov in occupied East Jerusalem on Friday.

Israeli forces are expected to demolish the Alqam family home. Witnesses saw Israeli forces on the property after they blocked its entrances, with Palestinians clearing out their belongings. Security forces have detained 42 members of Alqam's family since the incident. 

Israel routinely demolishes the homes of Palestinians who kill Israelis.
