"The Chinese are universally conceded to be excellent people, honest, honorable, industrious, trustworthy, kind-hearted, and all that--leave them alone, they are plenty good enough just as they are; and besides, almost every convert runs a risk of catching our civilization. We ought to be careful. We ought to think twice before we encourage a risk like that; for, once civilized, China can never be uncivilized again. We have not been thinking of that." -- Mark Twain
Taking a significant stride towards the surveillance state, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) disclosed its plans to back a colossal health endeavor with a hefty sum of over $260 million. The objective is an unprecedented aggregation of individual and community data leading to a predictive model. However, some critics contend that the initiative entails a serious threat of potential misuse.
The colossal investment targets at setting up a wide-ranging “public-private” network. Harnessing the prowess of artificial intelligence (AI), the sophisticated overlay of technology will assimilate unprecedented amounts of data and engender algorithms that anticipate disease outbreaks. These intricate and futuristic models with predictive abilities could then guide local, state, and national cohorts in establishing suitable “control measures” for disease outbreaks.
The plan unveiled last week reports about an estimated funding of $262.5 million spread over five years that aims at creating 13 forecasting and analytics centers for infectious diseases across the U.S. This network will channelize the coordinated effort to predict and control disease outbreaks.
The United States Supreme Court has agreed to review the legitimacy of two landmark laws from Texas and Florida aimed at preventing tech giants from censoring content posted on their platforms. This decision has been rightly hailed as potentially resulting in a pivotal constitutional judgment on how the rights enshrined in the First Amendment apply to tech dominions in an increasingly digital world.
Undeniably, social media platforms and tech companies have morphed into modern-day gatekeepers of information flow, with an immense capability to influence global dialogues. The legislations enacted by Texas and Florida in 2021, specifically Texas House Bill 20 (HB 20) and Florida Senate Bill 7072 (SB 7072), strive to curb such unmonitored power and have rightly been celebrated as harbingers of accountability in the virtual world. Both pieces of legislation afford users the legal means to challenge allegations of political censorship by social media platforms, which has sparked passionate debate on the fine line between moderating content for the sake of propriety and downright censoring diverse opinions.
Suffice to say, should these laws pass the supreme scrutiny, they could serve as blueprints for similar legislation in other states, underscoring the urgent need to prevent technocratic monopolies from suppressing innovative and differing viewpoints.
Last year Sweden witnessed its highest death toll from shootings on record, at more than 60 killed, with this year on track to possibly surpass that as the country’s gang violence continues spiraling out of control.
At a moment scenes of illegal migrants flooding southern Europe from across the Mediterranean continue unabated, even mainstream publications like FT haven’t hesitated to identify what’s fueling the crime and turning Sweden’s streets into war zones: “Police chiefs have said that Sweden is facing its most serious domestic security situation since the second world war as immigrant drug gangs engage in a bloody conflict,” FT writes.
And there’s even “child soldiers” in the heart of Scandinavian Europe: “Police believe the gangs are increasingly using children to commit the crimes, as those under 18 often go unpunished or receive low sentences from the courts.”

Americans will soon be able to add shrimp to the list of high-risk meat products getting slipped into the increasingly toxic United States food supply, thanks to an Israeli company that just raised $8.25 million from a group of venture capitalists to start administering oral, RNA-based "vaccine" drugs to the marine life food chain.
Since shrimp are bottom feeders, everything that eats them, including humans, will end up intaking these RNA chemicals through the muscle tissue, or meat, of these animals. Once ViAqua, as the Israeli venture capital operation calls itself, gets its RNA-based vaccine product into ocean life as planned, Americans and the world will have one less safe meat product to consume.
According to reports, ViAqua's RNA-based vaccine, which is still in development, uses ribonucleic acid interference (RNAi) to manipulate the genetic profile of shrimp, essentially turning the sea creatures into living genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
This is an evolving guide with emerging information on how to clear viral and vaccine-induced spike proteins from the body. The lists of herbal and other medicines and supplements have been compiled in a collaboration between international doctors, scientists, and holistic medical practitioners.
On Saturday, Jessica Mann, the lawyer representing Dayjia Blackwell, also known as "Meatball," claimed that the media criticism of her client live-streaming herself and others looting in Philadelphia was racist.
In an open letter to the media posted on her Instagram account, Mann wrote, "I write this open letter with a profound sense of outrage and frustration over the unjust portrayal of my client, Dayjia Blackwell."

Ivan Dodosov, a tank battalion commander, recently awarded the title of Hero of Russia, has been fighting to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics since February 2022. But it was the creative thinking and level-headedness his group demonstrated during the tank duel near the town of Popasnaya, that covered his unit in glory. They achieved the impossible, breaking through the enemy’s defences that had been considered impenetrable.
The conflict in Ukraine may lead to World War III because of the “idiots” occupying leading roles in the West, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has warned.
“The number of high-ranking morons is rising in NATO member states,” he wrote on Telegram on Sunday. Medvedev, who currently serves as the deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, was responding to statements from London and Berlin the previous day.
The former president labeled the UK’s newly appointed Defense Secretary Grant Shapps a “freshly minted cretin” over his idea of sending British military instructors to Ukraine to train local troops for the conflict with Russia.
If this happens, the UK servicemen would become a “legitimate target” for Russian forces, Medvedev warned.
Scores of UK retail leaders have written a letter to the government, sounding the alarm about rising crime levels targeting their businesses, including abuse of retail workers and shoplifting.
The letter's signatories were 88 British retail leaders, including the bosses of Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Marks & Spencer retail stores, who pleaded with Home Secretary Suella Braverman to take a decisive action to curb this phenomenon.
The letter came after the British Retail Consortium (BRC) said its 2023 crime survey shows that incidents of violence and abuse towards retail workers have almost doubled compared with pre-COVID levels to hit 867 incidents every day in 2021 and 2022.
The consortium urged mayors, police, and crime commissioners across the UK to improve retail workers’ protection measures.
The US occupation forces used dozens of tankers to smuggle a new consignment of crude oil from the country’s northeastern province of Hasakah to their bases in northern Iraq last week, footage shows.
The convoy of tankers, as seen in the footage, looted Syrian oil from the city of Qamishli in Hasakah through the Semalka border crossing into Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
“New footage from 26 September [is] showing a US convoy, roughly 2 kilometers long, looting Syrian oil near Qamishli, moving east towards the Semalka border crossing and heading for Iraqi Kurdistan,” said the online news magazine The Cradle in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Fewer Europeans fully back the continued financial and humanitarian support of Ukraine by the European Union than at the start of the conflict, the latest Eurobarometer data revealed.
The collection of pan-European public opinion surveys conducted regularly on behalf of the bloc showed support is waning among EU citizens for the conflict in their own backyard, which continues to show few signs of easing.
In April last year, a majority of Europeans said they “totally agreed” with opening the borders for Ukrainian refugees, providing humanitarian aid to those who remained in the war-torn country, and imposing economic sanctions against Russia following its invasion of Ukraine two months prior.
However, a mood check in August 2023 shows none of these efforts now have the total support of a majority of EU citizens.
Those who fully approve of providing humanitarian support to people affected by the war have dropped from 64 percent in April last year to 47 percent. Support for welcoming Ukrainian refugees into the European Union has decreased from 55 percent to 36 percent, while unequivocal support for the continuation of economic sanctions against Moscow has dropped from 55 percent to 46 percent.
Update (1146ET): House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Sunday responded to a threat by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to oust him from the Speakershp, telling CBS News' "Face The Nation" that it's "personal" for the Florida lawmaker.
"That’s nothing new, he’s tried to do that from the moment I ran for office," said McCarthy, adding "I’ll survive, you know this is personal with Matt."
"Matt voted against the most conservative bill to protect our border…secure border," McCarthy continued.
Pursuant to its responsibilities in the BRICS community as well as its own national goals, it is believed China has taken the position it must finally internationalize its currency more. Until recently, internationalization of the Yuan was a non-starter in China. Yet, as of June 2023, the PBOC began taking public steps to make the Yuan internationally ready.
With RMB liberalization, comes risk of predation. China will, either implicitly or explicitly back its currency at least partially with Gold as a bridge off the USD and to assuage fears of its BRICS counterparts. This is consistent with behaviors surrounding the BRICS summit and their desire to create a kind of BW3 agreement for regional natural resource trade sans the USD.
If you want to see the real poison at play in the methodology of deconstruction, look at it in the context of illegal and mass immigration in the western world. Deconstruction argues, essentially, that any truth can be broken down into various parts and reassembled to express a completely different meaning. Therefore, there is no truth, only the way in which people are taught to perceive the various pieces of the truth, and that can be changed with the right kind of conditioning.
In the case of illegal immigration, western populations are being taught that the chaos and instability they are witnessing is actually an "opportunity" for them to turn the other cheek and embrace the virtue of victimhood. Simply accept that the mass migration of incompatible cultures is going to happen, look at it as a gift which allows you to spend your hard earned labor and accomplishments giving charity to people who only showed up on the promise of free handouts, and then you won't have to be angry about it any longer.
California Governor Gavin Newsom will reportedly appoint Laphonza Butler, the president of far-left EMILY’s List, to replace Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in the U.S. Senate after Feinstein passed away last week.
Politico broke the news on Sunday evening, which comes after Feinstein died Thursday night at 90 years old, noting that the appointment comes “without putting limitations or preconditions on his pick running for the seat in 2024.” This means that Butler can join the existing field of contenders for the party’s nominee in 2024.
The current contenders for the 2024 include Democrat Reps. Katie Porter, Adam Schiff and Barbara Lee.
On Sunday, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) told CNN's Jake Tapper that he plans to move to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy from his post later this week.
The move is the result of months of tense back-and-forth between the two Republicans. Gaetz, a hardline conservative, originally refused to support McCarthy's bid for Speaker in January.
One of the concessions McCarthy agreed to in January lowered the threshold for filing a so-called motion to vacate — a move to evict the speaker — to one House member.
“I do intend to file a motion to vacate against Speaker McCarthy this week,” Gaetz (R-Fla) said. “I think we need to rip off the band aid. I think we need to move on with new leadership that can be trustworthy.”
o, you're a new gun owner. Congratulations! Welcome to the shooting world. I think you'll find us an interesting bunch, and we're glad to have you. Even if it seems a bit mystifying at first, there's plenty of information out there, including tons of great articles right here on The Mag Life Blog. But before you dive into those many rabbit holes, take a few minutes to think about gun safety. Shooting is great fun, but it is also inherently dangerous, so safety is paramount. Its importance literally cannot be overstated.
This article will discuss basic firearm safety principles. If they seem simple and common sense, that's because they are. As with any activity, fundamentals are the firm foundation upon which everything else is built. If you practice these fundamental safety measures until they become second nature, chances are that you will enjoy many years of safe shooting. If not, well, you're better off choosing another hobby.
Unlike some other sports, a single lapse when handling a firearm can kill you or someone else. I'm not trying to bring you down or discourage you, but you must understand the crucial nature of proper safety practices. Fortunately, they aren't difficult, but they do require conscientious application and strict discipline. So, let's get into it.
As evidence continues to pour in of what appears to be a worldwide Biden family influence-peddling scheme, investigators in the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden have now subpoenaed the personal bank accounts of Biden's brother and son.
U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issued three subpoenas for personal and business bank records of Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden and younger brother James.
Both Hunter and James Biden have received lavish payments and executive positions from global corporations and foreign governments, despite having no experience in the fields in which they were employed.
It is alleged that Joe Biden himself either arranged the payments, or
“From day one of our investigation of Joe Biden's abuse of public office, we've followed the money and that continues with today's subpoenas for Hunter and James Biden's bank records. Bank records don't lie, and coupled with witness testimony, they reveal that Joe Biden abused his public office for his family's financial gain,” said Comer.
“The financial records obtained to date reveal a pattern where the Bidens sold access to Joe Biden around the world to enrich the Biden family. As the Bidens were sealing deals around the world, Joe Biden showed up, met with, talked with, shook hands with, and had meetings with the foreign nationals sending money to his family. This culture of corruption demands further investigation,” Comer added.

A SoCal doctor was charged with stealing $150 million from the Federal Covid Program. Anthony Hao Dinh, 64, of Newport Coast, is alleged to have stolen the money through filing false claims for reimbursement under the Covid Uninsured Program. His alleged fraudulent claims were from July 2020 to March 2021.
The Department of Health and Human Services allows doctors to submit claim reimbursements if the patient did not have insurance and got a Covid vaccine or was tested and treated for the virus.
An arrest ongun possession charges in Queens, New York, in November 2021 has led the Federal Bureau of Investigation to a pedophilic, Satanist extortion cult that has victimized dozens if not hundreds of minors, according to law enforcement documents, court records and sources with knowledge of the investigation.
Law enforcement discovered the organization, known as 764 and a range of aliases, while investigating alarming social media posts made by Angel Almeida, a 23-year-oldresident of Astoria, Queens.
On 12 September 2023,the FBI issued a public warning about 764, noting the group is “deliberately targeting minor victims on publicly available messaging platforms to extort them into recording or livestreaming acts of self-harm and producing child sexual abuse material”. The advisory is the first formal mention of 764 by any American law enforcement agency.
The group appears to target children between the ages of eight and 17, the advisory notes, and particularly focuses on young people of color, youth identifying as LGBTQ+ or youth who struggle with mental health issues. Researchers familiar with 764 indicate the group’s members cultivate ties with minors through a wide range of platforms: either in wildly popular games like Roblox or gaming communications platforms like Discord and Twitch, as well as curated playlists on the streaming service SoundCloud. The group’s main form of communication is on Telegram, which has long been the platform of choice for many far-right extremists.

Tyree Smith, a brain-eating cannibal, was released from a Bridgeport, Connecticut psych ward 50 years earlier than his scheduled release date for ‘good behavior’ even though he previously told his psychiatrist he wanted to eat her flesh.
“Tyree Smith is an individual with a psychiatric illness requiring care, custody and treatment,” the board stated in its report this week. “Since his last hearing Tyree Smith has continued to demonstrate clinical stability. Mr. Smith is medication compliant, actively engaged in all recommended forms of treatment, and has been symptom-free for many years.”
Smith, who was 36 at the time, was sentenced to 60 years in a psych ward in September 2013 (effectively a life sentence) after a jury found him not guilty of murder by way of insanity.
A self-proclaimed "anti-racist" and Black Lives Matter supporter was allegedly beaten to death in her own home in Baltimore on September 25, Monday, by a previously imprisoned black male who is now roaming freely because a leftist district attorney released him on "good-time credits."
The nonsensical stance on illegal aliens by the Biden administration has struck again in the Lone Star State.
