Four months in, Netanyahu’s war of annihilation against Gaza has become a guerrilla war of attrition. Not a single Israeli hostage has been freed through military force, and Hamas has shown an enduring resilience and ability to pick off Israel Defense Forces soldiers. The Israeli public, outside of the ideological true believers intent on occupying and settlingOpens in a new tab Gaza, is showing signs of fatigue and desperation. Many family members of captives are growing louder Opens in a new tab in their demands for an immediate deal with Hamas that centers the lives of their loved ones over the political agenda laid out by Netanyahu and his clique. Some have demandedOpens in a new tab new elections or Netanyahu’s resignation Opens in a new tab. Protests against the war, though small, are beginning to grow inside Israel, with some demonstrationsechoing global calls demanding a humanitarian ceasefire and an end to Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory.

As the death toll in Gaza surpasses a conservative estimate of 27,000 lives, many of the core narratives deployed by the Israeli and U.S. governments to justify the slaughter are coming under increased scrutiny; some have been definitively debunked. In Israel, this is a delicate line of inquiry. That Hamas killed large numbers of Israelis is not in doubt. But how they managed to do so while living under the lauded and vigilant eyes of the Mossad, Shin Bet, the Israeli Security Agency, and the IDF is the subject of mounting public attention.

There have been several credible reports that Israeli intelligence analysts warned that Hamas operatives appeared to be training for raids into Israel. The New York Times and other outlets have reported Opens in a new tab on the existence of a 40-page internal Hamas document code-named “Jericho Wall.” Purportedly obtained by Israeli intelligence, it is said to lay out detailed plans by Hamas to conduct precisely the type of assault against Israeli military installations and villages that occurred on October 7.

While warnings from Israeli analysts who reviewed the document were reportedly brushed aside by senior officials, last July a signals intelligence officer urged the chain of command to take it seriously. Noting a recent daylong training exercise by Hamas in Gaza, the analyst asserted that the training precisely mirrored the operations laid out in the document. “It is a plan designed to start a war,” she pleadedOpens in a new tab. “It’s not just a raid on a village.”

Claire's Observations:  The Israeli government knew this was going to happen long before it did, and allowed it to happen, as a pretext for killing as many Palestinians as they think they can get away with, through direct execution; disease; and famine.  And what is deeply disconnected about what they are saying versus what they are doing, is the following; if Hamas is really the Israeli "target", why are the overwhelming numbers of Palestinians killed, or maimed for life, women and children, and not the male members of Hamas or Fatah?!?

Western mainstream media isn’t what it used to be. Some 20 years ago, US regime propagandists lied the United States into the Iraq War with ease. Saddam Hussein was "Hitler," we were told. He wanted to conquer the world. He was making nukes. Americans bought the story unquestioningly.

Such has not been the case with the latest war effort. Americans are intensely divided. Congress is unable to pass requisite funding. And the US proxy regime is failing on the battlefield. Increasingly, it seems the propagandists in Washington and Langley are no longer up to the task.

Amidst the collective Western freakout that journalist Tucker Carlson will share his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin and provide Western audiences the opportunity to hear the unfiltered message of the US enemy du jour, analyst Steve Poikonen joined Sputnik’s The Critical Hour program Wednesday to discuss the sad state of affairs.

Rishi Sunak has not ruled out Boris Johnson returning to the Cabinet as he revealed that they still speak.

The former pals ran against each other in the Tory leadership contest following the resignation of Liz Truss. In an interview with ITV ’s Tonight programme, Mr Sunak was asked if he misses the ex-PM and would have him back as a Cabinet minister.

When pushed on whether he’d have Mr Johnson back, he said: "Well, I never talk about these personnel things, but look, I, you know, I speak to him on occasion." Asked when he last spoke to him, he said: "I can't remember, probably late last year."

All’s fair in love and war – this  is a 500-year old English proverb but it isn’t in the Geneva conventions on war crimes and genocide, much as the US and US-backed Israel claim it is.

In the war of US, NATO and their Asian allies against Russia, it is turning out that almost all the major companies on the enemy side love Russia too much to leave.

They also think Russia has won the war, so they are convinced — the executive managers,  boards of directors, control shareholders, and bankers — that there is no point in leaving. So they continue to do business in the Russian market profitably, while they wait for the military defeat of the Ukraine and their own governments to register, and the terms of capitulation allow them to tell their shareholders, “we told you so.”

That notice will be delivered with a dividend paid out of the profits the companies continue to earn from their Russian businesses. The shareholders will be satisfied with both; they will vote their confidence, with a bonus, for the chief executive and board at the next Annual General Meeting.

Two studies on the enemy side, one by the Kiev School of Economy’s (KSE) “Leave Russia”  and “SelfSanctions” projects, and a follow-up by the Russian-language publication Novaya Gazeta Europa have reported results of their surveys of 110 international firms working in Russia. This is fresh evidence of the defeat of the enemy in the economic war — from the foxhole of the enemy.

The survey results demonstrate that after two years of intense pressure and threat campaigns by the US, NATO and the Ukraine for the companies to wind up their Russian businesses and leave  Russia, the outcome is defeat.

Throughout the night and early morning of February 7, Russian drones and missiles struck military and industrial facilities in Ukraine. In addition to missiles launched from Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 and Su-34 aircraft, kamikaze drones were also involved in the attack. According to Ukrainian monitoring sources, Kalibr cruise missiles were also launched by the Russian Navy from the Black Sea.

The combined attack was one of the most powerful in recent times. Russian air, sea and ground-based missiles, backed by Geran UAVs simultaneously entered into the airspace of Ukraine and effectively passed through the Ukrainian air defense.

At night, Russian strikes mainly targeted Ukrainian facilities in the eastern and central parts of Ukraine. The targets were hit in the city of Novomoskovsk in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in Uman in the Cherkassy region. Russian forces also attacked airfields and other military installations in the Kirovograd region.

Russia is warning about the risk of an armed confrontation on the Korean Peninsula amid the unprecedented military activity by United States and its allies in this subregion, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told TASS.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has warned the United States and South Korea that Pyongyang would destroy their capitals if they opt for a military confrontation with his country.

In this context, the senior Russian diplomat said that he doesn’t rule out the risk of a direct armed confrontation on the Korean Peninsula.

"The Russian side has repeatedly rung the alarm bell about the dramatic escalation of tension and growing risks of a direct military confrontation on the Korean Peninsula. The North Korean leader’s warning should be considered through the prism of the unprecedented military activity by the United States and its allies in the subregion," he stressed.

Russia's Foreign Ministry has warned that the spiral of escalation over Western deliveries of long-range missiles to Ukraine may get out of control, Vladimir Yermakov, the director of the Foreign Ministry's Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Department, has told TASS in an interview.

"The range of missiles being supplied to Ukraine is steadily increasing. The countries making such deliveries should be aware of the inevitable consequences such steps may entail for their own security. We have repeatedly emphasized that the escalating spiral being spun by the West may at some point get out of control," Yermakov warned.

He pointed out no other NATO country apart from the United States had ground-based intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles.

At this year’s annual World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos, Moderna head Stephane Bancel admitted to CNBC that he ordered his staff to start mass producing “vaccines” for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) in late 2019, just a few months before the so-called “virus” even emerged.

After previously claiming that he first heard about covid in January 2020, Bancel now says he knew a coronavirus was on the way and that Moderna needed to start manufacturing injections for the upcoming “billion dollar” pandemic that he somehow knew was coming.

“When the [COVID] pandemic happened, Moderna had made a hundred thousand doses in 2019 for the whole year,” the CEO told the fake financial media outlet.

“And I remember walking after those into the office of my other manufacturing and I say, ‘How we make [sic] a billion dollars next year?’ And they look at me a bit funny and say, ‘What?’ And I say, ‘Yeah, we need to make a billion dollars next year; there’s going to be a pandemic.’”

An agency of the federal government “flagged” Bible purchases as an indication of “extremism” in communications with banks following the events of January 6, 2021.

“We now know the federal government flagged terms like ‘MAGA’ and ‘TRUMP,’ to financial institutions if Americans completed transactions using those terms,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH, wrote on X. “What was also flagged? If you bought a religious text, like a BIBLE, or shopped at Bass Pro Shop.”

Jordan serves as the chairman of both the House Judiciary Committee and the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

He detailed the Committee and Select Subcommittee’s findings in a January 17 letter to former Director of the Office of Stakeholder Integration and Engagement in the Strategic Operations Division of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) Noah Bishoff.

More reports are emerging about the various forms in which the Big Tech/government collusion is taking place in the US.

It’s not just directly pressuring, or “communicating with” – as current White House officials like to put it, social sites; reports are now emerging about companies getting hired to make massive databases of supposedly unlawful speech that are compiled thanks to users effectively spying and reporting on each other on messaging platforms like WhatsApp.

Former State Department official, now executive director of Foundation For Freedom Online, Mike Benz, calls this “a snitch network of citizen informants.” Information thus obtained is then analyzed using some form of AI, resulting in identification of “misinformation trends.

In December 2023, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and a major Ukrainian railway company signed an agreement for the construction of a 75-kilometer section of the European-gauge railway. The railroad will be part of a larger trans-European project (Mediterranean Corridor) starting in southern Spain and finishing in Lvov.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev believes that Lvov is set to become Ukraine's new capital city.

His conclusion is based on the fact that a new USAID-Ukraine project for the construction of a railway connecting the EU and Ukraine has Lvov and not Kiev as its endpoint.

According to Medvedev, business sometimes reacts to unraveling geopolitical developments more quickly and pragmatically than politicians, and much can be understood from the project details and their reasons.

Recently, Elon Musk accused President Biden and Democrats of wanting the border crisis. He claimed that Democrats allowed over 6 million illegal aliens, so that they can give them amnesty and use them to establish a “one-party state.”

Plenty of people criticized Musk’s claims. As usual, they called him and others who agreed “conspiracy theorists.”

Now, Musk’s critics might be rethinking their attacks, after what President Biden just said. As the border remains open, with millions of outsiders invading, he made this demand. And it seems to be proving Musk right.

From Daily Wire:
President Joe Biden demanded on Tuesday that the illegal aliens already in the United States, including the millions who have entered during his administration, be given a pathway to citizenship so they can become Americans…

President Joe Biden has often been criticized for his tendency to tailor his speeches to his audience, a trait that was on full display during a recent event at the White House in recognition of Black History Month.

Critics argue that Biden's approach often borders on pandering, as he tends to share personal anecdotes or experiences that he believes will resonate with the specific group he is addressing.

For instance, during events with African American attendees, Biden has been known to reference his upbringing in black churches. When addressing firefighters, he often recounts a near-tragic incident where his house almost burned down, threatening his beloved Corvette, his wife, and their cat. And if the topic of trains arises, Biden is likely to bring up his alleged encounters with Angelo Negri, despite inconsistencies in his account of these interactions.

At the Black History Month event, Biden's critics argue that he resorted to a familiar trope: the "I have a black friend" approach. During his speech, Biden praised Vice President Kamala Harris, stating, "We are really fortunate to have a real leader, a true friend, and an historic vice president, Kamala Harris." He then held Harris's hand and added, "I not only asked him (??) to join me, I love her. Hehehe. It's a good relationship; she's doing an incredible job."

Over the last several years we have seen commercial real estate values plummet dramatically all over the United States.  One of the reasons why this is happening is because millions of Americans started working from home during the pandemic, and many of them never returned to the office once the pandemic subsided.  Another reason why this is happening is because there has been a mass exodus of businesses from our core urban areas.  Conditions have rapidly deteriorated in many of our largest cities, and it is exceedingly difficult to run a profitable business in the midst of an environment of constant theft and violence.  Ultimately, it is very easy to understand why commercial real estate values have crashed, and they will almost certainly go even lower.
