When Israel killed twins in front of their father

Doaa Shaheen The Electronic Intifada

Israel’s attack on Nuseirat has been compared to “the gates of hell [being] opened” by one witness.

Samer Walid was eating a meal given to his family in food aid when the sounds of gunfire started coming from all directions.

A moment later, he heard shelling and a series of missiles being dropped on particular locations. Fire belts – as they are known in Gaza.

As he tried to calm down his children, Samer asked Rehab, his wife, to grab some essentials so that they could flee their home in Nuseirat refugee camp.

They did not have time to do so. Suddenly, Israeli soldiers attacked his house.

“They were heavily armed, with their faces covered,” Samer said.

“And they were screaming in Hebrew, which I couldn’t understand,” he added. “They shot me and I collapsed to the floor.”

The forces then killed Samer’s twin sons Yazan and Omar, 12.

“They were shot dead in front of me,” he said. “In cold blood.”

“I was unable to help them,” he added. “I was bleeding.”

“The ambulance crews were unable to reach us because the bombing was continuing. We were trapped in the house for two hours, soaked in our blood.”

The soldiers locked his wife Rehab and two of their other children in a room. The soldiers then made a hole in the wall of the house and went through it into an adjacent building.

Rehab recalled how she was locked in the room throughout the massacre. After everything had gone silent, she forced her way out of the room by breaking the door.

When she found Samer and the bodies of the twins on the floor, “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” she said.

In a state of shock, Rehab went onto the street barefoot.

“All the neighbors’ houses were destroyed,” she said. “Everyone was running away and screaming.”

A large number of corpses could be seen on the ground.

“I saw burnt bodies and I saw bodies sliced to bits,” she said. “And I saw my neighbor carrying her son in her arms, without his head.”

A man on the street agreed to bring Samer and the twins to hospital on an animal-drawn cart.

When they arrived at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the nearby city of Deir al-Balah, it was confirmed that the twins were dead.

More than 270 Palestinians were killed by Israel in its 8 June attack on Nuseirat refugee camp. Yazan and Omar were among them.

“They were not guilty of anything,” Rehab said. “They loved life and wanted to be engineers when they grew up.”

Right-wing Austrian political party FPÖ wants to appoint a ‘Remigration Commissioner’ who will oversee the deportation of illegal immigrants.

The Freedom Party of Austria won the EU elections after obtaining 25.4 per cent of the vote and gaining 3 seats, marking the first time that the FPÖ has emerged as the strongest political party in the country.

When asked why they were voting for FPÖ, 62% of FPO supporters stated that they “wanted to make a statement on domestic policy.”

That includes addressing Austria’s problem with illegal immigration, which authorities have taken a tougher stance on over the last year.

Now the Freedom Party is demanding the right to appoint MP Dr. Susanne Fürst to take the role of ‘remigration commissioner’ in order to accelerate the deportation of criminal migrants.

Claire's Observations:  The 55 year old Furst, a lawyer, has been an FPO member of the National Council since 2017; And here is how Wikipedia.com defines this party: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Party_of_Austria

And although some of the derogatory descriptions, may be a little extreme,  the problems illegal immigration bring, are also.... extreme, and there is no amount of "hopium/changium" the German government can possibly ingest, to change this.

When you have an immigrant population which considers immigration a right, and not a privilege, your country will be in trouble.

When you have an immigrant population which believes their religion and government structure is so superior to that in the country which has adopted them, that they are demonstrating in favor of a caliphate, as happened in Germany recently, https://nypost.com/2024/04/29/world-news/protesters-call-for-islamic-state-in-germany-caliphate-is-the-solution/ your country is in trouble.  And if caliphates are so great, why did these people, and/or their ancestors, leave their home countries, where there are MANY caliphates?!?

When you have defenseless native-born kids getting beat up, because of their choices in clothing, or their religion, if it is NOT Muslim, your country is in trouble.

When you have illegal migrants bringing in diseases your country which medical professionals thought they had conquered, decades ago, your country is in trouble.

When you have illegal migrants establishing a flourishing illegal drug trade in major cities, and boosting gang activities, your country is in trouble.

I am neither right  nor left wing;  I'm just an American gal who wants to see the best for ALL our citizens.  But this cannot happen without intelligent border controls,  about which this current regime, doesn't give a bloody flying Frisbee.

The illegals flooding our non-existent borders, most probably couldn't make it in their countries of origin, so they come here for getting "baby -sat" to the tune of trillions of dollars.  They will need to be fed; housed; given an education;  and cared for medically; how much is this supposed to be paid by the already tapped-out US taxpayers?!?!?   ALL of it, my dears; you're on the hook, with utterly no say in how and when it will stop.

But as in Germany, it must stop, because it is destroying our way of life, and quality of life.

A senior official of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has warned the Israeli regime of a “decisive” response in case of expanding the scope of its war on Lebanese soil.

Sheikh Naim Qassem, deputy secretary-general of Hezbollah, issued the warning in a ceremony in the capital Beirut on Friday as fire exchanges between the Lebanese resistance movement and Israeli troops intensified over the week following the targeted killing of a senior Hezbollah commander in the country’s south.

Sami Abdallah, better known by the nom the guerre Abu Taleb, was killed along with three other people in the Israeli strikes that targeted a residential building in the southern Lebanese town of Jwaya on Tuesday.

Sheikh Qassem said the Lebanese resistance had struck several sites in the occupied territories in retaliation for Abdallah’s assassination, and would also respond to any expansion of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, no matter how limited.

The resistance movement, he said, “targeted barracks, military personnel, and combat sites within a distance of between three and five kilometers and avoided targeting civilians” and engaging in direct military action.

Paula Scanlan, a one-time teammate of Lia Thomas, said that she deserves an apology for being "forced to undress" in the same locker room as the transgender swimmer "18 times a week" while they were swimmers at the University of Pennsylvania.

Her comments on X came after news broke that Thomas, 25, lost her case against World Aquatics at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), in a decision that will keep her from having a chance at competing at the Paris Olympics, which start on July 26, reported the Daily Mail.

Thomas was the first transgender NCAA champion in Division I history, but after that, World Aquatics voted to restrict transgender athletes from participating in elite women's events. Scanlan, in her post, referred to Thomas as "him" while asking if anyone would apologize for Thomas' presence in locker rooms.

The Stanford Internet Observatory is the narrative curation outfit at Stanford University that reportedly worked hand-in-glove with the Biden administration and social media organizations to flag and clamp down on undesired speech, especially regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 election.

Despite having proven their value to the powers that be, the key players at the SIO have recently abandoned ship. The newsletter Platformer, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, revealed this week that ship is now all but sunk.

The head actuaries for Social Security and Medicare have testified before a House committee about looming financial challenges which could see funds run short by 2035

Social Security relies on its trust funds to provide monthly benefit checks to around 70 million Americans.

But an aging population is pushing up the cost of the program as a smaller share of people are paying into it, and spending is outpacing income.

This means that if the funding gap is not resolved by Congress, future beneficiaries could receive $325 less per month. Medicare is also projected to run dry in 2036.

Middle East Monitor reports: Israel has committed more than 3,300 massacres against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip since 7 October, claiming the lives of about 40,000 victims, a majority of them women and children, the government media office (GMO) in Gaza has said.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the GMO warned that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are suffering from starvation, famine and thirst, especially in Gaza city and northern Gaza governorates as a result of closing all Crossings to the area and limiting the number of aid trucks allowed to enter.

The statement stressed that Israel’s use of starvation, thirst and denial of medical care as a weapon during this barbaric aggression constitutes an aggravated war crime and a genocide, in flagrant violation of international laws and in disregard of all relevant calls, demands and resolutions.

The Vires Law Group, in conjunction with the Edward L. Tarpley, Jr., APLC and bolstered by the support of the Former Feds Group Freedom Foundation, has announced the submission of criminal referral requests to the District Attorneys of nine Louisiana parishes.

The referrals call for the initiation of criminal investigations against Dr. Anthony Fauci, Deborah “Scarf Lady” Birx, Rochelle Walensky, Peter Daszak, and other public health officials for alleged crimes committed against Louisiana citizens preceding and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The parishes of Caddo, East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, St. Tammany, Orleans, Lafayette, Lafouche, Tangipahoa, and Rapides are the focus of these 30-page criminal referrals, detailing accusations that have stunned the local communities, according to the press release.

Funded by contributions from entities like the Diamond Mind Foundation and the Fight Like A Flynn PAC, this legal action raises significant questions about the conduct of public health officials during one of the most devastating health crises of our time.

Attorneys Rodriguez, Miller, and Tarpley have requested that the District Attorneys refer these cases to Attorney General Liz Murrill for further investigation and potential charges.

These referrals are made on behalf of next-of-kin relatives of nine victims in Louisiana who have sought legal assistance in investigating the deaths of their loved ones.

A Democrat prosecutor from Georgia has launched a massive criminal suit against Trump and his former allies. Fani Willis has alleged Trump tried to “steal” the 2020 Election using a RICO scheme. But Willis’ plans hit a curveball when she was outed for questionable behavior.

Willis was criticized for hiring her secret lover and paying him more than other investigators. Their relationship raised serious ethics concerns, prompting a hearing.

Willis could be ejected from the case she started against Trump. Her attempts at convicting Trump before this year’s election don’t look good, and she might even be disbarred for her actions. So, in a desperate move, she is begging the court to save her skin.

From The Post Millennial:
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s Office filed a motion in Georgia’s Appeal Court on Wednesday to throw out former President Donald Trump’s motion to remove Willis from his Georgia 2020 election case, the New York Post reports.

Vladimir Putin has issued another chilling warning to the West, saying its ‘selfishness and hypocrisy’ has led to a ‘dangerous turn of events’ and brought the world ‘close to a point of no return’.

Speaking to foreign ministry officials, the Kremlin leader said: ‘Calls to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, which possesses the largest arsenal of nuclear weapons demonstrate the extreme recklessness of Western politicians.

‘They either do not understand the scale of the threat they are creating – or are simply obsessed with their own sense of impunity and exceptionalism.

‘Both can lead to tragedy.’

Putin also warned that plans by Western countries to provide Ukraine with loans using interest from Russian assets frozen abroad was theft and would not go unpunished.

‘Despite all the chicanery, theft will certainly remain theft. And it will not go unpunished,’ he said.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. military launched a secret campaign to counter what it perceived as China’s growing influence in the Philippines, a nation hit especially hard by the deadly virus.

The clandestine operation has not been previously reported. It aimed to sow doubt about the safety and efficacy of vaccines and other life-saving aid that was being supplied by China, a Reuters investigation found. Through phony internet accounts meant to impersonate Filipinos, the military’s propaganda efforts morphed into an anti-vax campaign. Social media posts decried the quality of face masks, test kits and the first vaccine that would become available in the Philippines – China’s Sinovac inoculation.

Reuters identified at least 300 accounts on X, formerly Twitter, that matched descriptions shared by former U.S. military officials familiar with the Philippines operation. Almost all were created in the summer of 2020 and centered on the slogan #Chinaangvirus – Tagalog for China is the virus.

Joe Biden has been rocked by legal decisions that don’t go in his favor. His failed policies have been shot down in the courts to the point his forehead must be numb from smacking it in frustration.

Biden doesn’t seem to learn his lesson even after his leftist pet projects fail upon judicial scrutiny. He appears to operate based on what he thinks will move the needle in his favor among voters.

A federal judge handed Biden another judicial slap in the face based on the president’s Education Department guidance. The president stepped into a legal battle over gender identity and sexual orientation and was met with a lawsuit from Texas.

From The Daily Wire:
A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that Texas did not have to follow guidance from the Biden administration which interpreted prohibitions against sex discrimination to include gender identity and sexual orientation.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will hear a challenge to Los Angeles’s Measure ULA, a November 2022 referendum aimed at taxing high-end property sales to fund affordable housing. The measure has not met its financial goals, prompting legal battles and criticism.

Measure ULA mandates a 4% tax on property sales exceeding $5 million and a 5.5% tax on sales over $10 million. The measure was expected to generate $900 million annually but has only raised $252.9 million so far, as reported by the city controller. Wealthy homeowners rushed to sell before the tax took effect, and high interest rates have also impacted revenue.

President Joe Biden lost his temper at a TikTok star during a special White House meeting with social media influencers, even threatening to throw his phone across the room.

Independent journalist and social media darling Jonathan M. Katz started recording Biden, pressing him about his support for Israel during the war in Gaza. He asked him what he would do to prevent the ‘genocide’ that was taking place with American-funded weapons.

The president tried to sidestep the questions, claiming he was working to reduce casualties in Gaza. But when Katz pressed him on the issue, the president grew impatient.

‘I know you’re a typical press guy, you’re grabbing me in front of all this … but I trust you about as far as I can throw your phone,’ Biden said angrily. ‘I have a good arm man. I can throw a long way.’
