The United States should be concerned over ensuring the transparency of its own electoral processes instead of meddling in Russia’s domestic affairs, according to a commentary published by the Russian Embassy in Washington on Friday.

"The State Department spokesperson Ned Price accused Russian authorities of widespread violations of the principles of free vote during the recent regional and municipal elections as well as persecution of opposition candidates and activists. We urge the administration to refer to the data released by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia and abstain from any unfounded statements. The United States would rather pay attention to the transparency of their own electoral processes instead of interfering with our internal affairs," the commentary posted on the embassy’s Telegram channel reads.

Earlier, CEC chief Ella Pamfilova said that following the elections, not a single complaint had been registered that could have impacted their results. Russia held elections for 15 top regional officials on September 9-11 (14 of them were direct elections, while the head of the Adygeya Republic was elected by its legislature). The other elections were for lawmakers of six regional legislatures, 12 city councils in regional capitals and deputies of local self-government bodies. Online voting was available in eight regions, including Moscow.

The West intended to demonstrate Russia’s "isolation" in a vote following Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s video address at the UN General Assembly yet failed, Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday.

"We managed to make many large developing states take our side, including BRICS members. Had it not been for the passivity of African and other developing countries who simply did not have time to receive directions from their capitals, the result or, at least, the score, would have been completely different," he noted.

The diplomat pointed out that the Ukrainians submitted the text to be voted on only one hour before the end of a workday counting that Russia and its allies wouldn’t have enough time to act. However, Belarus managed to introduce amendments supported by Russia which removed political issues and gave an opportunity to all countries who need it to present video addresses during next week.

A solar 'destruction event' earlier this year destroyed 38 of Elon Musk's Starlink satellites - costing his company tens of millions of dollars in losses.

SpaceX launched 49 its low-latency internet satellites into space from Florida's Kennedy Space Center on February 3 - seemingly without incident at first.

Around that same time, a massive wave of solar particles and radiation was washing over Earth.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and fellow California Democrat Jackie Speier will visit Armenia this weekend in a show of support for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Politico reported on Thursday citing sources familiar with the matter. The congressional visit comes shortly after border clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia resulted in over 170 deaths.

Pelosi is already in Germany, where she is attending the G7 Speakers’ Summit in Berlin in support of “Ukraine’s heroic fight” against Russia. According to Politico, she will fly out to Yerevan after the conference with Speier, who is Armenian-American.

Speier’s office has not commented on the report, while Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill told Politico they “don’t confirm or deny international travel in advance due to longstanding security protocols.”

Pelosi’s previous foreign trip was to Taipei in early August, undertaken against explicit warnings from Beijing. It inflamed tensions between the US and China over the status of Taiwan.

Exactly 15 years ago, a powerful car bomb exploded nearby while American diplomats were meeting with Iraqi officials in Baghdad. An evacuation of US State Department employees was being handled by Blackwater Security Consulting, a private military company (PMC). But what was supposed to be a routine operation resulted in a bloody massacre in the center of the Iraqi capital.

When a sniper spotted a suspicious white Kia driving on the wrong side of the road and ignoring the signals of police officers and the military team, he pulled the trigger as his colleagues set off stun grenades. The Kia burst into flames, killing the female driver, her adult son, and a nearby policeman who was trying to figure out what was going on.

This, however, was just the beginning. The mercenaries opened fire in all directions using heavy machine guns and grenade launchers, killing unarmed civilians in the process. The Iraqi police returned fire, which essentially resulted in armed street fighting. It was reported that one Blackwater guard kept shooting until his colleague pointed a weapon at him.

The Nisour Square massacre was one of the most prominent events of the US-Iraq conflict, raising doubts about America’s true intentions in the region. RT has asked experts to share their thoughts on what the incident meant for Washington’s Middle East policy and the likelihood of another tragedy like this.

Diplomatic relations between Russia and the West deteriorated to a post-Cold War low point after the start of the Ukrainian crisis in 2014, and have hinged on the brink of collapse since Moscow began a military special operation in Ukraine in February 2022.

The collective West has dreamt about and worked toward the collapse of Russia for many, many years, but will never live to see such a thing transpire, President Vladimir Putin has said.

"For decades, Western countries have consistently cultivated the idea of the collapse of the Soviet Union, historical [prerevolutionary] Russia, and Russia as it is, its core," Putin said, speaking to reporters on Friday at the conclusion of his visit to Samarkand, Uzbekistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Summit.

President Vladimir Putin on Friday brushed off a lightning Ukrainian counter-offensive but warned that Russia would respond more forcefully if its troops were put under further pressure.

Speaking after a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in the Uzbek city of Samarkand, Putin cast the invasion as a necessary step to prevent what he said was a Western plot to break Russia apart. Moscow, he said, was in no hurry in Ukraine.

And its goals remained unchanged.

The Kiev authorities announced that they have launched and are conducting an active counter-offensive operation.

“Well, let’s see how it develops, how it ends up,” Putin said.

Polish President Andrzej Duda should be prosecuted for his statement on war reparations from Russia, the chairman of the State Duma, Russia’s lower house of parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, said.

In an interview published on Thursday, Duda stated that while Germany started World War II and attacked Poland, Russia “joined this war later on.” Therefore, Warsaw “should demand reparations also from Russia,” the Polish leader claimed.

Volodin accused the Polish president of rehabilitating Nazism and of insulting the memory of those who “gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the Polish people.”

“Russian law provides criminal penalties for such statements. It is right for the supervisory authorities to study the comment of Andrzej Duda and take appropriate measures to bring him to criminal responsibility,” he wrote on Telegram.

Volodin also reminded of the high price the Soviet people paid for the liberation of the world from Nazism – 27 million dead.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg says that it is necessary for NATO member states to boost their arms production after having significantly depleted their weapons stockpiles by supplying arms to Ukraine.

Speaking in a CNN interview on Thursday, the NATO Secretary General praised the military bloc’s “unprecedented unity in the support to Ukraine,” but pointed out that NATO’s continued assistance to the beleaguered Eastern European nation following the Russian invasion has come at a significant cost to NATO member states.

He stated that the defense aid for Ukraine has until now been “taken from our existing stocks, so they are now running low.”

Stoltenberg warned that the alliance needs to prioritize replenishing the depleted stocks.

The Ukrainian President published a photograph on his social media channels showing one of his security escorts bearing a patch referencing the personal bodyguard unit of Adolf Hitler.

On September 13, Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelensky made a surprise trip to the city of Izyum in the Kharkov Region for a photo op following his military’s recapture of the town from Russian forces. During the visit, a soldier who appeared to be guarding Zelensky was photographed wearing a Nazi-inspired patch on his uniform.

When the image drew criticism on social media, the Ukrainian president’s official Telegram and Facebook accounts quietly deleted it.

Ukraine attempted terror attacks around Russian nuclear power plant and Russia will spare no effort to prevent negative developments, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.

"We see attempts at staging terror attacks even on Russia’s territory, including, I don’t know whether it was reported publicly, attempts at staging terror attacks if not at facilities but around our nuclear facilities, nuclear power plants in Russia," he told journalists.

"We see it and keep the situation under control," he stressed.

Don't say it too loudly, but Germany is on a war-like footing. It may not feel like it, because bombs aren't falling on German cities and German troops aren't fighting in other countries. Yet the fiscal response to the pandemic, climate change, and Russia's invasion of Ukraine has put Germany in a state of crisis.

Whether it's through efforts to save jobs, secure energy supply or rebuild its military, Germany is raising debt and splashing out billions in ways it has rarely done since World War II. As often happens in war, some goods have become scarce, and inflation is surging.

"It's hard, particularly in Germany, to say that word 'war,' but it's also important to say it and understand what it means," JD Bindenagel, a former senior US diplomat to Germany and now senior professor at Bonn University, told DW.

"The gas is hybrid warfare. The collateral damage is the inflation," he added, referring to Russia's throttling of its natural gas deliveries, on which Germany has long been dependent.

In what appears to be the latest instance of European Union bigwigs attacking the conservative-led state, the European Parliament has now declared that Hungary is “no longer a democracy”.

Hungary, an EU member-state, is “no longer a democracy” according to the European Parliament, with the assembly of the bureaucrat-led European Union — whose governing Commission cannot be held directly accountable by the general public — passing a symbolic resolution this week decrying the country as an authoritarian “hybrid state”.

It comes after the country’s Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán, achieved a landslide victory in the Hungarian general election earlier this year, despite a coalition of opposing parties encompassing liberal globalists, the far left, and the far right uniting with the sole aim of ousting the national conservative politician.

With this effort failing abysmally,  EU bigwigs have now taken to attacking the Orbán government as being anti-democratic, with the transnational bloc’s parliament being presented with a resolution on Thursday alleging that “there is increasing consensus among experts that Hungary is no longer a democracy” and that the country now exists as a “hybrid regime of electoral autocracy”.

Russian President Vladimir Putin took the West to task over its ‘economic egoism’ and illegal sanctions, while pointing out systemic mistakes made by leading global economies.

"Our integration is of a non-bloc nature, and we offer assistance in solving energy and food problems that emerge in the world, arising from a number of systemic mistakes in leading global economies in the area of finance and energy," he said at an expanded meeting of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) summit on Friday. "Hopefully, other participants in economic cooperation will build their policy on the same principles as well, and stop using the tools of protectionism, illegal sanctions and economic egoism opportunistically," the Russian president added.

Putin called the European Commission’s decision to lift sanctions from Russian fertilizers as a vivid example of such a policy. "We know how important fertilizers are for resolving the food problem," he stated. "We surely welcome the decision to remove these sanctions itself, though it turns out those sanctions as explained by the European Commission on September 10 of this year have only been removed for EU member states. It turns out only they can buy our fertilizers! What about emerging [economies]? [And] the world’s poorest countries?" Putin pointed out.

In commemoration of the launch of our first movie, My Son Hunter, I have attempted to find the origins of the contagion that is Hunter Biden laptop denial.

It was one of the biggest stories of the century, broken in one of the country’s oldest papers (the New York Post), and by a terrific reporter (Breitbart’s own Emma-Jo Morris). In an era of endless spin and fake news, this story was 100% factual. Yet it was almost instantly dismissed as Russian disinformation and censored from the Internet.

Who was behind this massive hoax? How did they pull it off? Were these people conspiracists, liars, ignoramuses, or some combination thereof? These are big questions that I can’t fully answer here, but I do think it’s a good time to look back and consider who were the biggest laptop deniers in our establishment media. Here they are:

According to DOJ whistleblowers, Facebook has been spying on Americans' private messages and reporting them to the FBI if they express 'anti-government or anti-authority' statements - including questioning the legitimacy of the 2020 US election.

As the New York Post's Miranda Devine writes, "Under the FBI collaboration operation, somebody at Facebook red-flagged these supposedly subversive private messages over the past 19 months and transmitted them in redacted form to the domestic terrorism operational unit at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, without a subpoena."

"It was done outside the legal process and without probable cause," said one of the whistleblowers, who spoke on condition of anonymity. "Facebook provides the FBI with private conversations which are protected by the First Amendment without any subpoena."

My Son Hunter, the new movie from Breitbart News, is a fact-based dramatization of the life of debauchery and corruption lived by the first son Hunter Biden. Although the movie takes certain artistic liberties, many scenes portray true accounts of the Biden scion’s life; this “True Fact” series will detail those accuracies.

True Fact: Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine to protect Ukrainian energy company Burisma, while Hunter was on the board.

Then-Vice President Biden pressed the Ukrainian government in 2015 to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was probing Burisma Holdings while Hunter was being paid over $80,000 a month to sit on the board. Biden threatened to withhold U.S. aid over the prosecutor’s firing and boasted about the move during a 2018 appearance at the Council of Foreign Relations.

“I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours,” Biden told the audience.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told a crowd in Illinois this week that he is preparing to run for president during the 2024 elections.

“We’ve got a team in Iowa, a team in New Hampshire and South Carolina. And that’s not random. We are doing the things one would do to get ready,” Pompeo told 1,100 people during a Chicago event on Tuesday, according to a Politico reporter.

“Unlike others, if I go down an escalator, no one will notice,” Pompeo joked, referring to former President Donald Trump’s announcement in 2015 that he was running.

China, the world's top consumer and pork producer, tapped its 'strategic pork reserves' to dump the largest amount of supplies ever into the marketplace in one month to cool prices.

statement from the country's economic planning agency, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), indicates that the first batch of pork reserves flooded regional markets on Sept. 9. The second batch is slated for Sept. 18.

"According to the amount already put in and the plan for later release, it is expected that the country and localities will put a total of about 200,000 tons of pork reserves in September, and the amount put in a single month will reach the highest level in history," NDRC said in a statement

An Air Force investigation of a fatal fighter jet crash in 2020 quietly discovered that key components of the pilot’s ejection seat may have been counterfeit, Air Force Times has learned.

First Lt. David Schmitz, an F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot at South Carolina’s Shaw Air Force Base, died June 30, 2020, when his ejection seat malfunctioned as he tried to escape from a failed nighttime landing. He was 32.

The Air Force’s official inquiry in the months following the accident found that electronics inside the seat were scratched, unevenly sanded and showed otherwise shoddy craftsmanship.

That raised red flags at the Air Force Research Laboratory, which called for a closer look to confirm whether the pieces were fraudulent, according to previously unreported slides provided to Air Force Times. It’s unclear whether that question was ever answered.

While the Air Force suspected parts of the seat were counterfeit, it buried the information in a nonpublic section of its accident investigation report.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sept. 14 that he and his staff members have handed over all responsive documents to a lawsuit alleging the U.S. government colluded with Big Tech to censor social media users.

“I have handed and my staff have handed over every document that the Department of Justice has asked for, and it’s up to them to make it available, but I have held nothing back from anything that I was asked to provide,” Fauci said during a Senate hearing in Washington.

The attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana filed the suit in May, and the first tranche of discovery returned evidence of collusion, including emails between the federal officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the White House and officials at Facebook parent company Meta, Google, and Twitter.

Absent from the release were any messages from Fauci and just a few involving officials at the agency he directs, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

I can’t understand why anyone would still want to live in California.  Yes, there are lots of high paying jobs and the weather is very nice, but crime is completely and utterly out of control.  As you will see below, a new report that has just been issued is warning that violence in the state has now reached “epidemic” levels.  The police are doing what they can to try to contain the violence, but at this point they are vastly outnumbered by the predators.  Sadly, this is the end result of literally decades of cultural rot, and what is happening in California is going to happen to the rest of the nation if we do not take urgent action to turn things around.

Originally, I was going to write about something else today.  Tens of thousands of rail and port workers were threatening to go on strike, and this could definitely cause some substantial economic disruptions…

America is bracing for chaos as tens of thousands of railway, port, and hospital workers look set to strike over the winter – plunging the country into further disruption.

As many as 60,000 railway workers, 15,000 nurses, and 22,000 West Coast port workers are plotting mass walkouts as they seek better working conditions.

Several US freight railroads said they were preparing for widespread strike and service interruptions Friday, a deadline set by two holdout labor groups in protracted talks with railroad carriers about better benefits.
