Joint Base Charleston, which is located in South Carolina, said on social media that efforts were underway to locate the aircraft with the help of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort following a “mishap” in the afternoon.
“The pilot ejected safely. If you have any information that may help our recovery teams locate the F-35, please call the Base Defense Operations Center at 843-963-3600,” Joint Base Charleston said in a post to its X account.
Webmaster addition: Absent aerial refueling, the F-35 would have flamed out and crashed by now. If no wreckage is found, then it's possible "someone" succeeded in stealing the plane for reverse engineering.
California lawmakers approved legislation on Thursday to impose a new tax on firearms and ammunition sales to help finance gun-violence prevention and education programs, a victory for Democrats after years of failing to pass similar measures.
The legislation, Assembly Bill 28, would impose an 11% tax on dealers and manufacturers for sales of guns and ammunition, and is one of a small number of major gun control measures still moving through the Legislature this year. It's the first time that Democrats have successfully sent a firearms tax proposal to the governor.
While Gov. Gavin Newsom has rejected or expressed resistance to imposing new taxes, he also has signed into law dozens of gun control measures. And after several mass shootings in schools across the country and two high-profile massacres in Half Moon Bay and Monterey Park this year sparked fresh outrage from advocates, lawmakers are under pressure to strengthen gun control in California, even as new laws face legal scrutiny and are often rejected by the courts for being unconstitutional.
Oklahoma's Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office is investigating the ATF for their recent SWAT raid of one of their county's most respected residents, Russell Fincher, PCSO Undersheriff Dustin Bray said Tuesday.
No one at the ATF warned the Sheriff's Office in advance that highly armed federal agents would be conducting the SWAT raid, the Undersheriff said.
“We weren't apprised of anything,” Bray said. “We are a Second Amendment County and we are going to protect our citizens here. We are not going to enforce any gun law or rule that violates the constitution.”
Bray did not yet know whether the investigation would yield criminal charges against ATF agents, adding, “That's a good one for the Attorney General. The thing I'm looking at are more constitutional issues than criminal, such as civil rights violations.”
The Air Force released new images of its secretive new stealth nuclear bomber, the B-21 Raider, showing the aircraft at never-before-seen angles.
Images of the aircraft, which is being developed by Northrop Grumman, were posted to the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) website last week, showcasing the new bomber from both the front and from a quartering angle.
The new stealth bomber is being rolled out to replace the current B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit and is expected to enter service by 2027. By 2040, the B-21 is expected to completely replace the older bombers.
Spring had submitted an application to Coda Story editor-in-chief Natalia Antelava containing a CV in which she claimed to have worked alongside BBC correspondent Sarah Rainsford on the British state broadcaster’s reporting on that year’s World Cup in Russia.
An entry read: “June 2018: Reported on International News during the World Cup, specifically the perception of Russia, with BBC correspondent Sarah Rainsford.”
This claim was the textbook definition of “disinformation.” In truth, Spring had met Rainsford in a handful of social settings, and they never worked together. Antelava easily ascertained Spring was lying, and admonished her for the fabrication. The future BBC apparatchik responded with a grovelling apology, expressing contrition for her “awful misjudgment”, while somewhat amazingly still professing to be a “brilliant reporter”:
Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has warned that the "future of Europe is at stake" in the wake of a surge in the number of migrants and refugees arriving from the North African coast.
It is "the future that Europe wants for itself that is at stake here, because the future of Europe depends on Europe's capacity to face major challenges," Meloni said.
The Italian premier further said that problem could not be solved by Italy alone.
Elsewhere in her remarks, Meloni called for cooperation among all members of the European Union to settle the migration problem.
She made the remarks at a press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
This comes after more than 8,000 migrants arrived on Italy’s island of Lampedusa in recent days. Nearly 126,000 migrants have arrived in Italy so far this year, which is about double the number for the same period last year.
"Irregular immigration is a European challenge that needs a European response," Von der Leyen added, calling on other members of the bloc to take in some of the migrants.
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) credited the January 6th committee for a “historic moment” of former President Trump’s arraignment. However, her rhetoric appears to be a cover-up of her own negligence and failure to secure the Nation’s Capitol building. Donald Trump told NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker in a sit-down interview at his New Jersey golf club that Pelosi “is responsible for January 6.”
“Nancy Pelosi was in charge of security. She turned down 10,000 soldiers. If she didn’t turn down the soldiers, you wouldn’t have had Jan. 6.” As for his own actions, “I behaved so well, I did such a good job, Nancy Pelosi turned down 10,000 soldiers” Trump stated.
“I understand that the police testified against her, the chief very strongly against her, the Capitol police, great people,” Trump said in the interview that aired Sunday. “They testified against her, and they burned all the evidence. OK? They burned all the evidence. They destroyed all the evidence about Nancy Pelosi.”
“She has authority over the Capitol,” Trump added. “National Guard not coming? I asked her [for them] to be there three days in advance, and she turned it down…She says that that request was never officially made” Trump continued.
California public schools supported by taxes on property owners teach California kids that it is possible to be born into the wrong body, and the schools implant the idea that many girls are really boys and many boys really girls that ended up in the wrong physical configuration. Consequently, an entire industry has grown up to change the sex of children. Boys are chemically castrated and given female hormones. Girls have their breast cut out and are given male hormones. Quack “transgender science” against nature proceeds apace.
The public schools have created a fad among children that the thing to do is to change one’s sex. This brings the child attention the child might not get from a two-parent earner family created by taxes and feminism. By the time busy parents working to stay ahead of mortgage and car payments catch on to what is going on, it is too late.
To prevent any intervention by parents the California State Assembly has passed a bill that gives the state the right to seize kids from parents who don’t support the “transition” of their kids into the opposite sex. The bill says that if a parent objects to the sex change of a child, the child is endangered and can be seized into the state’s protection.
There you have it–“freedom in America.” All authority of parents has been taken away in California by people who have ceased to be moral Americans.
Whites are fleeing California, even the dumbshit liberal ones. Consequently, California which was a Reagan state only a short time ago is today only 33% white. Today Republicans hold only 18 seats in the 80 member assembly.
There is no doubt whatsoever that the Biden Regime is a Fascist Censor controlling information in the interest of its criminal agendas. A Federal Appeals Court spelled out the censorship and banned it:
“Defendants, and their employees and agents, shall take no actions, formal or informal, directly or indirectly, to coerce or significantly encourage social-media companies to remove, delete, suppress, or reduce, including through altering their algorithms, posted social-media content containing protected free speech. That includes, but is not limited to, compelling the platforms to act, such as by intimating that some form of punishment will follow a failure to comply with any request, or supervising, directing, or otherwise meaningfully controlling the social-media companies’ decision-making processes.”
The Biden Regime hopes to convince the Supreme Court that “national security” requires abandoning the US Constitution and to coerce the court into reinstating the Biden regime’s cancellation of the US Constitution.
It is impossible for a country to survive when the values on which the country is founded are abandoned by its leaders. America is so far gone that not even the media believes in free speech and has happily accepted the role as Ministry of Propaganda.
For the United States to commit itself in advance to take the side of some other country that becomes involved in an international conflict is an extraordinary step that is justified only under extraordinary circumstances.
There needs to be a credible external threat to the country being protected. And there must be enough commonality of interests and values between the United States and the protected state that the difference between that state falling or not falling to external aggression is highly significant for U.S. interests.
A possible standard for measuring the appropriateness of security commitments is the grandest such U.S. commitment, under the North Atlantic Treaty. Whatever one may think of NATO’s later expansion and out-of-area activities, the circumstances justifying a U.S. security commitment were present when the alliance was created in the late 1940s. The Soviet Union’s military had overrun Eastern Europe and converted its states into satellite communist dictatorships. If the then-fragile democracies of Western Europe experienced the same fate, the result would have been disastrous for U.S. interests.
Nothing remotely resembling those circumstances exists today in the Persian Gulf region. No Red Army is poised to take over the region. No would-be regional hegemon exists. Certainly not Iran, weakened by sanctions, preoccupied with internal divisions, and facing the disadvantage of being an ethnic and religious minority in a region that is largely Arab and Sunni.
Over the last few months, Ukraine and its allies have pursued multiple efforts to convince unaligned nations to endorse their concept of a peace deal. President Volodymyr Zelensky and other high-ranking Ukrainian officials have made trips to Africa and the Middle East in hopes of winning over countries in the Global South.
In June, senior officials from Kyiv, a number of European countries, and a number of important neutral countries, including Brazil, India, Turkey and South Africa, met in Denmark to discuss Zelensky’s ten-point peace plan.
Last month, Saudi Arabia hosted a follow-up summit, which was notable mostly for the presence of Chinese officials, who were absent from the first meeting. The Wall Street Journal reported in advance of the Jeddah confab that “Ukraine and Western officials hope the efforts could culminate in a peace summit later this year where global leaders would sign up to shared principles for resolving the war.”
Now, with the G-20 meeting having just concluded and the annual UN General Assembly meetings taking place next week, the Journal took stock of what these efforts have accomplished. The conclusion? “Western efforts to craft an international consensus on peace terms that would benefit Ukraine have made only incremental progress.”
Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s minister of national security, made headlines worldwide and on every social media platform when he stated in an interview on Israeli television that his rights come before the rights of Palestinians. Tamir Pardo, former head of Israel’s notorious intelligence agency, the Mossad, made the headlines when he said that the situation in the West Bank is tantamount to Apartheid. Both stated the facts. Both have dedicated their lives and fully support this reality.
Between these two statements, Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas, often known colloquially by his nickname, “Abu-Mazen,” was heavily criticized for saying Israel committed “fifty genocides” and for making anti-semitic remarks about why Jewish people were persecuted. Once again, this was headline news posted all over social media. This statement also brought about a reaction from prominent Palestinian figures who thought it necessary to distance themselves from the man and the statement, and they published a letter to that effect.
Something is puzzling about the reactions to the statements made by these people, and there is, without a doubt, a thread that connects them that I hope to make clear. While the motivations for their statements are very different, the backgrounds and positions of these three figures are entirely different. In fact, they could not be more distant from one another; they all work for one common entity, and their statements serve a single entity: Israel.
Colleges continue to recruit for high-paying DEI administrator positions
As colleges continue to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the classroom, the job market to promote such principles in higher education continues to skyrocket. Not only are college DEI jobs plentiful, but they can also compensate extremely well.
Upon searching the term “diversity” into the popular job search website, Careers Inside Higher Ed, nearly 25,000 job listings appear, with many DEI job opportunities willing to pay six-figure salaries.
One such listing is “Talent Diversity Champion” at the University of California, San Diego, with an annual salary of $100,000 to $130,000 to work primarily from home.
I had the opportunity on September 15, 2023, to appear on Stuart Varney’s show on Fox Business to talk about two stories related to segregation – one about a school principal in Florida who resigned after protests by Black parents that their kids were singled out for a lecture about poor performance, and also Randi Weingarten of the American Federation of Teachers calling school choice segregationist.
The segment was promoted across Fox Business and MSN platforms:
At no point since the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, has humanity been closer to the unthinkable. All the safeguards of the Cold War era, which categorized the nuclear bomb as “a weapon of last resort”, have been scrapped.
Let us also recall the unspoken history of America’s doctrine pertaining to the conduct of nuclear war.
Barely six weeks after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the U.S. War Department released a Secret Plan on September 15, 1945 to bomb 66 cities of the Soviet Union with 204 atomic bombs.
The September 1945 Plan was to “Wipe the Soviet Union off the Map” at a time when the US and the USSR were allies. Confirmed by declassified documents, Hiroshima and Nagasaki served as a “Dress Rehearsal” (see historical details and analysis below).
The chief executive officer of a firm hired by New York City to house and care for hundreds of migrants abruptly resigned Friday after he admitted to lying about his educational record and as DocGo has come under scrutiny for its $432 million no-bid contract with the city.
Anthony Capone’s resignation came after the Albany Times Union reported earlier in the day that Capone had lied about having a graduate degree in artificial intelligence from Clarkson University. The university told the paper that Capone had never attended the university.
Capone later admitted to the paper he had never earned a graduate degree from any institution of learning.
You have to have a sense of humor to understand the irony of this story, realizing why any crackdown against violent crime in America – where it is proliferating – means the systematic concentration of police force on black individuals who are collectively the reason for the increase in criminality.
The second vice chairwoman for Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, who previously vowed to “dismantle” the Minneapolis Police Department amid widespread Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests, is now calling for tougher crime laws after she was violently carjacked this week.
In a lengthy Sept. 7 post on Facebook, Shivanthi Sathanandan claimed the carjacking incident took place in the driveway of her Minneapolis home in front of her children, who are aged 4 and 7.
A viral social media post revealing how much Bill Gates profited from the Covid pandemic was viewed over two million times in just two days.
Popular X account Pelham shared the post, writing, “Bill Gates purchased shares in BioNTech (Pfizer’s partner for its mRNA Covid shots) in September 2019… just months before the pandemic was announced…”
“Gates purchased 1,038,674 shares at pre-public offering price of $18.10 per share…” the user explained.
The post continued, “Gates dumped his stocks, in November 2021 at an average sale price of $300 per share… Gates on the same day said, ‘We need a new way of doing the vaccines, because the vaccines *didn’t stop transmission*’ despite all of his previous claims to the contrary. It’s almost like Gates knew Covid-19 was going to be released, and he also knew the vaccines were never designed to stop transmission.”
The post is accurate, as noted by Jordan Schachtel in January when he reported on SEC filings showing, “the Gates Foundation’s holdings in BioNTech went from 1,038,674 shares to 148,674 shares over the course of the third quarter of 2021, downsizing the Gates position in the mRNA vaccine manufacturer by 86 percent of shares held.”
A retired FBI supervisor has revealed to Congress that the bureau’s Washington field office had a second “politically connected” informant providing information relevant to the Biden family investigation, but was asked to shut down the source in the fall of 2020 shortly before Joe Biden was elected president, Just the News has learned.
Retired Special Agent Timothy Thibault, the former No. 2 supervisor in the FBI’s Washington field office, told the House Judiciary Committee last week in a transcribed interview he was somewhat taken aback when he received the request from the lead agent in the Hunter Biden tax case in October 2020 to shut down the confidential human source (CHS).
“It shocked me a bit because I'm, like, the purpose of – a confidential informant is to support a case,” Thibault told investigators in portions of a transcript reviewed by Just the News.
Thibault did not further identify the source in his testimony, but best-selling author Peter Schweizer told Just the News Sunday that he believes he is the person described in the transcript based on past comments from Thibault and after The New York Times recently suggested the FBI had received information in the Hunter Biden case from a “right-wing author.”
Schweizer said the FBI approached him and he provided to agents evidence about possible criminality in fall 2020. He said there was no politics involved, just facts and he pushed back on the narrative of the Times, noting its journalists reported on the Hillary Clinton-funded Steele dossier submitted to the FBI in 2016.
GREAT MOMENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE FBI.
"[Your information is] too precise, too complete to be believed. The questionnaire plus the other information you brought spell out in detail exactly where, when, how, and by whom we are to be attacked. If anything, it sounds like a trap."
FBI response to the top British spy, Dusan Popov (code named "Tricycle") on August 10, 1941, dismissing Popov's report of the complete Japanese plan for the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Pearl Harbor: The Verdict Of History by Gordon Prange, appendix 7 published in 1986. Based on records from the JOINT CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE on the Investigation of the Pearl Harbor Attack, Nov 15, 1945 to May 31, 1946.
GREAT MOMENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE FBI PART 2.
In 1964, accusations that the song "Louie Louie" as recorded by The Kingstons contained obscene lyrics led to a two year FBI effort to analyze the recording to determine what was actually being sung ... before someone mentioned that the lyrics were on file at the US Copyright office.
As John Williams recently argued, true inflation using an honest (rather than the openly bogus BLS) measure is now closer to 11.5% rather than the officially reported headline rate of 3.7%.
This should come as very little surprise to those whose eyes are open to the Modis Operandi of debt-soaked/failed regimes. As former European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker confessed: “When the data is too bad, we just lie.”
But even for those who still believe the current Truman Show inflation (and “soft landing”) narrative out of DC, the Bezos Post or legacy media A, B, or C, there’s more fire adding to the inflationary flames than just bogus narratives and calming platitudes.
In particular, I’m talking about oil-driven inflation, and nothing burns faster.
But even including Jacksonville, there were only 4 (four) white-on-black homicides in August. In contrast, there were about 35 black-on-white killings (we fudge because a couple of the victims seem to be white Hispanics). As always, the Regime ignores this continuing carnage—in fact, it is probably exacerbating it: some of these killings appear to be random “Hate Crimes.”
The toll of white women is especially high this month. As usual, most were in relationships, or adjacent to relationships, with black Significant Others. But at least one is a robbery victim.
Unusually, here are also two cases of white victims involved with black women.
Mayors from New York, Chicago, and other large cities are struggling with resources, blaming Texas, as illegal immigrants move in en masse.
Prior to being elected mayor of New York City in 2021, Eric Adams' campaign posted on Twitter, now known as X, "We should protect our immigrants. Period. Yes, New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration."
Less than two years later, now-mayor Adams is suggesting the influx of illegal immigrants will "destroy New York City."
"Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don't see an ending to this. … This issue will destroy New York City," Mr. Adams said on Sep. 6, during a town hall meeting on the Upper West Side. "We're getting 10,000 migrants a month."
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, began busing illegal immigrants to several large U.S. cities, known as "sanctuary cities," beginning in April 2022 to alleviate border cities in his state. And although only a fraction of the illegal immigrants arriving in New York City are arriving on Mr. Abbott's buses, Mr. Adams has called the program "morally bankrupt."
A jurisdiction is dubbed a sanctuary because it has enacted policies that shield illegal immigrants, including criminals, from federal immigration authorities and deportation.
Webmaster addition: They sure got the criminals!!!
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reported that another ring of people engaged in helping people to evade the draft and leave the country has been identified and broken up.
With Ukraine short on manpower at the front, it is racing to fill its ranks.
The last set of people detained were connected with the port in Izmail, in the Odessa region. Bribes were elicited from men of service age who wanted to leave the country. They were provided with papers claiming they were navigators on cargo ships, costing between $700 and $1,200.
Those detained are accused of taking a total of $55,000 in such payments. They were allegedly caught in the act, arrested and could face jail sentences of up to 10 years.
The SBU has also detained a deacon of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Odessa for allegedly helping men to leave the country under the guise of being prepared for ordination in the Church, with a minimal fee per person of $4,500. The deacon managed to aid six individuals in such a manner before also being arrested.
Another popular way for earning money on draft dodgers is the issuing of medical certificates, certifying that the individual paying was unable to serve in the army.
What happened to Elon Musk this past week showcases how completely unhinged and dangerous U.S. policy to Ukraine has become.
The condemnation began when the Washington Post published excerpts from a new biography on Musk revealing that he turned down a Ukrainian request to help launch a major sneak attack in September 2022 on the Crimean port of Sevastopol.
There were numerous, legitimate reasons why Musk refused to activate his Starlink internet services for Ukraine to carry out the unprecedented, surprise attack on Russian naval vessels: Musk was providing terminals to Ukraine for free; he was not on a military contract at that time; the late-night request came directly from the Ukrainian—not American—government; and Starlink had never been activated over Crimea because of U.S. sanctions on Russia.
Arizona students have been majorly impacted long-term by virtual learning throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
A new report from the Common Sense Institute Arizona estimates a possible 18,419 fewer high school graduates by 2032 and 26,281 fewer college graduates in 2026 in Arizona stemming from poor standardized testing scores in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Specifically, 4th and 8th-grade reading scores dropped by 0.2% and 0.4% in Arizona between 2019 and 2022, citing data from the National Assessment of Educational Progress. Although that was better than the national average, math score declines were more extensive than the nationwide average dip. Fourth and 8th graders saw 2.4% and 3.3% declines in math scores, and the report said these numbers are concerning given that Arizona already struggled with students finishing school.
Ariha or Jericho is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on earth, and is in a part of the West Bank that is administered by the Palestinian Authority.
The listing refers to the Tel es-Sultan archaeological site nearby, which contains prehistoric ruins dating back to the ninth millennium BCE and is outside the ancient city itself.
The vote was held during a meeting of the World Heritage Committee, overseen by the UN cultural agency UNESCO, in the Saudi capital city of Riyadh on Sunday.
It is the fourth site in the occupied West Bank to receive UN recognition as a World Heritage Site. The Church of the Nativity and the pilgrimage route in Bethlehem, the cultural landscape of southern al-Quds and Battir, and the Old City in al-Khalil are the other sites.
Ignoring repeated Russian warnings about the escalatory dangers linked with the delivery of more and more advanced weapons to Ukraine, Washington and its allies have moved in recent months to provide Kiev with long-range cruise missiles, cluster bombs, and depleted uranium munitions.
The next logical step for the Biden administration to take when it comes to arming Kiev may very well be to provide its client with mini-nukes, former Central Intelligence Agency officer Ray McGovern fears.
“We’re running out of ammunition. The president says ‘Ok, let’s give the Ukrainians some more ammunition,’ and his advisors say ‘We’re too low. So what else have we got? Well we don’t have any more 155 mm shells for our howitzers and so forth but we could give them cluster munitions.’ Now we’re giving them depleted uranium shells. And what’s the next step? Well the next step would be these little mini-nukes. We’ll give ‘em that, if push comes to shove,’” McGovern said in a podcast appearance alongside Scott Ritter.
As many as six million Ukrainians have registered as refugees in nations across Europe amid the NATO-Russia proxy conflict in their home country, with women, often accompanied by children, accounting for about 70 percent of the total.
Hundreds of Ukrainian families who fled to Europe as refugees have had their children taken away from them by the child welfare services of European Union member states. While protective custody is supposed to protect children against serious parental abuse, including physical violence or sexual crimes, refugees have complained that their kids can be snatched from them for far less serious transgressions, like keeping children home from school without a good excuse.
“If I was some kind of drug addict or hurt my child, [that would be one thing], but no,” a mother named Elena told Ukrainian-language British state-funded media in a piece published Sunday. “I myself used to work for an international foundation involved in protecting children’s rights. And here they take my child away from me. This is just a terrible situation,” the woman said.
Elena’s 10-year-old daughter, who suffers from developmental disabilities, was taken away from her by German social services agency Jugendamt in November 2022 on the basis of “suspicious behavior” and suspected risks to the child’s well-being. Elena believes that her depression, and the prescription of too strong a dose of antidepressants, led to a complaint to the Jugendamt from school staff on the suspicion that she was taking illegal drugs.
