Adult transgender clinics in England are facing a Cass-style inquiry into how they treat patients after whistleblowers raised concerns about the care they provide.

NHS England has announced that it is setting up a review of how the seven specialist services operate and deliver care after past and present staff shared misgivings privately during a previous investigation.

As a first step, NHS England will send “external quality improvement experts” into each of the clinics to gather evidence about how they care for patients, to help guide the inquiry’s direction.

The move follows the publication on Wednesday of a landmark review by Dr Hilary Cass, a former president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, which recommended sweeping changes in the way that the health service treats under-18s who are unsure about their gender identity.

In a letter responding to Cass’s report, which NHS England sent on Tuesday to the seven trusts that host adult gender dysphoria clinics (GDCs), it told them: “We will be launching a review into the operation and delivery of the adult GDCs, alongside the planned review of the adult gender dysphoria service specification.”

James O’Keefe’s O’Keefe Media Group has released undercover footage of a Federal Reserve employee admitting to how Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell sabotaged President Trump and wants to go down in history as “someone who held the line against Trump.”

Principal Economist Aurel Hizmo, a self-proclaimed liberal, told an undercover journalist more about Powell’s hatred for Trump, saying, “As soon as he became Chair, Trump wanted him to lower interest rates. Because when you lower interest rates, it stimulates the economy, and Trump was President. He wanted to stimulate the economy, but he wouldn’t do it. And he started raising interest rates, and doing the opposite of what Trump wanted. Trump tried to find all the loopholes to fire him.”

From the very start of Biden’s first term, there have been major screw-ups. It seems that the people working for this Democrat are far from stellar. But even though Biden is desperate to win another term in office, he continues to employ people who constantly hurt his chances.

His campaign was horribly embarrassed when his name wasn’t on the New Hampshire primaries. He faced humiliation in losing a state—and his team had to beg voters to write in his name.

But this latest blunder is even worse. A must-win swing state is reporting to Democrats, and the Biden campaign, that they messed up the timing of their convention. If they don’t make major changes soon, Biden might not end up on the general election ballot.

From The Post Millennial:
Incumbent President Joe Biden could be facing an uphill battle to get on the Ohio ballot for the 2024 election due to the delay in the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) presidential nomination process…

The DNC’s convention is scheduled to take place on August 19 and will take place more than a week after the August 7 deadline in the state to certify the presidential candidate in the state of Ohio to be on the ballot. The legal counsel Paul Disantis requested “prompt attention to the matter.”

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin warned that recent Ukrainian attacks targeting Russian oil refineries could have a "knock-on effect" on the global energy market, Bloomberg reported on April 9.

Ukrainian forces have launched a series of drone strikes aimed at damaging Russia's oil industry. A total of 12 Russian oil refineries were reportedly successfully hit in multiple regions deep inside Russian territory as of March 17.

Ukraine also attacked one of Russia's largest oil refineries on April 2 in the city of Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan, over 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) from Ukraine's border.

The U.S. has been attempting to restrict Russian petroleum exports that fuel the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine while keeping global energy markets supplied to cool inflation and ease a soft-landing for the worldwide economy, Bloomberg's article said.

According to the media outlet, a price cap on Russian oil exports was a successful tool, but concerns have risen, as "global oil prices hit the highest in almost six months, mainly on Middle East tensions."

First described more than 150 years ago, the syndrome has proliferated since the coronavirus pandemic. Before 2020, 1 million to 3 million people suffered from POTS in the United States, researchers estimate. Precise numbers are difficult to come by because the condition encompasses a spectrum of symptoms, and many people have still never heard of it. Recent studies suggest 2 to 14 percent of people infected with the coronavirus may go on to develop POTS.

The syndrome tends to strike suddenly, leaving previously healthy people unable to function, with no clear cause. In recent years, doctors specializing in the condition have noticed a curious and disproportionate subset of patients: young, highly trained athletes who are female.

Former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign is sending fear into the hearts of his opponents in the media, with one reporter noting that the former president’s campaign is “terrifyingly competent.”

Vanity Fair writer Gabriel Sherman, in an interview with “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, noted that Trump’s 2024 campaign is way more different than it was in 2016 and 2020.

Joe Biden declared he hopes his legacy is that he reduced the chances of war and said he was motivated to do so 'because of Vietnam'.

Biden, 81, was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972 at the age of 29, when the Vietnam War was raging and hundreds of thousands of Americans were  being conscripted into the military.

He himself never served in the conflict, instead receiving five student deferments and then a disqualification on medical grounds.

The disqualification was for having suffered asthma as a teenager, although he was a student athlete.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday vowed that American support for Israel is 'ironclad' amid concerns the country will be targeted by major missile or drone strikes by Iran.

'As I told Prime Minister Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad. Let me say it again: ironclad. We're going to do all we can to protect Israel security,' Biden said at a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The attack by Iran or its proxies against military and government targets in Israel are imminent, Bloomberg News reported citing intelligence sources, with one source saying it is more a matter of when, not if.

Biden today announced a crackdown on forever chemicals in American drinking water that will force utility companies and local governments to strip the toxins from tap supplies.

More than 70million Americans live in homes with water contaminated by the substances and the government estimates half of the country's water sources contains high levels of them.

Campaigners have been calling for the substances to be removed from water because a growing body of research links them to thousands of cancers, infertility cases and a host of other health conditions - including autism.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) handed down mandates this week that would require six substances among the group known as PFAS chemicals to drop to near-zero levels in tap water.

A nonbinary writer said that "broad-based" restrictions of males in female athletic competitions were likely unfair because scientific literature has not yet proven that men have athletic advantages over women at all times.

The writer was commenting on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, which recently voted to ban transgender athletes from competing in sports against the opposite sex.

The 20-0 vote limited participating in female sports to those who were born female. The NAIA also ruled that athletes who are on hormone therapy as part of gender transitioning may also not compete in those competitions.

U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, is going viral for insane ideas she suggested around black Americans being exempt from paying taxes -- as a form of reparations for slavery.

The Texan appeared Tuesday on "The Black Lawyers Podcast" where she was asked her thoughts on reparations.

She opened by noting the difficulties in any reparations program that isn't done at the federal level, since individuals would flood any state that provides them the most money.

Crockett, whose district covers much of Dallas, then lamented that many of her fellow politicians aren't interested in considering the racist programs proposed by radical leftists.

The congresswoman then began discussing an idea she had heard from an unnamed celebrity of "black folk not having to pay taxes for a certain amount of time."

Another embarrassing blunder went viral online among those who argue that President Biden is too mentally incompetent for another four-year term. It related to the president’s statement on Wednesday, when he said that voters should “Elect me… I’m in the 20th century.”

At the end of a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in the White House Rose Garden, Biden, 81, made the remark.

“Why doesn’t everybody holler at once?” the president asserted sarcastically as reporters asked questions.

Biden was questioned by Peter Alexander of NBC News on the abortion debate in Arizona, where the state Supreme Court decided on Tuesday that an 1864 law that outlawed abortions from the time of conception is still in force, with an exception being to save a mother’s life.

“Elect me,” Biden replied. “…I’m in the 20, 20th century,” continued the president.

Things aren’t looking good for Biden.

But then again, when are things looking good for him?

In addition to might not being able to make it on the Ohio ballot, Biden could also miss the deadline to be on Alabama’s ballot.

This could be the case because the Democrats are on track to miss a crucial deadline in the state’s election process.

Miss deadline, no ballot for Biden.

NASA engineers have discovered the cause of a communications breakdown between Earth and the interstellar explorer Voyager 1. It would appear that a small portion of corrupted memory exists in one of the spacecraft's computers.

The glitch caused Voyager 1 to send unreadable data back to Earth, and is found in the NASA spacecraft's flight data subsystem (FDS). That's the system responsible for packaging the probe's science and engineering data before the telemetry modulation unit (TMU) and radio transmitter send it back to mission control.

The source of the issue began to reveal itself when Voyager 1 operators sent the spacecraft a "poke" on March 3, 2024. This was intended to prompt FDS to send a full memory readout back to Earth.

The readout confirmed to the NASA team that about 3% of the FDS memory had been corrupted, and that this was preventing the computer from carrying out its normal operations.
