According to the report, Zachary Zulock is being held in a maximum security prison with other hardcore criminals, such as rapists and murderers. Yet even in this environment, there is a sort of honor code among the inmates, who tend to look down on other inmates whose crimes they feel are more despicable.
Those who commit crimes against children are considered the lowest of the low on the prison social ladder, and Zachary is finding that out the hard way.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the state of Illinois over its recent gun control law that the group says is "unconstitutional" and a "blatant violation" of constitutional rights.
"The NRA will not stand by while activist politicians pass unconstitutional laws that do nothing to promote public safety. We sued the state of Illinois because this new law is a blatant violation of Americans’ Second Amendment rights," Jason Ouimet, executive director of the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), told Fox News Digital.
The Illinois Senate passed its version of the Protect Illinois Communities Act earlier this month, banning so-called assault weapons and high-capacity magazines from being manufactured or sold in the state.
Leftist politicians wasted no time blaming "bigotry" and "white supremacy" for Saturday's mass killing in the predominantly Asian community of Monterey Park, California — and before the facts came out about the shooter.
Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (New York) on Sunday tweeted that he was "heartbroken" over the tragedy and that America "must stand up to bigotry and hate wherever they rear their ugly heads ..."
Democrat U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff of California highlighted "bigotry toward [Asian American and Pacific Islander] individuals as a possible motive."
Democrat Francesca Hong of the Wisconsin State Assembly tweeted: "This tragedy is beyond hate. We are broken as a nation to have mass shootings and white supremacy reign terror."
You'd think the facts about the suspected shooter would crush the "bigotry" and "white supremacy" theories floated by Schumer, Schiff, and Hong — but their tweets on the subject were still posted as of Tuesday morning.
It’s hard to believe the United States government was ever debt-free.
But it happened once—in 1835—thanks to President Andrew Jackson. He was the first and only president to pay off the national debt completely.
One biographer says the former president viewed debt as a “moral failing,” a sort of “black magic.”
When he became president, Jackson was determined to rid the US of its national debt. After all, debt enslaves you to your creditors.
Jackson knew that being debt-free was essential to independence. This outlook resonated with many Americans back then.
With that in mind, Jackson attacked the institutions and powerful people who promoted and enabled the federal debt. This included the banking elites and the Second Bank of the United States, the country’s central bank at the time and precursor to today’s insidious Federal Reserve system.
While campaigning against the evils of national debt and central banking, Jackson miraculously survived an assassination attempt when an assassin’s two pistols both misfired. Shadowy interests tied to the central bank were almost certainly behind the effort.
However, Jackson survived and went on to “End the Fed” of his days. He successfully bested the central bank—and the powerful interests behind it—and shut down the Second Bank of the United States.
He also repaid the federal debt in full, which was no easy task.
Jackson couldn’t squeeze the American people with a federal income tax to repay the debt. It didn’t exist at the time and would have been unconstitutional.
He also couldn’t simply print currency to pay off the debt. Perpetuating such an insane fraud—which the Fed does on a massive scale today—likely never entered his mind.
Instead, Jackson had to rely on tax revenue from other sources, mainly import tariffs and excise taxes, to pay down the debt. He also drastically cut federal spending and frequently vetoed spending bills.
Jackson’s determination worked. By January 1835, the US was debt-free for the first time.
Unfortunately, it didn’t last much more than a year. After that, the US would never again be debt-free—not even close.
Out of 318,000 people,St. Louis is 49.2 percent black 43.9 percent white (as of 2010 US Census).
Our good friends at the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department not only put out an annual report on crime broken down by race, but a weekly analysis of the yearly crime rate.
Also, conveniently, breaking out violent crime by the race of suspects.
And for the year 2022, two years after the joyous year Black Lives Matter triumphed nationwide courtesy of the ghost of George Floyd, what percent of homicides in St. Louis have a black suspect.
For 2022, 141 of 148 known homicide suspects were black, or 95% of known homicide suspects in the 43% white city of St. Louis were black.
Black Lives Matter, though. Right?

Feige’s admission came during an appearance on The Movie Business Podcast with host Jason Squire, who asked him what the secret to Marvel Studios’ success is.
As part of his answer, Feige detailed how the company goes through post mortems where they examine what they could have done better after the release of each motion picture or television series.
He then detailed, “And I guess to distill it down of what lessons are learned: is to entertain the audience at every turn.”
Bill Maher is not known as a moderate Democrat, never has been, and still isn’t. However, he’s consistently criticized his progressive left-wing compatriots, including the President himself, regarding the ideology pushed in schools.
You’d think this would cause his fellow liberals to pause and ask themselves, “Bill Maher says we’re ruining children and pushing insane theories… perhaps we should reevaluate.” But, of course, that would require them to care about the consequences of the nonsense they regularly spew into the minds of our most vulnerable.
Mr. Maher feels so strongly about what is happening with kids these days that he opened his season premiere episode this last Friday on a discussion of schools – not the classified docudrama, not the war in Ukraine – our schools.
This proves that one of my former favorite comedic commentators still has his finger on the pulse of what everyday Americans care about.
Senator Ted Cruz is calling on the Department of Justice to conduct a search of President Biden’s Senate papers, which have remained hidden from public view at the University of Delaware, for more classified documents.
Cruz issued the demand during a podcast discussion of the President’s ongoing scandal on Monday.
The Texas senator said a thorough search of Biden’s Senate papers would be the next logical step in the investigation.
The most recent search of Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware over the weekend revealed more classified documents, including some from the time period when he represented the Blue Hen State from 1973 to 2009.
“The next step in this scandal is going to be, okay, if Biden’s Senate documents include classified documents outside of classified settings — which is illegal — how many more classified documents are illegally in his Senate papers?” Cruz asked.
Russian combat aircraft, missile troops and artillery struck over 60 Ukrainian artillery units at firing positions in the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Monday.
"In the past 24 hours, operational-tactical aircraft, missile troops and artillery of the Russian group of forces struck 63 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 97 areas," the spokesman said.
Russian artillery struck amassed manpower of two Ukrainian army brigades in the Kupyansk area, eliminating over 40 militants in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk area, artillery of the Western Military District inflicted damage on amassed manpower of the Ukrainian army’s 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades in areas near the settlements of Dvurechnaya and Berestovoye in the Kharkov Region and Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
China has not only closed the military capability gap and increased competition with the United States, but also has developed a strategy to defeat the United States in a potential conflict, according to a new report.
“The Future of Conflict and the New Requirements of Defense,” by the Special Competitive Studies Project — a bipartisan initiative promoting the adoption of emerging technologies in national security — outlines how advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence are “creating new ways to apply military force.”
China is looking to “harness these changes with the aim of eroding or even leapfrogging the United States’ military strengths,” the report said.
Over the last few decades, China has studied how the United States has traditionally fought wars using “networks of precision-guided munitions engaging each other,” or what the Chinese military refers to as “informatized warfare,” SCSP’s senior director for defense Justin Lynch said.
The FDA is now recommending Americans take annual COVID booster vaccines much like the flu shots that are made available every year, but selling that plan to a skeptical public will be increasingly difficult as doubts about the booster shots grow.
One prominent doctor said outside of people with multiple extreme health issues like obesity and diabetes, "nobody ... should take" the booster shots, and even those high-risk patients should "weigh the pros and cons" before getting injected.
"The Food and Drug Administration on Monday proposed a simplified approach for future vaccination efforts, allowing most adults and children to get a once-a-year shot to protect against the mutating virus," reports the Associated Press. "This means Americans would no longer have to keep track of how many shots they’ve received or how many months it’s been since their last booster."
The new FDA guidance, which, according to AP, hears from a panel of "outside vaccine experts" Thursday, echoes President Biden's call to get a COVID booster shot annually. Biden has ostensibly taken a total of five COVID shots already, Breitbart reports.
A bill that would ban the sale, manufacture, importation and transfer of assault weapons — and define what those firearms are — will soon enter the gun regulation debate at the Colorado Capitol.
The proposal, sponsored by Democratic state Reps. Andrew Boesenecker and Elisabeth Epps, drops earlier draft language that would have outright banned possession of those types of firearms. Conservative groups leaked the earlier version, which Boesenecker called a “snapshot in time” as they worked through the proposal. Advocates dropped that provision out of concerns of enforceability.
Amid revelations that President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, and now former Vice President Mike Pence all stored materials marked as classified at their private residences, the office of former President Barack Obama has declined to state its plans, if any, to conduct a search of his properties for similar materials.
Following the Tuesday report that Pence had found materials marked classified at his Indiana home, Fox News reached out to the 44th president's office seeking details on any plans Obama may have to search his own properties. Pence indicated that he searched his home following the discovery of documents in Biden's possession.
"We have nothing for you at this time," came the response from Obama Communications Director Hannah Hankins. Obama maintains residences in Washington, D.C.; Chicago, Ill.; Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; and New York, N.Y.; the outlet noted.
Reflections on whether the West has crossed any red lines are a thing of the past, since the United States has openly declared its plans of defeating Russia strategically, the Russian Foreign Ministry has told TASS.
Commenting on Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky’s remarks that "not all red lines have yet been crossed" by the West, the ministry said: "A hybrid war is being waged against our country."
"Reflections about red lines are now in the past. The United States has unequivocally declared its intention to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia," the ministry continued. "It is impossible not to notice this reality."
Polyansky earlier told US journalist Kim Iversen that NATO and other Western countries have de-facto become embroiled into the conflict in Ukraine, but not all red lines have yet been crossed.
In April 1967, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered an eloquent and stirring denunciation of the Vietnam war and US militarism. The speech titled “Beyond Vietnam” is relevant to today’s war in Ukraine.
In the speech at Riverside Church, King talked about how the US had supported France in trying to re-colonize Vietnam. He noted, “Before the end of the war we were meeting 80% of the French war costs.”
