"There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution" -- Aldous Huxley, 1931

Local law enforcement alerted the U.S. Secret Service about a suspicious person before the shooting at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month, according to the chief of the Pennsylvania State Police.

During questioning at the House Homeland Security hearing on Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris disclosed new details about the security lapse that led to the assassination attempt on former President Trump. The incident resulted in one death and two injuries.

Col. Christopher Paris stated that the Butler County Emergency Services Unit had a text thread discussing the suspected gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and had reported him as a suspicious person before the incident.

“At some point when he utilized the range-finder, the suspicion was heightened,” Col. Paris said of Crooks.

He said that State Police got a call and a text from the emergency services unit about the suspected gunman’s activity and told the Secret Service.

State Police officials had “verbally turned right around and gave it to the Secret Service” at a local command post for security, Col. Paris said, adding:

“My understanding was that he was milling about and he stood out to them because he never made his way to a point of ingress to the venue.”

A federal judge has rejected the motion filed by ABC News and George Stephanopoulos to dismiss the defamation lawsuit brought against them by former President Donald Trump.

U.S. District Judge Cecilia Altonaga’s decision on Wednesday allows former President Donald Trump to move forward with his lawsuit against ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos.

The lawsuit stems from a March on-air interview where Stephanopoulos repeatedly stated that Trump was found “liable for rape” in a case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. A New York jury actually found Trump liable for sexual abuse, not rape, a claim the former president has strongly denied.

“Defendants have not met their burden of proving the fair report privilege applies,” Judge Altonaga wrote in the ruling. “Any remaining questions as to the reasonableness of Stephanopoulos’s statements are not for resolution on a motion to dismiss.”

The issue centers on a March 10 broadcast of ABC News’s “This Week,” where George Stephanopoulos interviewed Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and stated that former President Donald Trump was found “liable for rape.” Trump claims that this statement was defamatory because the jury did not actually make that finding.

The global surge in deadly heart failure cases among children was caused by Covid mRNA shots, leading scientists have finally confirmed.

Heart failure has been on the rise among children recently, and a new study has linked this phenomenon to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines.

In the last three years, medical professionals have observed a rise in children with a range of heart problems, such as myocarditis and pericarditis, which were rare before COVID-19. Both of these conditions are well-known side effects of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Although the mainstream media often tries to paint these deaths as connected to the COVID-19 virus itself and not the vaccines, a new study shows that these conditions are only appearing in children following vaccination rather than infection with the virus.

Vice President Kamala Harris has spent the last three and a half years in Joe Biden’s shadow spinning word salads and pretending to know what she’s talking about. In many ways, she’s been an afterthought – someone to roll our eyes at and poke fun at.

But now that she’s in the running for the Democratic presidential nomination, we’re obligated to take her more seriously. What exactly are Kamala Harris’ policies?

Glenn Beck delves into the VP’s political history to give you an accurate picture of what a presidency under Kamala would look like.

Here are 13 things about Kamala Harris that everyone should know.

America is experiencing a 13-year high in corporate bankruptcies, with more companies going under than during the lockdown era of the pandemic. Companies are rushing to friendshoring opportunities to avoid the tax that comes with the Made in America label. Businesses are reluctant to hire even low-wage workers. America lost China as its top trading partner and is experiencing supply chain issues. Instead of implementing meaningful legislation to promote American businesses, Kamala Harris plans to increase taxes.

Confiscating Americans' firearms, by force, is one of the ideologies that Kamala Harris has supported.

"We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory buyback program," she has affirmed.

It's just one of the wilder components of what she wants for America, others to include a ban on fracking, changing guidelines to suppress the availability of red meat to consumers, a ban on offshore explorations, to legalize illegal aliens, to abolish ICE, and let convicted murderers and terrorists have the vote.

Russia has pulled all its vessels out of the Sea of Azov, a body of water connected to the Black Sea, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian navy said.

Ukraine’s successful attacks on targets in Russian-annexed Crimea and elsewhere in the Black Sea have forced the Russian navy to rebase many of its ships elsewhere.

“There are no longer any Russian naval vessels in the Sea of Azov,” spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk said, adding that Moscow has “begun to suspect something”.

Kyiv does not have a specialised naval branch, but has succeeding in taking out 27 of the total 80 warships Russia had in its Black Sea Fleet before the invasion.

It comes as Russia launched at least 38 drones at Ukrainian cities overnight, with Kyiv’s air force claiming to have down 25 of them.

Convicted New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) said in a letter dated July 23 to New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, that he will resign from the Senate effective Aug. 20, but he’s not admitting any guilt.

Instead, Menendez said he plans to appeal the verdict which convicted him of 16 counts of a federal Bribery/Corruption Indictment, but cited concerns that he cannot fully preserve his legal rights if the Senate Ethics Committee conducts an adjudicatory review, which would likely result in a recommendation to expel or censure the New Jersey senator.

“While I fully intend to appeal the jury’s verdict, all the way and including to the Supreme Court, I do not want the Senate to be involved in a lengthy process that will detract from its important work,” he wrote.

“Furthermore, I cannot preserve my rights upon a successful appeal, because factual matters before the ethics committee are not privileged,” he explained. “This is evidenced by the committee’s staff director and chief counsel being called to testify at my trial.”

It also shows the outcome of this year's Presidential Election.  It shows that the rank-and-file Democrats know they've been snookered by the Party bosses.  It shows the Democrats see Kamala as an airhead.

Ever since Joe Biden dropped out of the race, prominent Republicans have been relentlessly calling for him to resign.  They argue that if Biden is unfit to run, he is also unfit to serve.  It is hard to argue with that.  But getting Biden to resign would essentially be the equivalent of throwing Brer Rabbit into the briar patch.  Elevating Kamala Harris to the presidency is not going to help Republicans win in November.  In fact, it would almost certainly help Harris and the Democrats.

White House Approves Nearly $3 Billion Weapons Sale to Saudi Arabia

The State Department approved a proposed sale of military technical equipment to Saudi Arabia. Washington views Riyadh as a key partner in the Middle East, even as the Kingdom rules its people with an oppressive dictatorship and wages war abroad.

On Wednesday, a statement posted by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said the “State Department has made a determination approving a possible foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia of System Logistics and Sustainment Support and related elements of logistics and program support for an estimated cost of $2.8 billion.”

The sale includes “Joint Mission Planning Software (JMPS) hardware and support; KIV-77/78 cryptographic devices” and “US Government and contractor engineering, technical, and logistics support services; and other related elements of logistics and program support.”

Saudi Arabia is ruled by a theocratic monarchy that regularly commits human rights abuses against its people. Additionally, the Kingdom waged a brutal seven-year war against Yemen that killed at least 377,000 people, including many children who were starved to death.

The DSCA statement explained that the State Department determined that the sale “will support the foreign policy goals and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a partner country that is a force for political stability and economic progress in the Gulf Region.

Claire's Observations:  OK, folks, I am having a double palm-to-forehead, at velocity upon reading this.  And please note;  NO ONE in the DSCA had the "cajones" to sign the damned thing, because they all understand just how horrific the Saudi Arabia's human rights issue has become in this part of the 21st century.  https://www.newarab.com/news/saudi-arabia-has-executed-over-100-people-so-far-2024

And to his Majesty, Prince Mohammed Ben Salman, a word, please:  that chant "We're Number 1!  We're Number 1!" does not play well in the West, when the context is the number of executions performed.  Just a thought; it doesn't come from the mountain, but perhaps, was  worth a suggestion.

And another thought;  your current sign-off of the criminal code, allowing for amputations; stoning; and other barbaric forms of torture, as documented by the following https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2024/03/saudi-arabia-repressive-draft-penal-code-shatters-illusions-of-progress-and-reform/ doesn't seem to change any of the most awful things your government is allowed to do; it simply codifies them.

The Democrat party will reportedly change the rules and coronate Vice President Kamala Harris as its nominee in the first week of August, weeks before the Democratic national convention.

The shortened timeline underscores the Democrats’ disregard for the democratic process of selecting a candidate for president. By simply choosing Harris for the nomination, Democrats will nullify about 14 million votes cast during the Democrat primaries for President Joe Biden.

Democrat leaders will assemble on Wednesday to change the roll call rules to allow Harris to accept the party’s nomination before it reaches the convention floor in Chicago, Bloomberg reported:

The idea of a virtual roll call emerged in May in order to make sure the Democratic ticket would have time to get on the ballot in several states with early filing deadlines, party leaders said. The convention’s rules committee meets to finalize that process Wednesday — the last remaining obstacle to holding the vote.

It was Ohio’s Aug. 7 deadline that prompted the rule change, and even though the state pushed it back to Sept. 1, it’s unclear whether the old deadline still applies to the 2024 election.

Democrat strategists hope that Kamala Harris can avoid responsibility for the inflation surge that soured the public on President Biden but the critical role she played in passing the legislation that fueled the worst price increases in four decades will make that a challenge.

The Biden-Harris administration’s sweeping $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan passed a deeply divided Senate in March of 2021 only after Harris cast the tie-breaking vote in favor of the pandemic spending bill that even prominent Democrat economists had warned would overheat the economy.

Republicans voted unanimously against it, criticizing the measure as unnecessary, unaffordable, and dangerously inflationary. Even prominent economists associated with liberal politics and the Democratic Party like Larry Summers and Olivier Blanchard had warned that the American Rescue Plan could cause significant inflation. Summers called it the “least responsible” economic policy in 40 years, arguing that it would push demand beyond the capacity of the economy and lead to sustained inflation. Similarly, Blanchard expressed concerns that the scale of the spending would create significant inflationary pressures, potentially harming economic stability in the long run.

Those warnings proved prescient. Shortly after Harris cast her vote securing passage in the Senate of one of the largest increases in deficit spending in a generation, long-dormant inflation arose across the U.S. economy and pushed inflation to levels not seen in decades. By the following summer, inflation peaked at nine percent, the fastest pace of price increases since 1981.

The Disney Grooming Syndicate has watched its already-embattled stock take a serious dive over the last few months. In April the stock rallied to $123 per share, up from $91 per share at the beginning of the year. In Early May, the Disney Grooming Syndicate stock reached as high as $116.

But all this year’s gains are now gone. Currently, the stock sits at just $90 per share.

Ike Perlmutter is the former chairman of Marvel Entertainment who tried and failed in last year’s proxy battle to obtain seats on Disney’s board of directors. He was joined by activist Disney shareholder Nelson Peltz. The hope was to wrench some control from Disney’s CEO Bob Iger.

Perlmutter had been one of the Disney Grooming Syndicate’s biggest stakeholders and chief critics due to the political direction of the company and the stock price collapse that followed.

MSNBC talking head Joy Reid said “people of color” will look “real weird” if they do not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democrat nominee, in November.

Reid, who recently took shots at the racial identity of television personality Amber Rose for speaking at the Republican National Convention (RNC), went to TikTok to expand on her thoughts that black people and others close to the “culture” are “crazy” to not support Harris.

“Given just the stratospheric entrance of Vice President Kamala Harris into the presidential campaign, and she has now secured enough delegates to become the nominee, you’re going to look real crazy being on the other side of that line, particularly as a person of color, but really as anyone who claims to have any connection to the culture,” Reid said in Tuesday video:

The very same media that championed Kamala Harris as America’s new “border czar” in April of 2021, is now claiming she not only wasn’t our “border czar,” but her duties never included slowing the surge of illegal immigration at our southern border.

Here are the proven liars at the far-left PolitiFact (I don’t link misinformation) this week providing tackling assistance for Kamala: Nope, they say, she was never border czar. Nope, she was never in charge of decreasing the flow of illegal immigration:

Biden tasked Harris with addressing the root causes that drive migration to the United States. He did not task her with controlling who and how many people enter the southern U.S. border. That’s the Homeland Security secretary’s responsibility.

Experts say that seeing the results of addressing root causes driving people out of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras  — violence, economic insecurity and corruption — takes time.

Let’s start debunking that lie with Joe Biden’s own words… Here’s the relevant portion of Biden’s March 25, 2021, public statement:

Posted on:

If you were the President of these United States, and you were going to withdraw from the Presidential race, would you write that notification on a blank piece of paper as opposed to White House stationary, and then give it to someone to read it for you? (Note: U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson announced he would not run for reelection on national television in prime time!)

Would you allow someone to sign that withdrawal statement for you? (It’s obvious that is not Biden’s signature on the letter.)

Would you use Twitter to endorse your replacement who will run in your place? (Tradition would hold that you would stand next to them on national television to make that announcement/endorsement)

The bottom line is that this is a bunch of non-transparent Mickey Mouse nonsense.
