Former President Donald Trump may not fully grasp the situation in Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, Zelensky said on Friday that he would be happy to bring the Republican nominee up to speed if he returns to the White House in 2024.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC in London, Zelensky claimed that Trump might not fully understand the situation in Ukraine but added that he is willing to work with whoever holds power in Washington.

“Maybe he really doesn’t understand what goes on in Ukraine, so we have to work with the United States,” Zelensky told the BBC, repeating his previous claim Trump would somehow be out of his depth in dealing with events in Eastern Europe.

Employees of the largest housing provider for unaccompanied migrant children in the U.S. repeatedly sexually abused and harassed children in their care for at least eight years, the Justice Department said Thursday, alleging a shocking litany of offenses that took place as the company amassed billions of dollars in government contracts.

Southwest Key Programs Inc. employees, including supervisors, raped, touched or solicited sex and nude images of children beginning in 2015 and possibly earlier, the Justice Department said in a lawsuit filed this week. At least two employees have been indicted on criminal charges related to the allegations since 2020.

It was not immediately clear how many children are currently in Southwest Key’s vast network of shelters across three states, which have room for more than 6,300 children. A Justice Department spokesperson declined to comment beyond the lawsuit announcement when asked whether the department recommended that children be removed from the shelters or that the the nonprofit’s contracts be terminated.

Ok, not getting...it really is nasty already.

How about nastier

Yesterday the Democrat Establishment ramped up its war against Joe Biden, and with good reason.

But not with good sense. Biden is pissed. Really pissed.

After weeks of hints, then leaks, then open statements, now the Democrats are engaged in full-fledged hoaxes to get Biden out of the presidential race.

A federal judge recently dismissed charges against former President Donald Trump for his handling of classified documents, finding that the appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutional. This news comes weeks after the U.S. Supreme Court rebuked Smith’s separate prosecution of Trump’s actions in the aftermath of the 2020 election. The court found that the president has absolute immunity from prosecution when executing official duties that fall within his “conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority.”

While the prosecutions of Donald Trump brought Smith to public attention, it was not the first time he was accused of weaponizing the federal government against conservatives. Over 10 years ago, Smith was a central figure in the IRS Tea Party targeting scandal that similarly ended in admonishment for the agency — but not before the actions of Smith and others successfully stifled and smeared nonprofits advocating for conservative policies. As Smith’s eventual role in the Trump case attests, the leaders of the IRS targeting scandal largely escaped accountability for their abuse of power, and some remain influential in government to this day.

In 2013, the IRS apologized for subjecting applications for tax-exempt status from conservative organizations to extrajudicial review. The activity occurred during the peak of the Tea Party movement, shortly before the 2012 presidential election, when activists were speaking out loudly against then-President Barack Obama’s policy agenda. We’ll never know how big that movement could have grown, however, because the IRS slammed the brakes (and, in some cases, the door) on the application process for groups expressing conservative viewpoints.

A “f–king stubborn” President Biden is still refusing to relinquish the Democratic nomination, sources close to the 81-year-old president told The Post Thursday — despite speculation that he may step aside this weekend after former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi joined mutineers urging him to retire.

Axios’ Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen — two of the best-sourced and most respected political journalists in Washington — reported Thursday that “several top Democrats” believe the commander-in-chief is under such intense pressure that he will indeed step aside.

But sources close to Biden said they weren’t so sure — even after a torrent of reports Wednesday indicating that both Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) had privately warned Biden that polling shows he could lose in a landslide, dooming other Democrats on the Nov. 5 ballot, while Biden campaign co-chair Jeffrey Katzenberg reportedly warned that donor funds were drying up.

In the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, new evidence suggests that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter, may not have acted alone. The presence of explosives and a bomb detonator, combined with the lack of evidence showing Crooks researched bomb-making, indicates possible assistance from other individuals or groups.

Police found a cell phone and a bomb detonator next to Crooks’ body after he was killed by a Secret Service sniper. Exclusive photos obtained by WPXI reveal these items, which raise questions about how Crooks acquired the knowledge and materials to execute such a sophisticated attack.

Investigators, as reported by CNN, have not found any online search history indicating that Crooks learned how to make homemade explosives. This gap in evidence suggests that Crooks likely had help in obtaining and assembling the explosives found in his car.

An unprecedented global IT outage caused worldwide chaos on Friday morning, leaving passengers stranded at airports, TV networks unable to broadcast and banks unable to serve their customers.

Major cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike issued a faulty software update that slammed users of Microsoft’s Windows operating system, many of whom were greeted with crashing computers and the so-called “blue screen of death” as they were left unable to restart.

“We’re aware of an issue with Windows 365 Cloud PCs caused by a recent update to CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor software,” Microsoft said on its 365 Status X account.

Microsoft warned the bug could cause computers to “get stuck in a restarting state.”
