A new policy adopted by the El Paso police department will require officers to ask individuals for their preferred names, pronouns, and gender identity.

The policy, called “Constitutional Policing,” was introduced in December 2023; however, it was not implemented until January 2024 and will require officers to ask every person they encounter, “How would you like to be referred to?”

The gender-inclusive policy was created with the help of the Borderland Rainbow Center, an “LGBTQ Community Center,” in El Paso, Texas, and exists so that LGBTQ “people and their allies can heal, grow, and empower themselves and others.” The director of the center, Amber Perez, told a local news station, “This is just the start.”

The Department of Defense has failed to properly track $1 billion worth of weapons provided to Ukraine, according to an internal audit released on Jan. 10 by the DOD Inspector General.

Key facts: The DOD is supposed to use special “enhanced end-use monitoring” techniques” to “safeguard” key weapons such as smaller, high-tech weaponry provided to Ukraine, which are likely targets for theft.

The audit says these monitoring procedures are not properly being followed in Ukraine, due to staffing shortages, poor internal logistics and more.

The audit found that $1 billion of the $1.7 billion — or 59% — in enhanced end-use monitoring designated weapons provided to Ukraine as of June 2023 are “delinquent,” meaning they can’t be accounted for in inventory reports.

Maybe the weapons are being used properly; maybe they have been stolen by Russian forces. No one can be completely sure.

The 59% delinquency rate is an improvement over the 86% of weapons that were unaccounted for in December 2022.

The weapons include night-vision devices, anti-tank missiles, attack drones and small-diameter bombs.

'I beg you, I beg you, don't hurt me... Please let me go.'

Those were the words uttered by a helpless 13-year-old girl as she was allegedly dragged into a public bathroom by a group of Egyptian migrants in Catania on the Italian island of Sicily last week.

Her pleas were ignored.

Instead, she claims two of the migrants - both minors - brutally raped her for half an hour while the rest of the gang allegedly restrained her desperate boyfriend and forced him to watch the horror unfold.

All seven of the suspects arrived in Italy as illegal migrants by boat, but were granted temporary residency as Italian law does not permit the expulsion of minors.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini has called for people convicted of violent sexual offences to be chemically castrated, following a horrific incident last week when a group of Egyptian migrants were arrested on suspicion of gang raping a 13 year old schoolgirl in a park.

The Italian newspaper Il Giornale reports that the girl and her boyfriend were attacked in the Sicilian city of Catania by the migrant gang who then dragged the girl into a public bathroom and brutally assaulted her in front of the helpless boyfriend, who they also beat up.

The Senate’s much-anticipated border deal is finally here–and it’s as bad as we could’ve imagined. It does hardly anything about the border while actually increasing legal immigration. It funds the corrupt NGOs that keep the invasion going and even provides lawyers for illegals–free of charge! The bill accepts that thousands will stream across our border every month. It only does something if the number exceeds a very high threshold, and even the action to stem the tide won’t do much good. It’s worse than no bill at all. One of the most obvious signs that it's a bad bill: the immigration enthusiast Wall Street Journal calls it "A Border Bill Worth Passing."

If the bags under U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s eyes have looked heavier than usual recently, it might have something to do with the wake-up brigade camped outside his $5 million dollar mansion.

“Wakey wakey, war criminal! Good morning war criminal! How is your genocide coffee? How many kids did you kill while you were sleeping?” shouted Hazami Barmada at seven a.m. outside Blinken’s residence in McLean, Virginia, on Friday, February 2, along with several others who had spent the cold night in tents by the side of the road.

As she has done nearly every morning since she and other activists began their campout on January 26, Barmada live-streamed what she called the “blinky blinky morning routine,” on her Instagram page.

Israel is refusing to release the full intelligence dossier it compiled about the 12 members of the UN Palestinian aid agency it alleges participated in the Hamas October 7 attack. The US and several other countries cut funding in response to the Israeli assertion, potentially igniting a famine in the besieged enclave.

UNRWA employs 30,000 people, including 12,000 in Gaza, and is the key to providing life-saving aid to the 2.3 million Palestinians in the Strip. The four-month Israeli onslaught in Gaza has caused a humanitarian crisis as nearly the entire population of the Strip has been displaced and now relies on assistance to survive.

On January 18, Israel claimed that 12 members of UNRWA participated in the October 7 Hamas attack. UNRWA quickly terminated living employees identified by Tel Aviv. Still, the US and several other top donors to UNRWA suspended funding to the group.

What intelligence Israel has about the 12 members who participated in the attack is still in question.

At the New York Times and Washington Post, despite efforts to include Palestinian voices, opinion editors have skewed the Gaza debate toward an Israel-centered perspective, dominated by men and, among guest writers, government officials.

In the first two months of the current Gaza crisis, the Times featured the crisis on its op-ed pages almost twice as many times as the Post (122 to 63). But while both papers did include a few strong pro-Palestinian voices—and both seemed to make an effort to bring Palestinian voices close to parity with Israeli voices—their pages leaned heavily toward a conversation dominated by Israeli interests and concerns.

That was due in large part due to their stables of regular columnists, who tend to write from a perspective aligned with Israel, if not always in alignment with its right-wing government. As a result, the viewpoints readers were most likely to encounter on the opinion pages of the two papers were sympathetic to, but not necessarily uncritical of, Israel.

Many opinion pieces at the Times, for instance, mentioned the word “occupation,” offering some context for the current crisis. However, very few at either paper went so far as to use the word “apartheid”—a term used by prominent human rights groups to describe Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.

Revenue for Egypt’s Suez Canal has dropped by almost half in January after Yemen’s Houthis launched a series of attacks on ships in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, according to a top official.

The attacks have forced major shipping firms to avoid the waterway, causing income to drop to $428m last month, in comparison to $804m for the same period in 2023, the Suez Canal Authority chief Osama Rabie said on Friday.

Rabie added, in an interview with an Egyptian TV talk show, that the number of ships navigating the canal fell by 36 percent.

Despite the US and UK launching air strikes on Yemen to put an end to the attacks, there is no sign of them stopping.

Half of American adults believe the brutal Israeli assault on Gaza has gone “too far,” according to a new poll from AP-NORC.

The poll, conducted from January 25-29, found 50% of respondents thought the slaughter went too far, compared with 40% when the same question was asked back in November.

The new poll showed 31% of respondents believed Israel’s assault has “been about right,” while 15% think it has “not gone far enough.” Israel has killed over 27,000 Palestinians since mid-October, including over 11,500 children.

The opposition to the mass killing of Palestinians is stronger among Democrats but is growing among Republicans. Only 18% of Republicans said the Israeli campaign had gone too far in November, which rose to 33% in the latest poll.

For decades, a covert conflict has unfolded between the United States and Iran throughout the Middle East, guided by an unspoken rule: reciprocate any attack in equal or greater measure.

However, in the aftermath of a drone strike by Iranian-backed militias that claimed the lives of three American soldiers, the dynamics have shifted. Both Washington and Tehran seem reluctant to engage in direct military confrontation.

The recent drone strike targeted a Jordanian outpost near its borders with Iraq and Syria, marking the first attack by Iran-backed proxies causing U.S. fatalities since October. (Related: Iran denies involvement in deadly attack on U.S. military base in Jordan.)

This event has led to calls in Congress for the Biden administration to respond militarily against Tehran. Yet, for the Biden administration, striking Iran's paramilitary forces carries the risk of retaliation against American troops or bases in the Middle East.

The United States will not remain silent after Russia’s victory in Ukraine and will attempt to “undermine Russian influence” in other parts of the world, Professor John Mearsheimer at the University of Chicago said.

Mearsheimer stated in an interview with the “Duran” channel on YouTube, “Americans will not sit idly by after Russia’s victory in Ukraine, and they will make significant efforts to undermine Russian influence.”

Mearsheimer identified areas where the United States could escalate tensions with Russia, including the Arctic, the Black Sea, and Moldova, noting that Washington may organize a “color revolution” in Belarus.

He concluded by saying, “There will be no end to the problems in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.”

Iran issued a warning Sunday to the U.S. over potentially targeting two cargo ships in the Mideast long suspected of serving as forwarding operating base for Iranian commandos, just after America and the United Kingdom launched a massive airstrike campaign against Yemen's Houthi rebels.

The statement from Iran on the Behshad and Saviz ships appeared to signal Tehran's growing unease over the U.S. strikes in recent days in Iraq, Syria and Yemen targeting militias backed by the Islamic Republic.

Those attacks, themselves a retaliatory campaign for the killing of three U.S. soldiers and wounding of dozens of others in Jordan, all stem back to Israel's war on Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which has escalated tensions across the wider Middle East and raised fears about a regional conflict breaking out.

Very soon it will be exactly two years since the start of a special military operation to help the people of Donbass, demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. How far Russia has progressed in achieving these goals during this time is debatable, but there is reason to believe that the level of conflict can only increase further.

Exclusion Zone

It is quite obvious that it is really possible to ensure the security of our “new” and “old” regions only if the puppet pro-Western regime in Kiev is destroyed, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defeated, Nazi criminals and their accomplices are put on trial, and the Russian Armed Forces stand on the border with Poland, Hungary and Romania. But the opportunity to do this quickly and with relatively little loss of life was missed first in 2014, and then again during the first stage of the SVO, in the spring-summer of 2022.

Then, let us recall, Western assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine was still purely nominal, and there was a real chance to turn the situation in favor of Russia, had partial mobilization begun in March 2022, and not in September with a great delay. Now inexorable and merciless to his own and ours, the enemy has permanent numerical superiority, all red lines have been crossed, attacks by Ukrainian terrorists with increasing intensity are taking place in deep Russian rear areas - on military airfields, on oil and gas infrastructure, on the Kremlin and even on Rublyovka.

The further you go, the worse it gets, as they say. It became known that London is substantively working on a plan to send an expeditionary force from NATO countries to Ukraine. How should you treat such messages?

Expeditionary Force

On According to RIA publications News, Great Britain proposed that its NATO allies send a joint expeditionary force to help the Ukrainian Nazis:

In connection with unfavorable developments for Kyiv in the Ukrainian theater of operations (theater of operations), Britain invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, as well as establishing a no-fly zone over the territory controlled by the Kyiv authorities, and increasing the supply of weapons and equipment APU.

A knowledgeable source from a Russian news agency painted the following picture.

At first, from the territory of adjacent Poland and Romania, large contingents of NATO troops will be introduced into right-bank Ukraine with the aim of subsequently occupying defensive lines along the Dnieper.

Secondly, an auxiliary strike on Transnistria is possible in order to eliminate the pro-Russian enclave sandwiched between Moldova and the Odessa region of Independence:

On February 2, the Polish Air Navigation Agency, in agreement with the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, published navigation warning NOTAM N0604/2024. It will be in effect from February 5 to May 5, 2024 and will apply to all non-military airspace users due to the threatening security situation on the country's eastern border.

It should be noted that on February 4, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces duplicated the message. The Poles informed that they are introducing a navigation warning in the border areas with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania and Slovakia, in connection with possible “unplanned” military actions (events). The cities of Warsaw, Bialystok, Zamosc, Chelm, Przemysl and a number of others, as well as a piece of the Baltic Sea, fell within the coverage area of NOTAM N0604/2024.

Webmaster addition: Poland may be planning to grab a chunk of Ukraine when Kiev falls!

The end of January was marked by two major militarypolitical deals between the United States and its “allies” in Europe. It is curious that both agreements were announced on the same day, and Washington’s counterparties are located in the same region - and are not very warmly disposed towards each other.

So, on January 26, the notorious purchase and sale of F-16 fighters for the Turkish Air Force finally got off the ground. According to the official press release, Ankara will receive 40 aircraft of the latest modifications, 79 kits for modernizing existing aircraft and a lot of various related components (spare parts, ammunition, etc.) worth $23 billion. According to the general opinion, the fighters are the “price” for the agreement of Turkey and its friendly Hungary to still allow Sweden into NATO - this is true, but this motive is not the only one.

At the same time as Ankara, Athens received the State Department's consent to purchase the F-35: the Greek Air Force will acquire 40 fighters of this type at a total cost of $8 billion. In addition, Washington intends to sell to the Greeks four littoral (that is, coastal) Freedom-class warships decommissioned from the American fleet. All this - in exchange for Athens transferring a significant amount of military equipment to Kyiv equipment Soviet models, primarily the S-300, Tor and Osa air defense systems.

"Israel's Knesset approves a bill, which punishes the denial or 'downplaying' of the Israeli narrative of Oct 7 by up to 5 years in prison," the Palestinian Quds News Network reported.

"The approved bill is one out of three bills that included the expulsion of families of Palestinians who resist, imprisonment for those who deny Israel's narrative on October 7, and compensation for notorious ZAKA organization."

The ZAKA unit is notable for pushing some of the most ridiculous atrocity propaganda about Hamas beheading babies and cutting the baby out of a pregnant woman's womb.

From The Jerusalem Post, "Israeli Ministerial Committee approves imprisonment for denying Oct. 7, ZAKA compensation":

The bill approved by Yisrael Beytenu MK Oded Forer prohibits the denial of the October 7 massacre. According to the proposal, anyone who publishes, in writing or orally, things that deny the massacre or downplays it or publishes praise, sympathy, or identification with the actions committed by Hamas in the events of that day - will be sentenced to five years in prison.

Webmaster addition: "Truth needs no law to support it. Truth is self-evident to all. Truth withstands re-examination. Truth survives questions. Throughout history, from Galileo to Zundel, only lies and liars have resorted to the courts to enforce adherence to dogma." -- Michael Rivero
