Thought for the day

In a statement earlier this week, the DOJ said it was sending officials to 64 jurisdictions throughout the country - most of which would be in red or purple states.

Included in the list was Broward County, Miami-Dade County, and Palm Beach County.

Brad McVay, General Counsel at the Florida Department of State, responded...

"(T)he Florida Department of State received copies of your letters to Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in which you seem to indicate that the Department of Justice will send monitors inside polling places in these counties," reads a letter to the DOJ from McVay.

"We also understand you sent a similar letter to Palm Beach County."

"But Department of Justice monitors are not permitted inside a polling place under Florida law," McVay continues.

"Section 102.031(3)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists the people who ‘may enter any polling room or polling place.’ Department of Justice personnel are not included on the list. Even if they could qualify as ‘law enforcement’ under section 102.031(3)(a)6. of the Florida Statutes, absent some evidence concerning the need for federal intrusion, or some federal statute that preempts Florida law, the presence of federal law enforcement inside polling places would be counterproductive and could potentially undermine confidence in the election."

In short, pound sand.

This week’s Israeli elections resulted in the massive rise of the fascist Religious Zionism party and a right-wing coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu

Out of 120 seats in the Knesset, Israel's parliament, Netanyahu's far right bloc secured a majority 65 seats - a victory that could not have been achieved without the alliance formed with far-right politicians Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich.

The results also signified the absence of a Zionist national consensus regarding any just solution to the Palestinian issue, nor any solutions to the intractable problems facing Palestinians.

Global Intel Hub is breaking on the ground intel from Red State Tennessee (not a swing state).  Shoreline Church voting center near Knoxville, TN, had a line out the door because 'only one printer is working' - one voter reported a 1.5 hour wait once inside the building.

When the poll worker announced the 1.5 hour wait, many voters left.  Others made phone calls and other arrangements for staying longer - some complained they only had 1 hour out of work to vote.

Tennessee is clearly not a 'purple' state or a 'swing' state, but if one was trying to manipulate elections, this would be a great way to do it.

People who don't vote, can be later entered as 'voted' and there would be no way to audit that.  The voting booths, are secure - but the paper ballots are scanned and sent to a server, we don't know where or how that happens, which could be manipulated

Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 19 narrowly approved the ratification of a labor agreement that has been nearly three years in the making.

Fifty-two percent voted in favor of accepting the agreement, IAM said Saturday. About 59% of IAM’s membership voted. Overall membership totals about 4,900 workers, who serve as locomotive machinists, roadway mechanists and facility maintenance personnel for the railroads.

North Korea has denied American claims that it’s shipping artillery shells and ammunition to Russia for use in its war against Ukraine, and on Tuesday accused the United States of lying.

The denial follows dozens of weapons tests by North Korea, including short-range missiles that are likely nuclear-capable and an intercontinental ballistic missile that could target the U.S. mainland. Pyongyang said it was testing the missiles and artillery so it could “mercilessly” strike key South Korean and U.S. targets if it chose to.

North Korea has been cozying up to traditional ally Russia in recent years and even hinted at sending workers to help rebuild Russian-occupied territories in Ukraine. The United States has accused North Korea, one of the most weaponized countries in the world, of supplying Soviet-era ammunition such as artillery shells, to replenish Russian stockpiles that have been depleted in the Ukraine.

Western energy sanctions against Russia have helped Moscow achieve the second-ever sail of a crude tanker east through the Arctic Circle toward China, a route dubbed 'Arctic Silk Road,' that could one day revolutionize energy trade flows from Russia to Asia because it's about half the time versus Russia's Baltic ports through the Suez Canal.

Vessel tracking data compiled by Bloomberg shows the Vasily Dinkov, a specialized ice-breaking tanker, departed from Murmansk, a city in northwestern Russia, off the Barents Sea, hauling a cargo of crude. The vessel traversed Russia's northern coast between Oct. 27 - Nov. 4 and entered the Bering Strait, a strait between the Pacific and Arctic Oceans that separates Alaska and Russia, on Nov. 5.

As of Tuesday morning, the tanker is full speed ahead off Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula. Its final destination is the Chinese port of Rizhao on Nov. 17.

"The journey is the shortest passage between Europe and east Asia, taking half the time to reach China from Russia's Baltic ports than the conventional route through the Suez Canal," Bloomberg said.

Even before the war in Ukraine and the resulting sanctions on Moscow, trade flows were already in the beginning stages of shifting towards the Northern Sea Route.

In 2017, we noted, "transit routes through the Arctic will assume a certain level of importance vis-à-vis the global geopolitics of Russia and China."

Visual Capitalist's Nicholas LePan published a map of all the critical routes and resources in the Arctic in 2019.

The world’s energy needs will only grow, and it would be “foolish” to think that rising demand can be met with renewables alone, Oman’s Energy Minister Salim Al-Aufi told CNBC on Tuesday.

Energy needs to be affordable and this is the first pillar of energy supply when the energy transition is concerned, the minister said.

Oman’s official also defended, again, the OPEC+ decision to reduce the headline target oil production by 2 million barrels per day (bpd) as of this month, saying that the group is proactive in trying to balance the market.

Al-Aufi also said that he wasn’t surprised by the U.S. blowback after the OPEC+ decision was announced.

“It was expected,” he told CNBC.

Gun Owners of America secured a historic victory in the battle for gun rights on Monday when New York Judge Glenn Suddaby issued a preliminary injunction suspending many parts of New York's Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA).

This victory follows Gun Owners of America & Gun Owners Foundation securing a temporary restraining order against the aforementioned CCIA in October, which a federal appeals court then blocked.

The end of world dollar hegemony is coming and hardly anyone in government is taking notice or even understands what this means. Since the Bretton Woods Conference in 1944, the dollar has been the only currency accepted throughout the world for settlement of international trade accounts among nations.

Prior to 1944, physical gold was used for international settlement. When an exporter in country A sold goods to an importer in country B, country B would pay with its own currency. But country A would have no interest in allowing country B’s currency to build up in its vaults beyond an amount required to settle its own importers’ needs. Thus, country A would demand that country B redeem its own currency in gold. Sometimes country B would ship physical gold to country A. Or perhaps gold held in safekeeping in a third country would be designated as now belonging to country A, a book entry transaction that is more convenient than physical movement.

The British National Health Service has been rolling back its use of hormone replacements and transgender surgeries for children, and a recent statement announces what should have been obvious: for most children, it’s just a transient phase.

The emotional and hormonal roller coaster that is adolescence results in all kinds of phases, some more harmful than others: punk, goth, emo, temporary same-sex attraction, ridiculous haircuts, anorexia, extreme celebrity worship, and self-harm. Some require intervention. None of them define who a person is or who he will grow into. And never should a child be assisted in self-mutilation that will last a lifetime. What is unique about this fad is the degree to which adults have encouraged such life-altering medical treatments.

In the U.S., there have been no such pronouncements about scaling back transgender mutilations. In fact, the Biden Administration is actively encouraging them. Not only is the Assistant Secretary for Health (“Rachel Levine”) a man who dresses as a woman, but Joe Biden himself now appears in televised segments, encouraging trans individuals in their attempt to deny themselves and become the other sex.

Say there! Did ya catch that crazy article by Birsin Filip out of the Mises Institute: “Multinational Agrichemical Corporations and the Great Food Transformation”?  No? Too bad! It’s a real knee-slapper! Personally, I would have titled it “Hungry Games” – a little play on words that might attract readers with something sounding less interesting than my college thesis: “The Sex Life of the Canadian Hockey Puck”. At least I got points for humor while not enough to rise above C level.

It’s a safe bet – assuming the current public school ‘reading for comprehension’ rate – you’re not going to invest 15 minutes of your life to read something as apparently boring as this. Who could blame you when the college football season isn’t over yet? Isn’t “Wheel of Fortune” on tonight? And what about the PA vote count? So there you have it.

What if I told you Birsin’s piece will scare the living crap out of you – as well it should? What if “The Hunger Games” wasn’t all just books and movies, but more accurate than the last weather forecast?

As a Public Service – and because I won’t live long enough to actually witness this – here are a few choice samples that might impress, indeed motivate you in the necessary direction of awareness, self-defense and survival…

December 16th, CISA announced SolarWinds’ largest hack in history, in which 425 out of 500 of the top US corporations were hacked, all of the US Government was hacked, all of the military, the CIA, the NSA, DHS, CISA.

Patrick says anyone who had a key to the SolarWinds hack had a key to every election machine in America that were running the Serv-U product, which means they had unlimited administrative access to the databases. And most of these databases use SQL, a tool that lets you change entries to the database.

Patrick says anyone who had these keys could break into any computer network in America and change what they needed to change – and that’s not him saying this, these are statements from the Government.

According to what we hear from the White House and from the television networks, the issues at stake in the Ukraine War are simple. They concern the evil of Vladimir Putin, who woke up one morning and chose, whether out of sadism or insanity, to wreak unspeakable violence on his neighbors. Putin’s actions are described as an “unprovoked invasion” of a noble democracy by a corrupt autocracy. How we ought to respond is assumed to be a no-brainer. The United States has pledged vast quantities of its deadliest weaponry, along with aid that is likely to run into the hundreds of billions of dollars, and has brought large parts of the world economy—particularly in Europe—to a standstill.

Now, whenever people in power tell you something is a no-brainer, there’s a good chance that it’s a brainer. And the Ukraine War is more complicated than we’ve been led to assume.

There are reasons why the U.S. might want to project power into the Black Sea region. But we must not ignore that the politics of the region are extraordinarily complex, that the Ukraine conflict is full of paradoxes and optical illusions, and that the theater we are entering has been, over the past 150 years, the single most violent corner of the planet. And unless we learn to respect the complexity of the situation, we risk turning it into something more dangerous, both for Europeans and for ourselves.

The official Zionist arm of the Conservative Movement on Tuesday issued a demand to Benjamin Netanyahu, the presumed incoming prime minister, calling on him not to give far-right politician Itamar Ben Gvir a cabinet post, in light of the latter’s checkered legal past and history of support for Jewish terrorism.

The SPARS PANDEMIC 2025-2028, published by the Johns Hopkins Centre for Health Security in October 2017, is another of those amazingly prescient, yet “entirely fictional” scenario plans that ended up looking like the blueprint for the actual covid pseudo pandemici. It is in fact the prequel to that other freakishly coincidental pandemic wargame, Event 201, hosted in October 2019 (a few weeks before SARS-COV-2 hit the headlines) by the same institution along with the CIA and the World Economic Forum (WEF). What business does the CIA and its brainchild, the WEF, have going anywhere near public health strategy planning? Absolutely none, unless of course public health strategy is to be used as a nefarious special purpose vehicle for intelligence services and the global corporate oligarchy.

If you’re not yet up to speed on pandemic planning shenanigans, check out this brilliant investigative report by German journalist Paul Schreyer who traces the 20-year arc of pandemic simulation wargaming involving collaborations between the most prestigious medical scientific institutions, the mainstream media, and government intelligence agencies – the latter two being a very peculiar inclusion in any nexus of front-line public health strategy planning. This report by Schreyer is a vital contribution to the copious body of evidence demonstrating the Machiavellian planning which preceded the covid pseudo pandemic.

This particular scenario plan, which I will frequently refer to in this essay as the Pandemic Play, was “designed to illustrate the public health risk communication challenges” posed by an infectious disease outbreak. [emphasis added]. Important to stress from the outset – not actual public health risks, but PR risks. In short, it’s concerned with what those with unwashed brains would instantly recognise as brainwashing. For the purposes of this essay the question is, why bother dusting off a five-year-old simulated pandemic plan when the actual events have been slapping us in the face, and very hard I might add, for the past two years?

At a forum organized on 4 November at Wilson Center, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf, and the former US ambassador to Lebanon, David Hale, discussed the US foreign policy in Lebanon and the grim future that awaits it.

Leaf warned that the current situation in Lebanon is open to all possible negative outcomes, including a “complete disintegration of the state and the collapse of its security forces.”

She added that the Lebanese will likely have to endure more pain before forming a new government and that without adequate solutions, they will suffer a mass exodus to neighboring countries, as the situation in Lebanon will become unbearable, even for the elite.

Leaf added that she expects Lebanese parliament members to pack their bags and leave for Europe, abandoning the country that they would at one point deem as unsalvageable.

The “Elad” settlement association received 28 million shekels, or roughly $7.9 million to support the illegal settlement in Wadi Rababah in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to the daily Haaretz.

The Israeli newspaper revealed that the “Elad” settlement association has established public parks, agricultural projects and developed a new tourism hub at the expense of the original owners of the land, stripping their rights and preventing the Palestinian geographical expansion in Silwan.

According to Almanar news, the settlement project run by Elad is supported by several occupying institutions, including the Jerusalem Municipality, Israel’s Nature and Parks Authority, the Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage Ministry, and the Jerusalem Development Authority.

Ahmed Simrin, a member of the Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood committee, said in a press statement, “These donations collected by the Elad Settlement Association to support Wadi al-Rababa are aimed at tightening the occupation’s grip on the neighborhood,” according to WAFA news.

Economic storm clouds are gathering worldwide as some of the largest shipping companies warn about sliding global trade. US shipper FedEx and Danish shipping giant A.P. The latest to warn about weakening economic growth is FedEx CFO Michael Lenz telling an audience Tuesday at the Robert W Baird Global Industrial Conference that the company has reduced flights and parked planes to cut costs in response to soft demand for package delivery.

EU member states are standing resolutely firm against President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act amid fears it will harm their domestic companies and economies.

The sweeping U.S. legislation, which was approved by U.S. lawmakers in August and includes a record $369 billion in spending on climate and energy policies, was discussed by the 27 European Union finance ministers on Tuesday. This came after the European Commission, the executive arm of the EU, said there are “serious concerns” about the design of the financial incentives in the package.

“Each minister agreed that this is a subject of concern at the European level and that we need to see what is the best response,” an EU official, who followed the ministers’ discussions but preferred to remain anonymous due to the sensitive nature of the issue, told CNBC.
