Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu says NATO’s military activity in Eastern Europe has taken a “most aggressive” direction

NATO is using the Ukraine crisis as an excuse to build up its forces in Eastern Europe and deploy weapons which are being aimed at Russia and Belarus, Moscow’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu claimed on Thursday during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin.

"Additional military contingents and military infrastructure are being deployed, combat training and reconnaissance activities are being activated near the borders of the Union State (of Russia and Belarus)," Shoigu said, adding that the US-led military bloc has already launched the next stage of its expansion, and is now modernizing military infrastructure in Eastern and Central Europe.

Shoigu also noted that Western governments are intentionally “doing everything possible in order to stretch out and escalate the conflict in Ukraine” by continuing to provide military aid to Kiev’s armed forces.

“Today we are together resisting the collective West, which is waging an essentially undeclared war against our countries," he said, noting that NATO’s military activity has acquired a “most aggressive direction.”

A whistleblower from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) revealed his identity in an interview with CBS News on Wednesday and charged the Department of Justice (DOJ) with hampering a tax probe into Hunter Biden.

Gary Shapley, a 14-year employee of the IRS, told CBS News in the exclusive sit-down interview that federal prosecutors were giving the president’s son preferential treatment.

“When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately saw it was way outside the norm of what I’ve experienced in the past,” said Shapley, who was assigned to the case in 2020.

Whether Israel’s escalating threats of war with Iran over its nuclear program are saber-rattling or something more serious is a mystery even to the CIA, according to a portion of a top-secret intelligence report leaked on the platform Discord earlier this year. The uncertainty about the intentions of one of the U.S.’s closest allies calls into question the basis of the “ironclad” support for Israel publicly espoused by the Biden administration.

The report — which was first covered by the Israeli channel i24 News and subsequently posted by DDoSecrets, a group that publishes leaked documents — reveals an undisclosed military exercise conducted by Israel. “On 20 February, Israel conducted a large-scale air exercise,” the intelligence report, produced by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on February 23, states. The exercise, it says, was “probably to simulate a strike on Iran’s nuclear program and possibly to demonstrate Jerusalem’s resolve to act against Tehran.” There have been several joint U.S.-Israeli military exercises in recent months, including one proudly billed by the Pentagon as the largest “in history.” 

Clare Lahey has lived with her husband in the home he grew up in, just up the street from the Housatonic River in the town of Lee, Massachusetts, for nearly five decades. The Hill reported that US military funding to Ukraine could be suspended indefinitely due to proceedings in Washington over the public debt ceiling. Effectively, the public debt situation will force the US to reduce its financial support to Ukraine since it is no longer possible to expect as much support as before.

Congressman Andy Kim, a House Armed Services Committee (HASC) member, was quoted by The Hill as saying that lawmakers had conversations about what needs to be a part of the following package but expressed doubts about the timing of the legislation and highlighted that the ongoing fight over the debt ceiling was putting Ukraine aid at risk.

“It’s delaying our ability to focus on these issues,” Kim said. “That really shows that it has national security implications because we’re not able to have that kind of earnest conversation about Ukraine or the [National Defense Authorization Act] until they’re done with that.”

For his part, Congressman Bill Keating said aid to Ukraine would ultimately depend on its counteroffensive, something that will seemingly miss its long-anticipated spring deadline.

A discussion on housing migrants in Chicago turned into an intense confrontation Wednesday before the City Council meeting.

One of the top issues for the City Council is finding funding for the thousands of asylum seekers who landed in Chicago.

Several alderpersons and activists have proposals for a situation they called a crisis.

Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez (25th) said the last administration failed to collaborate with communities when dealing with migrants bussed to Chicago.

The group introduced plans to use city spaces for migrant housing and for Chicagoans who are unhoused.

The Dutch government continues its war on the country's farmers and has proposed new regulations that would roughly limit two cows per acre in order to reach the European Union's climate change targets by 2030, The Telegraph reports.

The proposal, which has not yet been approved by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, would limit "0.35 hectares of grassland per livestock unit" in an attempt to tackle nitrogen emissions by reducing methane gas, which will place an even greater strain between the country's farmers and Dutch government.

The American Left’s tendency to enforce its ideological speech codes reminds commentator and radio host Dennis Prager of the Soviet oppression of Jews, which he studied in his youth. He calls this phenomenon totalitarian and “nightmarish.”

Prager studied Russian in school in order to study communism. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, he traveled to the Soviet Union, helping Jews and hearing about their struggles. This foundation helped Prager sell plenty of bestselling books and launch his online video platform, PragerU.

“If you’d have said to me when I was in graduate school, ‘You’re learning about the American future,’ I would’ve thought you were out of your mind,” Prager told The Daily Signal on Monday at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Orlando. “But I studied communism and the Soviet Union, and it prepared me for what is happening in America today.”

“You can ask almost any person who lived in a communist country and they will say to you, ‘I can’t believe what I fled is now happening in America,’” he added.

Russia and the West are “in solidarity” to the extent that the conflict in Ukraine cannot be frozen, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Russia’s TASS news agency on Wednesday.

Asked whether Russia was considering putting the fighting on hold, Peskov stated that Moscow is only considering the option of “completing the special military operation,” which means securing Russia’s interests and achieving its goals either through military, or other available means.

The spokesperson noted that it is premature to talk about a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict, as there are no prerequisites for such an outcome yet.

During a sit-down interview with a whistleblower who worked at the largest migrant hotel in New York City, he revealed that almost 5,000 migrants are currently staying a block away from Times Square, causing havoc for surrounding businesses and allowing children to drink alcohol while receiving millions of dollars in free benefits.

A block away from Times Square, rooms were previously rented out for $500 a night, however, it has now been completely overtaken by migrants who Arrellano states have “trashed the hotel” and caused “chaos” in the area.

Gert-Jan Oskam was living in China in 2011 when he was in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed from the hips down. Now, with a combination of devices, scientists have given him control over his lower body again.

“For 12 years I’ve been trying to get back my feet,” Mr. Oskam said in a press briefing on Tuesday. “Now I have learned how to walk normal, natural.”

In a study published on Wednesday in the journal Nature, researchers in Switzerland described implants that provided a “digital bridge” between Mr. Oskam’s brain and his spinal cord, bypassing injured sections. The discovery allowed Mr. Oskam, 40, to stand, walk and ascend a steep ramp with only the assistance of a walker. More than a year after the implant was inserted, he has retained these abilities and has actually showed signs of neurological recovery, walking with crutches even when the implant was switched off.

The United States should pay Russia for undermining the Nord Stream pipeline explosion as well as for the cities it is responsible for destroying in new regions, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said.

Medvedev responded positively to a question about whether the US should compensate Russia for the damage caused by the Nord Stream pipeline’s sabotage in an interview with the RT TV channel broadcast on Tuesday. "And not only this damage. Let them repay or at least give them the means to restore Artyomovsk, Mariupol and a host of other places that were ruined with their help and support. Using their money," the official noted.

He reiterated that the US should reimburse Russia for undermining the [Nord Stream] pipeline. "Let them compensate here also, though there is still room to talk with respect to the evidence," Medvedev said. "This process is not over yet and this page has not been turned," he noted. "In any case, they deny it [their involvement - TASS] but their arguments do not appear to be very sound," the official added.

JPMorgan is “persistently” discriminating against its own clients and closing bank accounts without warning, according to Republican attorneys general from 19 states.

The law enforcement officials, led by Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, sent a letter to JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon stating that the banking giant’s practices go against the company’s own policies on equality.

The letter, which has now been published by the Wall Street Journal, states that JPMorgan has repeatedly discriminated against customers based on their religious or political beliefs.

“It is clear that JPMorgan Chase & Co. (Chase) has persistently discriminated against certain customers due to their religious or political affiliation. This discrimination is unacceptable. Chase must stop such behavior and align its business practices with the anti-discrimination policies that Chase proclaims.”

The attorneys general cite the sudden account closure of a religious liberty organization as an example of the bank’s discriminatory practices.

Do you realize if this invasion continues under Biden, you're going to have third world welfare adults, babies and chain-migrated relatives into the 10's of millions within 25 years?  In other words, you, your city, and your state are being replaced with the poor of the world.  Why isn't anyone speaking up?  Why are the NGO's, Catholic Charities, and Lutheran Charities begging for more illegal and legal migrants?  Are they that stupid? In an alarming and heartbreaking incident, an esteemed member of the Tohono O'odham community was brutally shot down by Border Patrol agents last week. The tragic story exemplifies the dangerous reality for many Americans living near the border, where instead of providing safety, law enforcement becomes a lethal threat.

Raymond Mattia, a respected and deeply loved man of the Tohono O'odham tribe, fell victim to this predicament when he was killed by the very forces he called upon for assistance. According to his anguished family, Mattia dialed Border Patrol for aid when he observed a group of illegal immigrants trespassing on his property in the village known as Menegers Dam, only a few miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. Instead of the assistance he sought, Mattia was met with an onslaught of gunfire that ended his life.

In their grief and shock, the family now seeks answers. How could a situation that required assistance end so tragically? Why did a simple call for help result in a respected community member lying lifeless just two feet from his own front door?

On Tuesday, a U-Haul crashed into a barricade outside the White House grounds. Immediately, speculation that the driver was a “white supremacist” after a Nazi flag was allegedly pulled from the wreck. In fact, the flag was spread out and displayed for reporters by the FBI agents on the scene.

Why did they do that? Someone will have to ask them, but the narrative became a lot more complicated after the driver was identified as Sai Varshith Kandula. Needless to say, he didn’t exactly fit the “white supremacist” profile.

Now, in a move that is sure to spark much speculation, the DOJ has suddenly downgraded the charges involved. The original charges were as follows.

While authorities have not provided specific details on the alleged threat, the US Park Police said the man faces the charge of threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a President, vice president or family member.

The driver also was also arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, destruction of federal property and trespassing, according to the Park Police.

According to a new report (The New York Post), those charges have all been wiped away, and Kandula only faces a single count of depredation of property of the United States.

Ron DeSantis tried claiming that he 'broke the internet' during his chaotic Twitter presidential campaign launch - but did so without breaking a smile. 

The Florida governor and aspiring president shrugged off the shambolic start in a follow-up video clip after the Twitter event, saying he 'broke the internet.' 

While the delivery was a joke and appeared to make light of the haywire announcement, DeSantis did not crack a smile - although he did manage a brief grimace as he ended his speech.

Since the day of the riots, chaos and vandalism that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021, speculation has swirled about the presence of undercover federal agents among the protesters. Now the Biden administration is admitting that dozens of Justice Department plants were present on January 6th, as well as dozens more FBI agents, Secret Service agents and who knows how many other law enforcement personnel.

Jimmy notes that he has been consistent in his insistence that January 6 was a fed operation from the start and that this latest revelation represents complete vindication for that belief.

A human trafficker was caught on camera dropping a 4-year-old child from a height of about 30 feet over the border wall in San Diego, according to a border official.

The incident occurred a week before the video’s release, and footage of the crime was shared on Twitter by Chief of Border Patrol Raul Ortiz. Agents and emergency service personnel responded to the scene and administered first aid to the child. According to Ortiz, gunshots were reported in the immediate vicinity while the agents and EMS cared for the child. “Remarkably, the child is ok! Do not trust smugglers!” Ortiz wrote in the caption of the video.

In yesterday's press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre expressed staunch criticism against Florida's controversial policies and their impact on marginalized communities.

Although Jean-Pierre did not comment directly on the travel advisories recently issued by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), she did not shy away from expressing the administration's disapproval of actions by Florida's lawmakers.

Jean-Pierre stated, "So I'm not going to comment on the travel advisory specifically, but I'll say this broadly and where we have been as administration as the White House, we've been outspoken about the impact of misguided policies" in the state.

In Japan a 14-year-old girl died from multiple organ inflammation just 45 hours after getting her third dose of the Pfizer vaccine. A report conducted by researchers from Tokushima University Graduate School in Japan says the girl took the shot on August 10, 2022 and died shortly afterward. The study found the girl was “healthy by nature” and was active on her middle school athletic team.

The direct involvement of the NATO member states in the Ukrainian crisis increases the risk of a nuclear conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.

"De jure, NATO countries are directly involved in the conflict on the side of Kiev. Such an irresponsible line significantly increases the threat of a direct military clash between nuclear powers," Lavrov said at an international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues taking place in the Moscow region.

Russia's top diplomat added that Moscow has called on the US and the EU to abandon unilateral forceful decisions to reduce tensions in the world.

Commander of the Ukrainian armed forces Gen. Valery Zaluzhny received a head injury and shrapnel wounds as a result of Russia's missile strike in early May, a representative of Russian law enforcement agencies told Sputnik on Wednesday, citing Ukraine military sources.

"First aid was provided Zaluzhny in Nikolayev in order to stop the bleeding. He had a cranial trepanation done in the Kiev military hospital," the representative said.

The condition of the Ukrainian commander-in-chief is complicated by the presence of an underlying disease of Type 2 diabetes, the source said.

The Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Criminal Investigation (CI) unit will launch a pilot program in June in which cyber attachés will be sent across four continents to combat cybercrime, the agency announced on May 18.

This initiative focuses on cracking down on tax and financial crimes involving cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, peer-to-peer payments, and mixing services. It signals the IRS’s commitment to staying one step ahead of cybercriminals in the digital landscape.

The program will be from June to September 2023, in which cyber attachés will be stationed in strategic locations worldwide. The chosen cities for deployment include Sydney, Singapore, Bogota, and Frankfurt, covering the regions of Australia, Asia, South America, and Europe, respectively.

A father in Anne Arundel County was killed while protecting his children from a fight that started at a middle school and came to their home. Christopher Michael Wright, 43, was killed while protecting his children from a fight that started Friday at Brooklyn Park Middle School and was brought to his doorstep in Anne Arundel County, his family told 11 News. Wright's fiancée, Tracy Karopchinsky, told 11 News that her 14-year-old son got into a fight with another teen Friday afternoon at the school and that three teens and two adults came to her house looking for her son but encountered Wright outside.
