UC Davis nearly doubles strategic communications budget following string of negative incidences against the university’s image

According to documents obtained by the Sacramento Bee, UC Davis spent at least $175,000 trying to repair its image following an incident in Nov. 2011 in which a campus police officer pepper-sprayed student protesters on the Quad.

The aggressive public relations campaign sought to rehabilitate the university’s public image through primarily erasing mentions of the pepper-spray incident and Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi on online search engines, according to the documents.

The documents revealed that in Jan. 2013, UC Davis signed a deal with Nevins & Associates, a Maryland-based public relations firm, for a six-month long contract. The contract, which paid Nevins $15,000 a month, was signed with the objective “to expedite the eradication of references to the pepper spray incident in search results on Google for the university and the Chancellor.”

Stormy Daniels, the pornographic film actress at the center of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s prosecution against former President Donald Trump, is emblematic of the stereotypes attached to her industry. A lengthy biographical sketch published in New York Magazine‘s Intelligencer reveals a woman motivated by a need for constant attention, greed, petty vindictiveness, and — by her own admission — mental illness.

In her own words, Daniels contradicts her recollection of events surrounding her alleged affair with former President Trump. She plays up fictitious threats and carefully assumes the role of someone who faced grave injustice — despite no crime ever being committed against her. The National Pulse has pulled some of the more relevant passages that shed important light on the motivations and dubious credibility of Stormy Daniels.

“I’M SIGNIFICANTLY MORE CRAZY.”

In a 2023 interview, shortly after former President Trump was charged with falsifying business records to cover up alleged “hush money” payments to Daniels just days before the 2016 election, the porn actress acknowledged that her mental health had declined. “I’m significantly more crazy now than I was before,” Daniels said.

The adult film industry has been accused of routinely taking advantage of women with untreated mental health issues. A 2011 psychiatric study comparing women in the porn industry with the average woman in California found a stark deviation in mental health. One-third of respondents in the adult film industry met the criteria for a depression diagnosis. Just 13 percent of women in California met the same criteria overall. Additionally, women in the porn industry were by and large more likely to have experienced poverty, sexual abuse, and other forms of violence than the average woman in California.

A globally esteemed professor has given an explosive testimony during a federal government hearing in Germany to warn that the Covid pandemic was a hoax.

Prof. Stefan Homburg testified before top officials that the COVID-19 pandemic did not begin in 2020 as the world has been led to believe.

While addressing the Corona Symposium in the Bundestag, Homburg explained that the coronavirus did emerge in 2019.

However, he said that it simply took the place of regular influenza and the virus was no more severe.

The world-renowned German professor cited data showing no increase in mortality rates during 2020, the first pandemic year.

Yet, data shows that deaths only started increasing in 2021, after the Covid mRNA shots were rolled out for public use.

Two weeks before the 2016 election, I unwittingly played a bit part in Stormy Daniels’ shakedown of Donald Trump. I ran FoxNews.com as Stormy and her cohorts pushed us to write a story about her affair with him.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes story that few people know.

Stormy's actions were textbook extortion, which, unlike records violations, is an honest-to-goodness felony in New York.

Team Stormy wasn’t after a Pulitzer. They were after a payday, and they were using the media as leverage to force Trump’s hand in the final stretch before Election Day.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s fixer, had already promised to pay Stormy $130,000 to keep her mouth shut about the alleged fling from a decade earlier. But he was stalling on cutting the check as negotiations dragged on. She was smart enough to know that Trump often stalled payments forever, and that if, as most expected, he lost the 2016 race, she’d never see a penny.

So, Stormy’s crew started shopping the story to outlets like us at Fox, Slate, and others. They knew we would contact the campaign for a response, which we did, and that it would ramp up the pressure on Cohen to finally pay up.

Stormy herself, the porn actress at the center of it all, refused to go on the record and was publicly still denying the dalliance. Her manager was the only one willing to confirm it, with just two words: “It’s true.” That's all she would say. And even that had to be on background.

During a segment with other legal experts on CNN, CNN legal analyst Elie Honig said that adult film actress Stormy Daniels’ testimony on Tuesday at former President Donald Trump‘s New York City hush-money trial was “disastrous.”

In the case brought against Trump by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Trump is charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up payments made to individuals including Daniels to hide damaging information about Trump.

During her testimony, Daniels told the court about her alleged 2006 hotel rendezvous with Trump. While Honig said that Daniels’ claim was believable even though Trump has denied it, he said that the cross-examination could end up hurting the prosecution’s case.

Asked by the defense during the cross-examination if she hated Trump, Daniels said “yes.” When she was asked if she wants the former president to go to jail, she said, “if he is found guilty, absolutely” as she wants “him to be held accountable.”

The defense also brought up tweets suggesting she is not willing to pay $500,000 in legal fees to Trump after a failed defamation lawsuit.

“I will go to jail before I pay a penny,” one of the tweets read while another read “I don’t owe him shit and I’ll never give that orange turd a dime.”

According to Honig, these questions brought up in the cross-examination and Daniels’ responses could pose a danger to the case against Trump.

Another of Michael Cohen’s lies has come to light following a revelation made by former CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo.

Cohen is set to testify in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s ongoing criminal case against former president Donald Trump. Cohen, a convicted felon and the prosecution’s star witness, will testify against the former president and his testimony could go a long way in deciding Trump’s fate.
