The Democrats’ massive climate spending and tax bill gave the Department of Agriculture (USDA) $2.2 billion in loans to pay farmers, many of whom are black, who have previously been denied USDA loans due to discrimination.
The provision, which was backed by Democratic Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Raphael Warnock of Georgia, is intended to provide financial assistance to farmers, ranchers or forest landowners that the department determines to have experienced discrimination in USDA farm lending programs before Jan. 1. 2021, according to the bill’s text. Although the funding could go to any farmer that the government has discriminated against, such as white women or members of the LGBTQ community, the money is primarily intended to rectify the historic denial of loans to black farmers, accordingto The Wall Street Journal.
Another of the bill’s provisions will allocate $3.1 to help farmers of any race who are facing financial hardship and also have a direct or guaranteed loan with the USDA. Democrats quietly abandoned their original plan in August to give $4 billion to black farmers as part of the March 2021 Covid relief bill after white farmers filed a lawsuit against the funding, saying it was unconstitutional to exclude white farmers based on race, according to Bloomberg Law.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton ran out of his house and jumped into a truck driven by his wife, a state senator, to avoid being served a subpoena to testify Tuesday in an abortion access case, according to court documents.
A process server wrote in an affidavit that he was attempting to deliver the federal court subpoena Monday at Paxton's home and ultimately had to leave the document on the ground. He said the Republican avoided him for more than an hour from inside his house, then dashed toward the truck and the couple drove off.
Paxton, who is facing a variety of legal troubles as he seeks to win a third term in November, said he avoided the server out of safety concerns and said the news media should be ashamed for reporting on what happened.
But Gates is still worried about domestic polarization in the U.S., which he sees little hope for in the short-term. “I admit that political polarization may bring it all to an end, we’re going to have a hung election and a civil war,” he said. “I have no expertise in that, I’m not going to divert my money to that because I wouldn’t know how to spend it.”
Notice that’s a declarative statement, not “I think or it might be.” He’s saying it as if it’s a fait accompli. He doesn’t say what he bases that on. He obviously thinks it’s pretty serious because he says, “it may bring it all to an end.” But instead of saying he would do something to try to alleviate that polarization which he thinks might bring everything to an end, he says he’s not going to put his money into “that,” like it’s an investment opportunity that he doesn’t want to get involved in. If you thought that everything was about to end, would that be the way you would respond? Gates will, however, put his money into trying to eliminate “the diseases that make the world inequitable, to bring those largely to an end.” Assuming the polarization doesn’t end it all. He’s also become the largest farmland owner in the United States, which doesn’t sit well with real farmers like Will Harris.
For around 60 years, the United States published an annual study called the World Military Expenditures and Arms Transfers (WMEAT) report. The document provided detailed information on global arms transfers, defense spending, and a range of other military-related topics.
For reasons that remain unclear, last year’s defense spending bill put an end to the report. The State Department published its final edition last month, quietly marking the end of an era in military disclosures.
“At one point in history, the WMEAT report was the model for transparency around the world,” Jeff Abramson of the Arms Control Association said, noting the importance of its Cold War-era origins.
Of course, the report wasn’t perfect. Experts say WMEAT tended to overcount military sales in misleading ways, among other things. But its demise is part of a larger shift away from transparency in military affairs, according to experts who spoke with Responsible Statecraft. In recent years, civil society has lost access to some of the most detailed information about which American weapons are being exported, where they’re going, and how they’re being used — crucial gaps given that U.S. companies account for almost 40 percent of global arms exports.
On September 28th, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as the authorities of the territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions controlled by the Russian military, summed up the results of referenda on joining Russia.
As a result of the voting that took place in the regions on September 23-27, 98.42% citizens of the LPR voted for joining Russia: in the DPR, 99.23% of the population supported the decision to join Russia; in the Kherson region, 87.05% voted ‘Yes’ for independence from Ukraine joining Russia; in the Zaporozhye region, 93.11% voted for creation of independent state and joining Russia.
The Kherson and Zaporozhie region intend to declare their independence within the administrative borders, i.e. including the territories that are currently under control of the Ukrainian military.
The total turnout in the LPR, was 92.6%; in the DPR, 97.51%; in the Kherson region, 76.86%, and in Zaporozhye, in was 85.4%.
Polling stations were opened on the territories of the voting regions and abroad. In 84 Russian regions, there were about 600 polling stations, most of them were located in the south of Russia, as most of the refugees were located there. In total, more than 4 million people have arrived in Russia from Ukraine since February, said Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova.
On the night of September 26, a sharp drop in pressure was recorded in line A of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline due to a hole in the pipe. In the evening of the same day, the Nord Stream control center recorded a pressure drop in both lines of the gas pipeline, the press service of the Nord Stream operator company reported.
Ulrich Lissek, a representative of the Nord Stream 2 AG pipeline operator, clarified that the pressure dropped from 105 to 7 bar due to a hole in the pipe.
The Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines pass through the exclusive economic zones and territorial waters of Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Judging by the map published on the website of Gazprom, both branches of the Nord Stream pass near the southeastern side of Bornholm Island, while the leak is recorded to the northeast. The gas leaks occurred near the Nord Stream gas pipeline northeast of Bornholm Island, the Danish Maritime Administration said.
It is just a coincidence. The Baltic Sea is bubbling with gas escaping from the pipelines of the two Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines but it is only a coincidence that US President Joe Biden, on 7 February, in a joint conference with German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz, threatened to block those lines.
Talking with the German colleague, U.S. President Joe Biden warned that if Russia invades Ukraine, there would be no Nord Stream 2, but did not specify how he would go about ensuring the controversial pipeline would not be used. Speaking at a joint news conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Biden said, “If Russia invades… again, then there will be longer Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” When asked how he would do that, he responded, “I promise you we will be able to do it.”
Biden’s prophecy has come true. According to the reconstructions of the Danish government, the two lines of the Nord Stream, 1 and 2, suffered “unprecedented” damage in three places in the stretch of the Baltic Sea between Denmark and Sweden. The Ukrainian and Polish governments and the US administration speak of sabotage by the Kremlin. But they have no proof.
According to the US government, gas leaks from Nord Stream are under investigation, as early reports indicate that they were caused by an attack. With this statement, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, on the sidelines of a press conference held in Washington, hinted that the Russian government was involved in the damage. NATO is also closely monitoring the situation in the Baltic Sea. The allies are examining the circumstances of the gas leaks and exchanging information, including with Finland and Sweden, “an Atlantic Alliance official explained, referring to the gas leaks from the Nord Stream pipeline.
The submarine explosions would have hit three lines of the pipeline and according to the German operator that manages the network “it is impossible at this moment to estimate the timing for the resumption of the restoration operations” of the infrastructure. Gas leaks from Nord Stream pipelines are expected to last “at least a week” according to the Danish government. For Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, the damage was caused by “deliberate acts”.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive in the Kharkiv region and in the north of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republic. After the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, as well as amid worsening weather conditions, the Ukrainian military are rushing to get to the Russian military communication lines and cut them in order to threaten Russian forces in the whole region.
Ukrainian units recently managed to break through Russian defenses north of Krasny Estuary and establish control over several villages in the area. Russian military positions in Krasny Liman remain the main Russian stronghold in the region. Russian units in Krasny Liman and Yampol have been repelling attacks by superior enemy forces for more than a week. The AFU are attacking from the western direction, from their positions in Shurovo, as well as from the south, from the positions in Ozernoe.
The villages of Novoselovka, Drobishevo and Shandrigolovo also remain under Russian control. The AFU are attacked in small groups of up to 10-15 soldiers on armored vehicles, which are shelled by Russian artillery.
The road between the settlements is under Ukrainian fire control. The supply of the Russian grouping in Krasny Liman is carried out from the north-eastern direction, along the Svatovo-Makeyevka-Terny road, which is also in danger of being cut off amid the ongoing Ukrainian offensive.
The best western journalists are overwhelmingly despised while the worst are acclaimed millionaires. Western civilization is built on lies, dependent on lies, powered by lies. Don’t seek widespread approval. It’s worthless.
Live long enough and you’ll learn that the people who’ll really hurt you and screw you over aren’t the obvious, overt monsters but the sly manipulators who smile to your face. The US empire is a sly manipulator smiling and posturing as the good guy by contrasting itself with overt monsters.
As our consciousness has expanded it’s become unacceptable to be seen as an overt tyrant by the public, but that just meant the emergence of a sneakier form of tyranny. The age of the brute gave way to the age of the manipulative bitch. This manipulative bitch of an empire has been instigating and orchestrating violence at mass scale and then using its unrivaled narrative control machine to blame the violence on other powers. And its provocations are only getting more and more aggressive and more and more dangerous.
If humanity meets its end, it will come not at the hands of the overt monsters but the sly manipulators. The trajectory toward the horrifying global conflict we appear to be fast approaching was set by the manipulative bitch of the US-centralized empire.
Just like Barack Obama famously said, “Never underestimate Joe’s ability to f*ck things up.”
The unpopular US VP is meeting with Asian leaders and will visit the DMZ in Korea later this week.
Three leaks on Russia’s Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea on Monday are suspected as sabotage according to U.S. and European leaders and analysts. Sweden reported detecting explosions early Monday morning and Monday evening, with the morning one registering 1.9 on the Richter scale and the evening explosion 2.3.
Billionaire George Soros is that rare megalomaniac who not only believes he’s a god but revels in behaving like one. “It’s a sort of a disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out,” he once boasted to The Independent.
This god complex, combined with his downright amorality and bizarre ideas about society, makes the 92-year-old extremely dangerous to democracies, especially America.
The warning comes loud and clear in Matt Palumbo’s recent book, The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros, which documents Soros’s decades of financial dealings, political operations, and nefarious networks.
Let's start with a quick recap of the hoax story. A 20-year-old boy named Adam Lanza, at his home in Newtown CT, shot his Mom dead, on the morning of Friday, December 14, 2012, using a rifle from her collection. He then proceeded to drive to the Sandy Hook school, arriving by 9:30am, where he broke a glass door to get in. He then murdered 20 children ages 6 and 7, plus six staff members.
There are no video shots of this happening and no sound of it on the school's audio. A few people saw "holes in the story" early on. (Not me, I fell for it.)
Among the noisiest complainers, some were arrested, sued, or sacked -- respectively Wolfgang Halbig, James Fetzer, and James Tracy. An angry local, William Shanley was, we surmise, killed. I won't mention the conspiracy theorist Alex Jones as he is a gatekeeper; he has been part of the system all along. (I never fell for him.)
I call for the immediate arrest of all persons, including the "parents" and the media "reporters," who conjured up this "tragic" event. The only thing tragic about it is that it gave the US government time to string us along for ten years while they increased their lying. By this point, the lies of Sandy Hook should be considered Olympic bronze medal material. (I'm saving the silver for the Boston Marathon bombing, and the gold for NIne-eleven.)
This article presents a six-part outline of the exhaustive sleuthing done by Wolfgang Halbig, a Florida guy who had been a state trooper -- and therefore knew what type of reports should have been logged in by police on that day in December 2012. He had also been a school safety consultant, so knew what kind of protections are standardly in place.
It’s tempting to interpret the Italian electoral results this past Sunday as voters merrily hurling a bowl of lush papardelle with wild boar ragu over the collective bland faces of the toxic unelected Euro-oligarchy sitting in Brussels.
Well, it’s complicated.
Italy’s electoral system is all about coalitions. The center-right Meloni-Berlusconi-Salvini troika is bound to amass a substantial majority in both the Parliament’s Lower House and the Senate. Giorgia Meloni leads Fratelli d’Italia (“Brothers of Italy”). The notorious Silvio “Bunga Bunga” Berlusconi leads Forza Italia. And Matteo Salvini leads La Lega.
The established cliché across Italy’s cafes is that Giorgia becoming Prime Minister was a shoo-in: after all she’s “blonde, blue eyes, petite, sprightly and endearing”. And an expert communicator to boot. Quite the opposite of Goldman Sachs partner and former uber-ECB enforcer Mario Draghi, who looks like one of those bloodied emperors of Rome’s decadence. During his Prime Ministerial reign, he was widely derided – apart from woke/finance circles – as the leader of “Draghistan”.
On the financial front that otherworldly entity, the Goddess of the Market, the post-truth equivalent of the Delphi Oracle, bets that PM Giorgia will insist on the same old strategy: debt-funded fiscal stimulus, which will turn into a blowout in Italian debt (already huge, at 150% of GDP). All that plus a further collapse of the euro.
For decades the U.S. opposed European projects to receive energy from Russia. It wants Europe to buy more expensive U.S. oil and gas.

US plan was always to stop EU buying Russia's gas
Rice:"You want to change the structure of energy dependence. You want to depend more on the North America energy platform ... to have pipelines that don't go through Ukraine & Russia"
Europe's, and especially Germany's industry, depends on cheap energy from Russia. Without it Europe will be de-industrialized and go broke.
The U.S. had threatened to disable the pipelines connecting Europe to Russia.

Pres. Biden: "If Russia invades...then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it."
Reporter: "But how will you do that, exactly, since...the project is in Germany's control?"
Biden: "I promise you, we will be able to do that."
Currently the U.S. is winning its war on Europe's, mainly Germany's, industries and people. Yesterday's sabotage attack on the Nord Stream I and II pipelines, which are supposed to bring Russian natural gas to Germany, mean that the the war on Germany has entered its hot phase.
A question remains: Whodunnit?
This terrorist attack destroyed any chance of an energy-driven Russian-German rapprochement, immediately catapulted Poland into the position of being one of the continent’s most pivotal energy hubs, and thus took the Anglo-American Axis' plans for dividing and ruling Europe to the next level.
The unprecedented damage done to the Nord Stream pipelines Monday night was certainly an act of sabotage exactly as Denmark, Germany, Poland, and Russia suspect, though nobody can agree on who carried out this ecological terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea. Kiev, however, predictably blamed Russia for destroying its own pipeline in a remix of its earlier conspiracy theory alleging that Russia regularly bombs the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant that’s also under its control. That ridiculous scenario can therefore reasonably be ruled out, especially since Moscow could just keep the tap turned off for technical reasons without risking getting caught sabotaging its own pipelines in NATO-controlled waters.
A conservative, Indiana-based lawyer filed a lawsuit against the Biden Regime on Tuesday in an effort to block Joe Biden’s unconstitutional student loan forgiveness program.
In the US, we proudly point to the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights that was adopted in 1791:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
We believe that our freedom of speech and of the press are two of the ways the US differs from more dictatorial nations such as Germany under the Nazis and the former Soviet Union.
Unfortunately, these freedoms are not as absolute as they sound. As Howard Zinn pointed out in an excellent piece that should be read by all, we cannot rely on this amendment to protect our freedoms of speech or press. For example, just seven years after the Bill of Rights was adopted, the John Adams administration thought that war with France was a strong possibility. Congress then passed the Alien and Sedition Acts that explicitly abridged these freedoms. The Sedition Act made it a crime for American citizens to “print, utter, or publish…any false, scandalous, and malicious writing” about the government. Fortunately, the Sedition Act expired in 1801.
A 14-year-old boy was killed and four other teenage boys were wounded in Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon as they were shot at by two people in a Ford Explorer while leaving a high school football scrimmage at Roxborough High School with two other teams, Northeast High School and Boys Latin Charter. Dozens of bullets were reported to have been fired at the student players.
Darren Beattie is a former White House speech writer and the founder of Revolver News.
He says the United States is exporting woke ideology around the world to destabilize foreign nations. It’s also being used to destabilize the U.S., he says.
At the 2022 National Conservatism Conference, he talked to NTD about how he thinks it’s easier for most people to just go along with woke trends rather than oppose them.
“Every dominant institution in the United States is woke. And so to a certain degree, simply to get by professionally, one has to be woke. As a matter of psychology, it’s a lot easier to actually believe what you perform than live a lie every day. And so I think people have an incentive to actually genuinely believe it. And most people are not inherently political. And so they just go along, like anyone else, with what the dominant ideology is.”
The Biden economy is in full swing and after destroying the stock markets, the bond markets, and people’s paychecks due to inflation, the housing market is now in the tank too.
Russia’s February 24 invasion was an unnecessary, criminal war.
But so was America’s 14 year campaign to weaken Russia through proxy war.
How? By encouraging NATO membership for Ukraine since back in 2008. Worse, by helping Ukrainian ultranationalists depose Russian friendly Ukraine president Victor Yanukovych in 2014. The latter crime ignited a civil war in the Donbas against Russian speaking Ukrainians. 14,000 lay dead with thousands of Ukraine’s best soldiers ready to finish off the Donbas this spring before Russia said enough and attacked. Doesn’t justify Russia’s war…just explains it.
After 215 days and upwards of a hundred thousand casualties, there is no end in view. That is because the US and its NATO followers are obsessed with continuing the war till Russia is vanquished, regardless of how many Ukrainians, but nary an American, must die in the quest. $60 billion in US treasure continues the war indefinitely when negotiations between Russia and Ukraine brokered by NATO member Turkey had potential to end the war in the first month. US and UK emissaries hurried to Kyiv in April to disabuse Ukraine president Zelensky of any notion to settle. And he didn’t.
John Fetterman released a dishonest ad today where he claims he made his community safer.
Something really strange just happened. On Monday, large underwater “explosions” were detected in the precise areas of the sea where the Nord Stream pipeline system is now leaking. In fact, the explosions were so large that they actually registered on the Richter scale. If someone wanted to purposely damage the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, very large explosions would be needed because those pipelines are extremely thick. So it appears that this was a deliberate act of sabotage, and that is what many European officials are now alleging. But if that is the case, who was behind it?
At this point we just don’t know.
But there are certain facts that we do have. The following are 15 things we know about the “mysterious explosions” that severely damaged the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines…
#1 We are being told that the sections where the pipelines were damaged are “70-90 meters below sea level”. So someone would need to go down pretty deep to get to them.
#2 It is extremely unlikely that these pipelines could have been ruptured by accident because they are extremely thick…
The steel pipe itself has a wall of 4.1 cm (1.6 inches) and is coated with steel-reinforced concrete up to 11cm thick. Each section of the pipe weighs 11 tonnes, which goes to 24-25 tonnes after the concrete is applied.
#3 It is being reported that explosions “were heard” in the areas where gas is now leaking out of the pipelines…
Explosions were heard near the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipes where gas is now leaking into the Baltic from three holes, scientists have confirmed, while chronic safety concerns have led to a five-mile exclusion zone being imposed around the affected area.
Two powerful underwater explosions were detected on Monday in the same area of sea as the Nord Stream gas leaks, according to the Swedish National Seismic Network.
The monitoring network said the first explosion occurred on Monday at 2:03 a.m. Swedish time with a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale, followed by a second at 7:04 p.m. on the same day with a magnitude of 2.3.
The messages are coming in loud and clear today – from the crashing pound, to repudiation of establishment governments in Italy, Sweden and more to come, to Hungarian Prime Minister Orban’s call to end the Sanctions War and do so pronto.
So let’s be clear: Washington’s dunderheaded intervention in the intramural spat between Russia and Ukraine and the accompanying global Sanctions War is the surely the stupidest, most destructive project to arise from the banks of the Potomac in modern times. And the architects of this perfidious folly – Biden, Blinkin, Sullivan, Nuland, et. al. – cannot be condemned harshly enough.
After all, this madness is being pursued in the name of abstract policy norms – the rule of law and sanctity of borders – that make Washington a laughing stock. More than any other nation on planet earth (and by a long-shot), it has serially and blatantly violated these standards scores of times in recent decades.
Among other actions, Washington’s interventions in Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, etc. were not only pointless; they were also a self-evident violation of the very rule of law and sanctity of borders upon which Washington now beats its breasts ever more stridently.
It looks like what happened here is that the minority groups called for defunding campus police, the conservative student groups protested the proposal, and the police detained the conservative students. Does that make any sense?
The College Fix reports:
Protesting conservative students detained for ‘aggravating’ minority student groups
Several individuals from the Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Long Beach chapters of Turning Point USA were detained by campus cops after allegedly “aggravating” members of two minority student organizations.
According to the Daily Forty-Niner, the TPUSA students “surrounded the entrance” to the CSULB Latinx and Black Resource Center to voice their opposition to the Students for Quality Education’s advocacy for defunding the campus police.
Cal State Fullerton TPUSA President Marcos Zelada said he and his fellow protesters were “practicing their freedom of speech” against the defunding initiative.
Joe Biden's "promise" that "there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2" pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine is attracting new attention in the wake of the suspected sabotage of both Nord Stream 2 and Nord Stream 1.
"If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the -- the border of Ukraine again, then there will be -- there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2," Biden threatened during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in February. "We will bring an end to it."
"How will you do that exactly, since the project, and control of the project, is in Germany's control?" a reporter asked.
"We will -- I promise you -- we will be able to do it," Biden said, smirking.
Polish MEP Radoslaw Sikorski, who attended the Bilderberg meeting in DC earlier this year together with his arch-neocon wife Anne Applebaum, openly "thanked" the US for the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines in a post Tuesday on Twitter.
"Thank you, USA," Sikorski said on Twitter, sharing a photograph of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline leaking massive amounts of gas into the ocean off the coast of Denmark's Bornholm island.
