Thought for the day
"Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day. I really look with commiseration over the great body of my fellow citizens, who, reading newspapers, live and die in the belief that they have known something of what has been passing in the world." -- Thomas Jefferson, to John Norvell, June 14, 1807
Ukrainian government officials are teasing the likelihood of more strikes and 'sabotage operations' inside Russian controlled Crimea, after having cheered on at least two recent large explosions at military sites.
Kiev officials, including President Volodymyr Zelensky himself, are reportedly warning that all civilians should "stay away from potential targets" in Crimea. This follows the Kremlin on Tuesday admitting for the first time that the recent explosions were the "result of sabotage".
Following the latest incident, the Russia's defense ministry said, "On the morning of Aug. 16, as a result of an act of sabotage, a military storage facility near the village of Dzhankoi was damaged."
This is the clearest indication yet that in addition to the Dzhankoi munitions depot blast, the prior Aug.9 massive explosion at Russia's Saky airbase, some 200km deep inside, was also a Ukrainian attack - as some Ukrainian officials had already leaked to US newspapers.
The Saky airbase incident had also set off discussion over whether US-supplied HIMARS rockets could reach that far. If indeed there were foreign weapons systems behind it, it could set the US and Russia on a dangerous path of escalation and collision as the proxy war could fast develop into direct confrontation between superpowers in Ukraine.
A senior White House climate advisor has been sanctioned by the National Academy of Sciences for violating its ethics policies.
Axios reports that Jane Lubchenco, the deputy director for climate and environment at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, has been pulled up by the NAS for editing a paper later found to contain technical errors, as well as having worked with the scientists involved in it, one of which turned out to be her brother-in law.
After more than two years of missteps and backpedaling over Covid-19 guidance that had a profound effect on Americans' lives, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced on Wednesday that the agency would undergo a complete overhaul - and will revamp everything from its operations to its culture after failing to meet expectations during the pandemic, Bloomberg reports.
Director Rochelle Walensky began telling CDC’s staff Wednesday that the changes are aimed at replacing the agency’s insular, academic culture with one that’s quicker to respond to emergencies. That will mean more rapidly turning research into health recommendations, working better with other parts of government and improving how the CDC communicates with the public. -Bloomberg
"For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for Covid-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations," said Director Rochelle Walensky. "I want us all to do better and it starts with CDC leading the way. My goal is a new, public health action-oriented culture at CDC that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, communication and timeliness."
Federal Reserve officials saw 'little evidence' late last month that US inflation is easing and predicted it would remain elevated for 'some time', newly released minutes from July's policy meeting show.
The minutes released on Wednesday showed policymakers committed to raising rates as high as necessary to bring inflation under control, and acknowledging that they would have accept lower economic growth for that to happen.
Inflation has been running hot and remained near a 40-year high at 8.5 percent in July, despite a rapid series of jumbo interest hikes that have taken the Fed's policy rate from near zero to 2.5 percent.
Joe Rogan compared the hatred that the left has for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantisa to the hatred they have for former President Donald Trump in his latest podcast show.
Rogan was speaking with his guest Seth Dillon, the CEO of the Babylon Bee, when he was asked by Dillon if he thought DeSantis would be command more respect from the left than Trump.
"The left still hates him, but they don't hate him the same way they hated Trump. They tried to but he's more reasonable, he's very like level in the way he talks about things," said Rogan.
"He's firm though, I mean," Dillon interjected.
"Yes, but you know what I'm saying, like, he's not an insulting like character, like Trump's a character. Like part of what he's doing he's doing comedy, it's like he's doing standup when up there, when he makes fun of Biden and makes fun of other people. He's doing f***ing standup, he really is, and he kills," Rogan explained.
Climate science has been so suffocated by ideological zealotry it's becoming difficult just to find normal objective analysis these days. Any piece of data that contradicts the man-made climate change narrative is surrounding by a spin machine that either dismisses the information or obscures it in a deluge of global warming propaganda, inoculating the reader well before they get a chance to digest the news that maybe climate change is not all it's cracked up to be.
Whenever high temperatures are reported in the US or Europe the news is hyperinflated into wild theories of climate Apocalypse by the media, but weather history suggests that the panic is fabricated rather than justified. In fact, any hot weather event you can pick out in recent years is likely overshadowed by a much worse event decades or centuries before “man-made carbon pollution” was ever a thing.
For example, the media is frantic over the current drought and “record temps” in Europe this summer, warning that it could become the “worst drought” in 500 years. Of course, this claim opens the door to a question that climate scientists and propagandists don't want to answer: What happened 500 years ago?
A similar level of global warming hysteria was present during a heat wave in Europe in 2003, as well as in 2018. The few climate scientists still not bought and paid for by governments and the UN have had to point out that these droughts are nothing compared to the living hell that was the drought of 1540. This event is often termed a “mega-drought” because the region suffered historically hot temps while receiving almost no rain for a year.
Upset by Murkowski's vote to impeach him during his second impeachment trial, former President Donald Trump tossed his support behind Kelly Tshibaka. With 50% of precincts reporting, Murkowski topped Tshibaka in the open primary by about 1,500 votes. The top four finishers will advance to the general election due to recent changes to Alaska's voting laws, allowing the incumbent senator to advance to the general.
The Western globalists’ plans to crater their economies so they can finally exert full authoritarian control over their populations has been proceeding at a steady pace, but the African nation of Zimbabwe may have just provided some countries and even some U.S. states with an exit ramp.
According to reports, Zimbabwe began issuing one-ounce gold coins last month as a means of combatting rampant currency deflation, and it was so successful that the country is planning to begin issuing smaller denominations this fall.
“Following the successful launch of the gold coins on 25 July 2022 and in response to public demand, the bank shall introduce and release into the market gold coins in units of a tenth ounce, quarter ounce and half an ounce for sale with effect from mid-November 2022,” Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya said this week.

There are varying educated opinions about the true number of deaths caused by Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” worldwide. According to Steve Kirsch, a conservative estimate is around 12 million people, a figure 40 times higher than the number of Americans who died during World War II.
Kirsch says a reasonable way to estimate covid jab deaths is to divide the number of doses by 1,000. Based on the 600 million doses delivered just in the United States, this amounts to 600,000 deaths, which he says “is right in the ballpark.”
An even more conservative calculation is to divide the number of doses by 2,500. This is the method Mathew Crawford used to conclude that 411 people die per one million doses of shot administered. (Related: Remember when the medical establishment was doing everything possible to avoid autopsying the bodies of people who took covid “vaccines” from the likes of Pfizer?)
The Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines have killed between five million and 12 million people, according to entrepreneur Steve Kirsch.
Several commenters on Kirsch’s Substack page provided the breakdown of this figure, which the entrepreneur attested to. They quoted Our World in Data’s finding that 12.46 billion COVID-19 vaccines had been injected into people’s arms worldwide.
“In my opinion, a reasonable estimate is to divide the number of doses by 1,000. A more conservative number is to divide the number of doses by 2,500,” said Kirsch, who is also a vaccine safety advocate.
Dividing the 12.46 billion doses by the reasonable estimate of 2,500 yielded almost five million fatalities, while dividing that total by the conservative estimate of 1,000 yielded 12.46 million deaths. (Related: COVID vaccines are 7,402% deadlier than all other vaccines combined, warns UK Medicine Regulator.)
“That conservative estimate gets you to five million killed, only 16 times the number of Americans killed in World War II,” Kirsch remarked.
The “uber-rich” of the world have an “escape plan” in place for the upcoming food shortage apocalypse, and they aren’t even spending their own money to prepare. Most of the food “recalls” for salmonella, e-coli, and “metal shavings” found in products is actually just a way to divert storable foods to the freezers and basement pantries of the rich and elite, who are all planning well for the food shortage apocalypse.
Even Bloomberg News has reported that many of the world’s elite, including US government officials, are securing underground bunkers for riding out a new world war, another pandemic, or a nuclear holocaust.
The latest food recall to fit this bill was the frozen pizza recalled by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods, saying they found over 13,000 pounds of frozen meat pizza product “contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal.” And guess who’s getting ready for the next scamdemic right now? Yes, that’s right, Bill and Melinda Gates can’t fill their bunkers quick enough with frozen foods and clean water for the next plandemic. How many more food recalls are fake?
Webmaster addition: That would explain the pushing of insects as a food source for us non-elites!
We are now releasing ICP-MS lab test results that compare the elemental composition of human blood to the elemental composition of a clot sample taken from the body of a person who received a covid vaccination and then subsequently died. This clot was provided by embalmer Richard Hirschman, and these clots are being widely reported in the bodies of people who have “died suddenly” in the weeks or months after receiving one or more covid vaccinations.
According to rigorous analysis based on excess death data — summarized nicely by Steve Kirsh at Substack — there are currently around 10,000 people dying each day from covid vaccines. Anywhere from 5 to 12 million fatalities have likely occurred worldwide so far, and with these self-assembling clots continuing to gain size and mass inside the bodies of those who have received the mRNA experimental medicine injections, it is certain that many people who have not yet died from the vaccines will experience death in the coming months and years.
Kirsch has roughly estimated that 1 person is currently dead for every 1,000 doses of covid vaccines that are administered. This number will almost certainly increase with time, as the clots that are causing so much death appear to be continuing to “grow” (self-assemble) inside the blood vessels and arteries of vaccine victims. Thus, the final toll of covid vaccines will only be experienced over a period of several years and could be orders of magnitude higher, potentially 1 in 100 or even 1 in 10, although we will have to watch excess deaths carefully over the next several years to know where this post-vaccine death phenomenon levels out.
A British company that supplies water to around 10 million people a day in the London area has announced a "temporary use ban" starting next week in order to "ensure the taps keep running for customers’ essential use."
Thames Water says the restrictions that go into effect on Aug. 24 come as "the driest July since 1885, the hottest temperatures on record, and the River Thames reaching its lowest level since 2005 have led to a drop in reservoir levels in the Thames Valley and London."
"Domestic customers should not use [hoses] for cleaning cars, watering gardens or allotments, filling paddling pools and swimming pools and cleaning windows," the utility said in a statement.

The IRS has stockpiled 4,500 guns and five million rounds of ammunition in recent years, including 621 shotguns, 539 long-barrel rifles and 15 submachine guns.
The Veterans Administration (VA) purchased 11 million rounds of ammunition (equivalent to 2,800 rounds for each of their officers), along with camouflage uniforms, riot helmets and shields, specialized image enhancement devices and tactical lighting.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) acquired 4 million rounds of ammunition, in addition to 1,300 guns, including five submachine guns and 189 automatic firearms for its Office of Inspector General.
According to an in-depth report on “The Militarization of the U.S. Executive Agencies,” the Social Security Administration secured 800,000 rounds of ammunition for their special agents, as well as armor and guns.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) owns 600 guns. And the Smithsonian now employs 620-armed “special agents.”
This is how it begins.
In fall of 2021, I was just like any other student heading off to college for the first time. I was excited to extend my knowledge, create new friendships, and join clubs. I was also nervous about the financial toll that college would take on me. This was a huge investment into my future. In fact, this was my first financial investment, and I was hoping to get as much out of it as the pamphlets and college staff were promising. I was promised a decent education, opportunities to join an array of clubs, access to a state-of-the art gym, tutoring, and even help creating my own business. I was sold the college dream.
I chose not to get the Covid-19 vaccine after several months of personal research, listening to opinions from all sides, and sifting through the limited data available at the time. I was assured by my college that this would not be an issue and that I could partake in all of the opportunities promised to vaccinated students. However, on my very first day of school, I learned that my college was heavily pro-vaccine and strongly favored vaccinated students.
The first event new students were required to attend was a talk by the chancellor. After the chancellor gave an inspiring speech and welcomed us, she began speaking about the extra opportunities you would have if you were already vaccinated or got vaccinated soon and gave proof to the school. Not only would you get free school merchandise if you uploaded your vaccine card, but you would be entered to win hefty scholarships and even a brand new Moped. Stations were set up so you could get vaccinated at school if these prizes enticed you. This was blatant favoritism and the school obviously had an agenda, but that was to be expected at this government-funded institution.
The Slovalco aluminum smelter in Slovakia announced on Wednesday it will shut down primary production by the end of September.
“The decision to terminate primary aluminum production at Slovalco comes in response to adverse framework conditions and high electricity prices, which show no signs of improvement in the short term,” the plant’s majority owner, Norsk Hydro, said in a statement.
It explained that the Slovalco casthouse in central Slovakia is continuing its recycling operation, serving customers in the region with 75,000 tons of recycled aluminum annually.
More than a year and a half after Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines received U.S. emergency use authorization (EUA), the public is learning about negative clinical trial results related to pregnancy from Freedom of Information Act requests.
A crowdsourced review project led by deplatformed feminist Naomi Wolf discovered 22 of 50 pregnant women who took Pfizer's vaccine lost their pregnancies, which the company attributed to unnamed "other" causes than vaccination.
Meanwhile trial documents for Moderna's vaccine just obtained by Just the News reveal birth defects in some offspring of female rats given the vaccine.
"mRNA-1273-related variations in skeletal examination included statistically significant increases in the number of F1 rats with 1 or more wavy ribs and 1 or more rib nodules," says the toxicology section near the end of the 699-page FOIA production, provided to Just the News. "Wavy ribs appeared in 6 fetuses and 4 litters with a fetal prevalence of 4.03% and a litter prevalence of 18.2%. Rib nodules appeared in 5 of those 6 fetuses."
While it claimed skeletal variations are "structural changes that do not impact development or function of a developing embryo," Moderna acknowledged the connection to the vaccine. "Maternal toxicity in the form of clinical observations was observed for 5 days following the last dose ([gestation day] 13), correlating with the most sensitive period for rib development in rats (GDs 14 to 17)."
Ukraine plans to carry out artillery strikes on the Russia-controlled Zaporozhye nuclear power plant on Friday, and then accuse Russia of causing a disaster at the site, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
The predicted attack will be timed to coincide with the ongoing visit to Ukraine by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, the ministry claimed.
The Russian ministry said it has detected movements of Ukrainian troops, indicating a looming “provocation.”
Kiev has deployed units trained in responding to the use of weapons of mass destruction, pre-positioning them to report a radiation leak and demonstrate a purported action to mitigate it, Russian military spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
Many of the new spending bills signed into law by Joe Biden have provided financial benefits to companies and other clients who once retained the consulting services of top White House adviser Anita Dunn.
According to the Daily Caller, Dunn previously served as a consultant with the public affairs firm SKDK, which she founded in 2004. Her clients included companies such as Pfizer, AT&T, and Micron, among others. As a result, Dunn, who is now serving as a Senior Adviser in the Biden Administration, has been forced to recuse herself on any issues related to past clients.
“Both White House ethics officials and OGE reviewed and certified Ms. Dunn’s financial disclosure report (OGE Form 278), and, as is customary for all new employees, she has received rigorous counseling regarding her recusal obligations,” said White House spokesman Chris Meagher. “In addition to statutory/regulatory requirements, she is recused under the Ethics Pledge from participating in any particular matters involving SKDK and any clients that she worked for in the previous two years.”
The Democrats' "Inflation Reduction Act" - which according to the Congressional Budget Office will raise taxes on the middle class to the tune of $20 billion - not to mention unleash an army of IRS agents on working class Americans over the next decade, was made possible by Bill Gates and (in smaller part) Larry Summers, who have been known to hang out together.
The bill, of course, was signed yesterday.

In a Tuesday Bloomberg article that reads more like a newsletter for the Gates fan club, the billionaire Microsoft co-founder recalls how earlier this year, as moderate Democratic Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema continued to block the tax-and-spend legislation over concerns that it would raise taxes on the middle class (it will), Gates says he tapped into a relationship with Manchin that he'd been cultivating since at least 2019.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, has been fielding whistleblower allegations against officials at the Justice Department and FBI since last November.
Breitbart News spoke with Jordan and his staff about the whistleblowers after multiple reports circulated this week that took comments Jordan made on the matter during a recent television appearance out of context.
Jordan said Sunday to Fox News’s Trey Gowdy that 14 whistleblowers from within the FBI had come forward to his office:
Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people. There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that’s the problem. But some of these good agents are coming to us telling us this is bologna what’s going on, the political nature now of the Justice Department.
Several reports, such as ones from Just the News, Benny Johnson, Townhall, and others, wrongly associated the 14 whistleblowers with the FBI raid that occurred August 8 at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
The mobile billboards are a brainchild of standup-comic-turned- activist Randy Credico. Each one is 15 feet long and circulates around DC’s most famous landmarks, skewering the hypocrisy of Joe Biden, Merrick Garland, Jerald Nadler, Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats.
D.C. residents and tourists—as many as 40,000 a day—are stopping in their tracks, doing a double take, then breaking into big smiles whenever one of comic-turned-activist Randy Credico’s huge 100-square-foot billboards drives by.
Randy Credico talks about his Assange motorized billboard campaign with Grayzone founder Max Blumenthal.
Publicly shaming government officials this way, with ridicule and sarcasm, is being welcomed by D.C. residents as entertainment, since this is a city where political commentary is usually tedious, boring and ponderous—more likely to put you to sleep than make you perk up and smile.
One billboard features a blow-up of the infamous “fist-bump” that Joe Biden lovingly delivered to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on July 15, nakedly revealing Biden’s hypocrisy to the entire world. The billboard speech balloon has Joe Biden saying:
“Here’s the deal. I won’t mention Khashoggi if you don’t mention Assange.”
This is total moral hypocrisy on Biden’s part.
It has been almost one year since the FDA gave full approval to Pfizer’s mRNA COVID injection. Yet many will be surprised to find out that this particular vaccine, in FDA approved form, has never actually existed, and will never exist. The Biden Administration’s highly touted FDA approval was a mere sleight of hand. It was bureaucratic trickery. There remains no FDA approved COVID vaccine that is actually available in the United States, and there may never be one.
On August 23, 2021, the FDA approved Pfizer’s Comirnaty shot, the FDA cleared version of the emergency use authorized Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
Marked as a turning point in the battle against the virus, the Biden Administration, Government Health agencies, and Pfizer went on a full PR blitz to crush what they deemed “vaccine hesitancy.” Big Tech and media “fact checkers” also joined in on the mRNA uptake blitz campaign, with all of these forces maintaining a false reality in which FDA approved vaccines were readily available.
What do the Federal Reserve and neoconservatives have in common? They both refuse to admit that their policies — the neocons’ promotion of perpetual war and the Fed’s manipulation of the money supply — are complete failures, having produced the opposite of the promised results.
The latest example of the Federal Reserve engaging in Bill Kristol-like levels of denial is the Fed’s continued insistence that the return of 70s-style inflation is a “transitory” phenomenon resulting from the end of the lockdowns. The Fed has acknowledged the “transitory” inflation will last until at least 2022, yet it is still determined to keep interest rates at or near zero until the “jobs situation” improves.
To be fair, the Fed has finally announced plans to cut back on its money-pumping activities by reducing by 15 billion dollars a month its monthly purchase of 80 billion dollars of Treasury bonds and 40 billion dollars of mortgage-backed assets.
The Affordable Care Act, No Child Left Behind, and the USA PATRIOT Act received new competition for the title of Most Inappropriately Named Bill when Senate Democrats unveiled the Inflation Reduction Act. This bill will not only increase inflation, it will also increase government spending and taxes.
Inflation is the act of money creation by the Federal Reserve. High prices are one adverse effect of inflation, along with bubbles and the bursting of bubbles. One reason the Federal Reserve increases the money supply is to keep interest rates low, thus enabling the federal government to run large deficits without incurring unmanageable interest payments.
The so-called Inflation Reduction Act increases government spending. For example, the bill authorizes spending hundreds of billions of dollars on energy and fighting climate change. Much of this is subsidies for renewable energy — in other words green corporate welfare. Government programs subsidizing certain industries take resources out of the hands of investors and entrepreneurs, who allocate resources in accordance with the wants and needs of consumers, and give the resources to the government, where resources are allocated according to the agendas of politicians and bureaucrats. When government takes resources out of the market, it also disrupts the price system through which entrepreneurs, investors, workers, and consumers discover the true value of goods and services. Thus, “green energy” programs will lead to increased cronyism and waste.
West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin recently claimed the 15 percent corporate minimum tax contained in the Inflation Reduction Act, which should be called the Inflation Creation Act, is not a tax increase. Instead, he claimed, the bill simply closes a loophole that allows corporations to avoid paying all the taxes they owe. Despite what Senator Manchin says, the fact is the new minimum tax increases the amount of money some corporations must hand over to the government; in other words, it increases their taxes.
It is common for politicians, policy wonks, and even some libertarians to demonize loopholes for making the tax system too complex, but loopholes are simply ways that individuals can keep more of their money. Loopholes are thus pro-liberty and pro-sound economics.
In addition to raising taxes, the Inflation Reduction Act provides 80 billion dollars to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Some of the money will go to improving taxpayer services so, for example, taxpayers may actually talk to a real person who can provide information about the tax law when they call the agency. But, over 50 percent will be spent on enforcement.
The IRS is expected to hire approximately 87,000 new agents. Supporters of the expansion say the IRS will use the enhanced enforcement capacity to target only “the rich.” However, it is not necessary to massively increase the IRS’s enforcement capacity just to go after “rich tax cheats.”
Furthermore, rich people and big corporations can hire attorneys and accountants to make sure they limit their tax liability while staying within the legal limits. They can also fight any attempt by the IRS to make them pay more. Middle- and working-class Americans are unable to afford legions of attorneys and accountants to limit their tax liability or fight the IRS, so they are more likely to pay whatever the IRS demands.
During the late 1960s, Mumia Abu-Jamal became a youth activist in the city of Philadelphia where a succession of racist police chiefs engaged in widespread abuse against the African American community.
Philadelphia has a centuries-long history of African self-organization dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries when the Free African Society, African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) and other institutions were formed by Richard Allen, Sarah Allen and Absalom Jones.
During mid-19th century, the Philadelphia Anti-Slavery Society provided avenues for men and women to build support for the Underground Railroad and the movement to completely eradicate involuntary servitude in the antebellum border and deep southern states. By the 1960s, the city became known as one of the first municipalities where African Americans would rise up in rebellion on the north side during the late August 1964.
Max Stanford (later known as Muhammad Ahmed), a co-founder of the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM) in 1962, was from Philadelphia. RAM proceeded the Black Panther Party (BPP) and sought to form an alliance with Malcolm X (also known as El Hajj Malik Shabazz), a leading spokesman for the Nation of Islam and later the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU). RAM advocated for the development of a revolutionary movement in the U.S. and consequently became a target of the Justice Department.
Security guards for Florida Democratic Senate hopeful, Rep. Val Demmings, appear to have pushed a man to the ground at a campaign event earlier this month.
FloridaPolitics.com reported Tuesday on the incident, sharing two videos of the encounter, which the site said the Brevard County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
