Thought for the day

An Australian historian has uncovered hidden documents which reveal that African American troops used machine guns to attack their white officers in a siege on a US base in north Queensland in 1942.

Information about the Townsville mutiny has never been released to the public.

But the story began to come to light when James Cook University's Ray Holyoak first began researching why US congressman Lyndon B Johnson visited Townsville for three days back in 1942.

What he discovered was evidence detailing one of the biggest uprisings within the US military.

"For 70 years there's been a rumour in Townsville that there was a mutiny among African-American servicemen. In the last year and a half I've found the primary documentation evidence that that did occur in 1942," Mr Holyoak told AM.

An attorney for ex-police officer Derek Chauvin who made headlines in the murder case of George Floyd, says his client did not get a fair trial.

Attorney William Mohrman noted that procedural and legal errors prevented Chauvin’s right to a fair trial. On May 25, 2020, George Floyd died after then-police officer Chauvin pinned him down for 9 ½ minutes with a knee to his neck during an attempt to arrest him.

The alleged suspect had resisted multiple officers’ commands before being pinned. Videos of the incident sparked a wave of national riots and protests. The former officer was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter and sentenced to 22 ½ years by Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill.

Chauvin later pled guilty to a federal civil rights charge and is serving his 21-year federal sentence concurrently in a federal Arizona prison with his state sentence. According to News Nation Now, Mohrman said:.

“The primary issue on this appeal is whether a criminal defendant can get a fair trial consistent with constitutional requirements in a courthouse surrounded by concrete block, barbed wire, two armored personnel carriers, and a squad of National Guard troops.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is unequivocal: there’s no substitute for sending tanks to Ukraine.

With the country bracing for a possible, multi-pronged Russian offensive, or at least localized operations, the clock is ticking to build up defenses around strategic positions.

The U.S. Congress agreed to send a Patriot missile battery as part of Kyiv’s latest $2 billion security assistance package. But more isolationist members of the Republican caucus aren’t happy. Chief among them is controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

In a shock to the world, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced her resignation at the Labour party’s annual caucus meeting Thursday (1/19/23).

Ardern said she “no longer had enough in the tank” to do the job. “It’s time,” she added. “I’m leaving because with such a privileged role comes responsibility – the responsibility to know when you are the right person to lead and also when you are not. I know what this job takes. And I know that I no longer have enough in the tank to do it justice. It’s that simple,” she said. — The Guardian

While mainstream Republicans increasingly back Greene’s push to audit U.S. aid to Ukraine, there’s plenty of pushback to her intransigence on providing the fledging democracy with more firepower to inflict further damage on the Russian Armed Forces and Vladimir Putin’s global standing.

While Democrat Party leaders have long been open leftists, the party itself thrived on the fact Democrat voters themselves were largely moderates.

new Gallup poll finds that is no longer the case, and the Democrat Party is now a fully leftist organ driven by its white base.

Gallup’s latest poll of national political identification finds a record high 54 percent of Democrats now identify as “liberal,” a term once viewed even by many Democrats with derision.

Only 36 percent of Democrats identify as “moderate” and just 10 percent as “conservative.”

That’s an almost complete flip of what Gallup found in 1994 when it first began measuring partisan political views.

Over the years, the European Union has taunted food manufacturers, but especially chefs and restaurateurs, with increasingly absurd labeling requirements. Listing allergens at every sausage stand would save lives. But when it comes to products from the dearest lobby friends, labeling and allergies are no longer important. Animal meal is banned as a food because of the danger of BSE - but insect meal is condoned without any empirical values and a significant dose of cyanide is allowed in the same preparation, writes .

The social media is circulating that the substance chitin, a sugar compound that makes up the exoskeleton of insects, is poisonous and dangerous in itself. Accepting this claim uncritically is problematic, because it again plays into the hands of the semi-skilled sociology dropouts of the various fact-checkers. Because chitin in itself shouldn't be the problem.

Can humans digest chitin at all?

Until a few years ago, chitin, which is found in insects and fungi, was considered indigestible to humans. This information can still be found on the website of the Austrian Federal Government . Indigestible means that the body cannot extract nutrients from it; an indigestible substance is excreted unchanged. So it is not toxic or dangerous. In fact, humans have fed on insects throughout evolution. This is especially true for sub-Saharan Africans, and to a lesser extent for Northern Europeans.

Therefore, in the course of evolution, man has acquired the ability to convert chitin and use it as a food component. This is done by chitinase, which occurs more or less in human stomach fluid. More in people from evolutionary lines who in the past more often resorted to insect food, less in Northerners. A scientific study on this finding can be found here . It is well established that chitin does not make a significant contribution to human nutrition.

The New York Times has filed numerous reports about Congressman Santos since he was first elected to Congress. They have detailed many stories about him and what his actual background and story are. They must dig into the bottom of things like this, but it is fair to say that Santos has become a national joke after all of the different lies about his background have begun to surface.

Some wondered if Santos might be expelled from the House due to his constant fabrications about his life. This is still possible, but many doubt it will pass because his vote is critically needed in the House for almost any legislation to move forward. Not only that, but there is a strong likelihood that the seat would flip to a Democrat if it were to go to a special election. Thus, it seems unlikely that Republicans will kick Santos out at this time.

Investigators questioned the Supreme Court justices as they sought to track down the person who leaked Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization last year, but did not force them to sign affidavits.

Alito said late last year that the leak of the draft in May 2022 made the “majority in support of overruling Roe and Casey targets for assassination because it gave people a rational reason to think they could prevent that from happening by killing one of us.”

Supreme Court Marshal Gail Curley said in a statement on Friday that she “spoke with each of the Justices, several on multiple occasions.”

“The Justices actively cooperated in this iterative process, asking questions and answering mine,” she claimed. “I followed up on all credible leads, none of which implicated the Justices or their spouses.”

Jamie Lee Curtis just issued a statement responding to criticism earlier this week about a strange piece of art in her home.

“Last week I posted a picture of some chairs that included a photograph on the wall by an artist that was gifted to me 20 years ago,” she wrote as an explanation. “I understand it has disturbed some people. As I have said, I am a truth teller, so here’s the truth.”

She went on to defend the photo.

“It’s a picture of a child, taken by her mother, of her playing in their backyard in a tub of water. Nothing more, nothing less. I took down the post because I didn’t want to keep something up that upset anyone,” she wrote.

Google announced plans to dismiss thousands of employees days after the White House dismissed concerns about the layoffs sweeping the technology sector.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai informed the company on Friday that some 12,000 positions would be eliminated as a result of macroeconomic turmoil. The layoffs will impact approximately 6% of the company’s workforce of nearly 187,000.

“Over the past two years we’ve seen periods of dramatic growth. To match and fuel that growth, we hired for a different economic reality than the one we face today. I am confident about the huge opportunity in front of us thanks to the strength of our mission,” Pichai said in a memo. “To fully capture it, we’ll need to make tough choices. So, we’ve undertaken a rigorous review across product areas and functions to ensure that our people and roles are aligned with our highest priorities as a company. The roles we’re eliminating reflect the outcome of that review.”

2020 study was the first of its kind to use an animal model to examine the potential neurological and psychiatric effects of puberty-blocking drugs — 22 years after doctors began prescribing them to gender dysphoric adolescents on an experimental basis.

The results found that treatment with leuprolide, the drug used to suppress puberty, had “profound effects” of increased depression in female mice; in male mice, increased stress and a loss of interest in female mice were reported.

“Our behavioral and neurobiological characterization reveals for the first time that chronic leuprolide treatment, starting after the onset of puberty, exerts sex-specific effects on social preference, despair-like behavior and hyponeophagia, neuroendocrine responses to mild stress, and hyperactivity of the [dentate gyrus], a crucial neurobiological regulator of stress responses in mice,” the paper reads.

Dr. Anthony Fauci infamously used propaganda, lies, and manipulation to coerce parents into getting their children vaccinated. In the aftermath of those shots, 118,000 youths “died suddenly” by October of 2022.

The truth about the Covid vaccine’s safety had been buried deep within Fauci’s own lies and deceit and confidential United States Government and Pfizer documents. A secret Centers for Disease Control (CDC) report has revealed that nearly half a million children and young adults died within a year of Fauci’s fateful announcement that younger people can also be “vaccinated” for COVID-19. Over 1118,000 of those deaths are suspected to be due to the Covid-19 vaccine’s dangerous side effects, according to reports found by The Daily Exposé.

Thanks to an institution known as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OEC), some data can be analyzed about how these injections fare in the bodies of human beings.

The OEC is an intergovernmental organization with 38 member countries founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade. And for some reason, they host a wealth of data on excess deaths. You can find that data for yourself here.

A Michigan school board member is facing calls to resign over her inflammatory social media posts, including tweets that declared “whiteness is evil” and that white people are “more dangerous” than animals.

Kesha Hamilton, the school board member, defended herself at a tense Jackson Board of Education meeting on Tuesday as parents blasted her comments as “appalling” and “disgraceful,” while others showed their support, MLive reported.

In particular, parents took issue with Hamilton’s Dec. 18 tweet which read: “Whiteness is so evil. it manipulates then says, I won’t apologize for my dishonesty and trauma-inducing practices and thinks you should applaud it for being honest about its ability to manipulate and be dishonest.”

In another tweet from December, Hamilton wrote in response to a Twitter user “The last thing you have to worry about is an animal – though that could be a very real threat.. more dangerous are any whites you may see on the trail.. be safe!”

During the public portion of Tuesday’s meeting, many parents said the posts were divisive.

On Thursday, January 12, Maine CDC Director Nirav Shah announced that he would be leaving Maine and “answering the call” of US CDC Director Wilenski. He has been named as the Principle Deputy Director, filling the federal agency’s number 2 slot.

Much has could be and has been said about his short stint in Maine. The legacy media took to social networks to gush and fawn over Shah and Governor Mills issued a statement praising him for sharing “the unvarnished truth… as best we know it.”

There is so many directions that we could go to from Gov. Mills statement, each raising questions and pointing to data that demonstrate Shah’s incompetence or dishonesty. Perhaps the most notable way of understanding Dr. Shah’s legacy of obfuscation of true is to simply observe the last week of COVID-19 Vaccine Breakthrough Data that his office updates each week.

On the day Dr. Shah announced his departure, COVID-19 hospitalizations dropped significantly from 145 on 1/10 to 121 on 1/12.

In a recent interview with Charlie LeDuff and Karen Dumas on the January 16th episode of the podcast "No Bulls–t Newshour," Chris Cuomo, anchor of CNN's Cuomo Prime Time, made a shocking admission. Cuomo stated that he will "never be what he was" at CNN, leading many to question the state of the network and the credibility of its anchors.

The interview, which can be found on the podcast's website, is a candid and unfiltered conversation between Cuomo and the hosts. In it, Cuomo touches on a variety of topics, including the current state of the media, the role of anchors, and his own experiences at CNN.

One of the most striking statements made by Cuomo was when he said, "I will never be what I was at CNN. I will never be able to go back to that level of objectivity, that level of impartiality, that level of being able to separate myself from the story." He added, "I am a human being and I have biases, and that's just the way it is."

Sen. Lindsey Grahm (R-SC) in Ukraine on Friday called for more military aid to Ukraine, charging that the “world order is at stake.”

Graham said, “We will continue to ask the American people and the congress to send aid to Ukraine, economic aid and military aid to accomplish the objective of driving the Russian invader out of Ukraine.”

Sens. Graham, Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) met with U.S. officials and Ukrainian officials, including President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“To achieve that goal, the Ukrainian military needs tanks. I am tired of the s*** show surrounding who is going to send tanks and when are they going to send them. Putin is trying to rewrite the map of Europe by force of arms. World order is at stake,” the South Carolina senator said.

One billion people should stop eating meat in order to save the climate, the chairman of the largest industrial manufacturing company in Europe told a panel at the World Economic Forum.

Danish businessman and chairman of the German manufacturing giant Siemens, Jim Hagemann Snabe pushed the Great Reset agenda of replacing meat with synthetic proteins at a “Mobilizing for Climate” panel at the annual globalist meeting in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday.

“If a billion people stop eating meat, I tell you, it has a big impact. Not only does it have a big impact on the current food system, but it will also inspire innovation of food systems,” Snabe said, adding: “I predict we will have proteins not coming from meat in the future, they will probably taste even better.”

“They will be zero carbon and much healthier than the kind of food we eat today, that is the mission we need to get on,” the Siemens boss continued.

Mayor Andre Dickens "Many of these protesters are not from Atlanta, and many are not even from the state of Georgia.  The Mayor stunned assembled media outlets when he revealed, during a Press conference, some of those arrested "have been found to have explosives on them."

As most readers readily know, Protesters don’t destroy property and hurl explosives at police, those would be Rioters

The Mayor clearly stated "These people mean harm to people and to property."

Atlanta is on fire tonight, but @cnn reporters @DavidPeisner & @PamelaBrownCNN are reporting Atlanta police officers, NOT protestors, are committing violence for tackling & arresting these thugs burning and destroying a police cruiser and store front windows.

This is a developing story.  More as I get it.

RT France will shut down as the TV channel’s accounts have been blocked, Editor-in-chief Ksenia Fedorova wrote on her Twitter page on Saturday.

"The TV channel’s accounts have been frozen at the request of the Directorate General of the Treasury (AFT) under the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance," Fedorova wrote. "Our channel can no longer operate."

According to the press release posted on the TV channel’s website, such measures made the TV channel’s operation impossible. "After five years of relentless work, the ruling authorities have reached their goal of shutting down RT France," the statement said.

Le Monde reported on Thursday that RT France’s bank accounts had been blocked. Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS that such steps would prompt tit-for-tat measures against French media outlets in Russia.

Are there any real military historians in the USMA or the US Army War College left? I doubt it, when one's military "science" is built around Hollywood that is what you get. Considering the level of the US public school graduates, USMA is basically a vocational school now, as long as it meets its quota on "diversity". Now, imagine some "graduates" from the US "strategic studies" experts. Idiocracy is upon us.

We've not so much as reached one full month into 2023, and the United States' top ranking general is already predicting the war in Ukraine will surely not end this year.

US Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Mark Milley issued a broad view assessment on the state of the battlefield while attending a US-hosted meeting in Germany at Ramstein airbase among allied defense ministers, which had as its focus sending more arms to Ukraine. Gen. Milley said: "From a military standpoint I still maintain that for this year it would be very, very difficult to militarily eject the Russian forces from all, every inch of... Russian-occupied Ukraine."

Milley in his comments said that currently there's a mostly "static" front line, which the exception of the (Russian) offensive in the area of Soledar and Bakhmut.

Despite officials at the meeting pledging more weapons to Ukraine, no significant decisions were made on the controversial question of sending Western-made heavy tanks.

Instead, the Biden administration says it's sticking by the decision to not send M1 Abrams tanks to Ukrainian forces. At the same time this may translate into Ukrainian forces holding back on any major attempt to push Russian forces back from current frontlines, particularly the now raging Bakhmut fighting.

As U.S. egg producers rake in record profits amid soaring prices, a farmer-led advocacy group focused on building a just and sustainable food system on Thursday implored the Federal Trade Commission to “promptly open an investigation into the egg industry, prosecute any violations of the antitrust laws it finds within, and ultimately, get the American people their money back.”

Just before testifying at an open meeting of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Farm Action sent a letter to agency chair Lina Khan detailing its “concerns over apparent price gouging, price coordination, and other unfair or deceptive acts or practices by dominant producers of eggs such as Cal-Maine Foods, Rose Acre Farms, Versova Holdings, and Hillandale Farms, among others.”

As Farm Action explained, “Egg prices more than doubled for consumers last year — going from $1.79 in December 2021 to $4.25 in December 2022 for a dozen large Grade A eggs.”

You want to see first hand how we've been getting bilked by the military-industrial complex?   Our Abrams tanks . . .  you know, our main battle tanks . . .  can't go up hills in the snow.  They skid and slide backwards.

This is what Six to nine MILLION DOLLARS EACH buys us?

Tucker Carlson provides an excellent 12 minute report about the CIA’s removal of President Kennedy and President Nixon. I recommend that you watch it 2 or 3 times until it sinks in and forward it to all of your friends and relatives. There is nowhere else  you can get so much solid and important information in 12 minutes.

Carlson believes that Biden, no longer useful to the establishment, is currently undergoing removal.

I have reported the trut
