Police in the Pakistani capital filed charges Sunday against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, 17 of his aides and scores of supporters, accusing them of terrorism and several other offenses after the ousted premier's followers clashed with security forces in Islamabad the previous day.
For hours on Saturday, Khan's followers clashed with police outside a court where the former prime minister was to appear in a graft case. Riot police wielded batons and fired tear gas while Khan's supporters threw fire bombs and hurled rocks at the officers.
More than 50 officers were injured and a police checkpoint, several cars and motorcycles were torched. Police said 59 of Khan's supporters were arrested during the violence.
Khan never actually appeared inside the court to face charges that he had sold state gifts received while in office and concealed assets.
US Congresswoman Betty McCollum said on Saturday that more and more Americans reject their government’s complicity in Israel’s mistreatment of Palestinian children and families.
“More than ever before, Americans do not want the U.S. to be complicit in Israel’s mistreatment of Palestinian children & families,” McCollum said in a tweet, adding:
“Not $1 of U.S. aid should be used to imprison Palestinian children in military detention facilities, or used to tear down their homes.”
The US Rep. was commenting on a recent poll by Gallup News which has found that 49% of US Democrats sympathize more with Palestinians compared with 38% who sympathize with Israelis, which represents an 11% increase over the past year alone.
Early in the declared Covid19 Pandemic, America’s medical community — and this included America’s pharmacies — coalesced around a system of outlawing medicines known to be effective, safe and inexpensive, notably ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine In time, it became obvious that withholding early treatment was crucial for the pharmaceutical industry’s project to vaccinate the world against a claimed Covid19 virus.
Had the effectiveness of inexpensive and available medicines been widely seen, the pretext for ‘Emergency Use Authorization’ of a warpspeed-produced experimental product would have vaporized. With a trillion dollar global vaccination project at stake, that couldn’t be allowed, so the lies of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine being toxic were authoritatively enforced.
The policy descended (and continues to descend) from administrative networks within the Department of Health and Human Services, (notably CDC and NIAID) to the states. These networks are part of, and fed by, an international complex involving the World Health Organization, itself under the control of international pharmaceutical interests focused primarily on vaccines, as well as on gene manipulations sold under the deceptive banner of “vaccine”.
This multi-pronged, vaccine-focused universe now includes research universities and medical schools, medical societies and fraudulent medical journals showcasing ghost-written “scientific” articles. A key player is the discipline of Public Health, a politicized field posing as objective science, enforcer of official narrative and hurler of the “misinformation” epithet at dissenters. And of course there is the compliant media. And money, endless rivers of it.
What is going on?
When a “fact check” vigorously denies something, it is very often true. Sure enough, a fact check denying the link between COVID-19 vaccines and testicular cancer exists (click here).
The fact check says “there is no evidence” but admits: “Grain of Truth: Four football players from the German first league have got testicular cancer since the spring of 2022.”
Except it’s not just 4 German football players (one article claims it’s actually 14). It’s also rugby players, skiers, cricket players, etc.
It’s athletes as well as non-athletes:
The US CDC indicates that 92% of adults have taken one or more COVID-19 vaccine injections. Among those, 92% have been with an mRNA product (Pfizer or Moderna). All recipients have been blinded to the complete ingredient list no one knows exactly what has been injected into the human body.
There are some fundamental points known about mRNA. Natural RNA is made of two purines adenine and guanine and two pyrimidines cytosine and uracil. The replacement of uracil with its ribose ring (uridine) with N-1-methyl-pseudouridine, a synthetic product makes the genetic code for the Wuhan Spike protein better stabilized on lipid nanoparticles, long-lasting, and very efficient in terms of evading cellular destruction and able to undergo repeat reading by ribosomes for continued protein synthesis. Morais et al indicate that both Pfizer and Moderna chose development strategies replacing all uridine units with pseudouridine, making the entire strand completely “unnatural” to the human body. Thus vaccine consultants, companies, and patients unfortunately gambled on how long mRNA would be active within the human body. We now understand the quantity and duration of the disease-promoting and potentially lethal Spike protein cannot be known because the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of mRNA were not characterized.
Since the international insanity began three years ago in the Spring of 2020, several compelling theories have emerged regarding those who have used this time to suppress freedoms and control the population.
For example, Debbie Lerman has effectively argued that lockdowns in the US were not about health, but about counter-terrorism. The state response is to control the population, and not let go of those controls once they are in place.
Aaron Kheriaty has effectively argued that we have entered a new realm of the Security State, all our actions monitored, tracked, and controlled.
Most disturbing of all, Jeffrey Tucker has effectively argued that scientific consensus has overwritten individual choice, giving us a vaccine which we all would be required to take, and which naturally leads to eugenics.
In reading these kinds of well-positioned articles, and the reactions to them on social media, it’s easy to get the impression that we have entered a truly Brave New World, one which did not formerly exist, and is an entirely new phenomenon.
The simple fact is that they are not new ideas. Man desires power over man. But even the parts of the recent attacks on humanity that may seem new are not entirely new. As outlined in the articles above, one such idea is that the government and companies have been performing psyops against us, to control our emotions and dictate our actions.
Former Australian PM Paul Keating has eviscerated Australia’s deal to buy nuclear submarines from the U.K. and U.S., saying there is no Chinese threat to defend against, despite the war hysteria stirring in Australia, writes Joe Lauria.
Paul Keating, a former prime minister of Australia, has boldly contested the establishment consensus that Australia needs to spend A$368 billion to buy nuclear submarines as protection against a China Keating bluntly says is not a threat.
The former Labor premier has defied the conventional wisdom, saying the U.S. opposes China only because Beijing has committed “the high sin in internationalism – it has grown as large as the United States,” a fact the “exceptional state” can’t accept. By subordinating itself, Australia is forfeiting its sovereignty to rely on Britain, which abandoned its former colony years ago, to build nuclear submarines that serve U.S. — and not Australian — interests.
“China does not present and cannot present as an orthodox threat to the United States. By orthodox, I mean an invasive threat,” Keating said in a speech to the Australian National Press Club on Wednesday. He said:
“The United States is protected by two vast oceans, with friendly neighbours north and south, in Canada and Mexico. And the United States possesses the greatest arsenal in all human history. There is no way the Chinese have ever intended to attack the United States and it is not capable of doing so even had it contemplated it. So, why does the United States and its Congress insist that China is a ‘threat’?
Australia has “absolutely not” given the US any commitment as part of the Aukus negotiations that it would join its top security ally in a potential future war over the status of Taiwan, the deputy prime minister has said.
Richard Marles made the comment as he continued to defend Australia’s multi-decade plan to acquire nuclear-powered submarines, with help from the US and the UK, at a total cost of up to $368bn between now and the mid-2050s.
Marles, who is also the defence minister, said on Sunday that China’s rapid military buildup “shapes the strategic landscape in which we live”.
He told the ABC’s Insiders program the Aukus submarines would back up Australia’s interest in protecting trade and freedom of navigation and flight in the South China Sea.
Australia’s AUKUS submarine will be armed with hypersonic missiles able to travel up to 25 times the speed of sound in what Defence Minister Richard Marles has declared heralded the “reshaping” of the Australian Defence Force.
The merits of the AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine was launched directly on the military today as Mr Marles together with Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy addressed a forum of serving and civilian personnel who will bring the AUKUS pact to reality.
Many of those attending were from the Garden Island Fleet Base East on Sydney Harbour while others had travelled from Defence headquarters in Canberra.
The first wave of defenses designed to counter complex missile threats against Guam will include radars, launchers, interceptors, and a command-and-control system, and they’ll be place on the island next year, the U.S. Missile Defense Agency director said this week.
The MDA asked for more than $800 million in its fiscal 2024 budget request, released Monday, to develop and begin constructing its architecture to defend Guam against a range of threats including ballistic, cruise and hypersonic missiles. Nearly half of that money would continue the design and development of the architecture.
On March 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin paid an unannounced working visit to Mariupol to inspect a number of locations in the city and talk to local residents.
The president arrived in Mariupol by helicopter, accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The surprise visit marked the first time Putin has been to the Donbass region, since it de facto broke away from Ukraine nine years ago.
Update (1315ET): The Washington Post reports that Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said Saturday morning there had been no “notification” of an indictment and said Trump’s supporters should attend a rally he is holding next week in Texas for his 2024 reelection.
Susan Necheles, a lawyer for Trump, said his remark about the timing of his arrest was gleaned from media reports on Friday about local and federal law enforcement players expecting to convene early next week to discuss security and logistics related to Trump’s expected indictment.
“Since this is a political prosecution, the District Attorney’s office has engaged in a practice of leaking everything to the press, rather than communication with President Trump’s attorneys as would be done in a normal case,” Necheles said in a statement.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich dismissed the existence of a Palestinian people in a speech he delivered in Paris on Sunday.
“There is no such thing as Palestinians because there is no such thing as a Palestinian people,” said Smotrich who heads the Religious Zionist Party.
“Who are the [real] Palestinians? I am Palestinian,” he said.
He recalled his family’s 13 generations in the Land of Israel, mentioning his grandmother who had been born in the northern border town of Metula over a hundred years ago before the creation of the state.
His ancestors and his grandmother were “Palestinians,” he said.
The US Army will this month establish a new headquarters in Poland, called US Army Garrison Poland, the Pentagon has announced.
“In order to meet U.S. Army in Europe and Africa mission requirements, improved command and control capabilities and manage foreign, forward operating sites within the Republic of Poland, the U.S. Army will establish the U.S. Army Garrison Poland in March 2023,” Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said on Thursday.
He told reporters that the unit would be “one of the enduring improvements” to the US Department of Defense’s posture in Europe “based on assessments from the 2021 Global Posture Review and consultations with NATO allies” and announced by President Joe Biden in June last year.
“Joining the existing seven Installation Management Command Europe Garrisons, U.S. Army Garrison Poland will…enable U.S. Army in Europe and Africa Command readiness,” Ryder said.
Kazakhstan is the United Kingdom’s primary trading partner in Central Asia, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the UK James Cleverly said during his meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana as part of his first visit to the nation on March 18.
“Your visit will give a very strong impetus to further enhance mutual cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UK. I took note of your recent speech at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office that outlined the long-term vision for British foreign policy. Indeed, it is a very important speech,” Tokayev said.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg visited the Troll A offshore natural gas platform off the west coast of Norway on Friday (17 March 2023), together with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Equinor CEO Anders Opedal.
“We have seen how President Putin has tried to use energy as a weapon throughout the war against Ukraine. And Norwegian gas has helped to respond to that…,” Mr Stoltenberg said. He added that gas installations “are vital for our economies, for our industries, but also, therefore, for our security.”
…Following the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline last September, NATO Allies have stepped up their military presence in the region. Ships and maritime patrol planes from NATO’s Standing Maritime Group 1, led by flagship FGS Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, were in the area during the visit, having just taken part in exercises Joint Viking and Join Warrior. NATO has also recently created an undersea infrastructure coordination cell to map vulnerabilities, and coordinate efforts between NATO Allies, partners, and the private sector. A new NATO-EU taskforce on resilience and critical infrastructure protection has also been established, and met for the first time on Thursday.
Kosovo-Metohija Serbs were targeted by a pogrom 19 years ago, on March 17-19, 2004.
It was the second large pogrom Serbs in the province suffered at the hands of ethnic Albanians after the end of the 1999 NATO aggression on Serbia, then part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Previously, approximately a quarter of a million Serbs and other non-Albanians were expelled from Kosovo-Metohija in June 1999 in the presence of international troops.
The March 2004 Kristallnacht-like violence targeted the Serbs and their property, holy sites, churches and monuments.
As a result, 4,012 Serbs were expelled from Kosovo-Metohija, and most of them never returned to their homes.
Christian pastor Derek Reimer was forcefully arrested today by members of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) after appearing to breach his bail conditions by protesting a new law that bans demonstrations against drag queen story time or other LGBTQ events at public facilities.
A video posted online today by Rebel News shows a member of the CPS approach Reimer, of Mission7 street ministry, who appears to be in a parking lot away from a public library, and then tell him he is under arrest for “breaching” a no-go condition.
“You are currently under arrest for breaching your 200m no-go condition,” an officer said to Reimer before he was handcuffed and dragged away to a police cruiser.
Reimer did not resist arrest. However, he refused to walk and was dragged by CPS members to the police car.
In her 2018 book Target Africa: Ideological Neocolonialism in the Twenty-First Century and subsequent documentary Strings Attached, Nigerian pro-life activists Obianuju Ekeocha details how Western democracies utilize foreign aid to push their abortion agenda in Africa.
The aid packages they present to African countries, she notes, comes with ideological strings attached — in exchange for desperately needed help, Western groups bring in abortion and the LGBT agenda to countries with populations which abhor both. The Justin Trudeau government has been pouring millions of Canadian taxpayer dollars into the abortion industry and Africa is a key target.
Several years ago, Conservative Canadian Member of Parliament Garnett Genuis responded to news that abortion was being pushed illegally in some African countries by asking Canada’s then-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, if she was certain that Marie Stopes — an international abortion provider that has been kicked out of several African countries for breaking laws against abortion — was not breaking the law in countries where it currently operates with the assistance of Canadian funding.
Freeland refused to answer the question and instead went on a tirade about the Liberal Party’s support for abortion — which is an admission of sorts.
CNN writes that if Donald Trump is arrested this Tuesday it will mark “a dramatic escalation of his legal woes.” As though the arrest of Trump would be just a minor political inconvenience for him and his supporters. No mention of impending civil war, I see.
The rumors of arrest remind us the establishment still regards Trump as the greatest threat to their control of America. If they can get rid of Trump—by imprisoning him or at least indicting him—it will be smooth sailing for Project Deep State.
On January 6, according to the Left (and the complicit pseudo-Right) Trump managed to “incite” an “insurrection” without a single explicit order. They tell us Trump embedded his commands to riot in code in phrases like “let’s march peacefully down to the Capitol.” The same CNN article quoted above says Trump’s new call for protest “echoes his final days in office, when he repeatedly urged his supporters to reject the results of the 2020 presidential election, culminating in the deadly January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.”
But if, on January 6, Trump had been as reckless as the Left, or as bent on retaining power as they say he is, he might have started an actual riot by saying, “Riot.” He could have said, “Burn the Capitol.” He could have said, “Don’t let the forces of corruption steal the country from us. Come to Washington, D.C., bring your guns, and kill them all.”
Project Deep State doesn’t have a good explanation for why the world’s most dangerous man didn’t do any of these things. There was Trump, the leading “threat to world peace,” with the world’s greatest megaphone, the world’s undivided attention, the power to cause limitless destruction and at least attempt to hold onto his office by force, and he forgets to issue the order? How careless! What a disappointing super-villain.
The San Jose Sharks recently held a Pride Night event at the SAP Center during their match against the New York Islanders, sparking controversy when goaltender James Reimer chose not to wear a Pride-themed jersey for warm-ups due to his religious beliefs.
Instead of regular game content, the Sharks dedicated the evening to raising awareness about LGBTQIA+ issues, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in the sport. The event featured Pride-themed food, drinks, merchandise, lighting, and music.
As part of the festivities, the Sharks requested that their players wear specially designed LGBTQ-themed jerseys during the pregame warm-ups. Created by local queer, biracial artist, and educator Houyee Chow, the jerseys showcased the team's mascot within a heart, adorned with hockey sticks displaying rainbow LGBTQ, progressive, and transgender flag colors, accompanied by the word "love."
On Saturday, former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., criticized former President Donald Trump's assertion that he expects to be arrested next week, labeling it "reckless" and accusing him of inciting violence.
In a tweet, Pelosi stated, "The former President's announcement this morning is reckless: doing so to keep himself in the news & to foment unrest among his supporters. He cannot hide from his violations of the law, disrespect for our elections and incitements to violence. Rightfully, our legal system will decide how to hold him accountable."
In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000 years.
The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be:
The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence.
Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism, Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion.
This is really sad when the guy with Kelly's C.V. lowers himself to a petty exhibition of own complexes, but this is a reaction of classic sore loser, because Kelly wouldn't be able to fly real combat missions in SU-30SM, SU-35 or SU-57 because he simply doesn't have skills and experience to operate such technology. Now, seeing how Russian Air Force downs dozens upon dozens of Ukie combat planes beyond visual range got to him and his complex of inferiority reared its ugly head. Obviously, when the USAF tried to repeat that:
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told "FOX News Sunday" that he hopes Chinese President Xi will speak to the leader of Ukraine after his visit this week to Russia and that any call for a ceasefire that comes out of the visit will be "unacceptable."
"We've said it before and we’ll say it again today that if coming out of this meeting, there’s some sort of call for a ceasefire, well, that’s just going to be unacceptable," Kirby said. "Because all that’s going to do, Mike, is ratify Russian’s conquest to date."
"All that’s going to do is give Mr. Putin more time to refit, retrain, re-man and try to plan for a renewed offensive at the time of his choosing," Kirby said.
NATO military planners want to designate an additional 300,000 troops to be positioned along the eastern edge of the alliance on the border with Russia in order to forestall any thought by Moscow of expanding the war in Ukraine.
There’s only one small problem; they don’t know where they’re going to get the weapons and ammunition.
“The current rate of consumption compared to the current rate of production of ammunition,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in early March, “is not sustainable.”
But the problem isn’t just manufacturing bullets and shells. It’s a problem of figuring out how much every NATO nation has to give in men, money, and material. And that has proved difficult in the past.
“If there’s not somebody hosting the potluck and telling everybody what to bring, then everyone would bring potato chips because potato chips are cheap, easy to get,” said James J. Townsend Jr., a former U.S. deputy assistant secretary of defense for European and NATO policy.
“Nations,” he added, “would rather bring potato chips.”
No country on the global arena has a right for the final say in determining the existing world order, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said in an interview with Russia’s Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily.
"The international community has recognized that no country is superior to others, no model of governance is universal, and no single country should dictate the international order," Xi Jinping said in the article published ahead of his visit to Russia. "The common interest of all humankind is in a world that is united and peaceful, rather than divided and volatile.".
On March 19, Syrian President Bashar al Assad arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official visit, accompanied by his wife Asma al Assad.
Assad was greeted by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on arrival in Abu Dhabi and received a canon salute as his convoy entered the royal palace, Qasr Al Watan. Assad’s plane was greeted by fighter jets from the Emirate air force.
“I welcomed President Bashar Al Assad of Syria to the UAE today, and we held constructive talks aimed at developing relations between our two countries,” Sheikh Mohamed said on Twitter. “Our discussions also explored ways of enhancing co-operation to accelerate stability and progress in Syria and the region.”
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, Assad and Sheikh Mohamed discussed the recent positive developments in the region and the importance of taking advantage of those developments to achieve stability ,further safety and prosperity.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have recently increased their attacks on Russian military positions on the southern Donbass front lines. At the same time, large Ukrainian forces are accumulated in the Zaporozhie and Kherson regions. The ongoing military developments may mark the upcoming large-scale Ukrainian offensive aimed at slashing the Russian grouping in the Donbass and Ukrainian advance towards the Sea of Azov.
On March 19, the AFU launched a counterattack near the village of Novodanilovka located to the south-east of the town of Orekhov. Two assault groups of the 128th mountain assault brigade of the AFU, reinforced by the units of the territorial defense attempted to bypass Russian strongholds from the flanks.
Ukrainian forces used smoke before the attack. They cleared the passages in minefields in the area and remotely mined approaches to the Russian positions to prevent them from sending reserves and blockade evacuation. According to Russian military reporters, Ukrainian aircraft struck Russian military positions.
