Iran says the United States and Israel have taken the United Nations and its Security Council hostage, urging the international community to immediately free the two world bodies.

In a post on his X account on Thursday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan'ani said the world is witnessing the continuation of Israel's "barbarism and brutality" in the Gaza Strip.

After 167 consecutive days of Israel's war against the Gaza Strip, international bodies are still refraining from taking an action and have only announced their positions and views, he added.

He emphasized that those who keep silent and support Israel's brutality should be ashamed of themselves.

Pointing to the tragic news about the raid on Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital for the fourth consecutive day, the Iranian spokesperson said the Israeli occupation forces blew up a specialized building in the medical complex and completely destroyed it.

History is unable to narrate such blatant and reckless brutality and ferocity in front of the eyes of the world community, Kan'ani pointed out.

Russia said on Wednesday its soldiers were pushing Ukrainian forces back and that Moscow would bolster its military by adding two new armies and 30 new formations by the end of this year.

Russia, which invaded Ukraine in 2022, swiftly pulled back some of its forces in the east and south after over-extending but has been slowly advancing after a Ukrainian counteroffensive last year failed to make significant gains.

Russia controls a little under one fifth of Ukraine and President Vladimir Putin ordered troops to push further forward after Moscow took the small eastern Ukrainian city of Avdiivka last month.

"Groups of Russian troops continue to squeeze the enemy out of their positions," Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu told senior generals. "The United States and its satellites are extremely concerned about the success of the Russian Armed Forces."

French President Emmanuel Macron believes Ukraine might be defeated on the battlefield in short order, the French edition of Politico reported on Wednesday.

The outlet’s Playbook section spoke with several members of the president’s party who had attended a working dinner at the Elysee Palace the evening before. While most of the discussion centered on the upcoming European Parliament elections, the Ukraine conflict also came up.

“Ukraine could fall very quickly,” one of the outlet’s sources quoted Macron as saying.

Macron ramped up his rhetoric about Ukraine a few weeks after a number of French nationals fighting on behalf of Kiev were killed in a Russian missile strike. At a meeting of EU leaders in Paris in late February, he refused to rule out the possibility of a NATO intervention in Ukraine.

“According to preliminary data, as a result of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall building 40 people were killed and over 100 were injured,” the FSB said. Special services are conducting a search effort, measures are underway to provide assistance to those injured.

Moscow: “US reaction to terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall raises questions”

The reaction of the US authorities to the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall raises big questions, in particular, as to the reasons why the White House takes the liberty of claiming right away Ukraine was not involved in the incident, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.

«The coronavirus pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, and a global genetic vaccination program has been rapidly implemented as a fundamental solution. However, many countries around the world have reported that so-called genetic vaccines, such as those using modified mRNA encoding the spike protein and lipid nanoparticles as the drug delivery system, have resulted in post-vaccination thrombosis and subsequent cardiovascular damage, as well as a wide variety of diseases involving all organs and systems, including the nervous system».

Thus begins the summary of a new study published on Preprint.org which supports the alarm about the dangers of blood transfusions with the blood of vaccinated people already highlighted by an explosion of legal actions in Italyand by a bill in the USA.

The research, titled “Concerns regarding Transfusions of Blood Products Derived from Genetic Vaccine Recipients and Proposals for Specific Measures” is still awaiting review equal but can already be considered absolutely reliable as it was signed by seven doctors from 5 Japanese university hospitals and 2 private research centers.

Americans are getting increasingly exhausted with their current state of politics as both the main parties – Democrats and Republicans are showing signs of increased intolerance, which not only may hamper the scope of a free and fair election in the future, while excessive political influence on judiciary as well as federal agencies are also ruining America’s image of a country of rule of law and political decency. As the United States hurtles towards another election cycle, a palpable weariness grips the nation. Americans find themselves increasingly disillusioned with the state of their political landscape, where the battleground of ideologies has transformed into a theater of intolerance and division. The looming specter of the November 5 election casts a shadow over the nation, fraught with apprehension and uncertainty. Whether it’s Joe Biden or Donald Trump, the stakes seem higher than ever, and the consequences more dire.

As November 5 election now is less than eight months away – for Joe Biden and Donald Trump, winning in the election seems to be a do or die matter. If Biden manages to win the election – despite his sunken approval ratings and popularity – Republicans, particularly Trump’s MAGA supporters may resort to massive protest, which may ultimately turn into a civil war. On the other hand – if Donald Trump wins – Democrats may repeat what Hillary Clinton supporters did in 2016 – resulting in countrywide chaos, anarchy and lawlessness.

The Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the attack on the Crocus City Hall on the outskirts of Moscow which caused at least 60 deaths and 145 injured, but the casualties number may rise because there are many person hospitalized in serious conditions to whom Russian President Vladimir Putin wished for a speedy recovery.

The Guardian writes this, reporting the complete statement published on the Islamic State’s Telegram account:

«Islamic State fighters attacked a large gathering of Christians in the city of Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds and causing great destruction to the place before they withdrew to their bases safely».

The news was supported by American intelligence and by the discovery of a customized Kalashnikov assault rifle in the Crocus City Hall, the concert venue where the massacre took place, in the north-west of Moscow.

“If the state could use [criminal] laws not for their intended purposes but to silence those who voice unpopular ideas, little would be left of our First Amendment liberties, and little would separate us from the tyrannies of the past or the malignant fiefdoms of our own age. The freedom to speak without risking arrest is ‘one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation.’

- Justice Neil Gorsuch, dissenting, Nieves v. Bartlett (2019)

Tyrants don’t like people who speak truth to power.

Cue the rise of protest laws, which take the government’s intolerance for free speech to a whole new level and send the resounding message that resistance is futile.

In fact, ever since the Capitol protests on Jan. 6, 2021, state legislatures have introduced a broad array of these laws aimed at criminalizing protest activities.

There have been at least 205 proposed laws in 45 states aimed at curtailing the right to peacefully assemble and protest by expanding the definition of rioting, heightening penalties for existing offenses, or creating new crimes associated with assembly.

Weaponized by police, prosecutors, courts and legislatures, these protest laws, along with free speech zones, bubble zones, trespass zones, anti-bullying legislation, zero tolerance policies, hate crime laws, and a host of other legalistic maladies have become a convenient means by which to punish individuals who refuse to be muzzled.

In Florida, for instance, legislators passed a “no-go” zone law making it punishable by up to 60 days in jail to remain within 25 feet of working police and other first responders after a warning.

Yet while the growing numbers of protest laws cropping up across the country are sold to the public as necessary to protect private property, public roads or national security, they are a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a thinly disguised plot to discourage anyone from challenging government authority at the expense of our First Amendment rights.

It doesn’t matter what the source of that discontent might be (police brutality, election outcomes, COVID-19 mandates, the environment, etc.): protest laws, free speech zones, no-go zones, bubble zones, trespass zones, anti-bullying legislation, zero tolerance policies, hate crime laws, etc., aim to muzzle every last one of us.

To be very clear, these legislative attempts to redefine and criminalize speech are a backdoor attempt to rewrite the Constitution and render the First Amendment’s robust safeguards null and void.

More than 100 prominent Jewish Americans signed a statement released Wednesday condemning the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's increasingly aggressive interventions in U.S. elections, particularly Democratic Party primaries in which the powerful lobbying group is spending big to unseat progressives.

The statement's list of signatories includes well-known scholars, rabbis, anti-war activists, journalists, and filmmakers who have "agreed to come together to highlight and oppose the unprecedented and damaging role of AIPAC" and its allied organizations in the American electoral process. The statement calls on Democratic candidates to reject all funding from AIPAC's political network.

AIPAC's political entities, including its United Democracy Project super PAC, are expected to spend $100 million this election cycle targeting candidates who have backed a cease-fire in Gaza or have otherwise been deemed inadequately pro-Israel.

A secret RCMP report is warning the federal government that Canada may descend into civil unrest once citizens realize the hopelessness of their economic situation.

“The coming period of recession will … accelerate the decline in living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed compared to earlier generations,” reads the report, entitled Whole-of-Government Five-Year Trends for Canada.

“For example, many Canadians under 35 are unlikely ever to be able to buy a place to live,” it adds.

The report, labelled secret, is intended as a piece of “special operational information” to be distributed only within the RCMP and among “decision-makers” in the federal government.

In an unexpected move that has left its citizens bewildered and anxious, the entire police force of the small Maryland town of Ridgely has been suspended.

The town, nestled on Maryland's Eastern Shore, has left the responsibility of public safety to other agencies, while the residents remain clueless about the reasons behind the suspension of the Ridgely Police Department.

Laura Cline, a long-standing resident of Ridgely, expressed her concerns, stating, "What’s very concerning is that they didn’t communicate with us in an honest and open way. Treat us with respect. We’re adults — thinking, rational adults who deserve the truth."

Holly Justice, a local business owner, echoed these sentiments, saying, "We were blindsided. It makes you question the integrity of people who are supposed to protect and serve."

The town's officials announced last week on Ridgely's website that the three-member commission had "suspended with pay the entirety of the Ridgely Police Department." They also revealed that the Office of State Prosecutor is investigating potential misconduct.

Horses taught Christine Searle the importance of being fair. Intelligent and innately honest creatures, horses know deceit when they see it. She wishes they could teach that principle to the state of Arizona.

The 70-year-old horse trainer and Arizona native is on the verge of losing her life’s savings over an unpaid $1,607.68 property tax bill.

I owed them the money. And that’s what they should get—the money I owe them,” Ms. Searle told The Epoch Times.

I don’t think that they should have the right to take all of it.

Arizona is one of almost a dozen states that allow creditors to keep all the proceeds from sales of homes foreclosed due to unpaid taxes—known as tax lien sales, according to the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF).

A 2022 U.S. Supreme Court case out of Minnesota offers some hope to property owners in these situations, but only if a similar case is brought in their state. In the 2022 case, the justices ruled that Minnesota’s practice of keeping all the proceeds of a tax sale constitutes an illegal seizure of property.

“The taxpayer must render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, but no more,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the unanimous decision.

But, under their current laws, 10 states and the District of Columbia have no means of returning the excess proceeds of a home sale; what Mountain States Legal Foundation lawyers representing Ms. Searle call “home equity theft.” The states include Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and South Dakota.

Ms. Searle hopes her case will be the one to set things right in Arizona.

In Arizona, a county treasurer can place a lien on a property for taxes owed. These financial claims are then sold at an online auction. In the auction, buyers bid the lowest interest rate they intend to charge property owners to redeem their lien. The bidding begins at 16 percent and the lowest bid wins.

Purchasing a tax lien doesn’t transfer ownership of the property. In Arizona, the property owner has three years to pay the back taxes, which includes fees and interest. If it is not redeemed within that time, the lienholder may foreclose and sell the property.

Unsold tax liens are turned over to the state. The state has the same right to foreclose, but must return any excess proceeds to the former property owner.

In 2005, Ms. Searle bought a three-bedroom, two-bath house as a rental property for $255,000. The house is in Gilbert, Arizona, 22 miles southeast of Phoenix. Its 2024 property tax appraisal came to $376,800, but she stands to lose much more than the taxable value

Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an appointee of President Barack Obama, found that a group of seven citizen plaintiffs lacked standing to challenge the legislation.

Their lawsuit against the D.C. Board of Elections, filed on March 14, aimed to block the 2022 law passed by the Council of the District of Columbia.

They argued that “noncitizens” do not have a fundamental right to vote in the United States and that allowing them to cast ballots and hold office in the District of Columbia dilutes the votes of U.S. citizens.

“It follows from our national independence that United States citizens have a right to govern, and be governed by, themselves. The constitutional right to citizen self-government, moreover, has been recognized in repeated holdings of the Supreme Court of the United States,” their complaint reads.

“Nor does any noncitizen have a constitutional right to govern the United States,” the complaint adds.

The group argued that the Supreme Court has recognized and protected these rights against infringement in “multiple precedents.”

The group, in their complaint, argued that vote dilution caused by expanding the franchise to illegal immigrants has been analyzed under the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment “on the ground that they discriminate against an identifiable group by harming that group while benefitting another.”

And while the complaint noted that the 14th Amendment only applies to the states, they contended that the 5th Amendment due process clause grants residents of the District of Columbia the same equal protection right.

No Standing

However, in an opinion issued Thursday, Judge Jackson determined that the seven plaintiffs failed to demonstrate “that they have personally been subjected to any sort of disadvantage as individual voters by virtue of the fact that noncitizens are permitted to vote, too.”

“They may object as a matter of policy to the fact that immigrants get to vote at all, but their votes will not receive less weight or be treated differently than noncitizens’ votes,” the judge wrote.

Claire's Observations:  In my understanding of US law, the Judge is utterly wrong in her ruling, and the plaintiffs are absolutely correct, in drawing attention to this, through this lawsuit.

I hope this verdict goes to an appeals hearing quickly, and ultimately to the Supreme Court, if need be;  Because what is the point of being an American citizen, if you have non-citizens voting, even in smaller municipal elections?!?  This  a "Camel's Nose Under the Tent" moment, folks, and we need to be paying attention right now.

This was a very bold claim to make. ‘Your Government is trying to kill you’ is even bolder. Unfortunately, these bold claims are now backed up with a mountain of evidence, and most of that evidence can be found in the confidential Pfizer documents that the U.S. Food & Drug Administration has been forced to publish by court order. And sadly, the evidence strongly suggests that Covid-19 vaccination is causing mass depopulation.

The rich spend a lot of time and money trying to distance themselves as far away from the poor as possible in order to protect their lavish lifestyles. But as America descends into lawlessness due to many decades' worth of corruption, both financially and otherwise, the rich are seeing the poor go after their often-ill-gotten wealth with a vengeance. The latest culprits are Latin American gangs that are reportedly targeting upscale residences throughout Southern California, as well as in the wealthy enclave of Scottsdale, Ariz., an upper crust suburb of Phoenix. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Chief Dominic Choi says burglaries in LA are rising as organized groups, many of them operating at a distance from places like Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, target the wealthiest neighborhoods for theft.

SPF general secretary David Kennedy said performers who push boundaries with potentially offensive material – such as Frankie Boyle –could fall foul of the law, set to come into force on April 1.
