House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-KY) on Sunday called on White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain to release visitor records for President Joe Biden’s Delaware home and other information related to the classified documents found there.

On Tuesday, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed the “Protect Illinois Communities Act”  banning the sale and manufacture of assault weapons in the state.

The law bans assault weapons, including some semiautomatic firearms, as well as high-capacity magazines and rapid-firing devices.

In a statement, Pritzker said, “For a long time now, I and many other leaders in the Illinois General Assembly have prioritized getting the most dangerous weapons off our state’s streets. Today, honoring the commitment we made, we passed one of the strongest assault weapons bans in the nation, one I will be proud to sign.”

Starting next year, failure to provide state police with the serial numbers for assault-style rifles will be a Class A misdemeanor. The charge is punishable by up to a year in prison.

Dozens of county sheriffs in Illinois, however, suggest they will refuse that provision of the bill.

The tyrannical Biden Regime remains determined not to let the U.S. Constitution stop its war on law-abiding gun owners. Not satisfied with last year’s gun control victory, thanks to Republican sell-outs, the Regime’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) unveiled a rule which will criminalize millions of law-abiding gun owners.

The Reload’s Stephen Gutowski reported that the agency plans to reclassify pistol braces, a highly popular gun accessory, in a way which would ban them unless registered with the ATF. Anyone who refuses to comply could face up to ten years in prison.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that a preliminary COVID-19 vaccine "safety signal" has been identified and is investigating whether the Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine creates an increased risk of ischemic stroke in people 65 and older.

In the Friday statement, the CDC said that the preliminary signal hasn't been identified with the Bivalent Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

"Following the availability and use of the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines, CDC’s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a near real-time surveillance system, met the statistical criteria to prompt additional investigation into whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent," the CDC said. 

Bed Bath & Beyond stock dropped Friday as investors digested reports that the company was in talks with lenders to finance the company during bankruptcy proceedings.

The conversations include the potential for a so-called horse bid, Bloomberg reported Thursday afternoon, citing people familiar with the matter. A horse bid would broker an agreement where the lender would also offer to buy some or all of the company’s assets in bankruptcy and set the low end of the bidding bar, Bloomberg added.

House Republicans have demanded access to visitor logs for Joe Biden's Delaware home to determine both who would have had access to classified documents found in the president's garage as well as how they got there.

The White House on Saturday said it had discovered five additional pages of classified documents at his home on Thursday, the same day a special counsel was appointed to review the matter. 

The demands made by the newly empowered Republicans were spearheaded by Kentucky Representative James Comer, who said: 'We have a lot of questions.'

This time, the National Education Association boldly tweets to the world that they know best about our children. So naturally, this declaration came with some interesting and comical responses.

Earmarks are back, with Congress’ recent spending bill containing over $16 billion in earmarks. This includes earmarks by Congressman Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.), that went directly to Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, where his brother, John Cooper, is the mayor.  

Earmarks are special funding mechanisms that allow federal legislators to designate money for local projects in their states or districts. Dubbed “the currency of corruption,” earmarks were once banned but legislators voted to bring them back in 2021.  

Auditors at OpenTheBooks.com analyzed the federal earmarks database, and found that Congressman Cooper authorized two earmarks, one worth $2.2 million for unspecified “facilities and equipment,” and another worth $539,000 for an “urban forestry project.” Both go directly to his brother John Cooper’s unit of government, Metro Nashville.

Arterial obstruction blocks oxygen-rich blood delivery, whereas the venous thrombosis prevents drainage of blood from within the head.

Within the stroke data set, there are 275 patients with 300 different events reported; and 20% of the stroke events were fatal.

It is important to note that the Adverse Events in the 5.3.6 document were reported to Pfizer for only a 90-day period starting on December 1, 2020, the date of the United Kingdom’s public rollout of Pfizer’s COVID-19 experimental mRNA “vaccine” product.

We’re still only on the first steps of the road to learning how badly the COVID pandemic was handled by the government, the media, and, well… pretty much everyone. But the veil is slowly being lifted regarding some of the unforced errors that were made. Even the legacy media is starting to admit that a serious math error took place alongside the many other errors being discovered. Specifically, the total count of COVID hospitalizations and deaths being reported was obviously far higher than it should have been. Many of the people hospitalized “for COVID” sought medical care for entirely different reasons, and many of the dead did not actually die from COVID or anything related to it.

Concern has continued to grow over a small, but growing number of cases of a rare, but serious blood clotting disorders associated with the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine. In May, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) put new restrictions on who can get the J&J vaccine, based on a fresh review of data on the life-threatening blood clots that have been associated with the vaccine. This was five months after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) endorsed a decision to give a preferential recommendation to the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines.

The latest decision restricts access of the vaccine to adults 18 and older who specifically request the J&J shot or who cannot have the other available vaccines for medical reasons.

The clotting disorder is called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), and it is rare—an updated safety analysis showed that, as of March 18, out of more than 18 million people who got J&J, 60 cases of TTS were reported and nine people died. The analysis was based on suspected cases of TTS reported to the government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The risk appears to be greatest—1 in 100,000—in women ages 30 to 49.

There’s only one problem: every once in awhile one of the the rabbits goes missing. It turns out the entire warren is on a farmer’s land who feeds and otherwise takes care of them, but then sets out snares and traps them from time to time for their pelts.

The computer failure that prompted a halt of all US flight departures was caused when a data file was damaged as a result of a failure to follow government procedures, the Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday. 

Unspecified “personnel” were responsible for corrupting the file, which led to the outage of an FAA computer system that sends safety notices to pilots, the agency said in a statement. That triggered the FAA to order a halt to all US departing flights, causing thousands of delays and cancellations Wednesday.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said during an interview on MSNBC over the weekend that investigations into President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal are nothing more than a “political game.”
