"You cannot have free speech and not offend people. That's why the whole political correctness movement was a form of cultural marxism, to trick people into not expressing their opinion because someone, someplace on the planet, might have their feelings hurt; to surrender freedom of speech without realizing that was what was happening." -- Michael Rivero

An Exeter University student was investigated, threatened with expulsion and placed on probation after his next door neighbour overheard him saying on the phone: "Veganism is wrong." Yes, you read that correctly.

A teacher at a school in the south of England with a large Muslim population asked his class how many of them hated Britain. In an instant, 30 hands shot up. Houston, we have a problem.

According to sources, local English major Charlie Miller was able to ace her final exam by simply writing in the word “racism!” for every answer.

“Yeah, I completely forgot to study last night so I figured I would try it,” she said. “90% of my lectures this year were just hour-long sessions of my professor saying ‘racism’ over and over again in different inflections, so I figured my chances were pretty good if I made that the answer to all the test questions.”

Not only is the Baltimore mayor clearly giving away funds in an illegal way, discriminating against all other races in how he gives out taxpayer money, but he’s also wrong about there being white-run arts museums in his own city, including for art museums he sits on the board for.

Scott is awarding the “Diversity in Arts” grants funded by federal COVID-19 relief dollars. Capital grant recipients include the The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture.

The National Great Blacks Wax Museum has a wide array of statues from all stages of black history, and is receiving $250,000 in taxpayer funds. It received $2 million in federal funds last year. It reports having 150,000 annual visitors.

The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) said it received reports of mass ill treatment of Palestinians taken captive from Gaza by Israeli forces, including detainees being urinated on and made to act like animals, and children being attacked by dogs.

A new report, released on Palestinian Prisoners' Day on Wednesday, warned that for the thousands of prisoners kept in detention by the Israeli army, physical, sexual and psychological abuse were routine.

"This included being subjected to beatings while made to lie on a thin mattress on top of rubble for hours without food, water or access to a toilet, with their legs and hands bound with plastic ties. Several detainees reported being forced into cages and attacked by dogs. Some released detainees, including a child, had dog bite wounds on their body," read the report.

"Detainees were threatened with prolonged detention, injury or the killing of family members if they did not provide requested information."

It's an incongruous sight.

On one side, there's glorious golden sand and gleaming blue water, with rows of palm trees lining a strip of luxury hotels, complete with tiki bars and silver service restaurants.

But on the edge of Kāʻanapali Beach, a shabby row of tents has sprung up: their occupants largely ignored by the bikini-clad tourists strolling by.

Now DailyMail.com can reveal that many of those tents are occupied by survivors of the Lahaina wildfire that ripped through the small Maui town last August, claiming at least 101 lives – making it the worst natural disaster in Hawaiian history.

Most of the tent owners lost everything they owned in the blaze, and have ended up living on the beach after being kicked out of the temporary hotel housing they were given in the immediate aftermath of the fire.

The Federal Reserve just released a new study showing that credit card default rates in America have surged up to the highest level on record. In some cases - even worse than what we saw in 2008. These skyrocketing credit card defaults are an ominous sign of the US Economy and Consumers. Particularly for those spending on bank cards such as Discover, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, and Bank of America - where the card default rates have more than doubled in the last 2 years.

No one in the vice president’s orbit, including Harris herself, needs to be reminded how the disappointment and disenchantment from her first years on the job still hang over her, or how odd it is that some voters say in interviews with CNN and outside focus groups they are inclined toward Biden but are turned off by Harris.

CNN’s conversations with two dozen aides to the vice president, the reelection campaign and other top Democrats also show the paradox that even the most Biden-centric aides have been forced to grudgingly admit: There is another swath of voters turned off by the president — and their internal data shows Harris will be critical to getting them if Biden wants to win a second term.
