Fox News host Maria Bartiromo unleashes a Chinese balloon conspiracy so absurd that it boggles the mind
State of the Union speeches are usually pretty scattershot, but President Biden’s 2023 version set a new record.
He ranged across a world of issues without substantively addressing the biggest ones — crime, the border crisis, China, the nation’s looming economic woes — because his record is so weak on all of them.
Instead, he offered lie after lie in a shameless bid to fool the electorate ahead of his 2024 run for re-election. His only “big idea” is to make bogeymen out of the wealthy and offer the American people more freebies, more unsustainable spending.
He blended brags about his supposed achievements (inflation-fueling blowout spending sprees), promos for various dead-on-arrival bits of legislation (even heavily Democratic Congresses have been unable to pass “comprehensive immigration reform”), blatantly insincere calls for bipartisanship, cynical and false attacks on his opponents (the chamber was in an uproar at his fake claim that Republicans want to slash Social Security and Medicare), bogus stats (billionaires pay roughly 24% income tax, not 8%), some fine tough talk on the Ukraine war and utter laughers (“as we made clear last week, if China threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country. And we did” — by shooting down the balloon at the last possible moment?).
The American Red Cross will now let donors self-declare their sex for blood donations. The Red Cross allows for blood donations from homosexual men after a three-month celibacy period. They say that this is a requirement of the FDA. But now if this same man wants to identify as a woman, they can get around this requirement. Why??
Update (1125ET): Google owner Alphabet has continued crashing after an underwhelming launch even raised concerns that its new artificial intelligence chatbot Bard may yield inaccurate responses.
Google was forced to respond after the shares collapsed, saying in a statement that Bard’s response “highlights the importance of a rigorous testing process.”
The company said it will combine external feedback with its own internal testing to ensure Bard’s responses “meet a high bar for quality, safety and groundedness in real-world information.”
Today's drop has wiped over $110 billion off of Alphabet's market cap...
To our TGP readers: We had the honor and pleasure to speak with and interview Victoria White in October 2022. Victoria is a wonderful American, a committed mother, a victim of unbelievable police violence, and a beautiful person. Victoria was beaten over 40 times with open fists and sticks on January 6. On Friday she will face a DC Court where they will likely abuse this honorable American once again.
Victoria White from Rochester, Minnesota attended the Stop the Steal rally in Washington DC on January 6th. Like many Americans that day it was her first time she ever visited Washington DC. She was excited to attend the rally and stand with President Trump at the Ellipse.
What started as a wonderful trip with family and friends turned into a bloody nightmare. Victoria White was nearly killed by DC police officers during the rally. The police officers beat her in the face and shoulders nearly 40 times with sticks and their fists. Then they dragged her through the US Capitol shoeless and forced her to wait outside without a phone, a coat, or a ride after they released her hours later.
This was after Victoria broke up Antifa activists breaking windows at the US Capitol.
To add insult to injury, the FBI later raided her home and arrested her in Minnesota.
Victoria White was brutally beaten near death by the US Capitol Police.
According to previous statements by local attorney Joseph McBride:
She is hit approximately thirty- five times over the course of 4 minutes and 30 seconds, while appearing to be begging for mercy the entire time. She is hit with the baton while facing away. She is hit with the baton while facing forward. She is speared and poked with the baton about the face so as to inflict maximum pain. She collapses more than once and is stood up by the officers only to be maced and beaten again. At some point, White-shirt puts away his baton, not because he is showing mercy because he has a clear avenue to her face. As such, he unloads on the defenseless woman punching her five times in five seconds, directly in the face, with all of his might.
China and Russia have the weapons to target America’s most valuable assets: satellites. In their quest for world dominance, outer space is the next battleground.
The United States has put both countries on notice, announcing that attacks on satellites could provoke a military response.
U.S. military and commercial satellites are critical for communication, surveillance, and navigation. And to our adversaries in the space race, they’re attractive strategic targets.
Stealth fighters like America’s F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and F-22 Raptor are often touted as being “invisible on radar,” but they’re actually not invisible at all. In fact, all of today’s modern stealth fighters, including China’s J-20 and Russia’s Su-57, are pretty easy to spot on even dated early warning systems that have been in service for decades.
Stealth designs minimize an aircraft’s radar signature, delaying and sometimes even preventing detection, but because of the physical requirements for tactical jets, stealth fighters can be easily spotted by certain low-frequency radar bands.
US President Joe Biden gave his second State of the Union address with the purpose to unite the country but apparently failed as his touting of his own accomplishments received heckling from the Republicans, highlighting fraught political divisions amid the looming economic recession. The increasing reference to China in the address may also hint bumpier bilateral relations ahead with polarized political atmosphere in Washington and fiercer political struggle as the election cycle nears, analysts said.
Starting with congratulations to new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Biden, in his more-than-70-minute address, talked about US job growth, his infrastructure program, the rise in domestic manufacturing, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, oil dependency and America's strategic competition with China, US media reported.
Commenting on Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr's ongoing Japan visit, Chinese analysts warned that Tokyo might use economic cooperation as bait to lure Manila into the US-led camp that aims to contain China, which would result in militarization in the region, thus harming regional peace and stability.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr arrived in Japan on Wednesday for a visit that is anticipated to pave the way for closer security ties with Tokyo. The two sides aim to sign seven key agreements during Marcos Jr's five-day visitto boost economic and defense cooperation, media reported.
Marcos' Japan visit comes shortly after he signed an agreement on February 2 granting the US greater access to its military bases, based on which Chinese observers warned that Japan might follow the US' suit and use economic bait to lure the Philippines to deepen security cooperation.
China urged the US to put aside its geopolitical obsession and immediately lift unilateral sanctions on Syria since Washington's long-term involvement in Syrian crisis with military intervention and economic sanctions has resulted in a large number of civilian casualties and difficulties in economic development and reconstruction process in the country.
Syria, which has experienced years of war and turmoil and was recently hit by a strong earthquake, is facing a serious humanitarian crisis and both the United Nations, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies have called for emergency assistance to victims in Syria to prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation there, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at Wednesday's press briefing in response to the US government's claim that it will not deal directly with the Syrian government.

The US has “unleashed a total hybrid war” against Russia and is putting the two nuclear nations on a path to direct confrontation, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said. It claims Washington’s demands for nuclear inspections in Russia are “cynical”, considering its “obvious” assistance in Ukrainian attacks against Russian strategic nuclear forces.

UK’s King Charles III held audience with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, according to footage showed by Sky News.
The monarch and the Ukrainian leader shook hands and exchanged a few phrases, which were inaudible.
Zelensky had already been given an audience at Buckingham Palace in October 2020, when he was received by the current sovereign’s eldest son Prince William and his wife Kate. Queen Elizabeth II refrained from official meetings at the time because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The World Health Organisation's pandemic treaty and International Health Regulation amendments are a threat to Australia's sovereignty.
