The Luzerne County Board of Elections split 2–2 to certify the results, while one member abstained from voting. It’s unclear what the next steps are.

Republican board members Alyssa Fusaro and Jim Mangan voted no, while Democrat members Denise Williams and Audrey Serniak voted for the certification, according to the Times Leader. Daniel Schramm, also a Democrat, was the lone board member who abstained.

Fusaro and Mangan said the ballot shortage on Nov. 8 that caused voters to be turned away was the reason they wouldn’t certify the results, according to local media reports. Fusaro said on Nov. 28 that voters were turned away from the polls, privacy safeguards weren’t in place, and machines jammed and ran out of paper.

There were so many challenges, so many issues, so many problems, so many concerns, that I can’t with good conscience certify this election,” Fusaro said, stating that a new election should be held.

Schramm said at the hearing that he’s “not a rubber stamper” and wants more time to review a reconciliation report. He also wants to look into claims made by voters on Election Day, the Times Leader reported.

House Democrats voted Wednesday to make Rep. Hakeem Jeffries their leader in the next Congress, replacing 82-year-old Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Jeffries won the post in an uncontested election after Pelosi and the two other incumbent members of the Democratic leadership, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, opted to step down. Jeffries, a 52-year-old New Yorker, will be the first African American to serve as House Democratic leader.

"Leadership is incredibly important," said Jeffries. "When we get an opportunity as diverse leaders to serve in positions of consequence, the most meaningful thing we can do in that space is an incredibly good job."

“It feels like this endless, large-volume influx that keeps coming through our emergency department, or phone calls from outside hospitals who are also bursting at the seams,” Hui-wen Sato, an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse at a Los Angeles children’s hospital, said of a recent surge of RSV cases.

RSV, or respiratory syncytial virus, is a common virus that spreads mainly through direct contact or coughing. It usually causes mild symptoms but can be dangerous for young children and elderly people.

As voters, poll workers, and observers have voiced their concerns about issues they witnessed on Election Day in Maricopa County, Ariz., a review of the county's history shows 10 years of election issues under various election officials.

Numerous issues occurred at vote centers on Election Day in Maricopa County earlier this month, from election machine problems to hours-long lines, according to widespread reports. However, election issues are not unique to the 2022 midterms in Maricopa, as some began a decade ago.

During the 2012 presidential general election in Maricopa County, key races went undecided for two weeks after Election Day as a result of "record numbers of provisional and early ballots" remaining uncounted after polls closed, according to the Arizona Republic. The outlet said that "Arizona was embarrassed on the national stage."

Our debt is too large. Inflation is too high. We rarely pass a budget anymore — this year neither Budget Committee even bothered to come up with one. This is how great nations become weakened nations, and with all the threats on the world stage, it is urgent we make a change now.

Proponents of unchecked immigration have a long history of labeling anyone and everyone who advocates for limits on immigration and for the rule of law. Quasi-civilian satellites used by Western countries to support the Ukrainian military throughout the conflict may become legitimate targets for Russia, Vladimir Ermakov, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s non-proliferation and arms control department, has told Sputnik.

“Western countries are actively using the potential of civilian space infrastructure, first of all, a group of low-orbiting satellites, to support operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These are used to exclusively perform combat tasks to reveal locations, routes of movement and actions of Russian troops, to control combat aerial vehicles, as well as to target high-precision munitions from space,” Ermakov said.

He added that such a provocative use of “civilian satellites at the very least raises questions in the context of the Outer Space Treaty” and “requires the most serious condemnation by the world community.”

“We confirm that such quasi-civilian infrastructure, should it be used in military action against Russia, may quite logically become a legitimate target for a retaliatory strike,” Ermakov said.

Given the global coverage of the Earth by civilian spacecraft, “the Pentagon is testing the concept of a prospective command and control system for troops anywhere in the world, and the vast majority of countries have no effective means of countering it,” the director said.

Two are dead after tornadoes and huge thunderstorms barreled across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama late Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, sending millions hunkering down for cover overnight.

The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed that 23 tornadoes hit the ground in the South on Tuesday evening and more are expected to touch ground throughout Wednesday as a supercell storm wrecks havoc.

Several homes have been destroyed, thousands of people have been left without power, and a Mississippi church is now missing its steeple as forceful winds, torrential storms, and tornadoes tore threw.

As westerners we know that our strength lies in our unity cemented by our shared values. But these days it appears that all that strength is proving increasingly hollow. Spats and mudslinging among European powers has become a daily diversion, but last week we saw cracks appearing at the very foundation of the empire's architecture.

On Saturday, 19 November the secretive Trilateral Commission held a meeting in Tokyo. For the first time in the organization's 50 years, the press – three reporters from Nikkei Asia – were allowed to witness the proceedings of the Commission’s Asia Pacific Group on condition that they don’t identify delegates by name in reporting their statements. Even so, what they reported was remarkable, showing that cracks are appearing in the very foundation of the empire, a.k.a. the “rules-based global order.”

The swath of pro-parent school board candidates backed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in Florida is already making their presence known.

The boards are firing teachers and administrators who "spit in parents' faces' prior to Election Day, as one Republican state lawmaker told Politico. So far, three state superintendents have been ousted from their roles since the school board shakeup earlier this month, according to local reports.

"We had a wave in school districts that spit in parents’ faces," state Rep. Randy Fine, a Republican, told Politico. "And now the people who did that are gone."

Iran's Supreme Court has upheld the death penalty for four members of a network of hardened criminals affiliated with Israel's spy agencies, who sought to undermine the country's security.

In a statement on Wednesday, the media center of the judiciary announced the final rulings against the Israel-linked network, which was dismantled in May following a joint operation by Iran’s Intelligence Ministry and the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

The network was involved in criminal acts such as theft, vandalism of public and private property, kidnappings, and obtaining fake confessions.

After the due legal process, four men were sentenced to death. The appeal was then filed in the apex court, the appeal authority in the country.

As per the final ruling, the four main accused, identified as Hossein Ordoukhanzadeh, Shahin Imani Mahmoudabad, Milad Ashrafi Atbatan, and Manouchehr Shahbandi Bejandi, were handed death sentences for intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime and kidnappings.

Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Disney during an interview Tuesday night after the company’s CEO, Bob Iger, said that he was sorry that the company was “dragged” into a fight with the state of Florida.

DeSantis made the remarks during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson in which he was asked about Disney’s opposition to the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act, which banned schools from talking about sexual matters with young children.

Carlson played a clip where Iger said, “I was sorry to see us dragged into that battle. And I have no idea exactly what its ramifications are in terms of the business itself.”

“What I can say is, the state of Florida has been important to us for a long time, and we have been very important to the state of Florida,” Iger continued. “That is something I’m extremely mindful of and will articulate if I get the chance.”

As if ongoing corruption scandals, including the FTX-Kiev regime-DNC connection, weren’t enough, the troubled Biden administration is now faced with another one. According to the latest reports, the US government is unable to account for the approximately $20 billion worth of weapons it sent to the Kiev regime. The US Congress has become a place of heated debates as Republicans warn there will be “impending audits” after they take full control of the House of Representatives in January. Major news media, such as Fox News, claim that the US government under Biden inspected only 10% of approximately 22,000 weapons it sent to the Kiev regime from late February to November.

The GOP wants audits to determine what is going on with the massive amounts of weapons the US is sending and how much of it is ending up “where it’s supposed to be.” Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has vowed to “hold our government accountable” for spending US taxpayers’ dollars for the sake of the corrupt Kiev regime. Other members of the US Congress have been asking for audits for months, while Senator Rand Paul asked on Twitter: “Didn’t someone try to legislatively mandate a special inspector general to scrutinize Ukrainian spending?  Oh, that’s right, it was my amendment and most Democrats AND Republicans opposed any semblance of oversight.”

Back in May, the Biden administration promised it would pledge more than $54 billion in the military, financial and humanitarian “aid” to the Kiev regime. Various estimates of the full amount of funds the political West sent (and is still sending) put the actual number much higher (more than $65 billion back in May). Since Russia launched its counteroffensive on February 24, the US provided the bulk of those funds, far more than all of its vassals and satellite states combined, according to data cited by Summit News. On multiple occasions, the US government and the Pentagon indirectly admitted they weren’t able to track Ukraine-bound funds and resources after they reached the Polish-Ukrainian border.

A study conducted by scientists at the University of Colorado confirms the vast majority of humanity has had absolutely no choice in the matter of whether they wish to get the Covid-19 injection or not because the vaccinated have been transmitting antibodies generated by the injections through aerosols.

The findings should however come as no surprise because a confidential Pfizer document had already confirmed exposure to the mRNA injections was perfectly possible by skin-to-skin contact and breathing the same air as someone who had been given the Covid-19 jab.

They also, unfortunately, add weight to the claims made by Dr Phillipe van Welbergen, who demonstrated that graphene, an alleged undisclosed ingredient of the Covid-19 injections, is being transmitted from the vaccinated to the not-vaccinated and destroying red blood cells and causing dangerous blood clots.

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Tuesday that everyone in China should be allowed to protest and express themselves, and that Canadians were closely watching the protests against the country's zero-COVID policy.

Simmering discontent with stringent COVID prevention policies three years into the pandemic ignited into protests in Chinese cities, in the biggest wave of civil disobedience since Chinese President Xi Jinping took power a decade ago.

"Canadians are watching very closely," Trudeau told reporters in Ottawa. "Everyone in China should be allowed to express themselves, should be allowed to share their perspectives and indeed protest."

"We're going to continue to ensure that China knows we'll stand up for human rights, we'll stand with people who are expressing themselves," he said.

A new report detailing China’s nuclear warhead has mounted further concern over the country’s activities.

On Tuesday, the Pentagon released a report claiming that China may have up to 1,500 nuclear warheads by 2035 if it continues down its current path.

The military activity around the country heightened following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan in August.

The U.S. Senate passed the Respect for Marriage Act on Tuesday in a bipartisan vote of 61 to 36, which will require the federal government to recognize all marriages, including same-sex marriages, that are legal in the state where they took place.

The measure will now move to the House, where it is expected to pass in the final days of a Democratic-controlled chamber before making its way to the White House for President Joe Biden's signature.

A handful of GOP senators, including Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Shelley Moore Capito, Susan Collins, Joni Ernst, Cynthia Lummis, Lisa Murkowski, Rob Portman, Mitt Romney, Dan Sullivan, Thom Tillis and Todd Young, earlier this month helped the bill clear a first procedural hurdle. The same 12 Republicans propelled the legislation across the finish line Tuesday.

few months ago there was discussion in the USA about supplying the Ukraine with the ATACMS missiles for the HIMARS missile launchers, which have a range of up to 300 kilometers and could therefore also reach targets deep in the Russian hinterland. At the time, this was rejected, at least officially, because of the danger that the US could be drawn into the war with the delivery of weapons that can reach the Russian rear. Russia sees such attacks on its rear as one of its red lines.

Apparently those concerns have been put aside in the US, as Reuters reports that Boeing has made a proposal to the Pentagon for the supply of cheap precision weapons with a range of 150 kilometers, which is being examined by the Pentagon. I translated the Reuters report .

More than 700 Ukrainian commandos are currently in the Kyiv-controlled part of the Zaporizhia region, Moscow-appointed regional commander Vladimir Rogov said.

“More than 700 soldiers from the Ukrainian special operations forces have been deployed in the Zaporizhia region. They have been trained to cross the Dnieper River, land an assault force and seize large industrial facilities and the nuclear power plant, ” the Russian official said.

However, he argued that Russia's strikes on Ukrainian ammunition depots "disrupt these plans of the Ukrainian military."

For their part, Ukrainian forces destroyed a railway bridge near the village of Starobohdanivka in the Zaporizhia region, which the Russians were using to deliver military equipment and weapons to Russian troops stationed in the rest of Ukraine's occupied territories, according to the Ukrainian National Security Service.
