MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann said Monday on “Deadline” that he believed special counsel John Durham’s probe into the origins of the FBI investigation into former President Donald Trump’s potential ties to the Russian government was a “big fat nothing.”

Weissmann said, “If John Durham was really just doing an investigation to talk about what are better policies and practices that the FBI could have and was depoliticizing it, I would have been all for that and said great. You know what, there’s no agency that can’t use greater scrutiny. But this was trying to say that there’s a big there there, when there’s no there there. So I just think the big picture, if you step back, is for those people who think oh, everybody does it, the Democrats do it, the Republicans do it, everybody is up to no good and shenanigans, that’s just not true.”

Discussing special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, Weissmann said, “There is a false equivalency because you have an enormous number of cases which were proved where there is, you pointed out, there are convictions, where there is a there there. Russia interfered in the 2016 election. They’re continuing to interfere. There are people who have gone to jail who were rightly found guilty. And what you have with John Durham is like, it’s a big fat nothing, and it reminds me of sort of weaponization hearings that are going on, where there also is, they’re just falling flat on their face because there is no there there.”

On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced Articles of Impeachment against “corrupt” FBI Director Christopher Wray.

“I just introduced articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray,” Greene tweeted.

“Under his watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, & entrapped Americans who have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime. Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force. Christopher Wray needs to be impeached,” she added.

Conservative journalist Julio Rosas absolutely burned Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman of New York during a hearing on Tuesday.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Tuesday afternoon delivered remarks at a celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month in the East Room of the White House.

With the much anticipated release of the Durham report yesterday completely exonerating President Trump of any collusion in the “Russia, Russia, Russia” hoax promulgated by the Hillary Clinton campaign and in conjunction with a slew of shady “intelligence” agents and their respective agencies, one thing is perfectly clear:  they were all willfully wrong.  In fact, in the words of Rumble podcast host Dan Bongino:  “It was a coup.”

While Durham did not ultimately recommend charges to be filed, there is evidence and suggestions in the report to campaign finance violations with the FBI and Clinton campaign, as well as briefings at the highest levels of the executive branch to justify continued spying on a private citizen and political opponent, among other claims.

Gun control advocates continue to claim that only restrictions on gun ownership will keep people safe from mass shooters and other criminals. However, good people with guns can stop bad people with guns. And bad people will still have guns despite gun control laws. Further weakening the argument that restricting private firearms ownership will reduce violent crimes is the fact that states with “constitutional carry” — where individuals are free to exercise their Second Amendment rights without seeking permission from the government — have lower homicide rates than states with more restrictive gun laws.

The city of Baltimore has filed a federal lawsuit against car manufacturers Kia and Hyundai, joining a number of cities who say the companies created a public nuisance by making cars that can be easily stolen.

Last week, a Florida teacher reported she received a disciplinary letter from the Department of Education. She is facing disciplinary action for showing the Disney movie “Strange World”. The movie has LGBTQ themes and a parent complained when their child reported viewing the movie at school. The teacher in question was interviewed this morning on CNN.

In the interview, the teacher justified the movie by claiming students already talk about these topics and she cannot be expected to police all their conversations.

People took offense at her claim parents lose rights to their children once they enter a public school. That is not how this works at all, mam.

The US Court Of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit dismissed Elizabeth Holmes' request on Tuesday to remain free while her legal team attempted to overturn her fraud conviction, The Wall Street Journal reported. 

Holmes, the disgraced founder of blood-testing startup Theranos, was found guilty of four fraud and conspiracy charges in January 2022. She received a sentence of over 11 years in prison. 

She was previously ordered to surrender to authorities on April 27, but her reporting date was delayed while the appeals court considered her request. However, a new reporting date has yet to be set by the court. 

Not only was Holmes' appeal rejected, but she and former Theranos CEO Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani were also instructed to pay Theranos' investors $452 million. This restitution includes $125 million to be paid to Rupert Murdoch. 

Stefan Passantino, a lawyer from Washington, D.C., who provided representation for ex-White House staffer Cassidy Hutchinson during her testimony before the Jan. 6 House Select Committee, has filed a lawsuit against the committee, accusing it of damaging his professional reputation and causing harm to his career.

Passantino submitted a Federal Tort Claims Act Complaint amounting to $67 million against the congressional panel, alleging that the committee deliberately created and propagated a false narrative about him, intentionally interfered with his attorney-client relationship, and neglected his civil rights to advance a political agenda targeting former President Donald Trump.

“Liz Cheney and her collaborators on the January 6th Committee decided to peddle a false tale about Mr. Passantino and his relationship with his client without any regard for the truth or whether they were destroying the reputation of a good man; a reputation built over decades,” Passantino’s attorney, Jesse Binnall, said in a statement.

As the border crisis continues to worsen after the end of Title 42, Arizona House Republicans are crying out for action and assistance.

Last week, Arizona House Republicans used the Title 42 news from the border to highlight the need for more federal and state efforts to enforce the nation’s laws and defend innocent American families and communities. The House Republican Majority issued a statement demanding that “federal leaders end the border crisis and protect states.” Then five Representatives sent a letter to Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs, “urging her to take immediate action and activate all available state resources to keep communities safe from the dangerous and unprecedented threats presented by an unsecure southern border.”
