"Argument Against Abolishing Christianity in England" in A Modest Proposal and Other Satirical Works
"The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men." -- Samuel Adams

Tens of thousands of Palestinians fled a southern Gaza district on Tuesday, forced to forage for food and water in blistering heat after an Israeli evacuation order set off fears of a major new battle in its war on Hamas.

The United Nations estimated that up to 250,000 people are impacted by the Israeli military order for civilians to leave Al-Qarara, Bani Suhaila and other localities near the territory's second city of Khan Yunis.

Thousands spent the night on the streets as many families have moved so many times since the start of the war on October 7 that they have run out of places of refuge.

Israel has carried out renewed strikes in southern Gaza after ordering sections, including much of the city of Khan Younis, to be evacuated.

The attacks on Tuesday forced hundreds of Palestinians to flee densely populated neighbourhoods. Witnesses reported multiple strikes in and around the city.

Eight people were killed and more than 30 were wounded, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

The bombardment came in response to a rare rocket barrage aimed at Israel on Monday. That attack was claimed by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) group, which has fought alongside Hamas in the war that has raged since October 7.

Dozens of America's newest F-35 fighters could suffer millions of dollars’ worth of weather damage while waiting for a belated software and hardware upgrade, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday.

The Pentagon will have to bear all of the potential costs of repairing weather-damaged aircraft that exceed the $100,000 per jet that manufacturer Lockheed Martin is responsible for, the report said.

Lockheed Martin is planning to start delivering 75 to 110 aircraft this month, each of which costs between $82.5 million to $109 million, the report added.

F-35 fighters are at an airfield in Fort Worth, Texas awaiting the TR-3 hardware and software upgrade that was supposed to be finalized in July 2023, according to the report.

It’s useless in our world today to allow ourselves to be deceived in this over-the-top politics game, played out worldwide this year with 2024’s most elections ever in all of world history. The geopolitics chessboard is all kabuki theater, bread and circus for the mind-controlled masses through misdirection on a grandest scale. Hence, the US presidential election is garnering the most wag-the-dog attention. As a journalist and author for more than a decade, I’ve focused exclusively on the power elites’ tightening stranglehold, increasing their power and control over us humans through their Weapon of Mass Deception – nonstop divide and rule pitting countless groups against each other, and no more does this Modus Operandi apply than in today’s world of politics.

Virtually every major nation on earth is dominated by a duopoly of ideological divide, be it the political left vs. the political right, Liberal/Labor vs. Conservative/Tory, Democrat vs. Republican. And its bottom-line, the same power interest as bribing donors control both sides, not unlike the Rothschild City of London banking cartel for over two centuries has created every major conflict by financing both sides to every major war, bar none. Thus, the same ideological divide again applies, be it democracy vs. Communism, West vs. East, invented good guy vs. invented bad guy, all are owned and controlled by the same controlling interest, the Zionist City of London Khazarian mafia moneychangers. Be it through global destabilization, unprecedented mass migration crises, economic collapse, World War III, the next “killer” pandemic bioweapon, massive food shortage, all these WMDs are relentlessly, deliberately dropped on humanity today to bring about genocidal depopulation collapse for elites’ maximum dystopian control.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt is set to take over duties in the region after Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) targeted the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Red Sea with missiles and UAVs in response to earlier bombings, leading the supercarrier to exit after an eight-month posting.

Yemen's Houthi militia has released a video promising to sink the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt once it arrives in Red Sea waters.

The aircraft carrier is a "primary target for the Missile Forces of the Yemeni Army from now on, and will be subject to targeting upon its entry into the Red Sea," Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated in the video.

"If they want to take the risk, get themselves into trouble, and put themselves into the same predicament that Eisenhower was, let them come," al-Houthi warned.

Israel must be ready to face the consequences if it moves forward with reported plans to supply Ukraine with US-made air defense systems, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, has warned.

The US, Israel, and Ukraine are in discussions to deliver up to eight old Israeli Patriot systems to Kiev, the Financial Times reported last week, citing people familiar with the negotiations. This could affect relations between Israel and Russia, Nebenzia warned on Monday, as Moscow assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council.

“I believe that this could of course have certain political consequences,” the Russian diplomat said.

“The weapons, whoever they are sent by… to Ukraine, will eventually be destroyed, just like other Western and US weapons. That is obvious,” he added.

Authorities in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, have developed a plan to ring the entire city with anti-tank obstacles before the end of the year, Mayor Valdas Benkunskas announced on Tuesday.

The former Soviet republic on the Baltic Sea borders fellow NATO member Latvia to the north and Poland to the south, but also shares a border with Russia’s Kaliningrad Region and Belarus.

“Vilnius, as the capital of the country, is one of the main military targets, so it is necessary to do everything possible, in addition to military measures, to protect it,” Benkunskas told reporters.

The city has already made arrangements to buy two types of anti-tank obstacles, the mayor added, including concrete triangles dubbed ‘dragon’s teeth’ and the steel-beam ‘hedgehogs’.

French President Emmanuel Macron is undertaking a last-minute reshuffling in government agencies in order to prevent National Rally leader Jordan Bardella from governing as he wishes, former party leader Marine Le Pen believes. The RN is widely expected to gain a plurality in this Sunday’s runoff.

RN and its allies secured the lead in the first round of the snap parliamentary election last week, while projections in the French media anticipate the party ultimately winning between 230 and 280 seats in the 577-seat National Assembly.

“It’s a kind of administrative coup d’état,” Le Pen told France Inter radio on Tuesday, commenting on press reports that claimed Macron was rushing to appoint senior civil servants, including to top EU jobs.

Over the past days, Macron reportedly appointed several top officials, including the military governor of Paris, the new chief of the General Staff of the French Air Force, the new director of the EU at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and three ambassadors. He also proposed in Brussels last week reappointing Thierry Breton as France’s European commissioner.

According to Le Pen, “the aim” of such appointments is “to prevent Jordan Bardella from governing the country as he wishes,” should the RN win a majority in Sunday’s runoff. Le Pen said that if her party came to power, it would reverse these appointments so it “could govern.”

Russian specialists thoroughly studied the multi-component fuze of the US ATACMS tactical ballistic missile, an expert told Sputnik.

"This warhead was developed for an anti-ship missile, and was later installed on the ATACMS missile. We neutralized the fuze. An intermediate detonator is installed on it. The explosives have been sent for examination," the expert said.

The specialists also managed to open the fuze housing of the missile, he added.

"It has been almost completely examined. There are no secrets left for us," the expert said.

Ukraine has de facto gone into default due to a commercial debt of $20 billion, but it has not yet been declared de jure, Ukrainian lawmaker Nina Yuzhanina said on Tuesday.

"We have a problem with commercial debt, which amounts to no less than $20 billion ... we already have a default - de facto, we have it, but de jure we do not," Yuzhanina told the Novyny Live broadcaster.

The Ukrainian parliament may announce a possible tax increase to test the reaction of Ukrainian citizens, she said, adding that the decision is also being considered in the presidential office, but the Ukrainian authorities have not yet decided to make the issue public due to concerns over negative consequences.

France was the last European nation to lose its sovereignty, and France might be the first to recover its sovereignty. In the 1960s France was still a nation of ethnic French as contrasted with the tower of babel and a geographical entity that it is today.

During the ten-year presidency of Charles De Gaulle (1959-69) France’s policy was one of national independence. DeGaulle refused to join NATO, and he opposed a supranational Europe in which nations would subordinate themselves to a European Union.

French independence could be on the point of return judging from the success of Marine Le Pen’s party yesterday in the current French elections. Her nationalist party has in the first round of the parliamentary elections taken 34% of the votes with President Macron’s centrist coalition receiving only 21% support. If the second round produces similar results, a restoration of French independence is possible.

The US is involved in discussions about the possibility of transferring up to eight Patriot air defense batteries from Israel to Ukraine, in what would be a major boost for the latter in its fight against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invading forces.

While no agreement has been reached yet, a deal would likely involve transferring the batteries from Israel to the US and then on to Ukraine, the Financial Times reported.

It would be a welcome moment for Ukraine, which has long coveted more of the $1 billion US-manufactured Patriot systems.

“Israel’s Patriots would greatly expand Ukraine’s air defense capacity at a time when it is sorely needed,” John Hardie, the Deputy Director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies Russia Program, said.

The Federalist says

Biden claimed “there [are] 40 percent fewer people coming across the border illegally” under his presidency than Trump’s. That isn’t true, as illegal border crossings have skyrocketed to record highs under Biden’s presidency.

Not only is this an obvious lie about the border Biden is flat out flying in illegal aliens, but claiming they are no longer illegal since he’s letting them in.  He’s even flying in those previously deported. Of course, there’s those he’s paroling in too. Many of us believe this is all quite illegal, but who is going to stop him? Certainly not the Stupid Party.

Remember, the Democrats always stay on offense. So, a lie like saying that fewer people are crossing the border is nothing to them. Keep lying and double down. Why, Nancy Pelosi turned the tables on Trump immediately after the debate, claiming it was he (Trump) who had dementia, not Biden.

Not long ago, Ann Coulter had a good article (The Myth of Low Immigrant Crime) pointing out that illegal aliens do in fact have a higher crime rate than native-born Americans.  The media only rely on one unreliable study to advance their lie about immigrants being mainly law-abiding.  Even if they were, each crime committed by an individual who should not have been allowed into the U.S. in the first place is a crime that could have been avoided.

Here are some recent headlines from Borderhawk.news:

Guess Trump was right, they’re not sending their best.

Venture capital and military startup firms in Silicon Valley have begun aggressively selling a version of automated warfare that will deeply incorporate artificial intelligence (AI). Those companies and their CEOs are now pressing full speed ahead with that emerging technology, largely dismissing the risk of malfunctions that could lead to the future slaughter of civilians, not to speak of the possibility of dangerous scenarios of escalation between major military powers. The reasons for this headlong rush include a misplaced faith in “miracle weapons,” but above all else, this surge of support for emerging military technologies is driven by the ultimate rationale of the military-industrial complex: vast sums of money to be made.

On Friday, U.S. officials said that the pier built in May to distribute humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip was once again suspending operations — this time potentially for good.

The Biden administration has praised the project, but critics have called it “humanitarian theater,” and a "failure," as it's proven to be wholly inadequate for providing assistance to Gaza, where famine is looming and hospitals are unable to operate.

RS has been raising concerns about the project, mainly the costs, dangers, and lack of effectiveness associated with it. Moreover, asking why the White House chose this risky option instead of the far simpler solution of pressuring Israel to open humanitarian crossings and protect aid workers inside the Strip.

Today we let the numbers associated with this seemingly ill-fated venture do the talking:

This is what they do.

If they can’t beat you in a straight fight, they sue you in civil court. It’s what they did to Alex Jones. They’ve done it to others as well. Some of them, perhaps, much better than Alex Jones, and also not owners of multimillion dollar magic pill empires.

But what does North Korea have to do with this?

More than 100 victims and relatives of victims of the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas militants in Israel sued Iran, Syria and North Korea on Monday, accusing the countries of providing Hamas support and demanding at least $4 billion in damages.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., by the Anti-Defamation League is the largest case against foreign countries in connection with the attack, and the first backed by a Jewish organization, the ADL said in a press release.

Yeah so, Marine Le Pen finally dominated the elections in France.

I haven’t been following it that closely, because you know, whatever. I’m not really a big vote believer myself. I’m more of a Turbo Diesel Hilux kinda guy.

But I’m sure the election victory is good because it’s a sign that now that France is less than 60% French, French people decided they don’t really like immigrants. I think it would have been cool if they would have decided that like, 50 years ago, but I guess it’s cool they decided it now.

Anyway, yeah, I hear the riots by pro-Macron activists were mostly peaceful. Some fires. A lot of fires. Massive bonfires. Just pretty much burning everything.

But they remained peaceful. Mostly.
