i AM GOING INTO THE HOSPITAL TOMORROW (TUESDAY) FOR MY FIRST CATARACT SURGERY AND WILL NOT BE WORKING TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. IF ALL GOES WELL I…
Thought for the day
"It will give us, for a course of years, good government and then only end, due to the corruption of the people, in despotism, which will be the only form of government suitable for them." -- Benjamin Franklin on the Constitution Philadelphia, 1789.
The FBI 'drilled and pried' their way into 1,400 safe-deposit boxes at a private vault company in Beverly Hills after misleading a judge about their plan to permanently confiscate everything inside every box containing at least $5,000 in cash or goods, a senior FBI agent recently testified.
They rummaged through personal belongings of a jazz saxophone player, an interior designer, a retired doctor, a flooring contractor, two Century City lawyers and hundreds of others.
Agents took photos and videos of pay stubs, password lists, credit cards, a prenuptial agreement, immigration and vaccination records, bank statements, heirlooms and a will, court records show. In one box, agents found cremated human remains. -LA Times
The FBI and US attorney's office in Los Angeles justified the 5-day dragnet forfeiture at the US Private Vaults store by assuming that hundreds of anonymous box holders were storing assets somehow tied to unknown crimes.
At the end of the operation, agents had recovered more than $86 million in cash, and a 'bonanza' of gold, silver, rare coins, jewelry and other items of value.
Now, around 700 box holders who aren't implicated in any crimes liken the raid to police barging into a building's 700 apartments and taking every tenant's possessions when the only evidence of wrongdoing is against the landlord.
President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness plan will cost at least $400 billion over three decades, blowing away initial estimates of $300 billion, the Congressional Budget Office has estimated.
The plan, a handout for the middle and upper classes (and will only raise GDP by 0.1%), will provide debt relief of $10,000 per borrower, subject to income caps of $125,000 per individual or $250,000 per household - while Pell Grant recipients will receive an additional $10,000 of forgiveness, Bloomberg reports.
AT THE BEGINNING of a new “MasterClass” on diplomacy with Condoleezza Rice and the late Madeleine Albright, Rice explains that “some people have even said, ‘The diplomat lies for their country.’”
Soon afterward, Albright makes similar remarks: “There are some incredible definitions of diplomacy, which is, it gives you the capability to go and lie for your country.”
If this is in fact what diplomacy is all about — and presumably Rice and Albright would be in a position to know — this MasterClass shows that they are both incredibly committed diplomats.
War is a constant feature among the fictional superstates of Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia in George Orwell’s 1984. The government in the dystopian novel uses its near-perfect control of the media to rewrite history whenever an old ally becomes the new enemy, making it seem like "Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.”
Something similar is happening in Ukraine, where it has become impossible to know who is advancing and who is retreating. The American media has become so entangled with the doublespeak of war that readers get the impression that Ukraine has defeated Russia several times over.
Start with that nuclear plant at Zaporizhzhya. We were told the Russians hold the plant. We were also warned by the Ukrainians of a mass nuclear incident if the shelling of the plant did not cease. U.N. inspectors are on the ground tsk-tsking over the consequences should more bombs hit the plant and the cooling systems fail.
In 2018 during his speech to the UN General Assembly President Donald Trump lodged a warning to Germany about their country’s reliance on Russian energy.
The German delegation laughed on camera at the remarks.
Now Germany’s economy is tanking and Russia is in complete control of its energy as winter approaches.
On Monday Russia’s Norstream 2 Pipeline from Russia to Germany lost all pressure from 300 to 7 bars.
Earth’s ability to withstand an asteroid strike or comet hazard was put to the test for the first time as a NASA spacecraft collided with a non-hazardous asteroid in the ‘world’s first planetary defense test.’
“This is only a test – of planetary defense. Today, our DART Mission is set to crash into a non-hazardous asteroid to test deflection technology, should we ever discover a threat,” NASA wrote on Twitter.
NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART), a spacecraft the size of a vending machine, slammed head-on with the football stadium-sized asteroid Dimorphos at a speed of 14,000 miles per hour to alter its orbit forever.
“Watch from DART MIssion’s DRACO Camera, as the vending machine-sized spacecraft successfully collides with asteroid Dimorphos, which is the size of a football stadium and poses no threat to Earth,” NASA wrote.
Dozens of members of The Elmer ‘Geronimo’ Pratt Pistol & Rifle Gun Club marched in Austin, Texas on Sunday chanting anti-immigrant slogans and demanding reparations.
The black activists chanted, “Take your a$$ home!” and “Guns up, Shoot back!”
The gun club members want Joe Biden to close the border.
Democrats are going to have a problem with that one.
Here are a few videos from the rally this weekend.
How far are parents willing to let leftist educators go when it comes to the indoctrination of their children before they say “enough!”? Will the Democrat lawmakers and leaders who are supporting the theft of our children’s innocence pay a heavy price for supporting this radical “families last” ideology?
This weekend, a huge group of over 800 parents in the predominately Arab community of Dearborn, MI, came together to fight back against the sexualization of our children in public schools. The huge crowd included Muslims, Christians, and Jews who are fed up with the sexualization of their children and are coming together to fight back. Their goal is simple—Protect our children from the radical agenda of educators who allow explicit material on library shelves in public schools that can be accessed by students without consent from their parents.
Organizers of the Rally To Protect our Children included Mike Hacham, Stephanie Butler, Hassan Chami, Rola Makki, and Dr.Nagi Almudhegi.
100 Percent Fed Up – Pride Youth Day in Chattanooga, TN. (a red state) kicked off on Saturday with a speaker and discussion (we have no idea which topics they covered—perhaps the best sex toys for toddlers?). Drag Queen story time for kids began at 2:30, followed by a Princess Meet & Greet at 3:00 and a “Family friendly” drag show at 4 pm.
The drag queen event for small children took place at the Wanderlinger Brewing Company.
Conservative activist Robby Starbuck shared a compilation of shocking video footage from the Chattanooga Pride Youth Day event at the Wanderlinger Brewing Company. The video includes a little girl wearing a “rainbow” dress who appears to be about 4-5 years old is seen standing on a stage while Disney music plays and rubbing her hand repeatedly up and down the genitals of a man dressed like the “Little Mermaid” while he stands still and allows her to fondle him.
In another portion of the video, a drag queen can be seen lying down on a stage and spreading his legs wide open while toddlers watch from below. In yet another scene in the video, small children attempt to hide from an overweight man dressed in a gaudy green costume who lurks around the room until he finds a woman who will hand him (a perfect stranger) her baby, who proceeds to cry, as the drag queen hands the baby back. In the final scene, a child can be seen walking up on stage and handing one of the drag queens a bill (of an unknown amount).
The New Orleans Police Department is hiring civilians and organizing patrol shifts amid a staffing shortage.
While facing the shortage, the city has also been struggling with surging violent crime — especially murder.
The city has become so dangerous that it is on track to surpass Baltimore in homicides this year.
“According to data from AH Datalytics, compiled using the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program, New Orleans has a per capita year-to-date homicide rate of 72 per 100,000 residents. The next three U.S. cities behind New Orleans are Birmingham with a per capita homicide rate of 59 per 100,000 residents and Baltimore and St. Louis, each with a per capita homicide rate of 58 per 100,000 residents,” local station Fox 8 reported over the summer.
In November 2020, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden applied for dual citizenship with Russia.
Earlier today Edward Snowden was granted full citizenship by Russia.

Florida National Guard General James Eifert on Monday said the vaccine mandate does not impact his ability to activate unvaccinated service members to help with Hurricane Ian response efforts.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency on Sunday.
“This storm has the potential to strengthen into a major hurricane and we encourage all Floridians to make their preparations,” DeSantis said in a statement. “We are coordinating with all state and local government partners to track potential impacts of this storm.”
The Clinton Foundation is America’s largest unprosecuted racketeering and charity fraud case. Investigations of the Clinton Foundation, shelved by the corrupt and partisan DOJ, FBI, and IRS leadership, demonstrate a two-tier justice system with exemptions for the political elite.
As Gateway Pundit reported recently — the Biden administration announced a new plan to reduce domestic oil production, this time preventing new offshore oil drilling projects in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
Joe Biden on Monday delivered remarks at a meeting with the White House Competition Council in the State Dining Room.
Several historical war reenactments have been canceled in Upstate New York amid confusion over the state’s gun laws.
The Observer-Dispatch reports Living History Weekend, scheduled to take place last week in Herkimer County, was axed after local Sheriff Scott Scherrer said attorneys advised him that reenactors’ muskets could violate a new gun control law that took effect Sept. 1. Among other things, the law prohibits carrying weapons in “sensitive locations” such as public parks, museums, and sports fields, where many reenactments of American battles often take place.
It was a time of great and exalting excitement. The country was up in arms, the war was on, in every breast burned the holy fire of patriotism; the drums were beating, the bands playing, the toy pistols popping, the bunched firecrackers hissing and spluttering; on every hand and far down the receding and fading spread of roofs and balconies a fluttering wilderness of flags flashed in the sun; daily the young volunteers marched down the wide avenue gay and fine in their new uniforms, the proud fathers and mothers and sisters and sweethearts cheering them with voices choked with happy emotion as they swung by; nightly the packed mass meetings listened, panting, to patriot oratory which stirred the deepest deeps of their hearts, and which they interrupted at briefest intervals with cyclones of applause, the tears running down their cheeks the while; in the churches the pastors preached devotion to flag and country, and invoked the God of Battles beseeching His aid in our good cause in outpourings of fervid eloquence which moved every listener. It was indeed a glad and gracious time, and the half dozen rash spirits that ventured to disapprove of the war and cast a doubt upon its righteousness straightway got such a stern and angry warning that for their personal safety's sake they quickly shrank out of sight and offended no more in that way.
The FBI agent who recently left the bureau following whistleblower allegations that he shut down key details about the Hunter Biden investigation must testify, House Republicans have demanded.
Timothy Thibault, the former FBI assistant special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office, closed up a line of inquiry into now-President Joe Biden's son in October 2020 despite some of the evidence being known to be true at the time, according to whistleblower allegations. Now, Republicans in the House and Senate are calling for Thibault to speak with them.
For the last year and a half, a group of individuals in Arizona have been investigating the lack of accreditation of the laboratories that certify voting machine readers used in Arizona. Concerned that the machines are susceptible to manipulation — not just fully electronic voting machines but also electronic voting machine readers that are used with paper ballots here in Arizona — the group has made several unsuccessful attempts to get the courts to acknowledge the discrepancy, as well as calling upon elected officials in the state’s executive and legislative branches for assistance.
The group is currently represented by three members: Daniel Wood, Brian Steiner, and Paul Rice. Wood told The Arizona Sun Times, “Because the laboratories weren’t accredited, and the state didn’t adhere to the law, our election due process rights have been and are being violated. We would like to see ballots counted by hand instead of machine tabulation for the November election. If France, a country of 65 million people, can successfully count ballots by hand in its presidential election last April, a few counties in Arizona can do it.”
Electronic voting machines became commonly used after the disastrous 2000 presidential election, which left the winner unknown for days after the election due to “hanging chads” on the punch card paper ballots. In response, Congress passed the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), which created incentives for states to switch to electronic voting machines. HAVA also formed the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) which was tasked with developing a set of standards participating states are required to follow. Two of those standards, “accreditation” and “certification,” are of particular importance. Accreditation is the act of verifying a company as meeting all official formal requirements of excellence, competency, integrity, and performance. The law assigns sole responsibility to the EAC for the accreditation of any company that “certifies” the integrity of electronic voting machines used in our elections.
New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, known for her absurd hot takes, stepped in it again.
The Democrat-Socialist representative faced fierce backlash after she compared woman in Iran protesting for freedom to women in the United States protesting for unlimited abortion rights.
“Solidarity with the courageous women and allies in Iran protesting for their freedom. Mahsa Amini was senselessly murdered by the same patriarchal and autocratic forces repressing women the world over. The right to choose belongs to us all, from hijabs to reproductive care,” she said.
With Democrats more and more demanding mail-in elections, the delivery of those ballots – and the voluminous campaign literate – is becoming more and more important.
And that means Americans will rely more and more on the U.S. Postal Service.
Which, according to the Washington Times, now has been caught tracking the communications of 2nd Amendment advocates.
The report said the USPS "monitored protesters across the country, snooping on Americans focused on issues involving guns and President Biden’s election."
The Times said, "Postal inspectors tracked the actions of gun rights activists gathering in Richmond, Virginia; people preparing to demonstrate against police in Louisville, Kentucky, after an investigation into the police shooting of Breonna Taylor; and far-right groups headed to the District of Columbia after Mr. Biden’s election."
Covering Kiev’s expenses costs American taxpayers $1.5bn a month, according to the Ukrainian president
The Ukrainian authorities is being heavy supported with American money, with Washington contributing $1.5 cardinal per period to the budget, Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky has revealed.

After the fast spread of the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) from China to the Western world, several large pharmaceutical companies quickly invented and manufactured COVID-19 vaccines, which were then made available to the public through emergency use authorization (EUA). And in late 2020, people around the world started to receive these vaccines.
According to Our World in Data, to date, 67.9 percent of the world population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. While only 22.5 percent of people in low-income countries have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the vaccination rates of developed countries are generally high—typically around 80 percent. For instance, the COVID-19 vaccination rates of the G7 countries are: 79.19 percent in the United States, 86.96 percent in Canada, 80.92 percent in France, 77.66 percent in Germany, 85.82 percent in Italy, 83.60 percent in Japan, and 79.97 percent in the UK.
However, in all countries and regions around the world, there are people who elect not to receive the COVID-19 vaccines for various reasons. They are a naturally occurring control group, as opposed to the vaccinated population (i.e. the experimental group). Indeed, the whole COVID-19 vaccine campaigns can be regarded as the unprecedented largest human clinical trials on vaccine safety, by design or not, as the vaccines’ long term safety data was not available when they were provided to people under EUA. Then, the unvaccinated population in different parts of the world are very unique large control groups in such a global clinical trial.
At least 15 people have been killed, including 11 children, after a gunman opened fire at a school in Izhevsk city, 960km (600 miles) east of the capital Moscow, authorities said.
Russia’s Investigative Committee identified the gunman as 34-year-old Artyom Kazantsev, a graduate of the school that he attacked. He shot himself dead at School No. 88 in Izhevsk, located west of the Ural Mountains in the Udmurt region, authorities said on Monday.
Of the two dozen people injured, 22 of them are children, some of whom were wounded jumping out of school windows as they fled.
Alexander Brechalov, the governor of Udmurt, said the gunman was a resident of Izhevsk who was registered at a psychoneurological dispensary.
The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) hosted monkeypox vaccine pop-up clinics in the city’s South of Market region earlier this month. A flyer for the event, posted on the SFDPH official Twitter account, stated that in order to be eligible for the free shot, participants must “belong to one of the following priority populations: Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Person of Color, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or a Current Sex Worker (all genders and orientations).”

British consumers have just one week left to spend the last £11 billion ($12.4 billion) of paper banknotes that remain in circulation before the cash ceases to become legal tender.
