"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system that has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

"Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, and no secret is revealed." -- John F Kennedy, Speech April 27, 1961

Alabama's largest hospital, the University of Alabama at Birmingham health system, has announced a temporary halt to all in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments following a recent pro-life court ruling that redefined frozen embryos as children.

In a statement reported by Dayton Daily News, the hospital expressed regret over the impact on patients seeking IVF treatment, stating, “We are saddened that this will impact our patients’ attempt to have a baby through IVF."

Citing concerns over potential legal repercussions, hospital staff will cease IVF procedures as they navigate the implications of the court ruling. Dr. Michael C. Allemand, addressing the situation, mentioned that the staff is adapting day by day to comply with the new regulations.

In a recent Fox News townhall, former President Donald Trump revealed that his wife, Melania Trump, is set to make more frequent public appearances in support of his 2024 presidential campaign.

The former First Lady, known for her private nature despite a successful modeling career, is expected to step into the limelight more often, not out of personal preference, but out of a desire to see the country prosper.

"She’s going to be out a lot. Not because she likes doing it, but she likes the results," Trump stated on Tuesday. "She wants to see this country really succeed. She loves the country."

Trump's comments were in response to the surge of illegal immigration that has been witnessed under the current administration. "They're killing our people. They're killing our country. We have no choice!" he declared, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.

An active-duty airman set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. today, in uniform.

The District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department confirmed to Task & Purpose that they received a report about a man on fire outside the embassy just before 1 p.m. Eastern Time and dispatched emergency services. The fire had been extinguished by uniformed members of the Secret Service. EMS took the man to an area hospital, saying he was suffering from “critical life threatening injuries.”

The incident appears to be in protest of Israel’s war in Gaza. Independent journalist Talia Jane obtained video of the self-immolation, although it has not been posted online beyond accounts that are quickly taken down. On X, former known as Twitter, Jane reports that the man in Air Force uniform said he was “an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force and I will no longer be complicit in genocide.” Filming himself walking, he said that what he was going to do would be minimal compared to what is happening to Palestinians. He then set himself on fire and repeatedly shouted “Free Palestine.”

Communicating with Israelis may leave one bewildered. Even now when the Israeli Air Force is practicing murder in broad daylight of hundreds of civilians, elderly persons, women and children, the Israeli people manage to convince themselves that they are the real victims in this violent saga.

Those who are familiar intimately with Israeli people realise that they are completely uninformed about the roots of the conflict that dominates their lives. Rather often Israelis manage to come up with some bizarre arguments that may make a lot of sense within the Israeli discourse, yet make no sense whatsoever outside of the Jewish street. Such an argument goes as follows: ‘those Palestinians, why do they insist upon living on our land (Israel), why can’t they just settle in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon or any other Arab country?’ Another Hebraic pearl of wisdom sounds like this: ‘what is wrong with these Palestinians? We gave them water, electricity, education and all they do is try to throw us to the sea’.

Astonishingly enough, the Israelis even within the so-called ‘left’ and even the educated ‘left’ fail to understand who the Palestinians are, where they come from and what they stand for. They fail to grasp that for the Palestinians, Palestine is home. Miraculously, the Israelis manage to fail to grasp that Israel had been erected at the expense of the Palestinian people, on Palestinian land, on Palestinian villages, towns, fields and orchards. The Israelis do not realise that Palestinians in Gaza and in refugee camps in the region are actually dispossessed people from Ber Shive, Yafo, Tel Kabir, Shekh Munis, Lod, Haifa, Jerusalem and many more towns and villages. If you wonder how come the Israelis don’t know their history, the answer is pretty simple, they have never been told. The circumstances that led to the Israeli Palestinian conflict are well hidden within their culture. Traces of pre-1948 Palestinian civilisation on the land had been wiped out. Not only the Nakba, the 1948 ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinians, is not part of the Israeli curriculum, it is not even mentioned or discussed in any Israeli official or academic forum.

The Netherlands cannot abandon Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) due to the French TotalEnergies deal with a Russian supplier, Bloomberg news agency reports, citing sources.

"The long-term LNG contract between TotalEnergies and the Russian supplier has become an inconvenient obstacle to the fulfillment by the Dutch government of its promise to stop importing fuel from Russia," the agency said in a statement.

According to sources, the government cannot legally terminate agreements between two private companies.

We are talking about the participation of TotalEnergies in the Yamal LNG project. In accordance with the terms of the 2018 contract, the company sends part of the Russian LNG to the Netherlands.

According to the agency, the head of TotalEnergies, Patrick Pouyanne, promised to continue supplying LNG from the Russian Federation until sanctions are imposed.

A volatile weather pattern is evolving for much of the country next week, bringing damaging thunderstorms and gusty winds from the Plains to the Eastern Seaboard, forecasters said Saturday.

The surge of Arctic air is expected to bulldoze the record-setting, May-like temperatures experienced in recent days, warned Guy Pearson, Senior Director of AccuWeather for Business and Weather Warning Operations.

"It's a matter of how everything comes together in the atmosphere," Pearson explained. "We have all kinds of energy and moisture to work with, but the question is if all the pieces come together just right to define a large severe weather outbreak or not."

AccuWeather experts expect potent thunderstorms to develop late Tuesday and continue through Tuesday night across part of the Central states.

Video below seems to show those who accuse the Ukraine War as being one, giant, Money-Laundering operation are right. $1 Million in U.S. cash money ($100 Bills) was found in shoe boxes at the home of the former head of Ukraine Military Recruiting.

How much OTHER cash is being laundered through Ukraine and sent back to members of Congress and the Senate?   Maybe THAT is why they're pushing more funding for Ukraine so hard?

Here.  Look:  Your tax money being robbed and laundered through Ukraine . . .

On February 25, Ukrainian military and industrial facilities came under several waves of Russian strikes. The first results of the attack were revealed by local sources at night. In the afternoon, it was revealed that numerous targets were struck throughout Ukraine.

The Russian military used both various types of missiles and kamikaze drones during the combined attacks. The targets of the strikes included places of temporary deployment of the Ukrainian military personnel, military airfields and industrial facilities.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the “defeat” of every single Russian drone; but the official claims of the Ukrainian military were refuted by the claims of the local Ukrainian authorities, who confirmed Russian strikes in different regions.

Most of the recent Russian strikes are targeting the Ukrainian rear close to the frontlines, where the AFU are accumulating large forces for their further transfer to the battlefields.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has confirmed that Kiev plans to hand over to Moscow its settlement plan during the second conference in Switzerland but, in his words, this should not be interpreted as negotiations.

Zelensky commented on the statement by head of his office Andrey Yermak that Russia could be invited to the second conference on Ukraine in Switzerland. According to Zelensky, Russian representatives will be invited only to hand over to them a plan agreed upon by the participants in the conference. "Russia may not accept the document to be drafted during the first summit. This document will be presented to Russia and it will be ready for the second summit," he said during the Ukraine. 2024 conference that was aired by the Rada television channel.

However, when asked directly if talks between Ukraine and Russia are now possible, Zelensky answered in the negative.

Tel Aviv began a large-scale invasion of the Gaza Strip on October 27, three weeks after Hamas launched its ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ surprise raids into southern Israel.

The Israeli military’s operations in Gaza are in a state of “total chaos” thanks to the outsourcing of its logistics and repair services to private contractors, retired IDF Major General Itzhak Brik has warned.

“There is a total mess that’s not being talked about in the media,” Brik, a veteran of the 1973 Yom Kippur War and the 1982 Lebanon War known for his outspoken criticism of the modern IDF’s organization and culture, told Israel’s Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv on Saturday.

“Behind our excellent soldiers, there is total chaos. Equipment, logistics, food, everything that needs to be moved forward is not working properly, because the army has entrusted everything to private companies,” the retired senior officer complained.

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) warned Democrats are preparing to "blame Russian disinformation" again to prevent former President Donald Trump from returning to the White House.

“So for all of us who just care about America, the American people, our hard earned American tax dollars, get ready to be called a 'Russian blah blah blah' because Democrats know that Trump is going to win and they are setting up to refuse to certify his election, preparing to impeach him again when he becomes POTUS again,” Taylor Greene wrote on the X social network.

Democrats, she said, are already hyping the impact of "Russian disinformation" on a congressional investigation into the Biden family's foreign business ties and are ready to accuse those who oppose funding the conflict in Ukraine of supporting Russia.

"They are going to claim Republicans refusing to fund the Ukraine war which is killing an entire generation of Ukrainian men, is somehow ‘Russian something something’ while ignoring the fact that we just want to secure our border and don’t want to pay for the CIA’s wars anymore," the representative emphasized.

German citizens are now paying 41% more for electricity, heating, and fuel than in February 2021, the Berliner Morgenpost newspaper reported on Sunday, citing a study from the Verivox portal.

The report said that the portal used an average model according to which a family of three annually consumes 20,000 kWh of energy for heating, 4,000 kWh of electricity and travels 13,300 kilometers. In February 2021, such a family paid 3,772 euros ($4,081) for energy and fuel, while now they would pay 5,306 euros.

The European Union has been facing inflation and a massive energy crisis as part of the post-pandemic global economic recession. The situation has further exacerbated against the backdrop of the Ukraine crisis as hostilities and Western sanctions against Moscow have led to disruptions to supply chains and resulted in a spike in energy prices worldwide.

Vladimir Putin’s Russia is “not the Russia that we wanted,” Acting US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland has told CNN. Nuland explained that Washington wanted a compliant leader in the Kremlin who would “westernize” the country.

“It’s not the Russia that, frankly, we wanted,” Nuland told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Thursday. “We wanted a partner that was going to be westernizing, that was going to be European. But that’s not what Putin has done.”

Putin’s predecessor, Boris Yeltsin, enjoyed Washington’s support as he oversaw the rushed privatization of the Russian economy in the 1990s. Yeltsin’s reforms saw the rise of the so-called ‘oligarchs’, who amassed huge fortunes selling Russia’s natural resources to Western buyers, while the majority of the population dealt with declining life expectancy, soaring crime and homicide rates, and the collapse of the ruble.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has turned Ukraine into one of its major assets in spying on Russia over a decade that has passed since the 2014 Maidan coup, the New York Times revealed in its piece on Sunday.

The US specialists funded and organized a network of secret bases on the territory of the former Soviet state and made Kiev a part of a “secret coalition” against Moscow, the paper said, citing a host of current and former officials in the US, Ukraine and Europe.

Ukraine currently hosts at least 12 secret spy bases located near the Russian border that gather all sorts of information on Russia as well as coordinate drone strikes and a network of agents supposedly operating inside Russia.

The NYT journalists were able to visit one such forward operating base located in an underground bunker. The reporters said that the place was used to eavesdrop on Russian military communications and oversee drone strikes on Russian territory. The base was funded and equipped by the CIA, NYT said, citing a senior Ukrainian intelligence official, General Sergey Dvoretsky.

In a potentially alarming revelation, it has been suggested that the United Nations, in conjunction with the Biden administration, may be facilitating a significant security threat to the United States.

This claim, if substantiated, could represent one of the most severe breaches of national security in the country's 248-year history.

The former director of Panama’s National Border Service, Oriel Ortega, has implicated the U.N.'s migration agenda in the escalating crisis at the southern border. He alleges that the U.N.'s non-governmental organization (NGO) partners are deliberately exacerbating the situation. Ortega, who currently serves as a security and defense consultant to Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo, observed a sharp increase in immigration in 2016, coinciding with the arrival of NGOs in Panama.

"Foundation For Freedom Online" director Mike Benz speaks about how the Western defense and foreign policy establishment created, used, and then turned against the concept of free speech on the internet, during an interview with Tucker Carlson.

"Free speech on the internet was an instrument of statecraft almost from the privatization of the internet in 1991... Free speech was championed more than anybody by the Pentagon, the State Department, and the CIA cutout-NGO blob architecture as a way to support dissident groups around the world overthrow 'authoritarian governments,' as they were billed."

"Essentially, internet free speech allowed insta-regime-change operations to be able to facilitate the foreign policy establishment's State Department agenda," Benz said. "Google is a great example of this, Google began as a DARPA grant by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were Stanford PhDs, and they got their funding as part of a joint CIA/NSA program to chart how 'birds of a feather flock together' online through search engine aggregation. And then one year later, they launched Google and became a military contractor quickly thereafter."

There was a rare activation of the emergency alert system in the United Kingdom on Friday as thousands of residents in a regional city were evacuated from a Second World War bomb.

A 500kg (approximately 1,100lbs) Second World War era bomb was discovered under a garden by a construction crew on Thursday. A 300-meter (330 yard) exclusion zone around the property was established by police, and after it was decided the military would carry the bomb out to sea for disposal the evacuation area was extended around the planned route as well.

It was decided destroying the bomb in place would not be possible as doing so would likely take out several houses.

The Rothschild family’s Swiss and French branches are battling for dominance in the wealth management industry, which is causing tension and sparking speculation of a merger that would significantly impact the global financial landscape, Bloomberg wrote this week.

The Swiss private bank, Edmond de Rothschild Group, and the smaller French lender, Rothschild & Co., are the only remaining banks with links to the family whose name has been a synonym for wealth and power for more than two centuries.

The Rothschild family emerged from the Jewish ghetto in Frankfurt in the 19th century to become one of the world’s richest and most powerful financial dynasties that bankrolled wars and empires, and helped shape Europe’s economic and political history.
