Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) announced Wednesday that she had made decisions regarding another batch of bills sent to her desk by the legislature.

Of these nine bills, Hobbs vetoed six, including bills on natural resource conservation, modified firearms, and the voting equipment used in state elections.

Regarding the election equipment, HB 2613, sponsored by State Representative Steve Montenegro (R-Goodyear), would have required all vote recording and tabulation machines used in Arizona elections to be 100 percent manufactured in the U.S. and have all parts sourced in the country. Starting in 2028, the Arizona Secretary of State would be prohibited from certifying any election results from a machine that did not comply with the law.

However, Hobbs wrote that this bill would ultimately have a “catastrophic” effect on Arizona by making it near impossible for the state to carry out elections.

Montenegro responded to the veto, calling it a loss for American manufacturing and election security.

It is, I think, fair to say that if Ukraine and NATO appear to be winning this war there will be a nuclear war because the Russians will not go quietly into defeat. Remember that the Russians lost around 25 million men in World War II, defending their country against a German invasion. The Russians would fight just as hard against America.

New migrants pouring into the U.S. after the Biden administration let a COVID-19 restriction called Title 42 expire last week will not break the nation’s stretched court system. The system is already shattered, according to several former judges, immigration experts, and Department of Homeland Security data.  

The average wait time for a “Notice to Appear” before a judge at one of the nation’s 66 immigration courts is now four and a half years. In some cities it is much longer. In New York City, new migrants do not have to appear in court until 2032. This growing backlog creates an incentive for more people to cross the border and request asylum as each new case pushes assigned court dates further into the future. In the meantime, many migrants are permitted to live and work in the United States.  

Legal experts are criticizing the FBI for allegedly obtaining the financial records of U.S. customers with Bank of America "without any legal process" following the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

They spoke Thursday hours after several FBI whistleblowers made the allegations in testimony before the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

The allegations about subpoena-less bank-records gathering were included in a staff report from the full, GOP-led House Judiciary Committee that was released about an hour ahead of Thursday's hearing. 

A new report conducted by the Vaccine Confidence Project published by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) concluded that confidence in childhood vaccines has dropped by 44 percent in 52 countries in recent years. The report surveyed 55 countries and all but three countries—China, India and Mexico—showed a steep decline in vaccine confidence since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

South Korea and Papua New Guinea saw a 44 percent decline and Ghana, Senegal and Japan saw more than a one-third decrease in belief in the importance of childhood vaccines following the pandemic. In the United States there was a decline of 13.6 percent in the belief that vaccines are important for children.1 2 3

The report said that an estimated 67 million children did not receive vaccinations who otherwise would have before the pandemic was declared, with an estimated 48 million children not receiving any routine childhood vaccinations at all. Overall, vaccination levels fell in 112 countries during the COVID pandemic.4

The Food and Drug Administration pulled the emergency use authorizations for the original COVID vaccines produced by Moderna and Pfizer on Tuesday.

Both vaccines were authorized for emergency use more than two years ago after they were developed under Operation Warp Speed during the Trump administration.

In a news release, the FDA explained the older vaccines no longer offer full protection from new strains of the virus.

The agency said it had amended the emergency use authorizations of the initial Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines in order to “simplify the vaccination schedule for most individuals.”

Special Counsel John Durham found Monday that the FBI “discounted or willfully ignored material information that did not support the narrative of a collusive relationship between Trump and Russia.” Durham explains that the FBI “failed to uphold” its mission of “strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities.”

“The American Public was scammed,” President Donald Trump said on Truth Social.

Chris Farrell, director of investigations at Judicial Watch, put it bluntly.

“Trump is a crime victim,” Farrell said.

In 2021, Bank of America searched through customers’ data and transaction records and provided these data to the FBI following the Capitol riot.

Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff stuck to his story.

“This was an investigation that started in a flawed manner. It was conducted in a flawed manner, and its conclusion is a flawed conclusion,” said Schiff.

The former House intelligence chairman was referring to the 306-page Durham report. The long-awaited report from Special Counsel John Durham decisively concluded that “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”

Schiff has an ulterior motive for casting doubt on Durham’s findings, as he was a key player in pushing the Trump-Russia hoax for numerous years.

Top House Republicans are demanding that the Federal Bureau of Investigation be defunded and corrupt agents be indicted and arrested for their alleged violations of U.S. law after this week’s release of the much-anticipated report by Special Counsel John Durham.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has called on Congress to target the budget of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) following the release of Durham’s report. The report, which exposed the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign as lacking evidence and due process, prompted Jordan to condemn the behavior of Democrats, accusing them of perpetuating false narratives through legacy media outlets and Big Tech.

During an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Jordan highlighted the findings of Durham’s report, asserting that the FBI collaborated with Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016 to target Trump, and that in 2020, former CIA agents and intelligence officials supported Joe Biden’s campaign in a similar objective. Jordan stressed that the aim in both cases was to prevent Trump from assuming office.

Two of three FBI whistleblowers who testified before Congress joined Rep, Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, to speak out on Fox News following a contentious hearing.

Garret O'Boyle and Steve Friend alleged they were the victims of retaliation for expressing concern over alleged politicization and weaponization of the FBI. They testified Thursday before House Subcommittee on Federal Government Weaponization, chaired by Jordan.

On "Jesse Watters Primetime," host Jesse Watters asked about claims there is evidence FBI brass were handing out cash bonuses based on the quantity of new investigations opened.

"To some degree, yes -- it's a little more complicated than that. But there is a system in the FBI where the executive management does get a cash bonus if they get gold checkmarks in certain criteria," O'Boyle replied.
