“One of the creeping hands of totalitarianism running through the democracy is the Federal Bureau of Investigation... Because why does the FBI do all this? To scare the hell out of people… They work for the establishment and the corporations and the politicos to keep things as they are. And they want to frighten and chill the people who are trying to change things.” -- Howard Zinn, historian

In the wake of a debilitating cyberattack against one of the nation’s largest health care systems, Marvin Ruckle, a nurse at an Ascension hospital in Wichita, Kansas, said he had a frightening experience: He nearly gave a baby “the wrong dose of narcotic” because of confusing paperwork.

Ruckle, who has worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph for two decades, said it was “hard to decipher which was the correct dose” on the medication record. He’d “never seen that happen,” he said, “when we were on the computer system” before the cyberattack.

A May 8 ransomware attack against Ascension, a Catholic health system with 140 hospitals in at least 10 states, locked providers out of systems that track and coordinate nearly every aspect of patient care. They include its systems for electronic health records, some phones, and ones “utilized to order certain tests, procedures and medications,” the company said in a May 9 statement.

Dramatic footage has surfaced on X showing a Juneteenth celebration in Oakland, California, which was transformed into a warzone in the overnight hours. What appears to be gang-on-gang violence sparked an insane shootout on city streets. In a state governed by radical leftist Gavin Newsom, where common sense law and order are seemingly absent, such scenes are becoming more frequent. This incident further exemplifies why people and businesses continue to flee to safer, red states.

Local media outlet SFGate reported that as many as 5,000 people attended the Juneteenth celebration in Oakland's Lake Merritt area.

Around 2015 local time, a fight broke out at a sideshow involving "motorbikes and vehicles" at Grand and Bellevue avenues—and that was the moment when all hell erupted.

"During that fight, multiple shots rang out," said Paul Chambers, the OPD's strategic communications manager

Tyson Foods, the U.S.-based meat supplier that’s grown to be one of the world’s largest companies, offered shirts to employees for its annual Juneteenth celebrations that literally cross out “July 4” as the nation’s Independence Day.

Emails obtained by The Daily Wire show the poultry industry giant selling shirts for its annual Juneteenth celebration that say the holiday, marking the day in 1865 that African Americans in Texas learned that slavery had been abolished in the United States, is the nation’s true independence day.

“Juneteenth is my Independence Day,” reads one shirt offered, while another, under a crossed out July 4 date, states, “Juneteenth 1865 because my ancestors weren’t free in 1776.” Many of the shirts also incorporate the black power fist.

After The Daily Wire inquired about the shirts offered for the celebration, a source inside Tyson Foods says their Virginia office was ordered to cancel the sale and refund any employee who purchased a shirt. Days later, a spokesman for Tyson said it was “unaware of the t-shirt designs.”

Another possible route for this to occur would be through a "gain-of-function" experiment, in which researchers employ gene-editing to tweak the rabies virus, making it evade current vaccines and endowing it with the ability to spread through the air like measles or influenza. Gain-of-function research has earned increased public scrutiny of late as there's a small, outside chance it may have produced SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19.

Paul Offit, a professor of pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and co-inventor of a rotavirus vaccine, commented on the potential to augment rabies through gain-of-function in a recent Substack post.

"In the absence of an effective vaccine, it could eliminate humans from the face of the earth. The good news is that no one has tried to make rabies virus more contagious. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not possible or that no one would be willing to try."

California has become a test case of the suicide of the West. Never before has such a state, so rich in natural resources and endowed with such a bountiful human inheritance, self-destructed so rapidly.

How and why did California so utterly consume its unmatched natural and ancestral inheritance and end up as a warning to Western civilization of what might be in store for anyone who followed its nihilism?

The symptoms of the state’s suicide are indisputable.

Governor Gavin Newsom enjoyed a recent $98 billion budget surplus—gifted from multibillion-dollar federal COVID-19 subsidies, the highest income and gas taxes in the nation, and among the country’s steepest sales and property taxes.

Yet in a year, he turned it into a growing $45 billion budget deficit.

Marc Elias was Hillary’s attorney in her failed attempt to win the Presidential election in 2016. He later became famous for his work for the Democrat Party, ensuring that American elections are questionable and untrustworthy.

Elias traveled the nation and engaged in numerous actions and lawsuits in an effort to establish mail-in ballots and ballot drop boxes. These efforts allowed the Democrat Party to drop off ballots in the election that were not validated on where they came from (i.e., millions of ballots lacked chain of custody documentation) or from who they came from (i.e., signature checks were not performed).

This open election strategy helped Joe Biden and the Democrats steal the 2020 Election.

Marc Elias has been involved in dozens of lawsuits to make it easier for Democrats to steal elections.

Then in 2022, Marc Elias told MSNBC that the results in the midterm elections would not be known for days.  This is the line they use when you know Democrats are going for another steal.

In May, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled 7-0 in favor of a voter ID ballot initiative.

Now, Marc Elias is hoping to overturn a Nevada election law that forces election administrators to clean up the voter rolls.

Why would Marc Elias and the Democrats be against this?

On Wednesday’s “Newsroom,” CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger stated that former President Donald Trump’s brain was “broken.”

Host Jim Acosta began: “We’re hearing about so-called cheap fakes. It’s playing out on right-wing media, Fox, the New York Post, and so on. And all of this is to try to make the case that Biden is slipping, he’s confused, and so on. Of course, Trump is no spring chicken, and every time Trump lately seems to be talking about Biden’s mental acuity, Trump has a glitch or a slip-up himself.”

“One of the things there that he did yesterday, and it was a little bit in that clip, he was Trump was calling, cheap fakes, clean fakes. And so he’s just botching the language there. The other day he was referring to Doctor Ronny Jackson. But he said, Doctor Ronny Johnson,” he added.

The US is trying to bully China into invading Taiwan by claiming they are planning to invade Taiwan.

What purpose would China have in invading Taiwan?

Taiwan claiming to be an independent country and stockpiling weapons is a reason to invade Taiwan.

The issue here is: people don’t even think like that. It’s not a natural thought to have, that you would try to provoke an invasion by claiming you’re trying to prevent an invasion. That exact thing is undeniably happening, but people just really have a hard time processing it.

The Swiss “peace” kabuki came and went – and the winner was Vladimir Putin. He didn’t even have to show up.

None of the Big Players did. Or in case they sent their emissaries, there was significant refusal to sign the vacuous final declaration – as in BRICS members Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE and South Africa.

Without BRICS, there’s absolutely nothing the collective West – as in The Hegemon and assorted vassals – can do to alter the proxy war chessboard in Ukraine.

In his carefully calibrated speech to diplomats and the leadership of Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Putin delineated an incredibly restrained and strategic approach to solve the Ukraine problem. In the context of the Hegemon’s escalatory green light – actually in practice for several months now – for Kiev to attack deeper into the Russian Federation, Putin’s offer was extremely generous.

That is a direct offer to the Hegemon and the collective West – as the sweaty T-shirt actor in Kiev, apart from illegitimate, is beyond irrelevant.

Merrick Garland, Biden’s specialist in using law as a weapon against Donald Trump and his supporters, recently described in the Washington Post, a CIA asset, his critics as conspiracy theorists who are undermining trust in the Department of Justice (sic).

Many Americans have a different view. Garland, claiming “executive privilege,” covers up the Justice (sic) Department’s refusal to indict Joe Biden for the same offense for which Trump has been indicted by preventing the release of special counsel Hur’s interview of Joe Biden. Hur found that Biden knowingly possessed national security documents for which he had no permission, and that he was guilty of mishandling national security documents by leaving them in the trunk of his car and spread among a variety of non-secure locations. However, Hur concluded that Biden shouldn’t be indicted because of his “diminished mental facilities.” As I previously asked, how then is Biden qualified to be president of the United States and have his finger on the nuclear button? The Justice (sic) Department doesn’t say.

This and other anomalies that characterize the Biden regime raise unavoidable serious questions about the integrity of the US Department of Justice.

Deputy assistant to the US president Amos Hochstein has signaled that Washington would get behind an Israeli incursion into Lebanon, reportedly telling Beirut’s PM that Tel Aviv intends to shift focus to Hezbollah after fighting in Gaza winds down.

As reported by the Middle East Eye, citing an unnamed senior Arab official, this message was conveyed during talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and parliament speaker Nabih Berri on Tuesday. Hochstein bluntly warned that the US plans to support an Israeli attack should the two sides fail to deescalate tensions.

The US envoy added that Tel Aviv expects to significantly scale back its military operations in Gaza in around five weeks, saying the break could allow a new round of talks with Hezbollah even if no ceasefire deal is reached with Hamas.

However, Hochstein also stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would shift “full focus” to Israel’s northern border following the Gaza pause, with the goal of pushing the Hezbollah away from Israeli soil. Such an escalation would almost certainly undermine future peace talks.

The White House canceled a high-level US meeting with Israeli officials after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the Biden administration for delaying arms transfers to Tel Aviv. The Israeli leader said he needed the arms to finish the job in Gaza.

On Wednesday, Axios reported that Israeli and US officials said the White House was “enraged” by a video that Netanyahu posted the day before. The Israeli officials were en route to Washington when the Biden administration canceled the meeting. In the one-minute video in English, the Israeli prime minister blasted the Biden administration for withholding support.

“When Secretary Blinken was recently here in Israel, we had a candid conversation. I said I deeply appreciate the support the US has given Israel from the beginning of the war. But I also said something else,” he said. “I said it is inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunition to Israel.”

The spokesman for the Israeli military explained that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s goal of eradicating Hamas is not achievable. The statement comes amid a growing rift between the Israeli leader and the military.

In remarks to Israel’s Channel 13 News on Wednesday, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the military spokesperson, explained that the PM’s stated objective in Gaza is an insult to the Israeli people. “This business of destroying Hamas, making Hamas disappear – it’s simply throwing sand in the eyes of the public,” he said. “Hamas is an idea, Hamas is a party. It’s rooted in the hearts of the people – whoever thinks we can eliminate Hamas is wrong.”

The statement from Hagari reflects assessments from US intelligence and military officials that destroying Hamas is not something that can be accomplished. The US intelligence community’s threat assessment released in March said that Israel would likely be fighting Hamas for years to come.

Ukraine’s current military recruitment campaign is not going according to plan.

Announced on April 16, 2024, the drive was aimed at enlisting hundreds of thousands of young Ukrainian men to help push back against a Russian invasion that has gained momentum in recent months.

But the effort has been met with public skepticism, draft dodging and opposition to unpopular, heavy-handed attempts to root out those not heeding the call to sign up. It has left Ukraine struggling to fill the positions officials say are needed to beat back the invading army.

Rather than solving Ukraine’s problems, the draft effort is multiplying them. And that puts pressure on the West’s current strategy to support Ukraine primarily through military aid. Moreover, I believe it risks the prospect of troops from NATO countries eventually being pulled into direct military confrontation with Russia.

A Greek-owned bulk carrier ship sank on Wednesday nearly a week after an attack by Yemen’s Houthis, which reportedly killed one crew member on board. The incident marks the second vessel downed by the armed faction following dozens of raids on ships transiting the Red Sea.

Dubbed the Tutor, the cargo ship capsized off the Yemeni coast days after it was targeted by at least two Houthi munitions, with the British military suggesting it was struck by an “unknown airborne projectile” and another water-borne craft – likely an unmanned drone boat. The vessel took on water for some time before it ultimately sank.

  • As Israel is ethnically cleansing Gaza, the United States is ethically cleansing Israel. It doesn’t matter what Israel does to the Palestinians in Gaza. War crimes or genocide, it’s all ethically justifiable, according to U.S. government officials.
  • Never conflate the Jewish people with the deeds of the Israeli government. Many Jewish people have bravely spoken out against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. Holocaust survivors have powerfully said that “Never again!” applies just as much to Palestinians in Gaza (or anyone else for that matter) as it does to Jews.
  • Is any entity harming the Jewish tradition as much as the hardline Israeli government that is destroying Gaza? Is anything more anti-semitic than associating Zionism and Jewish identity with mass murder?

While Israel continues its military siege of Gaza, the United States is trying to exploit the situation with the goal of strengthening U.S. power in the Middle East.

Rather than seeking a long-term solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, the United States is prioritizing its longstanding goal of normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. With such a deal, which would require calm in Gaza to bring Saudi Arabia on board, the United States would further marginalize the Palestinians while more tightly integrating Israel into its regional network of alliances and partnerships.

“I think we’re at a point where the necessary agreements between the United States and Saudi Arabia are very well within reach,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Congress last month.

The Democrat-controlled state of Massachusetts has announced a new public ad campaign that will spend $1 million warning residents about the “dangers and potential harm” of pro-life pregnancy centers, in an unprecedentedly partisan use of taxpayer funds.

As reported by Fox News, the ads began appearing on social media, radio, billboards, and public transit on June 10th. The posts, signs, and commercials warn women to “avoid anti-abortion centers,” and to instead “search for a trusted abortion provider.” The advertisements are sponsored by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

“The troubling practices of anti-abortion centers serve to undermine the trust that people should have in our health care system,” said Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll (D-Mass.) in a statement on June 10th. “Education and accurate information can help counter the misinformation and unethical tactics these centers use to prey on people at a particularly vulnerable time.”

Congressman Eric Burlison (R-MO) has introduced a 5 page resolution that would effectively rescind the subpoenas issued by the January 6 (J6) Committee against Steve Bannon, Mark Meadows, Peter Navarro and Daniel Scavino Jr and withdrawing the recommendations that found them in contempt of Congress.

The resolution also calls into question the legitimacy of the J6 Committee, starting with deficiencies in the committee’s composition when then Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) refused to seat Republican members named by then Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

According to House Resolution 503, which established the J6 Committee, there were to be 13 members appointed to the Select Committee by the Speaker, with 5 of those members appointed after consultation with the Minority Leader. Instead, Pelosi seated only 9 members and then held hearings, issued subpoenas and published a flawed report without the required number of members.

“We appreciate the support from Good Samaritans in our community,” he wrote.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a separate social media post on Facebook that “mariners in a private vessel found a package containing approximately 21 individually wrapped kilograms of suspected cocaine.”

The drugs were found about seven miles off Islamorada, Florida, on Saturday, the sheriff’s office said.

The office posted a photo of one of the packages, which was emblazoned with an image of a bald eagle.

President Joe Biden’s executive order, designed to provide amnesty to over 500,000 illegal immigrants, is poised to face a series of legal challenges. Announced during a White House event celebrating the 12th anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, Biden’s order aims to offer deportation protection, work permits, and a path to legal status for certain illegal immigrant spouses.

To qualify, applicants must have lived in the United States for at least 10 years, be legally married to a U.S. citizen, and receive approval from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Those eligible will have three years to apply for permanent residency, allowing them to remain in the U.S. and obtain work authorization.

However, conservative groups and immigration advocates are gearing up to challenge the order, arguing it is unconstitutional and improperly extends executive authority. Matt O’Brien, director of investigations for the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) and a former immigration judge, described the order as “an attempt to create an amnesty by abuse of the parole authority.”

At a hearing entitled “Boeing’s Broken Safety Culture”, Richard Blumenthal, chair of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, declared that the company was facing a “moment of reckoning” – and called for prosecutions.
