“The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible.  … it is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world.” -- George Washington Farewell Address

For years I have been wondering when institutional scientists would break rank with the orthodoxy and publish on the COVID-19 vaccine debacle and particularly the failure of mRNA as an immunization platform.

Igyarto and Qin from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, United States, published a pointed review on the topic in Frontiers in Immunology questioning the idea of giving synthetic genetic code within a lipid nanoparticle particularly when the code was for the Spike protein which is highly pathogenic and at the same time, was known to mutate rapidly. Thus the vaccines from the start from a mechanistic perspective were doomed to be unsafe and ineffective because SARS-CoV-2 strains would easily emerge to coexist within the hosts who have been injected with the non-sterilizing vaccines.

How safe and effective are the mRNA-LNP vaccines?

“The mRNA-LNP COVID-19 vaccines, based on early analysis of the clinical trial data, were deemed safe and effective across demographics (45, 46). However, recent peer-reviewed research studies, a wide variety of continuously increasing case reports, and publicly available adverse events databases cast doubts on the safety and effectiveness of these products.”

American policy in the Middle East has entered the entropy stage. You cannot fault U.S. President Joe Biden or Secretary of State Antony Blinken for genuinely and honestly trying their best – but you cannot sugarcoat the results.

With the ominous specter of no hostage and cease-fire deal being reached between Israel and Hamas, the understanding that there is no war termination mechanism, the realization that consequently there isn't any "postwar Gaza" plan, and with increasing signs of possible escalation between Israel and Hezbollah (and conceivably Iran), the Biden administration is facing an excruciating dilemma: What is to be done?

The Americans tried and tried and tried, but as the old U.S. adage on the Mideast goes: "We can't want it more than the parties themselves."

Israel is at the height of a developing crisis that is far from being over. It's the most serious and dangerous crisis in the country's history. It began on October 7 with the worst failure in Israel's history. And it continued with a war that, despite the courage and sacrifice of soldiers and officers, appears to be the least successful war in its history, due to the strategic paralysis in the country's leadership.

We are now facing difficult decisions between terrible alternatives with regard to continuing the fighting in the Gaza Strip, expanding the operation against Hezbollah in the north and risking a multifront war that would include Iran and its proxies. And all this is happening while in the background the judicial coup continues, with its goal of establishing a racist, ultranationalist, messianic and benighted religious dictatorship.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, gave a long interview to the Swiss weekly magazine "Weltwoche" during which he revealed that Serbia controls the reserves of oil, flour, sugar as in 3-4 months we will have a world war.

Due to the very good relations of the Serbian president with B. Putin and Moscow, it is possible that Vucic knows what is going on behind the scenes and that he conveyed some Russian ultimatum to NATO, especially after the admission of the transfer of Ukrainian F-16s to NATO ones bases in Romania and Poland.

On June 12, the U.S. Senate chose not to approve a Democrat-sponsored Supreme Court ethics reform bill. The measure, introduced by Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), was put forward for unanimous consent but failed to pass.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) opposed passing the proposed Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act (SCERT) without a formal vote. This objection came after Senator Durbin requested unanimous consent from the Senate to pass the bill.

“Let’s be clear This is not about improving the court—this is about undermining the Court,” Graham said on the Senate floor.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz stopped by Hannity Wednesday night to absolutely torch the Biden Administration in the wake of reports that eight terrorists with ties to ISIS were caught at the southern border and ultimately released into the country.

“We are today at a greater risk for a major terrorist attack than since any time since September 11th,” Cruz said. “And we have seen for three and a half years a wide-open border — an invitation from Joe Biden and the democrats.”

CNN’s John King on Thursday warned about how fragile President Joe Biden’s coalition is in comparison to former President Donald Trump’s.

Biden has lost significant ground to Trump among black and Hispanic Americans across the six swing states, a May New York Times/Siena College poll found. King on “CNN News Central” noted these voters, as well as blue collar and young Americans, as demographics Biden is having a tough time swaying to vote for him.

“All the cracks in the Biden coalition, you can find them in Michigan,” King told host Kate Bolduan. “All of them. So you could look at it from the half empty perspective and say, ‘wow, tough state.’ Or you can look at it from the half-full perspective is ‘despite all those problems, it’s that close.’ It’s that close. So which way do you want to look at it?”

Another classic American restaurant is shuttering - due to the crippling costs of food, bills and labor since the pandemic.

After surviving for 62 years, Mr Powdrell's Barbeque will shut for good at the end of the month.

First, it will have a big farewell party for all its customers in Albuquerque on the Fourth of July. They will enjoy the outlet's famous BBQ sauce and slow-cooking method invented in 1870 and handed down through generations of the family.

Joe Powdrell got teary eyed as he reminisced about the restaurant's incredible journey - from his parent's opening it the 1960s - and told stories of his favorite customers.

Saudi Arabia and other oil producers are gradually diversifying away from the US dollar in their energy trade, a move that could eventually dethrone the "petrodollar" and undermine the US financial system, international political and economic analysts told Sputnik.

The Saudi Central Bank has joined the Bank for International Settlements’ (BIS) central bank digital currency (CBDC) project, mBridge, to enable instant cross-border payments.

Meanwhile, a so-called "petrodollar agreement" concluded between the US and Saudi Arabia in 1974, is said to have expired on June 9, 2024. Neither Washington nor Riyadh have confirmed the rumors so far.

The developments are seen as harbingers of a possible dollar demise in the global oil trade.

President Joe Biden snapped at a reporter for failing to 'play by the rules' at a press conference Thursday when he asked about a stalled Gaza ceasefire deal instead of Ukraine.

Biden lashed out a reporter for Bloomberg News who asked him about the situation in the Middle East, even while he was touting a 10-year U.S. security commitment to Ukraine alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

'I wish you guys would play by the rules a little bit,' Biden harrumphed.

There is no such agreement by the media to stay on a certain topic at press conferences.

A new round of US sanctions targeting Russia's Moscow Exchange (MOEX), National Clearing Centre and National Settlement Depository will further undermine the dollar's role, Sputnik's pundits say.

The US Treasury introduced a new round of sanctions against the Moscow Exchange (MOEX), the National Clearing Center (NCC) and the National Settlement Depository (NSD) on June 12 in a bid to shatter "the architecture of Russia’s financial system".

The US government issued licenses to wind down operations with the MOEX, NSD and NCC until August 13, 2024. The UK followed suit on June 13.

"It was clear that [Russian] regulators were ready for this kind of solution. The Central Bank warned Russian banks in advance about how it would act. By and large, there is no surprise here," Nikita Maslennikov, head of finance and economics at the Institute of Contemporary Development and a leading expert at the Center for Political Technologies, told Sputnik.

A few months back reports started to emerge of Illegal immigrants taking shelter in Boston’s Logan Airport. Now there are HUNDREDS of them living there, including whole families.

The New York Post reports that there are “throngs of families lining a baggage claim surrounded by suitcases and using sparse blankets for makeshift mattresses.”

“We continue to see migrants at the airport. They come to Logan a number of ways. They also arrive at Logan at all hours,” a representative from MassPort commented.

The rep. also noted that as quickly as the migrants are moved out of the airport to shelters, more arrive.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has announced that Ukraine and its future assistance will be a major focus of discussion in a Defense Ministers meeting Thursday and Friday, which comes parallel to the G7 summit happening in Italy, where both Biden and Zelensky are meeting on its sidelines.

Stoltenberg is urging members of the alliance to use "strong language" when it comes to membership, but also introduced a key caveat that he has not clearly expressed before in prior addresses on the topic: Ukraine must prevail in the war with Russia if it hopes to be a full member.

President Biden started to wander off during a skydiving demonstration at the G7 summit in southern Italy Thursday, with the host nation’s prime minister Giorgia Meloni pressed into action to pull him back toward the group.

As the leaders of the world’s wealthiest democracies applauded the evening parachuting presentation, the 81-year-old US president’s attention visibly wandered away from where the others were looking.

Biden appeared to miss the action happening right in front of him as he shuffled a few steps away from his fellow heads of government, turned the other way and appeared to say something to an officer packing a parachute.

An American journalist and author, who fled the US and has been residing in Mexico, has filed an Injunction against the US government for what appears to be “Transnational Repression” on the part of US authorities.

The claims made in Janet Phelan’s Injunction (Injunction and Exhibits 1-7 and Exhibits 8-18), which are buttressed by evidence provided to the court, include 1)claims of assault and battery via unconventional weapons, largely chemical in nature, 2) denial of medical care and 3) denial of access to the legal system. The Injunction provides evidence of a health crisis which the journalist claims is precisely caused by the weapons attacks, and includes renal failure and substantial crippling (the exact diagnosis being sensory ataxia) as effects of the weapons deployment. She also includes medical records of a recent hospitalization in Mexico City, where the assigned doctors, Julio Cesar Arriaga (nephrologist) and Javier Galnares (neurologist) failed to provide treatment or offer effective remedy for the diagnoses, instead discharging her after a month without effective treatment.

The Injunction also demonstrates extensive efforts on her part to resolve the issue with the US government via contacts and legal efforts, all of which were derailed by either law enforcement or a judge.

Ukrainian strikes anywhere inside Russia using Western-donated F-16 aircraft would not be an escalation of the conflict and would not make NATO member states parties to it, the military bloc’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has claimed.

Several European nations intend to provide dozens of the warplanes once Ukraine has pilots and ground infrastructure to fly them.

Speaking ahead of a NATO defense ministers’ gathering in Brussels, Stoltenberg said “different allies have different types of restrictions on the use of their weapons,” and welcomed the recent relaxation of these rules by some member states.

Washington reportedly gave Kiev the green light to fire American weapons at targets outside of what the two nations insist is Ukrainian territory, allowing strikes inside Russia’s Belgorod Region as part of the fight for the neighboring Kharkov Region. Other Western nations have also said their weapons can be used in similar ways.
