I am a bit burned out and I need time to recuperate. Also, I have some other things I need to work on, including developing some other revenue…
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of a higher obligation…To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus, absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means." -- Thomas Jefferson

On Friday afternoon, a bomb threat to multiple locations prompted the evacuation of a Target store in Utah.
The incident unfolded at a Target store located at 810 West 2000 North in Layton, Utah. Law enforcement, including a bomb squad and K9 unit, immediately responded to the scene around 1 pm, according to local news outlet KUTV 2.
All customers and staff were directed to the parking lot as a precautionary measure.
The threats extended beyond the Layton location, with stores in Salt Lake, Taylorsville, and Provo also targeted.
This is the incredible moment eco-activists stormed the grand final of Sweden's version of Strictly Come Dancing before a quick-thinking cameraman dramatically brought their stunt to an end.
Climate activists from the Restore Wetlands protest group ran onto the stage with powder paint and a banner, interrupting a performance during the Friday night final of Let's Dance on TV4.
Olympic skier Charlotte Kalla was dancing the paso doble with her professional partner Tobias Karlsson as a man and woman launched themselves in front of the pair while hundreds of thousands watched at home.
But one cameraman wasn't having any of it, and decided to take the protesters out by dropping an overhead camera onto the male protester's head, with the force of it knocking him to the ground.
Quantum invisibility. When someone hears this term, they instantly think of science fiction. But we are living in an era where yesterday’s science fiction is quickly becoming science fact.
Quantum invisibility is derived from an exotic metal known as a “metamaterial.” And whichever country (or company) can develop this technology first will have immense strategic advantages over the rest of the world’s countries.
According to Britannica, metamaterial is an “artificially structured material that exhibits extraordinary electromagnetic properties not available or not easily obtainable in nature.”
Currently, the United States and China are racing each other for dominance in the vital metamaterial market. Even though the US has invested in this technology longer than China, the Chinese are applying it in the real world.
In fact, there is ample evidence to suggest that China may have leapfrogged the Americans, thanks to a combination of sly industrial espionage and copious investments in state-funded research and development of the technology.
While meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other top Ukrainian leaders, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham gleefully stated that “Russians are dying… it’s the best money we’ve ever spent.”
After meeting with Ukrainian leaders, Graham expressed optimism that Ukraine would be able to re-take Russian territory. “I have never been more optimistic about the ability of the Ukrainians to go on the offense and take back their territory from the Russians,” Graham wrote in a tweet Friday following the meeting.
“President Zelensky and his team have done an incredible job fighting for not only Ukraine’s freedom, but for the idea of freedom itself,” he added.
Clips from Graham’s meeting with Zelensky and senior Ukrainian defense officials were released by the Ukrainian Presidential Press Service. Zelensky thanked the senator for his support, saying “free or die, now we are free. And we will be.”
When Senator Dianne Feinstein entered a hearing room this month to reclaim her seat on the Senate Judiciary Committee after a monthslong absence, she was accompanied by a phalanx of aides.
Two staff members settled the 89-year-old California Democrat into a chair at the dais as the assembled senators greeted their ailing colleague with a round of applause. When Ms. Feinstein spoke — during a vote on one of several of President Biden’s judicial nominees whose approval had awaited her return — she appeared to read from a piece of paper handed to her by a female aide seated behind her.
“I ask to be recorded as voting in person on the three nominees considered earlier, Mr. Chairman, and I vote aye now,” she said.
The aide knelt next to her and whispered into her ear in between votes — popping up repeatedly from her seat to confer with the senator, at one point clearing away the paper Ms. Feinstein had read from and presenting her with a folder that appeared to contain background information about the nominees.
Two pro-life advocates have been brutally assaulted while helping women with abortion alternatives outside a Planned Parenthood abortion business in Baltimore, Maryland.
According to one report, two pro-life men were viciously beaten, requiring one man to be hospitalized for a fractured bone in his face.
Here’s more on what happened this weekend:
Joe Biden’s decision to allow Title 42 to expire echoed his withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden’s trademark brand of inaction and unpreparedness led to the death of 13 American service members overseas. His inaction at our border will lead to even more American lives being unnecessarily lost.
Only a few years ago, under President Donald Trump, we were blessed with perhaps the most secure border in recent U.S. history. He ended catch-and-release, went after human traffickers, deported a record number of illegal aliens, and constructed almost 500 miles of border wall.
The numbers tell the whole story. The total sum of illegal entries for all four years under President Trump was 2,372,184. In just half the time, there have already been more than 2,378,944 illegal entries on Biden’s watch. April alone showed 550 percent more illegal crossings than when President Trump was in office. What a difference a border policy makes.
Biden-era policies have returned us to the practice of incentivizing continued illegal immigration to satisfy big business’ lust for cheap labor, rewarding non-citizens for breaking our laws so that political leaders can virtue signal in the name of “compassion.”
Democrat President Joe Biden’s “climate czar” John Kerry is calling for farmers to stop growing food in order to meet the administration’s radical “net zero” goals for lowering “emissions.”
Kerry, Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, issued the warning during a green agenda conference in Washington D.C.
During the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) AIM for Climate Summit, Kerry told the audience that “we can’t get to net zero, we won’t get this job done, unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution.”
Kerry warned attendees that his and other world leaders’ “lives depend” on farmers ceasing their operations.
Stopping farmers from growing food will lower agriculture “emissions,” Kerry insists.
Liz Cheney, a former U.S. representative and the daughter of Dick Cheney, urged recent college graduates to stand up for the truth and berated her House Republican colleagues for failing to do enough to refute former President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the 2020 election.
The Wyoming Republican reiterated her harsh critiques of Trump in a commencement address at Colorado College, although she avoided discussing her own political future or Trump’s 2024 reelection bid.
Cheney, who earned her degree in political science from Colorado College in 1988, said she remembered entering a campus building as a political science student and seeing a Bible scripture inscribed over the entrance that read, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
As one retired general is quoted as saying, the “(All-Volunteer Force) is facing its most serious crisis since Nixon created it.”
Since Nixon ended the draft after the disastrous Vietnam war and the Army was in shambles trying to get young men to enlist, this is a damning insight. But it may not be far off the mark, as the Army experienced a shortfall of 25 percent in enlistments in the last fiscal year, and the other forces — Marines, Navy and Air Force — barely made their quotas. By all reports, it’s supposed to be worse this year.
Why? Take your pick. Conservative Republicans like Ron DeSantis, an Iraq War veteran, are blaming the “woke” programs that they say detract from readiness and divide the force. Others say American kids are too obese, and fewer qualify. (The numbers bear all of this this out — only 23 percent of recruitment age men and women (17-24 years) — would qualify; much of that is because of weight, medications, marijuana/harder drug use, and tougher mechanisms today to ferret these out in the process).
Still others say the incentives are gone: there are more opportunities for young people to find jobs in the private sector without risking getting their arms and legs blown off in a war. That of course is a big reason: Generation Z saw 20 years of foreign forever wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere, heard all the stories about death, destruction, and systematic lying by the government to perpetuate them, and conclude, “Not for me.”
Kevin McCarthy trumpeted a debt-ceiling deal Sunday, but increasing debt another $4 trillion with minimal concessions is nothing to boast about.
To be fair, the House speaker has a razor slim majority and Republicans don’t control the Senate, where Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and his sidekick Lindsey Graham have announced that the only thing they care about is Ukraine.
But McCarthy’s one dealbreaker should have been his promise to defund President Biden’s massive $80 billion to turbocharge an already weaponized IRS.
This was the totemic centerpiece of his pitch to become speaker.
It was the most memorable promise of the Republicans’ midterm campaign to win back the House.
As the nation celebrates Memorial Day by reflecting on the service of veterans throughout our history, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has come under renewed criticism for a number of failures in its mission to provide care and benefits to veterans.
As reported by Just The News, the VA’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) released several reports and memorandums just before Memorial Day. VA Inspector General Michael Missal submitted his semi-annual oversight report to Congress, declaring in the attached cover letter that “OIG staff have identified significant deficiencies” within the VA.
“Our oversight efforts spotlighted in this report help illustrate how weaknesses in any of these areas of accountability can negatively affect veterans and can waste or misuse taxpayer dollars,” Missal added.
One example given in the report deals with “concerns revealed across four prior oversight reports about [Veterans Benefits Administration] decision-making on claims-processing issues that adversely affected some beneficiaries.” These included would-be recipients being denied their VA benefits due to being required to pass unnecessary exams.
It should be obvious, right?
Note: None of the below applies to LEGAL immigrants.
Here’s an analogy.
Someone breaks in through the window in your lounge. What do you do? Shoot them dead on the spot (“stand your ground” States), arrest them and call the police, chase them away and repair the window, or, as per current US, UK and EU behaviour, throw the elderly relative, veteran or kid out of a bedroom (doubling them up in another bedroom) feed the criminal, put the criminal on your health plan, give him access to all of your house and give him an allowance?
Perhaps once the criminal is properly ensconced in your house, you could engage the criminal in conversation like “is climate change so much worse in your home country compared to the US” or “do those tattoos mean you were imprisoned for drug use, or murder or rape?” or “were the reports of fentanyl smuggling, murder and rape on the way to y house, exaggerated by five or twenty times or were they much worse?”
The criminal could be male or female, may be diseased, and may be carrying their own child or someone else’s or could be a child between 7 and 17 years old. The chances are though that the criminal is a fit and potentially violent fighting age male.
The equivalent of that analogy is occurring every day all over the western world. In the US there are probably close to 40 million illegal immigrants in the bedrooms of various communities.
The US and its allies are “playing with fire” by doubling down on their support for Kiev amid the conflict with Moscow, including by planning to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
“Of course, it’s an unacceptable escalation,” Lavrov stated regarding potential deliveries of American-made warplanes to Kiev in an interview with Russia 1 TV on Sunday.
“I think there are reasonable people in the West who understand this. But everything is being dictated by Washington, London, and their satellites inside the EU,”
According to the minister, it is Poland and the Baltic States – Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia – that are “executing on the ground the aim set by the US to weaken Russia, deliver it a strategic defeat”.
In the aftermath of the storming of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters on Jan. 6, new video footage has emerged on social media, showing Antifa activist John Sullivan inciting violence at the federal building under the garb of a Trump supporter.
Sullivan, who was arrested by authorities on Thursday, told Fox News in an interview last week that he was at the protest in the capacity of a video journalist and to film what was happening but did not actively participate in the attack. "It's just recording, solely, and not being active in it," he said.
The CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie Dimon sat for depositions related to a pair of lawsuits linked to regarding late financier and convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
His testimony came as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the banking giant traded allegations over who was the biggest enabler of Epstein’s sex trafficking of minor girls, Fox Business Network reported.
JPMorgan Chase said Dimon “stated in a deposition Friday that he never met or communicated with Epstein, who was the bank’s client from 2000 to 2013, Reuters reported. Epstein remained a JPMorgan client after pleading guilty in 2008 to a Florida state prostitution charge,” the outlet reported.
Dimon’s testimony was an important milestone in a lawsuit first filed by U.S. Virginia Islands Attorney General Denise George in December, where she alleged that JPMorgan “turned a blind eye to evidence of human trafficking over more than a decade because of Epstein’s own financial footprint, and because of the deals and clients that Epstein brought and promised to bring to the bank.”
Sixteen unsealed excerpts of sworn video testimony from Planned Parenthood executives was released yesterday by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), which shows in their own words that Planned Parenthood was involved in obtaining “donations” of fetal tissue organs from women having abortions, only to illegally sell it to middle-man organ procurement companies for profit.
The video testimony was presented in court during a trial last fall in a case* brought by Planned Parenthood against the CMP members who were involved in the undercover investigation into Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts for profit. Among the defendants was Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue, who served as a CMP board member at the time of the investigation.
“From the beginning, we have been prevented from discussing evidence incriminating to Planned Parenthood, due to a gag order issued by the court. This allowed only Planned Parenthood’s false narrative to reach the public,” said Troy Newman. “In fact, the truth about Planned Parenthood’s illegal baby body parts trade has been suppressed for twenty years, since Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics, Inc. conducted the first investigation on this subject in 2000. Now, with the unsealing of this testimony and other evidence, the truth is finally being told.”
During a discussion at the recent Cannes Film Festival this year, Jane Fonda blamed racism and White men for climate change, also saying that the environmental crisis would not exist without the patriarchy.
“This is serious,” she said on Saturday. “We’ve got about seven, eight years to cut ourselves in half of what we use of fossil fuels, and unfortunately, the people that have the least responsibility for it are hit the hardest — Global South, people on islands, poor people of color. It is a tragedy that we have to absolutely stop. We have to arrest and jail those men — they’re all men [behind this].”
In response to a query from an audience member, she continued, delving further into her assertions that the climate problem would not have occurred without ideal circumstances.
A Russian lawmaker suggested the country launch a pre-emptive missile attack on Alaska in a television segment that surfaced just as Senator Lindsey Graham appeared to say Russian deaths from United States’ funding to Ukraine was “the best money we’ve ever spent.”
Duma Deputy Andrey Gurulyov said there were missiles stationed near the US “quite capable of scouring Alaska to the ground,” and that Russia should move with them instead of waiting for aggression from its enemies to attack.
Gurulyov’s comments came during an appearance on a state-run Russian news show hosted by Olga Skabeyeva, a commentator so known for her gleeful propaganda she’s earned the nickname the “Iron Doll of Putin TV.”
On the show, Gurulyov — who has previously suggested Britain be wiped “off the face of the Earth,” according to Newsweek — said Russia needed “not for us to respond to the threats we are confronted with, but for them to rush around with no idea what to do next.”
As Target faces backlash, resulting in monetary losses over its Pride collection, the company has sent an internal memo stating that those who worry about the sexualization of children are extremists. The line includes clothing and accessories for children, including shirts that read "Queer! Queer! Queer!" and onesies about how trans is beautiful.
The internal memo, titled "Threat Overview," states that "as political and social tensions rise ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Target will face a continued increase of physical security threats related to our commitments on contentious social issues including support of the LGBTQIA+ community and Pride Month."
John Cleese refused to bend the knee to the outrage mob who called for a joke to be removed from an upcoming stage version of Monty Python’s "Life Of Brian." The controversial scene features a man claiming that he is a woman and he can have a baby.
Cleese is working on a stage production of Monty Python's "Life of Brian," a 1979 movie about a man who is mistaken for Jesus Christ. However, actors allegedly told Cleese that one scene would need to be cut out of the reproduction for it not to be offensive in today's social environment.
The scene in question features a character named "Stan" – who wants to become a woman and have babies.
A new video exposes Maricopa County’s secret machine tampering, where they reprogrammed the voting machines on October 14th, 17th, and 18th so that 59% of them would fail when Republican voters came in to vote on Election Day in 2022.
As The Gateway Pundit recently reported, newly available records show that Maricopa County began “secret” Logic and Accuracy testing on October 14th, after the statutorily required October 11th test, and the legally required public notice was not given.
This is a smoking gun in Kari Lake’s stolen election contest. Lake attorney Kurt Olsen concluded that “this evidence would support our allegation that this election was rigged.”
Retail giant Target has partnered with GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network) for years. They believe this is a noble cause. GLSEN is a group that provides sexually explicit books to schools, pushes gender ideology throughout public school curricula, and advocates policies that keep parents unaware of their child’s in-school gender transition .
According to reports, GLSEN is a radical education group leading efforts to create ‘inclusive and anti-racist environments’ for LGBTQIA+ students.
“GLSEN believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education. We are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN Chapters working to make this right a reality,” the website reads.
Target Corporation confirmed its collaboration with GLSEN and expressed pride in their decade-long partnership. The company has been making annual donations to GLSEN, emphasizing its support for the organization’s mission.
But when did this all start? When was this introduced and promoted in public schools?
The size of one of the sun’s sunspots has increased to the point that it can be seen from Earth without the need of magnification; nevertheless, eye protection is still clearly recommended while viewing it.
It is no longer necessary to use a telescope in order to see sunspot AR3310 from Earth since its size has increased to the point where it is now visible with the naked eye. An image of the sunspot, with a little Earth superimposed on it, was released on the internet by a South Korean astronomer by the name of Bum-Suk Yeom.
“Naked-Eye Sunspot using Solar Glasses (or Solar Filter),” Yeom said in an Instagram post sharing the image. “A giant sunspot, visible to the naked eye, is crossing the sun’s disk. A [sunspot] can be seen to the left of the center of the solar disk.”
Sunspots are patches of darkness that appear on the surface of the sun and are created by concentrations of magnetic fields that are exceptionally strong and twisted. If these fields are strong enough, they prevent part of the heat from the sun’s core from reaching its atmosphere, which results in the surface of the sun being colder and seeming darker than normal.
The return to civilian life can be an extreme challenge for men and women who have served in the military, veteran Jim Lorraine says.
“What you have to understand, when you move from the military back into the civilian world, you’re really not just changing a job, you’re changing a culture,” explains Lorraine, president of America’s Warrior Partnership.
America’s Warrior Partnership works to build relationships with veterans and provide them with the tools and support they need to succeed after their military service. The veteran organization uses a four-step plan to connect, educate, advocate, and collaborate with veterans and prevent veteran suicide.
Unfortunately, Lorraine says “there’s people around you who have served in the military, especially Vietnam-era veterans, who didn’t have a good reception when they came home and now is the time to give them a good reception when they come home and make sure that they’re taken care of too.”
Lorraine joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to share his own journey of adjusting back to civilian life after over 20 years of military service, and to explain how America’s Warrior Partnership is working to prevent veteran suicide.
For a few months, a colour revolution had been brewing in Israel. Tens of thousands of citizens demonstrated, every Saturday night, predominantly in Tel Aviv, but elsewhere too. The demos caused traffic jams and interfered badly with daily life in the country. At its height, over 250 000 persons participated in one demonstration in Tel Aviv. Then PM Bibi Netanyahu postponed his legal reforms until after the holidays. It helped a bit: the demos slimmed in size and intensity. Frictions with Palestinians have also helped the PM. Still, it was a strong movement, similar to such movements in other countries, such as the Kiev Maidan, the NY Occupy, the Beirut Gucci Revolution, Arab Spring, Velvet Rising, Orange Revolution, Dignity Revolution etc. et al.
Now we have learned something about the central causes of the movement, from the NYT. The NYT discovered, through US intelligence leaks, that the driver behind it and its coordination were supplied by Mossad and Shin Beth, the external and internal intelligence services of the Jewish State. It was not a complete surprise; Israeli media duly informed its consumers that Mossad staff were permitted to participate in the demos; and Mossad’s retired bosses were paraded by the rebels as their leaders. Their deeper participation was discovered by their American brethren. The rebels’ love for America was made quite obvious by their demos at the US embassy. The national blue-and-white banners flew over the crowds stressing their patriotism, together with plentiful stars-and-stripes.
Hong Kong authorities on Friday condemned a British government call for the removal of a China-imposed national security law that Britain said had been used to persecute, "silence and discredit" pro-democracy opposition figures.
Britain's Foreign Secretary James Cleverly wrote in his government's latest six-monthly report on Hong Kong that he had highlighted at a U.N. hearing in February how Hong Kong authorities had used the security law to crack down on opposition figures, many of whom are in jail or have been forced into exile.
Cleverly called on Beijing to implement recommendations made in an independent U.N. Human Rights Council report last July, including "removing the National Security Law" that Beijing imposed on the former British colony in 2020.
Hong Kong authorities said in a statement that they "vehemently refuted, strongly disapproved and firmly rejected the slandering remarks and ill-intentioned political attacks".
