"This obsession with the slavery of the Antebellum South, again, it is something that happened in the past. No White person alive today in the United States of America has ever owned a slave. No Black person alive today in the United States of America has ever had to pick cotton.

But the reality is, we are all (White or Black, Brown, Red, Peach Taupe Mauve, Plaid) slaves anyway to the "Infernal" Revenue Service, to the Federal Reserve, to the IMF, to the military industrial complex, to the Medical Industrial complex.  We do not have the freedom to be independent.

We are forced to buy and to use certain products, to surrender our money for things we don't really want, and that really is an ideal definition of slavery: that your work product is taken away from you and you get nothing in return that you want.

But this obsession with the slavery of the Antebellum South is being fanned up to divide the American people against each other so that we don't unite together against the slavery that is happening in front of us now today.

You think about that for a while." -- Michael Rivero

Insider sources revealed that on April 26, Tucker Carlson had a conversation with one of Fox Corp.’s board members, who disclosed that his temporary suspension was a condition of Fox News’ settlement with Dominion Voting Systems according to Variety.

Although this condition was not documented in the settlement agreement, it was allegedly conveyed verbally. Compliance with this demand was crucial for Fox, as the settlement’s closure hinged on their adherence.

It appeared that Dominion sought to inflict maximum damage upon the conservative news network by severing ties with its most-watched cable news personality. By doing so, Dominion aimed to deliver a crippling blow that would prompt a mass drop of viewers, according to insiders familiar with the matter.

Lawmakers in several states are embracing legislation to let children work in more hazardous occupations, longer hours on school nights and in expanded roles including serving alcohol in bars and restaurants as young as 14.

The efforts to significantly roll back labor rules are largely led by Republican lawmakers to address worker shortages and in some cases run afoul of federal regulations.

Child welfare advocates worry the measures represent a coordinated push to scale back hard-won protections for minors.

Google has removed a game from its online store in Brazil which allowed players to trade and torture enslaved people, following criticism from figures in the South American country who say the US tech giant and the game’s developer should be held to account.

The game – called ‘Slavery Simulator’ – casts the player in the role of a slave owner who can buy and sell black characters, and inflict various forms of torture on them. It was withdrawn from Google’s online store in Brazil on Wednesday, a little over a month after its release, but remains playable for the more than 1,000 people who downloaded it over the past four weeks, according to the Brazilian publication Globo.

It has been recently revealed that Hunter Biden's legal team fought to keep testimony about his laptop away from the litigation over his Arkansas child support case.

According to Just The News, his lawyers argued in an April 20th filing that the financial records in the laptop, as it was "abandoned sometime in 2019", are outdated while confusingly at the same time arguing that this fact was "not an acknowledgment of ownership [of the laptop] or abandonment."

In effect, it is an admission that the personal data of Hunter was on the laptop in question but that the laptop itself is not necessarily Hunter's. They contend that "Evidence of Defendant's income from three years ago and beyond would not tend to prove his income today. Thus, the Court should exclude any expert testimony related to the laptop as not relevant."

On Wednesday, Meta finished off its three-batch layoff, which is aimed at eliminating 10,000 roles within the tech company according to a source close to the matter.

Meta Platforms, the company that owns Facebook and Oculus, announced back in March its intentions to lay off the 10,000 roles, updating that earlier in May it would be doing its second batch of layoffs. This comes after the tech company made cuts of more than 11,000 employees in the fall.

In the March announcement, CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the layoffs during the second round would be done in three different “movements” over the course of several months, but that the layoffs would be concluded in May. That may not be all though, with Zuckerberg saying that smaller rounds of layoffs may continue if needed.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy did not have an easy path to the gavel, but he finally secured it after winning over several members of the Freedom Caucus with pledges to help push their legislative agenda.

And so far, so good, for the California Republican, according to one of the more prominent members of the caucus, Rep. Matt Gaetz.

The Florida firebrand said he had “no plans” to remove McCarthy after “Fox News’s Chad Pergram reported that a source close to the negotiations told him McCarthy needs 180 Republican votes as a bare minimum to pass a debt ceiling bill — if he doesn’t, a conservative Republican could call for a motion to “vacate the chair” in a vote of no confidence in McCarthy’s leadership,” the Washington Examiner reported.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was finally able to see a long sought-after 2021 cable from diplomats warning the Biden administration about the situation of Afghanistan that was ignored, according to Just the News. The chairman and the committee's highest-ranking Democrat Representative Greg Meeks (D-NY) managed to obtain a reading of the cable after much evasion by the Department of State. The Texan chairman had to warn the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that he risked being found in contempt of Congress after ignoring a subpoena for the document.

Representative McCaul proclaimed, "[t]he dissenters [in the cable] were absolutely right about everything they said...And it was a warning to the administration about what was going to happen and what they needed to do. [The dissenters] deserve a medal...Unfortunately, the administration didn’t heed all their warnings and we got what we got."

A Turkish-born artist who moved to New York six years ago was instantly paralyzed from the neck down after a man allegedly shoved her into a moving subway train in what a prosecutor described Wednesday as a “completely unprovoked" attack.

Kamal Semrade, 39, was charged with second-degree attempted murder and other crimes in the alleged assault at a subway station in Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Sunday, according to a criminal complaint filed in New York Criminal Court and obtained by NBC New York.

The 35-year-old victim had a cervical spine fracture, a scalp laceration and other injuries after Semrade “grabbed her head with both his hands and shoved her with all his force into the moving subway car,” assistant district attorney Carolyn McGuigan said Wednesday during Semrade's arraignment.

Left-wing extremism is linked to toxic, psychopathic tendencies and narcissism, according to a new study published to the peer-reviewed journal Current Psychology.

“Based on existing research, we expected individuals with higher levels of left-wing authoritarianism to also report higher levels of narcissism,” the authors wrote.

As result of the new data, study authors Ann Krispenz and Alex Bertrams have coined a new term for such psychological behavior: the “dark-ego-vehicle principle.”

“According to this principle, individuals with dark personalities — such as high narcissistic and psychopathic traits — are attracted to certain forms of political and social activism which they can use as a vehicle to satisfy their own ego-focused needs instead of actually aiming at social justice and equality,” they told PsyPost.

Four police officers subdued a trans-identified male this week after he exhibited a disturbed outburst in front of a public school in Milan, Italy. Trans activists are now calling the arrest “transphobic,” and claiming police used undue force on an “unarmed trans woman.”

The incident occurred Wednesday morning just as children entered the Istituto Comprensivo Casa Del Sole, a primary school near Trotter Park. The trans-identified male, who is reported to be a Brazilian national, reportedly exposed his genitals in front of the children as they filed in for class. The man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, is reported to be without Italian residency.

According to Il Giorno, the man began shouting obscenities at the people in front of the school, saying he would “infect them with his blood” and that he was HIV positive.

Last year, the Forsyth County School District in Georgia pulled “All Boys Aren’t Blue, along with 7 other books from middle school shelves. It brought back all the books except ‘Boys’.

Now Biden is going after them.

The Department of Education conducted a civil rights investigation accusing the school district of creating “a hostile environment for students based on sex”.

How did the Georgia school district do this?

According to the Department of Education investigation letter, at the behest of the school board, “books that were obviously sexually explicit or pornographic” detailing “graphic details of sexual acts” were removed from school libraries.

This would have included All Boys Aren’t Blue which includes sections such as, “he reached his hand down and pulled out my d____. He quickly went to giving me h___” and “for the first few minutes, we dry humped and grinded.”

As shorthand for former President Donald Trump's unwillingness to accept his 2020 election loss, Democrats strangely chose the phrase "the big lie." Hitler had once used this phrase to describe supposed Jewish mendacity; his propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, had used it to describe British claims during World War II.

But as they make their weird foray into using Nazi nomenclature, the Democrats should be forced to deal with their own election denialism.

Trump is not the first person to deny an election outcome or even to try to overturn a majority presidential victory based on lies and conspiracy theories. For example, in 2004, Democrats challenged George W. Bush's decisive electoral and popular vote victory using false and baseless conspiracy theories about voting machines. Honestly, it sounds very Trumpian in hindsight, except that he is the one who learned from them.

At this point, 2004 is ancient history. But Democrats are still championing and building up their own election denialists — even nominating them for office. They still defend Hillary Clinton's refusal to accept her loss in 2016 based on a conspiracy theory her campaign created and spread about Russians stealing the election. Former President Jimmy Carter went so far as to claim that Trump had lost but "was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf." At one point, two-thirds of Democratic voters said they believed the false claim that Russia had tampered with state vote counts.

South Africa’s representative to BRICS Ambassador Anil Sooklal has hinted that the grouping is set to grow bigger this year with more than 30 countries having formally and informally applied to join the alliance.

The latest report indicates that the countries ready to join the BRICS alliance are Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sudan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe.

The development will come as a blow to the United States of America and other Western nations, which will see their GDPs dwindle to that of the BRICS.

Market watchers believe the move by Zimbabwe is aimed at neutralising an insatiable appetite for the US$ among its citizens, a development which authorities blame for continued economic shocks.

Abusive relationships follow a pattern. There’s a period of breaking the victim down, isolating them from their support systems, and making them dependent on the abuser. Then, the abused partner is maneuvered into the belief that she can’t get by on her own.

This master manipulation is how people become trapped in abusive relationships.

And, as I’m about to show, not all abusive relationships are one-on-one romantic relationships.

Election integrity is crucial for our Constitutional Republic and is rooted in the understanding that all legal votes will be counted. Our American elections should be secure, transparent, and honest.

Arizona voters are currently in a situation where Democrats are fighting against efforts to allow lawful votes from being counted in what has turned out to be the closest statewide race in Arizona history, the Attorney General race between Republican Abe Hamadeh and Democrat Kris Mayes.

Sometimes when voters go to the polls, they are required to use a “provisional” ballot but are promised by law that their vote will still count. Shockingly, there are currently over 9,000 provisional ballots that were never counted in the Attorney General race. This race is separated by just 280 votes out of 2.5 million votes, and Arizonans deserve to have every vote counted.

Mitt Romney has become known in most GOP political circles for things that are not flattering to him: He’s anti-Donald Trump, and he couldn’t pull off becoming president himself, losing twice in 2008 and 2012.

Now he may be in a fight to salvage what is left of his political career.

Romney will face a GOP primary challenger as he seeks re-election next year in Riverton, Utah, Mayor Trent Staggs, who announced he was running for Romney’s seat on Tuesday.

“Right now, Washington is broken,” Staggs said in a video announcing his candidacy. “And every time we compromise, it costs us trillions”

He added: “We have more IRS agents than border agents. And while we’re paying $4 a gallon for gas, they’re sending our money unchecked to Ukraine. Now, we’re almost $32 trillion in debt. Enough is enough.”

Former President Donald Trump’s case in Manhattan, New York, which was brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, is being panned by prominent figures as being weak and politically motivated.

Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 charges regarding allegations that he falsified business records related to adult film star Stormy Daniels’ hush-money case. Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury in a case involving his purported role in hush money payments to Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, allegedly to keep Daniels quiet about an affair the two of them had in 2006.

Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz expressed skepticism of the legal grounds supporting Bragg’s case, saying he is using “made-up laws” to muster a politically motivated attack.

“Nobody should ever be arrested based on made-up laws or combining a federal and state statute,” Dershowitz told The Epoch Times in an interview in March when news broke that Trump could be criminally charged. “I taught criminal law for 50 years at Harvard, and the one rule was, no creativity is permitted by prosecutors. The law has to be clear.”

Webmaster addition: Trump labeled money sent to his lawyers to forward to Stormy Daniels as "Legal fees." But Hillary did exactly the same thing regarding the payment for the bogus dossier created by Christoper Steele.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is demanding that governments around the world put regulations in place to ensure that rapidly advancing artificial intelligence (AI) technology is “inclusive.”

Klaus Schwab’s globalist organization is raising concerns about AI “deepfakes” and the “harms” that they can cause due to “misinformation.”

Deepfakes use a form of artificial intelligence called deep learning to make images of fake events featuring celebrities or other public figures, usually as a parody.

However, the regulations the WEF is pushing for deepfakes would also set the standard for more sophisticated AI in the future.

Webmaster addition: I guess we will have to change AI (Artificial Intelligence) to AL (Artificial Liberals)!

Ulloa underlined El Salvador's commitment to tackling the issue head-on without attempting to shroud the severity of the situation. "We don't want to hide the problem," he emphasized. "This is a problem that has been created for and by the social, economic exclusion and boosted by the violence in the community. So we have to deal with that."

Labeling immigration as a perennial concern, Ulloa made a compelling plea for the U.S. to devise a comprehensive, bipartisan plan to manage the issue. He also revealed that El Salvador had proposed a dialogue with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, envisioning a potential $4 billion investment in the region to foster job creation and improve living standards, thereby mitigating emigration.

However, Ulloa's disappointment was palpable as he disclosed that Harris had not responded to their letter. Despite multiple contact attempts by Fox News Digital, this silence from Harris' office underscores the urgency of addressing the issues plaguing the countries from which migrants hail.

The DOE made a decision earlier this week to roll back a previous grant awarded in the sum of $200 million dollars to Microvast Holdings, a company under the direct regulation and control of the Chinese Communist Party.

Federal investigators have joined the probe into a missing 30-ton shipment of ammonium nitrate that can be used to build high-powered explosives like that one used in the Oklahoma City bombing.

Roughly 60,000 pounds of the chemical, which was in pellet form, vanished during a two-week journey from Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Saltdale, California.

The shipment left a manufacturing site of Dyno Nobel, an explosives manufacturer, on April 12 and the report about the missing ammonium nitrate was made on May 10.

Preliminary inquiries suggest a leak in the rail car carrying the chemical caused it to spill during the journey. Union Pacific, the operator which carried the delivery, told DailyMail.com it does not believe there was any 'criminal or malicious activity involved'.

Webmaster addition: Are the Federal investigators investigating, or covering up (like the Warren Commission).

Now, ammonium nitrate by itself does not explode. It needs to have fuel oil mixed in, at 94% ammonium nitrate to 6% oil. So, about 4.5 tons of fuel oil. I have not heard of someone stealing that much fuel oil, so here is an alternative theory.

Ammonium nitrate is used as a fertilizer, and right now there is a fertilizer shortage in the US that is expected to last at least another year. That makes the stolen ammonium nitrate a very valuable commodity to farmers!
