The Fed has stated clearly now that it needs several more months before it will believe inflation is actually falling again, and this article explains clearly why that is. The two major factors that gave a tiny drop in CPI last week were oil and softening housing price increases, removing earlier pressure. Apart from the decline/softening in those two items, CPI would have risen. Since those were the major items where softening or downward pressures helped the Fed out and gave stock and bond markets a tingle in the seat of their pants, I’m going to lay out what is coming in those prices, and it is not likely good for the Fed’s fight.

Biotech giant Bayer last week signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Pairwise, a genetic-based food startup, to develop and market its CRISPR-edited mustard greens, modified to be less bitter. Critics say the products haven’t been evaluated for health or environmental risks and could contain toxins or allergens.

Net zero targets aimed at encouraging airlines to use so-called green aviation fuel are driving fraud “at a mass scale”, campaigners claim. Exporters in China and Malaysia are using virgin palm oil instead of recycled cooking fat to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), research from lobby group Transport & Environment (T&E) suggests. This means that rather than reducing CO2 emissions, the drive to adopt SAF may instead be driving deforestation.

Walmart has decided to close three more stores across the US, bringing this year's total number of failed locations to 11.

The retail giant said these three stores - located in Georgia and Colorado - underperformed financially.

The metro area of Atlanta will be losing one location in Marietta and one in Dunwoody on July 12, though Walmart stressed in a statement that there are nine other stores in the area customers can switch to.

The third Walmart to shut down was in Aurora, which is just east of Denver. It served shoppers for the last time on June 7.

A top doctor whose research paper helped fuel the Dr. Anthony Fauci-led 'propaganda effort' to discredit the Covid Wuhan lab leak theory came under attack in a Senate hearing on Tuesday.

Republican Senator Josh Hawley, from Missouri, ripped into Dr. Robert Garry during the hearing on the origins of COVID about his March 17, 2020 paper dismissing the lab leak theory.

The Republican put the doctor on the spot for publishing the piece that was used to discredit the lab leak theory - while in private emails just weeks before he cast doubt over whether it was scientifically possible for the virus to have originated in a Chinese market.

'I just can't figure out how this gets accomplished in nature,' according to emails from February 2020 that were read out by Hawley in the hearing.

A. Jointly exposing the fabricators of indictments and those who cover for them

1. This is a call by a grand juror lawyer to abusees, class action lawyers, and investigative journalists,
to join forces to expose those public officers in the administration of justice who have participated
in the fabrication of indictments based on false and insufficient evidence and/or its cover-up, e.g.:

a. former NY State Chief Judge Janet DiFiore; former acting Chief Judge Anthony Cannataro;
Bronx Administrative Justice Alvin Yearwood & Grand Jury J. Laurence Busching; et al.;

b. former NY Police Department (NYPD) captain and now NY City Mayor Eric Adams;

c. NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB) Chief Miguel Iglesias & Commissioner Edward Caban;

d. NY City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and his county counterparts in Bronx; et al.

2. Since 28 May 2022, some thirty public officers, whether personal or institutional, have been
informed by letter, email, and telephone of the fabricated indictments. A sample of the email
headings and text is collected in a pdf file‡; the addressees’ email addresses are in the bloc of
addresses below. Nevertheless, the officers have failed to even reply to them.

Call me old-fashioned, but if I follow a hunch down a rabbit hole and it leads to a dead end, I let it go. However, this, it turns out, is not how journalism is done at Britain’s major TV news organisations. Last week, both the BBC and ITV reported on the same non-story: that no evidence was found of Reform U.K. using ‘bots’ to influence its social media reach ahead of the July 4th General Election. Nonetheless, the stories these outlets published left readers with the clear impression that something nefarious had been exposed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a scathing video blasting the White House for holding back weapons shipments to Israel. Washington has blocked one transfer of 2,000-pound bombs but has overwhelmingly provided all the arms requested by Tel Aviv. The PM demanded the US supply the tools Israel needs to “finish the job a lot faster” in the Gaza Strip.

Claire's Observations:  Apparently there are not enough dead and maimed for life Palestinian women and children, to suit Netanyahu. "Finishing the job", means more death and destruction; Biden's handlers know this, and yet they seem to be willing to send him all the bombs and bullets he wants.

Security experts issued a warning to Google Chrome users after uncovering a cyberattack targeting the browser, as well as Microsoft's Word and OneDrive apps.

The attack has used fake error messages to trick users into installing the malicious software themselves as a 'fix.'

Hackers are sending notifications through email as well as website pop-ups, which claim the user has experienced a software malfunction and need of a quick update.

To spot a fake, experts have advised users to be wary of messages that claim a fix will require them to install a 'root certificate' by copying and pasting raw code.

While the cyberattack is capable of stealing all manner of private digital data, some of the new malware appears primed for stealing cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin.

Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun apologized to crash victim's families at a Senate hearing Tuesday before lawmakers roasted the executive for his role in the airline's turbulent descent.

'I'm deeply sorry…my whole team at Boeing, everybody worldwide past and present,' Calhoun told the audience in the crowded Senate room.

Onlookers held up portraits of victims who had died on Boeing planes, and there were too many faces to count.

Boeing has made headlines in recent years for broken landing gears, doors popping off mid-flight and multiple sudden system failures leading to catastrophic crashes in Indonesia in 2018 and Ethiopia in 2019 that resulted in scores of deaths.

The company's repeated failure to fix the plentiful problems has led to skepticism on Capitol Hill and lawmakers torched Calhoun for his role in the airline's downfall Tuesday.

He claimed that Trump is being persecuted like the Founding Fathers were by Britain and called for supporters to come out in November to cast their ballot for the former president.

Ramaswamy also predicted that President Joe Biden might not end up being the 2024 candidate for Democrats in November.

Since the Israeli onslaught on neighboring Gaza following the Oct.7 Hamas attack, Egyptian soldier Mohamed Omar* has felt helpless. Omar, 23, has served as a patrolling officer in Egypt's North Sinai, along the border with Gaza's Rafah, over the past year. The region is part of a demilitarized zone according to security pacts between Egypt and Israel, and only soldiers with light weapons are allowed to be deployed there.

"It is painful to know that you can help, but you are shackled and cannot help rescue your people from being slaughtered," he told Middle East Eye while on leave in Port Said, a destination for soldiers to rest before heading off to their units in North Sinai. "We've been watching and hearing how intense the Israeli bombing in Rafah is, and we see dozens of Palestinian families passing by the borders."

Vladimir Putin was met with a reception fit for a king upon his arrival in North Korea's capital city this morning.

After being greeted at the airport with a warm handshake and a hug by the pariah state's dynastic dictator Kim Jong Un, a huge motorcade ferried the Russian President to Pyongyang's main square where thousands upon thousands of adoring citizens were eagerly awaiting his arrival.

The crowds erupted into cheers and let loose a torrent of bright coloured balloons at the sight of the Kremlin chief, who stood beside his host and took in the rapturous applause before they made their way through Kim Il Sung Square along a huge red carpet.

The pair were saluted by a string of military guards atop snow-white horses before making their way past a gaggle of children clutching balloons and waving frantically at the smirking autocrats.

Other revellers were seen touting huge portraits of the Russian President standing beside the Russian flag - the colours of which adorned the facades of buildings around the square.

After several videos plainly showing Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline went viral over the last week, the left is now pulling the 'out of context' thing, suggesting that they're edited "cheap fakes" that are "done in bad faith," and both NBC News and AP running 'fact checks.'

Now, the media is doing 'fact checks' to debunk your lyin' eyes! Check out NBC's (9 million follower, 25k view in 12 hours, highly ratio'd post with hilarious replies) take:

They're now calling authentic footage "cheap fakes," which as we noted yesterday, appears to be coordinated messaging with the White House.

While "deepfakes" are misleading audio, video or images that are created or edited with artificial intelligence technology, a "cheap fake," according to researchers Britt Paris and Joan Donovan, is a "manipulation created with cheaper, more accessible software (or, none at all). Cheap fakes can be rendered through Photoshop, lookalikes, re-contextualizing footage, speeding, or slowing."

To recap:

  • Biden 'wandered off' during a G7 flag ceremony while he was supposed to be taking a photo with other world leaders before Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shepherded him back to the group. According to the fact checkers, he was 'paying respects to a paratrooper.'

According to the fact check, "Biden was greeting a parachutist who had just landed as part of the ceremony."

Yes, requiring Meloni to physically bring him back to the group.

  • He then did some weird nursing home mind-meld with the Pope, possibly (definitely) sniffing him. Unsurprisingly, no debunk! Apparently even NBC News couldn't defend this.

  • Then, the Hollywood Reporter's Chris Gardner showed a clip of Biden 'freezing' on stage last weekend, and having to be similarly guided off stage by former President Barack Obama

Claire's Observations:  No "cognitive decline", MY ASTROLABE!!

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr slammed the Biden administration on Friday - writing on X that President Joe Biden has yet to connect a single American with high-speed internet.

"In 2021, the Biden Administration got $42.45 billion from Congress to deploy high-speed Internet to millions of Americans. Years later, it has not connected even 1 person with those funds. In fact, it now says that no construction projects will even start until 2025 at earliest," Carr wrote.

"Meanwhile, the Biden Admin has been layering a partisan political agenda on top of this $42.45B program – a liberal wish list that has nothing to do with connecting Americans. Climate change mandates, tech biases, DEI requirements, favoring government-run networks + more.

Claire's Observations;  Would someone tell me, please, where the money for this program actually went?!?

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has said that authorization for Ukrainian use of American weapons for cross-border attacks extends not just to the Kharkiv region, but into other Russian regions as well, further escalating Biden's initial greenlight for such offensive operations.

Blinken in a Monday PBS interview told NewsHour's Nick Schifrin "This is not about geography, it's about common sense" and expanded the parameters for using NATO-supplied missiles. Watch the exchange below:

The following is what was said in this opening section of the interview:

Claire's Observations: NSA Advisor Sullivan, a word, please.

The acts of the US and NATO right now are the   polar opposite of "common sense", which would be getting Zelensky to sue for peace, along the lines Russian Ambassador, Ambassador Anatoly Antonov suggested yesterday in an his interview https://www.newsweek.com/russia-ambassador-path-peace-ukraine-1914297

However, the US Regime has a "timing issue" with this.  Theoretically, there will be elections in November, and Biden's opponent will be Donald Trump. One more glaring foreign policy failure (i.e., the Ukrainian government suing Russia for peace, to the tune of billions of dollars and massive amounts of arms sent to Ukraine), will be seen as Quixotic in the extreme, in the US and NATO's attempt to, allegedly, "weaken" Russia's government in Moscow, will NOT be viewed kindly in the West, and the Trump campaign

And the Trump campaign will seize on this as a big campaign issue. If Trump's people are smart, they will.

Lump this together with a rotten US economy; the debacle which was the withdrawal from Afghanistan;  a completely non-existent southern border; the mess in the Middle East, which is about to get much bloodier, courtesy of a US President who has "no game" when it comes to stopping Netanyahu's genocide of Palestinians, and you have an utterly failed US presidency.

So the US regime's plan here, is to let the war in Ukraine play out, as far beyond election season as the regime possibly can.

Sir, forgive me, but this is one of the most calculatedly deceitful propositions ever put in front the American people since the country gained its independence from Britain, and I must, in the most peaceful, moral, and responsible way, as a Christian Pacifist Activist,  witness against it.

And in closing, I would like to share to very true, old quotes.  The first is, those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it, and secondly, please;  be careful what you wish for, as the outcome of this war.

Authored by Andrew Korybko via Substack,

The New York Times published the full version of the spring 2022 draft peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine over the weekend, which confirmed a lot of what was previously reported but also included some interesting details from unnamed diplomatic sources about why these talks ultimately failed. According to a European one who was present at the Extraordinary Summit of NATO Heads of State and Government on 24 March 2022, Polish President Andrzej Duda dramatically railed against this deal:

“Leaders in Poland — early and strong supporters of Ukraine — feared that Germany or France might try to persuade the Ukrainians to accept Russia’s terms, according to a European diplomat, and wanted to prevent that from happening.

To that end, when Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, met with NATO leaders in Brussels on March 24, he held up the March 17 text, said the diplomat, who was present. ‘Which of you would sign it?’ Mr. Duda asked his counterparts, the diplomat said. None of the NATO leaders spoke up.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday announced that plans to launch an offensive in Lebanon against Hezbollah have been formally approved.

The IDF statement further said it is preparing to "accelerate readiness in the field" at a moment the situation is deteriorating, given the Lebanese paramilitary group backed by Iran has in the last days sent hundreds of drones and missiles into northern Israel. The statement spelled out that "operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon were approved."

The IDF released this photograph in making the announcement.

The military cited that the head of the IDF’s Northern Command Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin and chief of the Operations Directorate Maj. Gen. Oded Basiuk had given their final approval for the Lebanon battle plans

However, whether the trigger is pulled on launching the major operation remains to be seen, as outside diplomatic efforts to intervene also intensify.

During an afternoon briefing Pentagon spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder was asked by reporters about the newly approved Israeli battle plans. He responded: "I'm not going to get into hypotheticals and speculate on what might happen other than to say no one wants to see a wider regional war."

Claire's Observations:  General Ryder is "virtue signaling" here in this last statement; he know it is only a matter of time (and most probably, a short one at that) before US ":boots on the ground" will appear in Lebanon and elsewhere in the Middle East, and will be another "fait accomplit"  at Israel's behest/demand.

Hello everyone and welcome to the latest edition of Bird Flu Digest, formerly known as Off Guardian...

The wall-to-wall coverage of Bird Flu is getting wallier-to-wallier with each passing week, to the point it’s almost hard to keep up with the waves of hot takes and chilling insights. But if you’re going to try, the best place to do it is right here, where I spend a good portion of my time reading very similar articles in very similar papers all about the danger of a pandemic they’re about to pretend is happening.

Not a dream of mine growing up, but life’s like that.

Anyway…bird flu.

In our last bird flu update, we pointed out that the “bird flu death” in Mexico was very likely no such thing, and that reporting it as such was right out of the Covid playbook.

Since then the head of Mexico’s Health Ministry has criticized the WHO for calling it a bird flu death at all.

But the big bird flu news is that former head of the US CDC Robert Redfield has gone hysterical, telling NewsNation:

I really do think it’s very likely that we will, at some time, it’s not a question of if, it’s more of a question of when we will have a bird flu pandemic.
