More than three dozen migrants have died in a fire in a dormitory at an immigration detention center in northern Mexico near the U.S. border, immigration officials said Tuesday.

The fire broke out when migrants fearing deportation set mattresses ablaze late Monday at the National Immigration Institute (INM), a facility in Ciudad Juarez, which sits south of El Paso, Texas, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said.

Thirty-nine people have died and 29 injuries have been reported so far, INM confirmed in a statement posted to Twitter early Tuesday. The people who were injured were transferred to four nearby hospitals for immediate care, INM said.

The slaying of children in a Christian school on Monday by a person who police described as transgender came the same week that transgender activists had slated a “Day of Vengeance.”

The group–run in part by a former Democratic staffer–also raised money for firearms training and specifically called for action in Nashville, the city where the shooting took place–specifically naming The Daily Wire’s offices there. Little is known about the shooting at this time, and no link between the shooter and the group has been indicated.

The main Day of Vengeance event is scheduled to occur in D.C. at 11 a.m. Saturday, when attendees are asked to show up masked at the Supreme Court. Justice Brett Kavanaugh is a particular target of LGBTQ activists and narrowly avoided an assassination attempt by a far-left activist last year.

Legacy media outlets are upset that police in Nashville “misidentified” the gender of the biologically female shooter who killed six, including three 9-year-old children, Monday morning at a Christian school.

USA Today wrote in a tweet thread update that “Police on Monday afternoon said that the shooter was a transgender man. Officials had initially misidentified the gender of the shooter.” The New York Times also issued a statement, attempting to clear up “confusion” about the shooter’s gender. 

“There was confusion later on Monday about the gender identity of the assailant in the Nashville shooting,” the Times said. “Officials had used ‘she’ and ‘her’ to refer to the suspect, who, according to a social media post and a LinkedIn profile, appeared to identify as a man in recent months.”

Authorities released footage of the 28-year-old female shooter arriving at a Nashville Christian school and walking around the building where she would gun down six people, including three children.

Footage from security cameras around the Covenant School building shows the shooter arrive on campus and drive around the building before entering the school by shooting through glass doors. The shooter then walks through the hallways, holding her assault rifle up as she opens doors and peeks around corners. While the video does not include sound, it appears the school’s alarms went off as lights began flashing in the hallways after the shooter broke the glass to gain entry.

The 28-year-old woman who killed six people, including three children, at a Nashville Christian elementary school on Monday sent a chilling series of messages to a friend moments before she committed her act of terror.

The shooter — whom the Daily Wire will not name in accordance with company policy — sent the messages to her former middle school basketball teammate Averianna Patton over Instagram. Patton saw the disturbing messages, which she provided to News Channel 5, at 9:57 a.m., around 15 minutes before the shooter entered the school.

“I’m planning to die today. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!!” the shooter wrote to Patton. “You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die.”

The messages show that Patton pled with the shooter, a biological female who claimed to be a man, telling her that she had so much to live for, but the killer responded with even more chilling texts.

Embattled crypto guru Sam Bankman-Fried paid a $40 million bribe to at least one Chinese government official to get access to accounts that had been frozen by Beijing, federal prosecutors alleged Tuesday. 

Details of the 2021 bribe were included in a new indictment against Bankman-Fried — the former head of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and hedge fund Alameda Research — filed by federal prosecutors in Manhattan. 

The feds allege the shaggy-haired accused fraudster sought to unlock $1 billion in cryptocurrency in accounts that had been seized by the authoritarian state. 

“Samuel Bankman-Fried aka ‘SBF’ authorized and directed a bribe of at least $40 million to one or more Chinese government officials,” the indictment states.

A series of small earthquakes jolted residents in northern California on Tuesday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported an initial 3.5 earthquake at 6:01 a.m. local time near Pacifica, followed by a pair of 2.6 aftershocks at 6:03 and 6:04 a.m. local time. 

According to CBS San Francisco, there were no reports of damage or injuries. Residents from Santa Cruz to San Francisco felt the quakes. 

A Soyuz space capsule that suffered a major coolant leak in December departed the International Space Station without a crew early Tuesday (March 28) to return to Earth for engineers to study.

The leaky Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft cast off from its docking port on the Russian-built Rassvet module of the International Space Station without any astronauts aboard — a rarity for Russia's Roscosmos space program — at 5:57 a.m. EDT (0957 GMT). The Soyuz will land on the steppes of Kazakhstan at 7:46 a.m. EDT (1146 GMT) about 91 miles to the southeast of the city of Dzhezkazgan, but NASA did not broadcast the landing live. Roscosmos did broadcast it live on YouTube(opens in new tab).

"It's de-orbiting and descent to Earth went smoothly," Roscosmos officials announced on Telegram(opens in new tab) after landing. Images showed the spacecraft descending under its parachute and at rest on its side after landing.

Nashville police have released footage showing the moment a transgender 28-year-old shot down the door of a Christian school she attended as a child and began stalking the corridors, assault rifle in hand.

Audrey Hale arrived at the Covenant School in her Honda Fit just before 10am and killed six people before she was shot dead. 

Hale opened fire on arriving police from the second floor of the school before she was confronted by Officer Rex Englebert, a four-year MNPD veteran, and Officer Michael Collazo, a nine-year MNPD veteran. The pair returned fire and shot her dead.

Police have released frightening bodycam footage of the moment officers took out mass shooter Audrey Hale after she opened fire and massacred six people at The Covenant School.

The footage, released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, shows officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo storming through the school’s hallways as they methodically hunted down the mass killer on Monday.

Just moments after the officers fired at the shooter, Hall could be seen strewn on the floor and cops screamed “don’t move” and “get your hands away from the gun.”

On Monday evening, Nashville Metro Police Department released new details about the mass shooting at Covenant Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee.

The shooting led to the deaths of six people, three elderly staff members, and three nine-year-old children. 

According to the authorities, the shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Elizabeth Hale, drove a Honda Fit to the school. Detectives later searched the vehicle and found writings from Hale which is in addition to a manifesto found at her apartment.

Unlike the shootings at Michigan State University and East High School in Denver, Colorado, this perpetrator had a handgun and two AR-15-style rifles. You can already hear the anti-gun Left licking their lips—now they had a chance to score some points. Except they can’t, Audrey Hale was identified as the shooter, and this person was transgender. Hale was shot and killed by police during the assault. 

Once again, American politicians are pushing for new escalations in the Ukrainian conflict. Now, lawmakers want the Biden regime to supply cluster munitions to the Ukrainian armed forces. This type of measure would be seen as a serious provocation by Russia and would certainly have strong impacts on the battlefield and in the current diplomatic crisis.

Recently, some Republican senators formally asked the government to “not hesitate” to send cluster arms to Ukraine. James Risch and Roger Wickers, both from Mississippi, led the Congress campaign, and were also supported by Michael McCaul, from Texas, and Mike Rogers, from Alabama. According to them, Washington should ship such bombs as quickly as possible to Kiev, ignoring what they think to be “vague concerns about the reaction of allies and partners and unfounded fears of ‘escalation'”.

The pressure comes amid a context of “despair” on the part of the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev and the more pro-war groups of American domestic politics. Faced with the Ukrainian military failure and the imminent Russian victory, despite the systematic sending of weapons by NATO, the only solution seems to be to resort to the use of “non-conventional” arms. In this sense, the use of cluster bombs would be one of the “alternatives”, which is why Ukrainian politicians have asked US congressmen to increase the pressure for the government to allow the export of such equipment.

Covenant School, the Christian school where an attacker killed three students Monday, did not have armed resource officers on campus when the attack occurred, Fox News reporter John Roberts noted during live coverage of the shooting at the Nashville area Covenant School.

Nashville police spokesperson Don Aaron indicated the attacker was a young woman, who appeared “to be in her teens,” armed with multiple firearms.

Roberts said, “There was no school resource officer present at the school.  It’s a private school, it doesn’t employ anybody from the Nashville police department to look after the school.”

Breitbart News reported that there were no armed resource officers at Denver’s East High School when a 17-year-old student shot two staff members on Wednesday.

Denver Public Schools superintendent Alex Marrero responded by announcing two armed resource officers would be placed on campus.

Kennedy, Jr. and Children’s Health Defense (CHD) on Friday filed a class action lawsuit against President Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top administration officials and federal agencies, alleging they “waged a systematic, concerted campaign” to compel the nation’s three largest social media companies to censor constitutionally protected speech.
