"All the time—such is the tragi-comedy of our situation—we continue to clamour for those very qualities we are rendering impossible… In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful." -- C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
23-year-old paramedic Nicholas Theofilis died late Sunday night after he was found in cardiac arrest after crashing the ambulance he was driving into traffic in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Shadyside. Two other vehicles were hit, resulting in multiple injuries. There was no patient aboard the ambulance, however a passenger in front was seriously injured.
Joe and Jill Biden are devout, church-gong Catholics who make a point of being seen by the media meeting their weekly obligations for attending mass. Yet the Bidens have a cruel streak in them that manifests itself at Christmastime when children and family become the centerpiece of the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
California Governor Gavin Newsom says he won't challenge Biden for a potential 2024 re-election bid.
This is after much speculation that the California governor might go for it.
Speaking with Politico, Newsom sought to throw a cold blanket on the idea that he might run in 2024. He stated that there is irritation within the White House about the speculation that Newsom could try to take the nomination in 2024. Plenty of speculation had been building that he was someone who might step up and take on the role of Democrat torchbearer for his party, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
More photographs from an axed Balenciaga campaign are being questioned today over the prominence of a book which celebrates a Belgian artist whose work includes depictions of castrated toddlers.
Two photos from the brand's now canceled Spring '23 ad campaign feature French actress Isabelle Huppert posing in a Manhattan office with a stack of books behind her.
Among the books is one that celebrates the Belgian painter Michael Borremans. Borremans' work is varied but frequently features children. His 2017/2018 series, Fire from the Sun, shows a group of toddlers, some of them with blood staining their skin, in sinister composition.
Webmaster addition: Who would buy such a book? How did it get published in the first place?!?
New Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk said on Monday that Apple has threatened to block Twitter from the Apple app store, but has not given a reason. The news comes after a concerted campaign by anti-free speech progressive activists lobbying to force Google and Apple to block Twitter from their app stores in an effort to destroy the site after Musk rolled back progressive censorship.
A possibility for US-based Boeing Corporation to supply new high-precision small-diameter ground-launched bombs (GLSDB) to Ukraine may lead to serious consequences, military analyst, reserve colonel Alexander Zhilin believes.
"They consider making those bombs to be able to subsequently send them to Ukraine. for Russia, there is nothing critical here as they are not going to supply those bombs any time soon. Yet, this is a far-reaching trend. So far, Ukraine has been able to strike border areas only. It's not only about artillery here. I hope they will not cross the line behind which terrorist attacks may start," the analyst told lenta.ru news publication.
"Ukraine already has high-precision weapons, such as HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and other complexes. As for ammunition, there is one sign here. If the ammo that they use doubles or triples the amount that military logic requires, then it means that they have more than enough of that ammo. I can see that they have been using a lot of munitions lately, they do not spare them," Alexander Zhilin also said.
The United Nations Security Council has brushed aside Russian accusations regarding the biological military program that the United States allegedly pursued abroad and in particular in Ukraine. However, Russia still considers that the arguments advanced by Washington, and accepted by London and Paris, are not at all satisfactory. Moscow has, therefore, decided to call as witnesses the signatories of the Biological Weapons Convention who are holding the Ninth Review Conference in Geneva from 28 November to 16 December 2022.
In anticipation of this summit, Russia has just published 80 new documents, stemming from various sources.
During the Conference, Russia will push for the adoption of a legally binding protocol to the Biological Weapons Convention to include a list of pathogenic microorganisms, toxins and special equipment; take into account modern scientific and technological progress in the field of biology; and provide an effective verification mechanism.
In addition, it will propose to complement the confidence-building measures with information on biosafety research and development outside the national territory, as well as information on animal vaccine production facilities.
US President Joe Biden and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron will discuss Ukraine, China, Iran and the Sahel during the upcoming meeting in Washington, D.C., on December 1, a high-ranking US administration representative said Monday.
The official called the visit an opportunity for the two presidents to coordinate their actions on the most pressing global issues. The official said they expect Ukraine to become the core topic of the negotiations - just like during the numerous previous discussions this year. The two leaders are also expected to discuss challenges from China, Iran and in the Middle East, as well as economic and energy cooperation between the two countries, the official said, adding that Biden also intends to discuss the situation in the Sahel region with Macron.
Over 700 Ukrainian commandos are presently stationed in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said in a live broadcast on the Soloviev Live TV Channel on Monday.
"Over 700 militants from the Ukrainian special operations forces are deployed in the Zaporozhye Region on the territory controlled by the [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky regime. These are 700 plus men trained to cross the Dnieper, land an assault force and seize large industrial facilities," he said.
However, Russia’s strikes "persistently crippling depots of ammunition loads, ammunition rounds, military equipment and so on" disrupt these plans by the Ukrainian military, the regional official said.
An altercation has taken place between Polish "Mercenaries" fighting FOR Ukraine, and Ukrainian Army officers commanding them. The Polish Mercs and a grouping of about ten thousand Romanian "Mercenaries" also fighting for Ukraine, were allegedly ordered by Ukrainian Army officers to attack Russian positions around Bakhmut. Fierce fighting has been going on there for weeks and Ukraine is losing.
The Polish "Mercs" told the Ukrainian Army Officers it would be suicide for them and the Romanians to go attack, everyone else who has done so has been slaughtered by the fortified Russian positions.
The Ukrainians then allegedly told the Polish either attack or WE will kill you for Mutiny, at which point the Polish drew their weapons and KILLED the Ukrainian commanders.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the US-led military bloc will increase its presence in the region between the Baltic and Black Seas, announcing the move ahead of a two-day summit where the alliance is expected to renew a pledge to defend Ukraine indefinitely.
Addressing reporters at a Monday a press conference alongside Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Stoltenberg said NATO will deploy several new battlegroups in Eastern Europe, noting that such units have already been established in countries between the Baltic and Black Seas.
Stoltenberg went on to claim that additional military expenditures are necessary to defend member states from Russia, warning that Europe is facing its “greatest security crisis in a generation.”
“We need to be prepared for more attacks. That’s the reason why NATO allies have stepped up their support to Ukraine,” including with “additional air defence systems,” training and ammunition, he said.
EU diplomats failed on Monday to agree on a set price cap for Russian oil as a December 5 deadline for the policy is approaching, Reuters reported.
The main hindrance to reaching a deal was Poland, which is demanding a much lower price cap than what the G7 has requested. The EU was asked to put the price cap between $65 to $70 per barrel, but Poland wants it slashed down to $30, a similar figure to what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would like to see.
“The Poles are completely uncompromising on the price, without suggesting an acceptable alternative,” an EU diplomat told Reuters. “Clearly there is growing annoyance with the Polish position.”
The idea of the price cap, which has been pushed by US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, is to keep Russian oil on the market to limit an increase in global prices while keeping Moscow’s profits down. December 5 is when the EU’s oil embargo on Russia begins, although there are exemptions for land-locked countries, including Hungary.
Schiff’s latest delusional blabbering — on CNN, of course — was in response to GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy‘s confirmation, during a November 20 segment with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, that if he becomes Speaker of the 118th Congress on January 3, he will remove Schiff, Ilhan Omar, and Eric Swalwell from the respective committee seats:
So let it be said, so let it be done.
Let’s pass on the Mensa twins, Omar and Swalwell, for now, but the above confirmation from Kevin McCarthy did not sit well at all with Schiff for brains Mr. Schiff.
So what did Schiffty do? What he always does. He not only lied his rear end off, he concocted a ridiculous excuse, hoping enough people would buy his nonsense.
In July, Dutch police shot at a 16-year old protester, during farmer protests in the country. The young teen, Jouke, was released the next day without charges.
In an incident near the blockaded food distribution center at Heerenveen in Friesland, police officers shot at 16-year-old Jouke’s tractor, which was already turning away from the roadblock, missing the boy’s head by an inch (Gateway Pundit reported). Jouke and two other protestors were arrested on suspicion of “attempted manslaughter” after which an angry crowd gathered in front of the police station in Leeuwarden. All three have now been released without charges.
During the protests Opposition leader Geert Wilders released a bombshell letter showing the globalist Dutch government wants to use expropriated agricultural land for asylum centers.
April 2020 mass shooting in Nova Scotia has all the signs of a psy op for gun control
Two years ago, because of a 51-year-old mass murderer, many Canadians can spell the word Portapique. The male gunman killed 22 people, some of whom he knew. Many people now know Portapique is a village with barely 100 inhabitants in winter (250 in summer) in central Nova Scotia, a 90 minutes drive from Halifax.
Investigative journalist and author Paul Palango has written an excellent book, 22 Murders: Investigating the Massacres, Cover-up and Obstacles to Justice in Nova Scotia, documenting the Portapique massacre, the deadliest killing spree in Canadian history.
Russian state Duma Deputy Andrey Gurulev said publicly today "After the destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, strikes on the logistics facilities will begin." As of Monday, November 28, about seventy percent (70%) of Ukraine's energy infrastructure is already destroyed.
Logistics facilities are identified as specific buildings, warehouses, which host all activities linked to logistics and freight transportation.
So not only will Ukraine have no electricity, which likely also means no running water and no heat, things linked to freight transportation - i.e. movement of food and fuel - will also be hit.
Based on these public statement from Russia, it appears that Ukraine will no longer be an actual "country" when this is done.
