"Nobody loves America more than I do, you know. That's why we left, because I couldn't bare to watch. You kids have got to understand this. Like when my mother died, she'd been strong as an ox, fell down, broke her hip, went into the hospital and caught double pneumonia. She's laying in bed dying and I went over and held her hand. She looked up to me and you know what she said? "Why don't you give me some rat poison?" Couldn't listen, couldn't watch, so I went away. People said that I was at the height of callousness, it's not true. I loved her too much to watch her die." -- Allie, The Mosquito Coast

The latest state to green-light so-called terramation, or human composting, is Arizona.

House Bill 2081 and Senate Bill 1042, together known as the "Grandpa in the Garden" bill, both passed and were signed into law by Gov. Katie Hobbs on March 29. As such, Arizonans will now have the ability to compost their dead loved ones, allowing their remains to be spread on gardens and farms as "fertilizer."

Sponsored by Rep. Laurin Hendrix (R-Gilbert) and Sen. T.J. Shope (R-Coolidge), the Grandpa in the Garden bill passed in both chambers with little opposition after being introduced back in December.

Arizona now joins Washington, Oregon, Colorado, California, New York, Nevada and Vermont, which are the only other states where terramation is allowed.

We all know there’s something strange going on with our food in the United States. All you have to do is take a trip abroad, and you will instantly notice a difference in how you feel. Most people report feeling less bloated, lighter, and more satiated. This has caused many people to wonder what on earth is going on with the food supply in America. We’re inundated with processed junk food, sugar, seed oils, corn, and other fillers and preservatives, and many people are starting to feel as if they’re being slowly poisoned. And things get even dicier when you compare the food scene in America to what’s going on in Europe.

Many of the chemical additives we use in food in the US are banned in other countries due to research indicating they’re potential cancer-causing agents.

If this makes its way to the US, I am not going to be happy. I don't need any more anxiety in the grocery store, thank you very much!

In some places, stores have started using biometric recognition to support their checkout process. With this technology, you walk into the store and have your face scanned by a camera at the door. Once your face is scanned, you continue on into the store and your face is scanned against a criminal database.

If your face is found in the database, you're flagged and are probably going to be subjected to a search before you leave the store to confirm that you weren't shoplifting. Also, if you're suspected of shoplifting, the store reserves the right to save your image in the database.

If your picture raises no red flags, it's deleted right after it's taken. If you do get flagged, the database saves your picture for up to a year. You may be followed around more by loss prevention officers, or you might have your receipts checked and bags searched after every shopping trip.

On Monday, the jury selection process for Trump’s hush-money trial commenced in a Manhattan courtroom.

Judge Juan Merchan of the New York Supreme Court announced that as the court prepared for the first day of voir dire, he had received requests from Trump’s legal team asking the former president to miss the trial on May 17th in order to travel to Florida to attend Barron Trump’s high school graduation.

Merchan stated that he would not make a decision right away regarding Trump’s request to postpone the trial and move it to a different day.

“It really depends on if we are on time and where we are in the trial,” Merchan said.

Chinese nationals crossing the border in 2024 so far has massively surged from prior years and is causing heightened concern over why so many migrants from China are coming illegally into the country.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrested nearly 25,000 nationals from the People's Republic of China (PRC) since October, according to government data of crossings at the southern and northern borders over the last four years.

The recent figures represent an astounding 7,000 percent increase from the same time period in 2021.

Iran has threatened to use 'weapons it has never used' in a 'painful and severe' response if Israel launches airstrikes in retaliation to Tehran's weekend salvo.

Israel earlier vowed that it will respond to Iran's unprecedented drone and missile attack, amid fears that the Middle East is teetering on the edge of an all-our war.

As the West urged for calmer heads to prevail in the Jewish state, Iranian Parliament's National Security Committee Abolfazl Amoue stated that Iran is 'prepared to use a weapon that we have never used' if Israel responds further.

Speaking on Monday, he said Israel should consider its next steps and 'act wisely.'

A dozen Republican-led states plan to send a letter to Bank of America demanding an explanation for why it allegedly de-banked Christian and other conservative groups.

The letter obtained first by DailyMail.com, led by Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, demands that the financial institution turn over documents related to its account cancellation policies and requested that the bank update its terms of services to not discriminate against clients with certain political or religious beliefs.

The notice comes after it was revealed that Bank of America sent the FBI and U.S. Treasury private consumer financial data to help the agencies investigate crimes related to the January 6 Capitol protest.

'Unfortunately, Bank of America appears to be conditioning access to its services on customers having the bank's preferred religious or political views,' Kobach writes in the letter to Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan obtained by DailyMail.com.

Taxpayers across the United States are experiencing extensive delays in receiving their tax refunds, with some waiting years for the return of their money.

The Internal Revenue Service often provides no explanations for the lengthy waits, raising concerns among those depending on the funds. While delays can be attributed to factors such as identity theft, filing inconsistencies or technical difficulties within the IRS‘s computer systems, taxpayers find themselves in a state of financial limbo.

Chris Horan from Virginia Beach, VA, exemplifies the struggle many face, the New York Post reported. A head of sales for a financial-services software company, Mr. Horan has been awaiting his $30,000 refund since 2022. Despite regular checks on the “Where’s My Refund” online tool provided by the IRS, the status of his return remains “being reviewed.”

“In no world would I think I’d be in April 2024 waiting for a 2022 refund,” Mr. Horan said.

he attorney general of Idaho has requested that the Supreme Court lift a temporary injunction issued by a lower court that was blocking the state from enforcing its felony ban on “gender-affirming care” for adolescents.

“Gender-affirming care” includes medical, pharmaceutical, and surgical services, like hormones and gender reassignment surgery for those with gender dysphoria who wish to have an outward appearance that more closely reflects how they feel inside.

While lawsuits regarding the statute are pending, the Supreme Court overturned lower courts and permitted Idaho to implement its restriction on gender care for transgender youth on Monday.

The justices approved Attorney General Raúl Labrador’s (R-Idaho) request to limit the scope of a December district court order that had blocked the state’s prohibition.

Idaho may implement a 2023 legislation that carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence for doctors who give hormone therapies, puberty blockers, or other “gender-affirming” treatments to patients younger than 18. This is made possible by the justices’ order on Monday.

On April 1st  when as Israeli airstrike took out half the Iran embassy compound in Damascus, Syria along with Iran’s top ranking generals and 5 other officers, Israel clearly violated international law (both UN Charter Article 51 and 1961’s Vienna Convention) that protects foreign nations’ embassies, consulates and staff around the world. The targeted slain victims were all invited military advisors stationed in Syria, unlike the illegal US military occupiers refusing to leave both Syria and Iraq.

Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei responded by informing Israel and the world that it will deliver a payback “slap in the face” to Israel for its escalated aggression that is clearly a Netanyahu provocation, deliberately attempting to ignite the larger war in the Middle East in order to drag the US into World War III. Though Biden made the usual claim that US support for Israel is “ironclad,” sending US aircraft and destroyers into the area with missile ballistic defense systems to protect Israel, he also made an agreement with Iran not to intervene against Iran’s response after Iran warned the US to stay out of Tehran’s retribution in answer to Israel’s latest aggression.

There were shocking scenes on the streets of New York City on Monday as Palestinian activists set fire to an American flag being held by Israel supporters while chanting 'Death to America!' right under the noses of the NYPD.

There were audible gasps as the Stars and Stripes being held by a pro-Israel counter-protestor was set alight and then waved in the air - as bright yellow flames could be seen coming from the flag.

Police officers stationed at the protest outside the New York Stock Exchange could be seen wrestling the flag and stamping out the fire as it was brought to the ground.

Moments later, a fellow protestor could be heard yelling 'Death to America'.

In an article titled “Israel vows to retaliate against Iran for missile attacks,” Axios reports that the Israeli defense minister has informed his American counterpart that Israel “has no choice” but to attack Iran for the retaliatory strike it launched in response to Israel’s deadly attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

“Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant told Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Sunday that Israel has no choice but to respond to the unprecedented missile and drone attack launched by Iran over the weekend,” reports Axios, citing an anonymous US official and another unnamed source.

The state of Israel has been churning out massive lies on a daily basis for the last six months, but this whopper could wind up being the most consequential.

The more I think about it the more obnoxious I find the Biden administration’s “Gee whiz, I sure hope Israel doesn’t drag us into a giant war in the middle east” posturing and the imperial media’s facilitation of it.

CNN has a new article out titled “As Iran attacks Israel, Biden confronts an escalating Middle East crisis he had hoped to avoid,” which is a genre of story that has been coming out in slightly different iterations again and again for the past six months. Every time Israel does something that makes things more dangerous in the middle east with the assistance of the United States, the American press fall all over themselves to inform the world that the president really doesn’t want this to happen and that his feelings are very upset about it.

“For President Joe Biden, an attack on Israel launched from Iranian soil amounts to a scenario he’d greatly sought to avoid since the start of the current Middle East conflict,” writes CNN, saying the strikes “heighten the risk of a wider regional conflict that could directly draw in the United States, along with other countries.”

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has urged the collective West to become involved in the conflict with Russia and protect Kiev similar to how it aided Israel during the Iranian airstrike over the weekend.

Zelensky issued the appeal in a Telegram post on Monday, showering praise on the “allied action” to help Israel. According to Israeli and Western claims, the vast majority of the projectiles fired by Iran were shot down before even reaching the country’s airspace, primarily by US and UK jets.

“It demonstrated how truly effective unity in defending against terror can be when it is based on sufficient political will. Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Jordan acted together and with maximum efficiency,” Zelensky asserted.
