The German Federal Office for Information Security (BIS) has issued an urgent alert about the poor state of Microsoft Exchange Server patching in the country.

The government regulator says there are 17,000 or more Exchange Server instances in Germany vulnerable to at least one critical vulnerability, out of around 45,000 public-facing servers in the Euro nation running the software.

Of these servers, 12 percent are running a version of Exchange Server that is ordinarily no longer supported, such as Exchange 2010 and 2013, and around a quarter are running Exchange 2016 and 2019 but without vital patches - meaning at least 37 percent are classed as "vulnerable."

This afternoon, Mr. Seruga dropped a bombshell, and if true, it could blow up the whole Stormy Daniels affair with Trump lie that the mainstream media and Democrats have been clinging to since 2015.

Tony Seruga claims he used to share office space with the convicted felon and former attorney, Michael Avenatti, who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her case alleging that then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump paid her hush money to keep their alleged “affair” out of the public.

Seruga’s tweet begins: “I spoke with Michael Avenatti, who at one time had an office in the same building as one of my businesses in Newport Beach, CA (in November 2018, a few days after his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, Avenatti’s law firm was evicted from those same offices in Newport Beach after skipping $213,000 worth of rent payments.).”

The home of Oakland-born Victor Silva, Sr. is a frequent target of vandalism by thugs in the crime-ridden California city. Silva, who has lived and paid taxes in Oakland for over 80 years, was faced with threats of a $1,100 fine from the City of Oakland for the graffiti. The violation citation demanded that the paint was removed by Tuesday the 19th and that an additional fine would be added for each failed inspection in the future. Crime in Oakland has spiraled out of control in recent years, leading many businesses in the area to shut down for good.

In these days of worldwide confusion, there is a dire need for men and women who will courageously do battle for truth.”

In the current governmental climate, obeying one’s conscience and speaking truth to the power of the police state can easily render you an “enemy of the state.”

The government’s list of so-called “enemies of the state” is growing by the day.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is merely one of the most visible victims of the police state’s war on dissidents and whistleblowers.

Five years ago, on April 11, 2019, police arrested Assange for daring to access and disclose military documents that portray the U.S. government and its endless wars abroad as reckless, irresponsible, immoral and responsible for thousands of civilian deaths.

Included among the leaked materials was gunsight video footage from two U.S. AH-64 Apache helicopters engaged in a series of air-to-ground attacks while American air crew laughed at some of the casualties. Among the casualties were two Reuters correspondents who were gunned down after their cameras were mistaken for weapons and a driver who stopped to help one of the journalists. The driver’s two children, who happened to be in the van at the time it was fired upon by U.S. forces, suffered serious injuries.

There is nothing defensible about crimes such as these perpetrated by the government.

When any government becomes almost indistinguishable from the evil it claims to be fighting—whether that evil takes the form of war, terrorism, torture, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, murder, violence, theft, pornography, scientific experimentations or some other diabolical means of inflicting pain, suffering and servitude on humanity—that government has lost its claim to legitimacy.

These are hard words, but hard times require straight-talking.

'If they supply F-16s, and they are talking about this and are apparently training pilots, this will not change the situation on the battlefield,' Putin told Russian air force pilots during a tour of a training facility in Torzhok, in Russia's Tver region.

'We will destroy the aircraft just as we destroy today tanks, armoured vehicles and other equipment, including multiple rocket launchers.'

The Russian President also declared NATO had expanded eastwards towards Russia since the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union but reiterated that Moscow had no plans to attack a NATO state.

'We have no aggressive intentions towards these states,' Putin said, according to a Kremlin transcript released on Thursday.

'The idea that we will attack some other country - Poland, the Baltic States, and the Czechs are also being scared - is complete nonsense. It's just drivel.'

President Biden’s wave of new illegal immigrants is upending the usual demographics of immigration and sending the education levels plummeting, according to a new report Thursday that raised big questions about the country’s ability to absorb the newcomers.

There are now 13.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., and 51.4 million immigrants overall — an increase of 6.4 million in three years since Mr. Biden took office, the Center for Immigration Studies reported. That averages 172,000 new immigrants each month, or roughly four times the rate in the Trump years and nearly three times the rate in the Obama years.

Most of the new arrivals are from Latin America and 3.7 million of the net new arrivals came illegally. Some 44% have no education beyond high school, and a significant number didn’t even complete high school.

“Education is the single best predictor of how you’re going to do in the United States. What kind of job you’re going to do. How much you’re going to make. What fraction are going to be in or near poverty. What fraction are going to qualify for welfare programs — particularly their children,” said Steven A. Camarota, the study’s lead author.

The Impact Of Terrorism Around The World

According to the Global Terrorism Index 2024, a report by the Institute for Economics and Peace measuring the impact of terrorism around the world, deaths from terrorism rose to 8,352 globally in 2023, marking a 22 percent increase from the previous year.

However, as Statista's Felix Richter notes, that increase came despite a 23 percent drop in terrorist attacks, with fell to 3,350 in 2023. At the same time, terrorism has become more concentrated, as the number of countries recording at least one death from terrorism fell to 41 in 2023, down from 57 in 2015, when deaths from terrorism peaked. Last year, 10 countries accounted for 87 percent of global deaths from terrorism, with Burkina Faso, Israel and Mali alone accounting for more than 45 percent of fatalities.

This infographic, based on the 'Global Terrorism Index 2024', provides an overview of how much different countries and regions have been affected by terrorism over the past five years.

Infographic: The Impact of Terrorism Around the World | Statista

The Institute for Economics and Peace takes four indicators into account: the number of terrorist attacks as well as the number of fatalities, injuries and hostages taken in such attacks. It looks at a five-year period, whereby recent incidents are weighted more strongly than those further in the past.

Interestingly, the 2024 index marks the first time in the report's 13-year history that neither Afghanistan nor Iraq have been top of the list.

Instead, Burkina Faso is now the country most severely impacted by terrorism, which is indicative of a broader trend, which saw the epicenter of terrorism shift from the Middle East into Sub-Saharan Africa, with Mali, Niger and Nigeria also high on the list

Claire's Observations:  In looking for an answer, as to what these regions hold in common, I found the following, from

https://oxfam.dk/documents/artikler/natural-resource-watch-july-2015-subsahara.pdf,

published about 10 years ago, which states:   "The economic growth in many Sub-Saharan African countries has
to a large extent been driven by the extraction and export of non-renewable natural resources exploitable natural resources remain underground, most of them still undiscovered. According to recent estimates, Sub-Saharan Africa contains 30% of the world’s minerals6, and more than 20% of the world’s undiscovered crude oil – which is more than the Middle East and North Africa put together"

There you have it; it's about control of resources, and who, and what, has that control.

Imagine how the western political-media class would be acting if Russia or China was bombing and starving a walled-in population of two million, half of them children. Seriously, imagine it. Imagine the rage and vitriol. Imagine the nonstop media coverage.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, US media coverage of that war exceeded the media coverage of all US wars in the previous three decades. If Russia were deliberately and systematically exterminating civilians in Ukraine or anywhere else, the western media coverage of those war crimes would be many times more.

It’s almost cliché at this point to say “imagine if Russia or China did this”, but such comparisons are important for retaining a sense of perspective on just how evil the western political-media class is being about Gaza right now. We’re seeing articles come out in the mass media about starvation in Gaza which never once even mention the word “Israel”. Do you think that would be happening if this were being perpetrated by a government which defies the western empire? Of course not.

These Are The Sectors Most-Targeted By Cybercrime

The Cold War fought via clandestine operations with boots on the ground and proxy conflicts between parties backed by the U.S., China or Russia might be a thing of the past, but the times of bloc-based warfare are far from over.

Now, as Statista's Flrian Zandt reports, a majority of the theaters of war have become digital, with state-sponsored or -affiliated groups conducting cyber warfare against targets in various sectors.

Infographic: The Sectors Most Targeted By Cybercrime | Statista

According to a recent Reuters report, United States and United Kingdom officials imposed sanctions against the hacking group Advanced Persistent Threat 31 and indicted seven of its members on Monday, citing a "decade-plus spying spree [compromising] defense contractors, dissidents and a variety of U.S. companies, including American steel, energy, and apparel firms."

The group is allegedly linked to the Chinese government, which refuted the claims made by U.S. and U.K. authorities. Apart from China, such allegations are mostly aimed at Russian and North Korean groups, many of the latter of which have also been connected to crypto heists reportedly funding the nation's nuclear program.

As data from the open-access database of the European Repository of Cyber Incidents shows, the sector most targeted by malevolent actors, according to reports by either victims, attackers, authorities, security companies, media or third parties is critical infrastructure. In 2023 alone, 500 incidents involving industries like energy, telecommunications, transport or health were entered into the database, followed by attacks on state institutions or political systems (376) and corporate targets (113).

Overall, the EuRepoC recorded 895 cyber operations in 2023, with many of said operations involving more than one incident. As of March 26, 171 cyberoperations reported in 2024 are found in EuRepoC's database, with 89 incidents connected to critical infrastructure and 82 to state institutions or political systems, including on ministries, civil services or the police

We've been pointing it out for so long - in fact, for most of our 15 years in existence - that it has become more of a chore than actual reporting, especially since the "number only go up", as it hits a new all time high virtually every day. We are talking, of course, about the exponential curve that is the US debt, arguably one of the most boring and at the same time, most exciting topics of all time (because one day the "number go up no more" and you want to be far, far away when that happens).

Perhaps the catchiest observation we made on the trajectory of US debt was last September when we first noted that it is rising by $1 trillion every three months, or every 100 or so days...

How the Fed is Juicing Stocks to Help the Biden Administration

Phoenix Capital Research's Photo
by Phoenix Capital Research
Wednesday, Mar 27, 2024 - 8:48

Yesterday, I detailed how the Fed is a political entity… and it leans left.

By quick way of review…

1) The Bernanke-led Fed launched QE 3 just three months before the 2012 Presidential election. At the time, the economy was growing, unemployment was falling, and there were no signs of systemic duress in the financial system. So this was a clear intervention to aid the Obama Administration’s 2012 re-election bid.

2) The Fed kept rates at zero for seven of the eight years President Obama was in office.  Once it finally got around to raising rates, it engaged in one of the feeblest hiking schedules in history, raising them only once in 2015

and once in 2016.

3) Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election in a major upset to the political establishment. At that point the Fed suddenly began raising rates three to four times per year while simultaneously draining $500 billion in liquidity from the financial system.

It is possible that the above items are all coincidence. It’s also possible that Bigfoot could actually be Elvis living in disguise in the woods.

So what is the Fed up to now?

It’s trying to help President Biden win the 2024 Presidential election by juicing the two asset classes that have the largest impact on Americans’ net worth (stocks and housing ).

Today we’ll be assessing the stock market.

The Fed is supposed to be draining liquidity from the financial system via its Quantitive Tightening (QT) program. However, the Fed is ALSO providing $155 BILLION in liquidity via its overnight credit facilities. To put that into perspective, it’s more liquidity than the Fed was providing via this facility in MARCH 2009 right after the worst financial crisis in 80 years!

As if that’s not egregious enough, the Fed is ALSO providing nearly $500 billion in liquidity via a process called Reverse Repurchase Agreements.

Small wonder then that the stock market has been roaring higher. The Fed is providing EMERGENCY levels of liquidity to the financial system at a time when the economy is growing! So much for QT!

In the very simplest of terms, the Fed is juicing stocks higher to boost the Biden Administration’s 2024 re-election bid.

The BW 3 Process likely involves some combination of the following 2 scenarios:

Scenario 1: The decision to monetize gold on a global basis has already been made.

Every nation that’s in a position to, and every institution with a stake in the future of finance is setting the table for a big coming out party for some sort of official announcement. (pics)

They’re all doing it in different ways suitable to their culture, regulatory environment or business model. But everyone’s doing it. (pics)

The announcement will come after everyone’s in place. And it will probably rock the world if not the price of gold.

The second scenario is less exciting but equally possible:

The brics have an announcement of some sort coming out, and when that announcement comes out, it creates a whole new market for financial companies to participate in.

Banks are creating “new product” to accommodate new demand in the reopened market. (pics)

To the extent the west does not join in this , they will be missing out on a “new product“ to sell its own customers.

Major western banks have already joined this. Their governments will follow passively if not publicly.

(HSBC left comex recently while JPM increased its footprint in GLD while it drains. Don’t be surprised if JPM has a product soon too)

In this scenario, there is no “big announcement” that the west joins. Merely a quiet adoption of the new rules and serial releases of new products to accommodate growing unlocked demand.

Some variation of the 2 above scenarios is happening.

To continue:

Governance and application will be along ideological and cultural business lines for each region.

The playbook for gold in the west will be similar to the playbook for bitcoin becoming a spot ETF here.

(They had to get btc under control before this global gold thing started)

That is: make sure the public does not view it as a monetary replacement for the dollar. Do not label Gold or silver as money. Market them as a TiPS alternative, or tie them to TiPs bonds somehow.

Then they can encourage demand as long as they can control most of the flows into it as an asset class with qualities that hedge the dollar.

(products like Gold bonds, tokens, etc etc )

That’s what’s happening to gold in the western public. Consistent with the ideology (Keynesian fiat overall) and business practices. Gold-flows out of the country will be inhibited/controlled by products created by banks.

Subaru has now recalled approximately 118,723 vehicles over a sensor issue that may cause a short circuit, preventing the front passenger airbag from deploying in a car crash.

According to the Subaru recall, which was sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), an airbag malfunction can increase the chance of a passenger suffering severe injuries or death during an accident.

The recall includes 2020–2022 Outback and legacy models. However, no injuries have been reported yet related to the reported airbag issue.

The affected models have a sensor that detects when someone is sitting in the passenger seat, which is connected to the vehicle’s Occupant Detection System (ODS).

Six people are missing and presumed dead after a 984-foot cargo ship hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, causing the bridge’s collapse early Tuesday morning. All six have been identified as immigrant construction workers originally hailing from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Maryland Governor Wes Moore said the crew on the ship was able to issue an emergency mayday call before colliding with the bridge, which allowed authorities to stop incoming traffic and prevent more casualties. However, reports say the workers already on the bridge were not given similar warnings. “The question we should be asking about is why the folks on that bridge … had no direct line to emergency dispatch when they are clearly working in a potentially hazardous environment,” says journalist Maximillian Alvarez, the editor-in-chief of the Baltimore-based organization The Real News Network, who has been closely following the story and how it has affected immigrant and working-class communities.
