An Israeli airstrike on a tent city full of displaced Palestinians on Sunday decapitated a small child and killed dozens of civilians.

From AP, "Palestinian medics say Israeli airstrikes kill 35 in Gaza's Rafah as displaced people are hit":

Palestinian health workers said Israeli airstrikes killed at least 35 people Sunday and hit tents for displaced people in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, and "numerous" others were trapped in flaming debris. Gaza's Health Ministry said women and children made up most of the dead and dozens of wounded.

The attacks came two days after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to end its military offensive in Rafah, where more than half of Gaza's 2.3 million population had sought shelter before Israel's incursion earlier this month.

Whereas Israel lied about Hamas "beheading 40 babies" in one small kibbutz on October 7th, there's horrifically graphic video showing Israel decapitated a Palestinian child being shared all over social media (WARNING: GRAPHIC).

A Vladimir Putin ally has warned America and Poland that using weapons against Russian targets could result in a world war.

There have been rising tensions between Russia and NATO member Poland since Moscow invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Earlier this month, Andrzej Szejna, Poland’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, said that his country could be left exposed to Russian attacks after Warsaw said it could host NATO nuclear weapons on its territory.

Earlier this week, it was reported by Ukrainian news outlet Ukrinform that Poland was weighing the decision of downing Russian missiles. Warsaw has said Russian missiles fired at western Ukraine have entered its airspace numerous times, but Moscow has said this was accidental.

A group of several dozen migrants joined liberal Democrat politicians in New York City on Thursday to protest for even more government benefits for “newcomers.”

The New York Immigration Coalition joined a group of elected Democrat officials on the steps of City Hall to demand more money from the city budget to be dedicated to migrants, according to Caribbean Life.

The activists demanded an array of higher spending, including an additional $109 million for free legal services for immigrants, $5 million for language services, $25 million in support for two city programs for illegal aliens, and an end to policies that evict migrants from shelters after a prescribed time.

Council Member Alexa Avilés, for one, demanded that New York Mayor Eric Adams increase spending for migrants, and added, “Our priorities remain crystal clear: legal services, transfer schools, language justice and more.”

Each new B-21 Raider has a cost of roughly $700m, according to the latest estimates. That is up from the initial cost of $500m per plane in 2010.

The Air Force contract with Northrop Group calls for at least 100 new bombers.

B-21 Raiders are named in honor of the Doolittle Rangers, a group of Air Force pilots known for their surprise attack against Japan on April 18, 1942. The blitz forced Japan to recall combat forces for home defense – and it boosted morale among Americans.

“We are witnessing a great endangerment of academic freedom – and this has started since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza,” says Cecilia, an undergraduate student at Berlin’s Free University.

After her university published what she saw as a one-sided statement of support for Israel following the Hamas attacks of October 7, and students on campus began to experience an increase in Islamophobic harassment on campus, she and others formed a committee to show solidarity with Palestine and oppose Israel’s war in Gaza.

“…[I]n its relation to strategy, logistics assumes the character of a dynamic force, without which the strategic conception is simply a paper plan.”1

The Russia-Ukraine war has put combat logistics in the spotlight. Much like Germany’s attacks on England did in 1939-1941, Russia’s aggression today can serve as advanced warning about what will be required to sustain high-end conflict in the future. U.S. and allied military leaders must avail themselves of the lessons being taught and take prompt and effective measures to be ready when the next great power war comes.

During its 30 years as the world’s sole superpower, the United States’ force structure, doctrine, industrial base, and logistics have been skewed to support peacetime power projection in relatively benign environments.2

Recent research has illuminated the issues surrounding logistical support for a high-end fight more than 5,000 miles from the continental United States. In their 2019 study, Timothy Walton and his colleagues explored all aspects of logistics for a western Pacific fight, recommending a balanced and much larger logistics force than the U.S. Navy currently operates or is planning.3 While the most recent shipbuilding and force structure plans do not incorporate the study’s recommendations in quantity, the Navy appears to be using it as a benchmark.4

Food bound for Gaza rots in the sun as Egypt’s Rafah crossing stays shut
The flow of relief has often been slowed by Israeli inspections and military activity inside Gaza. (File/AFP)

AL-ARISH, Egypt: Some of the food supplies waiting to enter the Gaza Strip from Egypt have begun to rot as the Rafah border crossing remains shut to aid deliveries for a third week and people inside the Palestinian enclave face worsening hunger.
Rafah was a main entry point for humanitarian relief as well as some commercial supplies before Israel stepped up its military offensive on the Gazan side of the border on May 6 and took control of the crossing from the Palestinian side.
Egyptian officials and sources say humanitarian operations are at risk from military activity and that Israel needs to hand the crossing back to Palestinians before it starts operating again.

Israel and the United States have called on Egypt, which is also worried about the risk of Palestinians being displaced from Gaza, to allow the border to reopen.

Meanwhile the backlog of aid on the road between the Egyptian side of the crossing and the town of Al-Arish, about 45 km (28 miles) west of Rafah and an arrival point for international aid donations, has been building up.
One truck driver, Mahmoud Hussein, said his goods had been loaded on his vehicle for a month, gradually spoiling in the sun. Some of the foodstuffs are being discarded, others sold of cheap.

“Apples, bananas, chicken and cheese, a lot of things have gone rotten, some stuff has been returned and is being sold for a quarter of its price,” he said, crouching under his truck for shade.

“I’m sorry to say that the onions we’re carrying will at best be eaten by animals because of the worms in them.”
Aid deliveries for Gaza through Rafah began in late October, two weeks after the start of the war between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas.

The flow of relief has often been slowed by Israeli inspections and military activity inside Gaza and the amount reaching the enclave’s 2.3 million residents has been far below needs, aid officials say.
A global hunger monitor has warned of imminent famine in parts of Gaza.

Since May 5, no trucks have crossed through Rafah and very few through the nearby Israeli crossing of Kerem Shalom, according to UN data.
The amount of aid waiting in Egypt’s northern Sinai was now very large, and some had been stuck for more than two months, said Khaled Zayed, head of the Egyptian Red Crescent in the area.

“Some aid packages require a certain temperature ... We coordinate on this with specialists who are highly trained in the storage of food and medical supplies,” he said.

“We hope the border will reopen as soon as possible.”

KSrelief, a Saudi-funded charity, has more than 350 trucks carrying items including food and medical supplies waiting to pass through Rafah, but has had to offload flour because of the risk of it rotting, the group’s supervisor general Abdullah Al Rabeeah said.

“We pack and send but also we have to recheck. It is a big burden,” he told Reuters.
Some food has been sold at cut price on the local market in northern Sinai, leading to the confiscation of stocks of rotten eggs, said local officials from Egypt’s ministry of supply.

Inside Gaza, there have also been scares about the quality of delayed food deliveries that made it in before Rafah closed, or through other crossings.

Palestinian medical and police officials that used to check goods coming into Gaza had been unable to do so during Israel’s offensive, said Ismail Al-Thawabta, director of the Hamas-run Gaza government media office.

“There is a big problem as many of the goods that enter the Gaza Strip are unfit for human use and are unhealthy,” he said.
“Therefore, the health ministry issued the warning statement to raise public awareness that people should examine the goods before eating them or sharing them with their families.” (Reporting by Reuters Cairo bureau, Nidal Al-Mughrabi and Emma Farge

Claire's Observations:  So, the choice for Palestinians is, eat rotten food and die from opportunistic illnesses which result from eating rotten food, or starve to death, per the Decree of the Israeli Government. And I  would politely like to remind that government (or what passes for one in Tel Aviv) , that collective punishment is a war crime!!!!!

Joe Biden’s America.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, 118 Chinese illegal aliens crossed the border in the San Diego sector on Saturday per CBP. There have been over 30,000 Chinese illegals that have entered the San Diego sector since October 1st. This is not surprising, considering Texas has cracked down on illegals at the border.

In addition to that, since October 1st, there have also been illegals from numerous other countries that are invading the US through the San Diego sector. Over 8,900 from India, 7,800 from Turkey, and others from Uzbekistan, Mauritania, Vietnam and Guinea.

There has been an 8,600 percent increase in Chinese illegals crossing the border since fiscal year 2021. At that time the record shows a total of just over 340 Chinese illegals crossing the border. That statistic is for the entire Southern border compared to the 30,000 since October 1st in San Diego alone! The massive increase in numbers shows this is intentional while the Federal government fails to secure the border. On top of that, California Governor Gavin Newsom has offered free healthcare to illegals.

Webmaster addition: The illegals are treated better than US citizens!

The United States was growing desperate, months before its entry into the Second World War. It was gravely short of aluminum, and scrambling for suppliers.

Its solution: turn north to Canada.

American public money flooded into Quebec, building the aluminum industry that supplied raw materials for Allied planes and tanks.

"I would be willing to buy aluminum from anybody," said Harry Truman, then still a U.S. senator, in 1941 hearings on the topic.

"I don't care whether it is the Aluminum Company of America or Reynolds or Al Capone."

Now, in an era of global tension, the Americans are looking north again.

The U.S. military has, for the first time in generations, spent public money on minerals projects inside Canada: nearly $15 million US to mine and process copper, gold, graphite and cobalt in Quebec and the Northwest Territories.

The game currently has a 3.7 star rating among users, with 47 reviewers giving it the highest rating, 5 stars, and 22 giving it a 1 star.

Commenters on the page both praised and condemned the game, with one writing, “Spineless disgusting filth trying to profit from genocide of Palastinians (sic) Trying to profit from the sufferings of others. Scumbag of the worst kind. Would you be doing the same if a member of your family was murdered? Utterly vile filth of a game from a sick twisted individual.”

According to the Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding Hate Speech: ” We don’t allow content advocating against groups of people based on their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity.”

There is no indication whether Google Play would consider the game “hate speech.”

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has received a lot of flak for her book anecdote about killing her dog. She has also been banned from almost all the Indian reservations in the state.

The latter for rightly stating that Mexican drug cartels are operating on these reservations.

And while killing her dog may have been wrong (bragging about it in her book certainly was), she isn't wrong about the cartels.

But they are operating far beyond South Dakota. A chilling new report from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the 2024 National Drug Threat Assessment paints a grim picture of how the deadly Mexican cartels are operating across our entire country. And no state is immune from this scourge.

Extremist settler groups are setting upon food trucks passing through the West Bank, assaulting the drivers and burning their cargo.

Video has emerged in recent weeks of Israeli West Bank settlers attacking and destroying aid trucks headed for the besieged Gaza Strip, reportedly with the acquiescence and even active participation of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and police.

A series of such instances was documented in a report by the Washington Post Sunday that described how extremist Israelis work together to plan the assaults with the help of security forces.

“The settler groups use a web of publicly accessible WhatsApp groups to track the trucks and coordinate attacks,” the newspaper reported. ”Groups of settler youth are tailing relief convoys, setting up checkpoints and interrogating drivers. In some cases, far-right attackers have ransacked and burned trucks and beaten Palestinian drivers, leaving at least two hospitalized.”

Severe fuel shortages have caused power outages at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, with hospital officials warning that many sick and wounded patients face certain death if supplies needed to run medical equipment and generators are not replenished.

Early on Friday, the hospital in Deir el-Balah received 15,000 litres (4,000 gallons) of fuel but that will only last a few more days, Al Jazeera’s reporters in Gaza said. Overnight, the shortage forced medical workers to work in an almost pitch-dark environment, with doctors using the light from their mobile phones while tending to premature babies.

“We have hundreds of patients including the injured and those that are diagnosed with kidney failure and need electricity for their dialysis treatment,” Riyadh al-Jabri, Al-Aqsa’s medical director, said in a statement on Friday.

“All the patients will be condemned to death. Especially those in the ICU, the incubators and those relying on dialysis treatment,” he added.

The hospital requires more than 4,000 litres (1,000 gallons) of fuel each day to continue operations and care for patients. Al-Jabri said any help they can offer patients “will stop completely” without any fuel.

“We are calling on international organisations to send 50,000 litres [13,200 gallons] of fuel before there is an imminent crisis here,” he added.

Israel’s months-long siege of Gaza has either destroyed or left most hospitals out of service. Those that have remained open, including Al-Aqsa, are barely functioning with supplies of medicine and fuel almost running out amid an overflow of patients.

Israel’s destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system, as well as its denial of treatment for Palestinian patients, are considered war crimes according to legal experts and human rights groups.

The EU is facing a record number of “external and internal enemies,” who pose an existential threat to the bloc, French President Emmanuel Macron has said, doubling down on a warning he’d given earlier, that “our Europe” could end up dying.

Macron made the remarks while speaking alongside Germany’s head of state, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on the first of his three-day state visit. The two attended the Festival of Democracy, held in Berlin’s government quarter, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the country’s constitution.

“I think that we are experiencing a moment in our Europe which is existential because I really believe that our Europe can die,” Macron stated, referring to a keynote speech he’d delivered in April.

Keir Starmer's record of lies and going back on policy announcements is already defining the General Election for Labour.

Right, so if anything is going to come to define Labour's campaign for this General Election, Victoria Derbyshire's interview with Starmerroid Shadow Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds demonstrated exactly what that was, and the big thing the media now clearly as well as other parties will fixate on is Starmer's non-existent relationship with the truth. Starmer has such a massive litany of lies to his name now, that every one of them, as many of us on the left knew they would eventually, are going to catch up with him and be used against him and pointed out that if he has lied so often about so much ,that he is inherently so dishonest, how can you believe anything he promises now in his bid to win power? And as Reynolds showed and Victoria Derbyshire exposed, Labour cannot answer this.

A series of Israeli airstrikes and drone attacks on southern Lebanon included hits on three motorbikes in different border towns and villages on Sunday. Altogether, at least eight people were killed and a number of civilian bystanders wounded.

The first motorbike strike took place in the border town of Naqoura, and Hezbollah confirmed the strike killed one of its members. The victim was not identified, and the strike took place near UN interim forces. Several apparent civilians were wounded.

The second motorbike strike hit the border village of Ayta ash-Shaab, killing two civilians and wounding several others. One of the civilians was identified as Hussein Saleh, a mechanic with no political affiliation who was said to travel to border areas to feed the pets of displaced people who had been forced to leave them behind. Israel claimed it was after Hezbollah targets, but none of those killed seem to have been fighters.

The final motorbike strike was in the border village of Houla, once again targeting a motorbike. Three people were killed and two others were wounded. At present the casualties are unidentified.

Most recently a strike was reported in Yaroun, which killed two additional people, bringing the total to eight. Hezbollah issued a statement that said that four of its fighters were among those slain.

Israel also bombed the outskirts of the towns of Shihin and Majdal Zoun. They further fired artillery shells against Wadi Hamul and Wadi Hassan.

Hezbollah responded by firing rockets at the al-Abbad outpost in northern Israel and other sites. Officials estimated 15 rockets were fired by Hezbollah, and so far, no casualties were reported. Hezbollah made clear they fired as retaliation for the killing in Naqoura and the injury of civilians

The US is conducting war games near the South China Sea as US lawmakers visit Taiwan, undermining the United States’ long-held official commitment to a one-China policy.

The United States is conducting military drills with its allies near the South China Sea as a congressional delegation visits Taiwan in America’s latest attempt to undermine its official one-China policy.

“Marines from the US and the Philippines have been carrying out ominous war games on small islands a short distance from Taiwan,” according to British media, citing reporting by the Wall Street Journal from correspondents embedded with a US military regiment.

Stoltenberg Joins Calls for NATO Weapons To Be Used on Russian Territory

Blinken is reportedly pushing for Biden to lift the restriction by Dave DeCamp May 26, 2024 at 12:29 pm ET Categories NewsTags NATO, Russia, Ukraine

On Friday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg joined calls for Ukraine to be able to use NATO-provided weapons to strike Russian territory, a step that would mark a major escalation in the proxy war.

“The time has come for allies to consider whether they should lift some of the restrictions they have put on the use of weapons they have donated to Ukraine,” Stoltenberg told The Economist.

“Especially now when a lot of the fighting is going on in Kharkiv, close to the border, to deny Ukraine the possibility of using these weapons against legitimate military targets on Russian territory makes it very hard for them to defend themselves,” he added.

Russia’s offensive in Kharkiv has prompted calls from many members of Congress, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), for President Biden to allow Ukraine to use US-provided missiles in strikes on Russian territory. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is reportedly leading the charge within the administration to get the restriction lifted.

Russia has made clear that it could have a major response to NATO missiles hitting its territory. After UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron said Ukraine could use British missiles on Russian territory, Russia warned the UK that it could strike British military sites in Ukraine and “beyond” in response.

Ukraine has been using US and other Western-provided missiles to target Crimea, which has been controlled by Russia since 2014. But Russia appears to be drawing a red line when it comes to attacks on territory inside the Russian mainland.

The official, who currently serves as Deputy Chair of Russia’s Security Council, made the remarks after Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski claimed Washington had threatened to conduct such a strike should Russia use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Medvedev suggested that Sikorski “apparently, has decided to scare his masters.” He noted that Washington, unlike Warsaw, has so far refrained from making any such threats publicly “because they are more cautious” than the Poles.

An Israeli military officer involved in the indirect hostage deal negotiations with Hamas has expressed frustration with the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a report from Israel’s Channel 12.

The report said that Maj. Gen. Nitzan Alon told Israeli military officials that Israel wouldn’t reach a deal with Hamas under the current government. “We are desperate. With this government formation, there will be no deal,” he said.

Alon also explained that it would be possible to restart military operations in Gaza even if Israel agreed to a deal that would include a commitment to a permanent ceasefire, which has been Hamas’s main demand. Netanyahu has repeatedly rejected the idea and continues to vow he will “eradicate” Hamas, a goal the US believes is unrealistic.

“The deal I’m pushing for would provide for the return of all the hostages, while Hamas insists that it must provide for an end to the war,” Alson said. “I told the prime minister that it will be possible to return to fighting at any given moment.”

In response to the report, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) insisted Alon was taken out of context. “Gen. Alon was asked a question by the public about the effect the political leadership has on the talks, and he answered that as one in uniform, he cannot answer such questions,” said IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari.

Netanyahu’s office released a statement criticizing Alon’s comments. “The clashes from within the negotiating team only strengthen Hamas’s position, harm the families, and distance the release of our hostages,” the office said.
