The European Commission has announced on Wednesday that a new program to aid civil society, students, scientists and professionals in Belarus worth 25 million euros was endorsed.

The statement released by the European Commission explains the objectives covered by the allocated funds.

Firstly, funds are provided to "civil society activists to promote democratic changes and human rights in Belarus." The European Union believes that thanks to this aid, they would be "able to continue their work despite the very difficult context on the ground."

Additionally, financial aid is provided to students and professionals "in accessing modern quality education, training and learning opportunities, including through a scholarship program and by facilitating contacts between Belarusian and EU-based professionals and organizations."

- It is currently impossible to completely restore Ukraine's energy system to what it was before the crisis, Ukrainian media quoted President Vladimir Zelensky as saying in a video address on Wednesday.

"I've held a meeting on the stabilization of the energy system and the protection of our power plants. We are constantly increasing the generation and supply of electricity - we are adding more volume every day. But we should not forget that it is now impossible to restore 100% of the energy system as it was before," Zelensky said.

Consequently, scheduled blackouts are continuing in the majority of cities and districts, he said.

"As of this evening, the largest number of blackouts is in Kiev and the Kiev, Lvov, Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky, Poltava, Vinnitsa, and Transcarpathia regions," the president said.

Meanwhile, Ukrenergo grid operator CEO Vladimir Kudritsky said that Ukraine's power grid is still working despite taking major damage.

The ringleader of a US-supported opposition group, Maryam Rajavi, has admitted to organizing the recent riots in Iran, the Tasnim news agency reported on Thursday, citing the information posted on Rajavi’s official website.

"This movement [riots] was well-organized by the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) with the use of rebel centers," Tasnim quoted Rajavi, who heads MKO, as saying. "[We consider] the National Council of Resistance of Iran [established by us] as an alternative to the current regime," she said.

This remark by Rajavi was deleted from her website several hours later.

Earlier, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported that Rajavi, who used to call herself "president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran," announced "a presidential bid for the transition period" on social media. Rajavi and her husband, Massoud, are responsible for the death of 17,000 innocent Iranians, the news agency said.

Hundreds of workers at Shelter, a British housing and homeless charity, have launched industrial action, joining thousands of striking employees in various economic sectors across the country.

More than 600 workers at the charity started their protest action on Monday, in what their union, Unite, described as "a bitter dispute over pay."

Staging the strike, the Shelter's staffers said the combination of insufficient payment and soaring inflation has prompted them to start worrying about their own housing security.

Unite said Shelter's management has imposed a three-percent salary rise, which it claimed "has left many of its own staff being unable to pay their rent" and haunted with the possibility of being made homeless.

The new package of sanctions against Russia may include a clause on the blocking of four Russian TV channels. Such a measure of influence on the Kremlin is proposed in the official statement of the European Commission (EC), made on behalf of its head Ursula von der Leyen.

"We will strike at the Russian propaganda machine by additionally disconnecting four channels and all other platforms for distributing content from the air," the European Commission said in a statement.

At the same time, von der Leyen did not specify which Russian TV channels she was referring to. The measures announced may be in the next, ninth package of sanctions against Russia. According to the head of the EC, Europe is taking such measures because it supports Ukraine and wants to "make Russia pay for its cruelty."

In the same statement, the politician admitted that the new package of sanctions would ban Russia's access to unmanned aerial vehicles. This also applies to technologies obtained with the help of third countries.

UK PM Rishi Sunak has said that the British government "cannot solve" all the problems UK citizens are facing, as per a report from Sputnik news. Sunak, however, stated that he will be honest with UK citizens on the economic challenges that the country faces. The new UK PM's government is slated to introduce a budget on November 17th.

Rishi Sunak said that he was "confident" that the British people will consider his autumn budget fair and compassionate. The British state, due to Liz Truss' economic plans, has witnessed a decline in revenue. Sunak faces the challenge of navigating the economy without cutting public spending too much. Heavy cuts in public spending, especially cuts in the NHS' budget, will lead to backlash at the voting booth.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said Polish nationalists can’t wait to seize western Ukraine.

"As for the governments of some of our neighbors, Poland, nationalist elements there dream of taking back their so-called historical territories, seizing the western territories that Ukraine gained as a result of a decision by Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin following World War II," the president said at a meeting with the Human Rights Council.

He said "these territories were taken away from Poland and given to Soviet Ukraine."

House Republicans are requesting a sit-down meeting with President Biden to discuss the ongoing scourge of fentanyl overdoses after he traveled to Arizona earlier this week but declined to visit the southern border, telling reporters that there were “more important things going on.”

Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana, outgoing chairman of the Republican Study Committee, authored the letter obtained by RealClearPolitics. It wasn’t the first, however, that House Republicans have sent.

Multiple sources claim the January 6 committee investigating the Capitol riot plan to issue a criminal referral list with former President Donald Trump at the “center” of it.

The committee has indicated it intends to release a final report following a nearly 18-month “investigation” on December 21st.

The panel has suggested the report would focus predominantly on Trump, rather than the failures of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.

CNN reports that they intend to issue these criminal referrals with Trump at the “center” of it all.

“The House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack is weighing criminal referrals for former President Donald Trump and a number of his closest allies,” they write.

Up to 10 tankers carrying oil from Kazakhstan remain stranded in the Turkish straits of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles, the head of the KazMunayGas Kazakh oil and gas company, Magzum Mirzagaliev, said on Thursday.

“As of yesterday, there were 21 tankers there, including six tankers with oil from TCO [Kazakh oil producer]. In general, we estimate that about eight tankers related to Kazakhstan — from eight to 10 — are among those stranded,” Mirzagaliev told reporters.

Mirzagaliev cited the Kazakh Energy Ministry as saying on Wednesday that the delay in the passage of ships through the Turkish straits had already lasted six days at that point. He also recalled the 14-day bottleneck in the same waters last December.

As the security crisis and energy instability worsen in Europe, mainly in Germany, the unfeasibility of continuing the current European model of automatic alignment with American foreign policy becomes increasingly evident. American rivalry with Russia, passively embraced by European states, seriously violates EU’s interests and places the entire bloc under a serious threat.

Germany is the most economically important country for the EU and at the same time the most dependent on Russia. Without any energy sovereignty and dependent on the partnership with Moscow to supply its internal market, Berlin sought for decades to maintain pragmatic relations with Russia, capable of overcoming any political or ideological rivalries, aiming exclusively at the well-being of the German people and the local economy. But this stance has been completely abandoned.

During the early days of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, Germany was the first country to try to somehow resist American pressure for sanctions, at least as far as energy is concerned. But the Scholz government was absolutely unable to resist pressure from Washington and quickly “surrendered”, favoring the American anti-Russian strategy and harming German interests.

Obviously, without the energy to power its industry, the negative effects have already started to be seen in Germany, but the situation will only get worse as winter gets more severe in Europe. With high energy prices and no prospect of improvement in the short term, as well as under a strong crisis of legitimacy with constant mass protests, the country is truly immersed in a severe crisis which consequences spread beyond national borders, since, with the largest European economy weakened, the whole EU is affected.

A recent alleged death threat against pro-life activists indicates that Jane’s Revenge — the group that has claimed responsibility for several violent attacks against pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations throughout the nation — doesn’t just support the killing of unborn children but is willing to “shoot up” those working against their evil and dystopian dream.

On Saturday, Students for Life Action (SFLAction) members and other Nebraskan pro-life activists reported finding a death threat attributed to Jane’s Revenge posted to the door of the St. John Paul II Newman Center near the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Scott Campus. The pro-lifers were gathering at the facility that morning to attend a Political Leadership Workshop and brainstorm how they could utilize the pro-life organization’s “Campaign for Abortion Free Cities to shut down the late-term abortion facility in the state,” according to a Twitter post from SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins.

Webmaster addition: I guess the FBI is too busy investigating heterosexual white male domestic terrorists ... or something.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, and self-control. But the fruit of public libraries is faux diversity, drag queens, and rejection of the sexes — which is why the taxpayer-funded cesspools are “not interested” in giving Kirk Cameron a storytime slot to read his new children’s book on the fruit of the Spirit to kids.

The actor, writer, and producer “has not gotten a single ‘yes’ from the 50-plus public libraries his publisher has contacted so far,” Fox News reported in a Wednesday exclusive. According to Cameron’s publisher and Fox’s scouring of the libraries’ websites, “Many of the same libraries that won’t give Cameron a slot … are actively offering ‘drag queen’ story hours or similar programs for kids and young people.”

It’s not only drag queen story hours, where adult men derive pleasure from strapping on prosthetic breasts, painting theatrical contour all over their masculine faces, and sporting fishnet tights for an audience of children. These libraries reportedly host queer book clubs, a series called “Every Month Is Pride Month,” and so-called “get free help” events where attorneys and other volunteers help patrons fill out legal paperwork to change their names, record themselves as the opposite sex (or sexless entirely), and alter birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver’s licenses, IDs, and passports. But if you want to read to kids about gentleness, goodness, and kindness, it’s a hard no.

A confession by former German chancellor Angela Merkel regarding the true nature of the Minsk agreements – a roadmap for peace in Ukraine that was brokered by Berlin – could be used as evidence in a tribunal involving Western politicians responsible for provoking the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.

The former German leader admitted in an interview with Die Zeit on Wednesday that the actual purpose of the Minsk agreements was to give Ukraine time to prepare for a military confrontation with Russia.

“They talk a lot about legal assessments of what is happening around Ukraine, certain tribunals and so on in all sorts of ways,” Zakharova said during a media briefing on Thursday. “But this is a specific reason for a tribunal.”

She claimed that Merkel’s comments were nothing short of the testimony of a person who had openly admitted that everything done between 2014 and 2015 was meant to “distract the international community from real issues, play for time, pump up the Kiev regime with weapons, and escalate the issue into a large-scale conflict,” Zakharova added.

George Soros, a Hungarian-born billionaire whom some consider a real-life Bond villain, has undoubtedly been creative in making ordinary people’s lives miserable through several front groups.

According to Fox News, one of those front groups is aiming for the local service station and the gasoline most people put in their vehicles.

“Governing for Impact (GFI), a secretive George Soros-funded group that has advised the Biden administration, issued a memo to policymakers on how to curb gasoline usage.

“The GFI memo argues that the Clean Air Act provides the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the authority to control, or even prohibit, the commercial sale of any motor vehicle fuel. The memo, which was assembled with climate group Evergreen Collaborative, also argued the agency could force gas stations to build electric vehicle charging stations on their property.”

The idea that the federal government could prohibit the sale of gasoline or diesel fuel by fiat is mad. The GFI memo recognizes this fact in a roundabout fashion. “The groups conclude that the EPA could pursue a complete ban on gasoline under the Clean Air Act, but that they advised against it since the Supreme Court would likely strike it down “despite the clear text of the statute.’” The story does not quote the text the memo refers to if it exists.

It is said that when Elon Musk arrived at failing Twitter, he realized that he had paid $44 billion for a crime scene. He found “Stay Woke” t-shirts. And he found information that details Twitter essentially being an arm of the DNC and perhaps the Deep State. Twitter is not alone. Failing and underperforming “woke” American companies are rotten with woke-ism.
