I don’t know yet if this is a natural law but it seems to be a pretty workable rule of thumb: the more power over the citizenry is acquired by the State, the more miserable the citizenry becomes. There are two ways to view the role of government:
All governments are powered by the energy of the people. Where the former concept prevails, government has little value for the People and will ultimately starve of energy and decline and fail. The optimum form of government, so far as The People are concerned, is the latter: a government that serves the People and is motivated b duty to the People. Either option only prevails with the agreement or acceptance of the People. It is for us to decide and agree upon which one we want. Legitimate functions of a government designed and run for service to the people are:
US House Republicans want access to the visitor logs at President Biden’s private home in Delaware. The White House said there are no records of visitors. Meanwhile, the Republican congressman leading the investigation into Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents said President Biden’s personal attorneys were still sifting through documents after the Justice Department appointed a special counsel to look into the scandal.
As President Joe Biden is rumored to soon announce a 2024 bid for re-election, the developing investigation into several batches of classified documents found in his possession could cause turmoil for a potential campaign.
Last week, news broke of three sets of classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center and in two separate locations at the president's home in Wilmington, Delaware. On Saturday, White House Special Counsel Richard Sauber revealed that five additional pages of classified materials were found at Biden's home on Thursday when attorneys with security clearances went to the location.
Though many Democratic and Republican strategists believe the classified documents scandal won't play a major role in Biden's 2024 aspirations, some political insiders told Fox News Digital that it's still not an ideal situation for a president seeking re-election — particularly as it opens Biden up to GOP attacks.
San Francisco’s reparations committee has proposed paying each Black longtime resident $5 million and granting total debt forgiveness due to the decades of "systematic repression" faced by the local Black community.
The San Francisco African American Reparations Advisory Committee, which advises the city on developing a plan for reparations for Black residents, released its draft report last month to address reparations – not for slavery, since California was not technically a slave state, but "to address the public policies explicitly created to subjugate Black people in San Francisco by upholding and expanding the intent and legacy of chattel slavery."
"While neither San Francisco, nor California, formally adopted the institution of chattel slavery, the tenets of segregation, white supremacy and systematic repression and exclusion of Black people were codified through legal and extralegal actions, social codes, and judicial enforcement," the draft states.
“Women accounted for fewer than one in ten of the detections, while the share of reported minors fell slightly to around 9 percent of all detections.”
Approximately 330,000 illegal border crossings into the European Union (EU) were recorded in 2022, the highest figure since the migration crisis of 2016. According to the latest data from EU border agency Frontex, the number of illegal entries into the Union increased 64 percent from the previous year.
According to the Agency, 330,000 irregular entries were recorded in 2022. The number of Syrian nationals has practically doubled to 94,000. “This is the second consecutive year with a sharp increase in the number of irregular entries,” Frontex said in a statement, adding that Syrians, Afghans, and Tunisians together accounted for 47% of irregular entries in 2022.
Willful blindness. There is plenty of evidence that harm can indeed occur months later.
Danielle Stephanie Warriner sits alone in a Toronto hospital lobby, wearing little more than a pale blue medical gown. Moments later, she's wheeled away by guards, her slight frame slumped in a wheelchair, her legs dangling from the edge.
What happens in between isn't captured on video.
Instead, a security camera was purposely turned away as guards approached the 43-year-old, pushed her against a wall and restrained her on the ground before she lost consciousness — never to regain it.
Those scenes are part of the evidence that would have been heard at the trial of the guards charged in Warriner's death at Toronto General Hospital in May 2020.
Now, that won't happen. In a surprise move by an Ontario judge on Nov. 22, the case against the guards has been quashed and the trial that was supposed to begin this May struck from the docket.
For months, Warriner's family has waited for their day in court. Instead, they say they're now left blindsided.
"My first reaction was shock, horror," Warriner's sister, Denise, told CBC News. "There's been no accountability and there's a gaping hole in my heart."
"She was a very tiny woman who was clearly unwell, sitting, dealing with respiratory distress and they wrangled her to her death. There was no lawful reason for them to have ever put hands on her," she said she believes.
"This ought to have been put to a trial."
Democrats in Congress are trying to pass a bill that would expand the definition of hate crime to include discussion of “replacement theory”.
Yes, really.
The legislation, which is sponsored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), would criminalize speech that is found to have “inspired” a racially motivated crime.
The draconian law would effectively make an individual responsible for someone else’s crime if prosecutors were able to successfully argue that their political rhetoric was a motivating factor.
The Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023 includes a “conspiracy” charge that someone would be guilty of if they were found to have published “material advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on ‘replacement theory,’ or hate speech that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-white person or group” on social media.
Florida is threatening to suspend licenses for businesses failing to provide proof of E-Verify compliance, which ensures they are not employing illegal immigrants. It comes as part of its greater effort to protect Florida residents and their jobs as the nation faces a mass immigration crisis on the southern border.
The Department of Economic Opportunity sent letters to several businesses, flagging the various companies for “repeat non-responsiveness” to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).
“If you persist and fail to respond to the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), there will be significant consequences,” the letters reads, warning that the notice serves as the “final opportunity to respond before consequences are initiated.”
It adds that the DEP will “not grant any extensions” or excuses for nonresponses. The companies had one month from the date of the letter to provide an affidavit stating the company will comply with the law and terminate the employment of illegal aliens.
Failure to comply with the letter in the given time frame would result in a suspension of “all licenses” held by the company “specific to the business location where the unauthorized alien(s) performed work.” In cases where they do not have a license specific to the business location where the illegal alien worked, the licenses held by the company at its “primary place of business” will be suspended.
Twitter allowed America’s biggest pharmaceutical companies to spread misinformation that hurt their competitors, according to a new batch of the Twitter Files released by Lee Fang, a journalist for the Intercept.
In the latest batch of the Twitter Files, Fang explains how Twitter censorship was utilized by pharmaceutical giants as part of their broader strategy to ensure smaller competitors and companies focused on therapeutics could not damage their extremely profitable coronavirus vaccine business.
President Joe Biden used a speech honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday to stoke racial division, accusing car insurance companies of being racist for charging different rates based on location.
“If you live in one of those neighborhoods and you have the same exact car I have in the other neighborhood, you pay more for your insurance than that side,” Biden said sternly. “No basis for it! None at all other than you’re black, and I’m white.”
The president spoke about race at a breakfast to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, hosted by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.
He also accused housing values of being racist, vowing to tackle the racial disparities that exist in the real estate market.
Former President Donald Trump is embroiled in another Deep State frame-up job, this time over classified documents. Meanwhile, His Fraudulency Joe Biden is dealing with a legitimate classified document scandal.
Before we go any further, I find all this “classified document” handwringing silly. Speaking objectively outside the tit-for-tat of partisan politics, everyone knows America goes overboard with that big, red CLASSIFIED stamp. Hey, and who can blame us? Stamping something CLASSIFIED has to feel pretty cool. Reading something stamped CLASSIFIED must feel even cooler. So why not stamp, stamp, stamp your way to that warm and fuzzy feeling of self-importance?
Plus, by stamping everything CLASSIFIED, the Deep State can frame people for invented crimes, embarrass them politically, and meddle in elections. And we all know how much the FBI, NSA, CIA, and Homeland Security love to frame people to protect the Democrat party.
Here’s my view of what’s happening to Trump: From what we know, the classified documents in his possession were secured in a single place — within his residence at Mar-a-Lago, which is guarded by Secret Service. Additionally, and again from what we know, the National Archives had an inventory of these documents, knew what Trump had, and negotiated their return.
Finally, as president, Trump had the power to declassify anything for any reason at any time.
President Joe Biden has reportedly spent 163 days of his presidency at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, where the Secret Service claimed Sunday no visitor logs exist.
Critics have raised questions about who might have visited Biden’s residence after his attorneys found classified documents stashed in the home’s garage.
In total, Biden has spent 163 days over the course of 49 trips to his Wilmington residence, according to the Republican National Committee’s “Big Guy tracker.” It is unknown how many days Biden spent at the home after leaving the White House in 2017 and before assuming the Oval Office in 2021.
The considerable amount of time Biden has spent at the home raises questions about who might have had access to the classified documents.
On Thursday, Biden’s personal attorneys found five more classified documents stashed at Biden’s home. The White House has refused to explain why Biden’s attorneys initially searched Biden’s residence and the Biden Penn Center for classified documents.
The White House and Secret Service on Monday claimed no visitor logs exist from President Joe Biden’s Delaware residence, where multiple classified documents were unearthed by the president’s personal attorneys.
The statements were in response to House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer’s (R-KY) request for disclosure of the logs Sunday.
“Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log,” Comer wrote to the White House. “It is troubling that classified documents have been improperly stored at the home of President Biden for at least six years, raising questions about who may have reviewed or had access to classified information.”
Republicans are concerned Biden’s mishandling of classified documents presents the likelihood that classified materials could have landed in the hands of America’s adversaries. Between the classified documents retrieved from the Biden Penn Center and the documents retrieved from Biden’s residence in Delaware on Thursday, the total number of classified documents Biden stashed is now about 25 — some of which are top secret.
Hunter Biden recorded monthly rent payments of $49,910 while living at President Joe Biden’s residence, according to a document unearthed by New York Post’s Miranda Devine.
On a document titled “background screening request,” it appears Hunter paid $49,910 in monthly rent for one year while living at Joe Biden’s Delaware residence, where the president kept classified documents alongside his Corvette in the garage.
Hunter listed his rental tenancy from March 2017 to February 2018, the document shows. The document is signed July 2018.
In 2017, Joe Biden left the White House and stored a large number of classified documents inside his Delaware garage and at two other locations. The first batch of documents found are alleged to contain information pertaining to Ukraine and Iran, CNN reported.
The document also shows that Hunter checked a box on the form claiming to own Joe Biden’s home. It is unknown why Hunter would have paid rent if he owned the home.
It should be noted Joe Biden’s 2017 tax return on Schedule E only listed $19,800 in “rents received.” In 2018, Biden listed no rents received.
A Georgia woman has been charged with murder for allegedly killing an elderly married couple at a Florida senior living community on New Year’s Eve.
Vickie Williams, 50, appeared in court remotely Saturday and was ordered held in the Lake County Jail without bond for the killings of Darryl Getman, 83, and his 80-year-old wife, Shannon Getman, in the Watertown Village retirement community in Mount Dora, reported the station KBTX.
You can try to run, but you can’t hide – it’s everywhere, lurking in the dark at times; other times, it’s center stage, sucking the life and fun out of everything around it. What manner of beast am I referring to? The Woke.
Woke has crept into every facet of our civilization like a foreboding mist or fog that blurs our vision only to inevitably blind us and lead us off a cliff into oblivion. So you might be thinking, “C’mon Kat, aren’t you being a little bit dramatic? Maybe you need to lay off the coffee and dystopian television,” to which I would reply NO!
No, dear reader, I am not being dramatic; this is real life, and if your eyes aren’t opened to it now, then you are steps away from falling off the Woke cliff.
It might be too late anyway, given that our science and medical communities have bent the knee to the cult of Woke.
