The former first lady of Haiti has been indicted in the assassination of her husband, President Jovenel Moise.

Judge Walther Voltaire has indicted former First Lady Martine Moise for being “complicit” in her husband’s 2021 assassination.

The judge made his decision after receiving evidence from two defendants who claimed Martine Moise had knowledge of her husband’s assassination plot but did not warn her husband due to her desire to become president herself.

Judge Voltaire also indicted dozens of others, including former Prime Minister Claude Joseph and the ex-chief of Haiti’s National Police, Léon Charles.

Former President Donald Trump has formally asked the U.S. Supreme Court to step in and help him with his attempt to have his case against him dismissed on the grounds of presidential immunity.

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals decided last week that Trump is not exempt from prosecution in the case that special counsel Jack Smith has brought. However, the court postponed issuing the mandate until Monday to give Trump time to petition the Supreme Court to intervene.

The trial of Trump, which District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan postponed while the former president filed his appeal of the decision, will now take place even later as a result of his request to the Supreme Court to pause the mandate while he files his appeal.

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines has drawn attention to a transgender activist she claims is engaging in child abuse.

On X (Twitter) on Monday, Gaines drew attention to a biological man sharing a picture of himself breastfeeding a baby on Instagram.

Gaines then pointed to posts made by the same individual using clamps on that same part of the body.

The former college athlete said this man was using a baby as a sexual prop. She also stated that the west is sacrificing its children to appease disturbed individuals.

A so-called glitch on the Nevada Secretary of State’s website caused unmailed ballots to show up as counted in the recent Nevada primary.

The Nevada Secretary of State’s office (run by Democrat Francisco Aguilar) on Sunday learned of the ‘glitch’ after numerous Nevada voters realized their votes were counted in the recent primary even though they didn’t participate.

The SoS office “determined that the problem resulted in some counties not taking the proper steps to upload their voter registration. Every night each county uploads their voter registration to the secretary of state’s database, which executes code to create the statewide voter registration file that Nevadans see when they log into vote.nv.gov, according to the secretary of state’s office.” – The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Arkansas Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders believes that President Joe Biden and his administration are a “failure” and that voters do not support his open border policies.

“Governor, why is it so hard to deport people who don’t belong here who kick cops, drive drunk, and steal my grandma’s Social Security number?” host Jesse Watters asked Sanders during an interview on Fox News.

“Because we have a president who absolutely doesn’t care that millions and millions of people are coming across our border illegally. He has the power to shut the border down, to stop it. He can reinstate the remain in Mexico policy. He could actually build the wall. There is a lot of things he could be doing and this simply is a complete and total failure by this administration. In the state of Arkansas alone we seized enough fentanyl in the last year to kill every single person in our entire state,” Sanders began.

E. Jean Carroll‘s attorney, Shawn Crowley, indicated on Monday night that the former Elle columnist and rape obsessive might sue former President Donald Trump a third time.

Crowley made the comments during an interview with Jen Psaki on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki” after Trump said at a Michigan rally over the weekend that he didn’t know Carrol, had done nothing wrong to her, and that the lawsuits against him were “unfair.”

“What he said was absolutely a lie,” Crowley claimed. “Two unanimous federal juries have found that not only did Trump know who E. Jean was, he sexually assaulted her and lied about it repeatedly. Everything he said about her over the last five years has been a lie and has been defamatory,” Crowley asserted.

The fallout from Judge Engoron’s recent ruling against former President Donald Trump continues to ripple.

Following the controversial $350 million judgment against President Trump and his sons, Don Jr. and Eric, American truckers are threatening to halt deliveries into New York City.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that an American trucker who goes by “Chicago Ray” had this to say in a video he shared on social media, where he explained why truckers across America are planning to stop delivering to NYC.

“I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for the last hour and fifteen minutes, and I’ve talked to at least ten drivers going the other way. I’m heading down from South Wisconsin. And they’re [other truckers] gonna start refusing loads to New York City, starting on Monday for NYC. I talked to about three guys that I work with who texted the boss and told him they’re not going to New York City.”

“I don’t know how far across the country this is or how many truckers are gonna start denying loads to go to New York City, but I’ll tell you what—you f**k around and find out!”

“Okay? We’re tired of you motherf**kin’ leftists f**king around with Donald Trump,” he said.

Many look at Generation Z and wonder how things could have gone so horribly wrong, but it isn’t a mystery at all.  The truth is that the young adults of today are the product of the western world’s dying culture.  We have often been warned that the liberal elite will fundamentally transform our culture, but in reality they have already fundamentally transformed it.  They dominate education, they dominate the media, they dominate the entertainment industry, they dominate the corporate world, they dominate at all levels of government and they even dominate most of our major religious institutions.  They have imposed a culture on us that is completely foreign to the culture that was once dominant in the western world, and the consequences have been nothing short of dramatic.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange may be extradited to the US to face up to 175 years in prison after a two-day appeal hearing in London’s High Court. Assange's wife Stella fears her husband may die if extradited.

London's High Court's two-day hearing is about to seal the fate of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, an Australian citizen who may be extradited to the US to face a possible life prison sentence. International watchdogs argue the WikiLeaks founder could be subjected to serious human rights violations in the US if extradited.

"The whole case seems to hang on the United States wanting revenge," Paul Goncharoff, owner of the consulting company Goncharoff LLC, told Sputnik. "Revenge against a non-US citizen who published information about US government activities and did so from an EU-based website."

The reasons why the United States failed in Afghanistan and Iraq and is "in decline" today are its "ignorance and arrogance," the chairman of the defense committee of the Senate of Pakistan, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, told Sputnik.

"The US policy towards certain countries in Asia is sometimes based on the combination of ignorance and arrogance. Arrogance, because they are a big country, because they think of themselves as a superpower, they think they know it all. But they don't. They don't know the culture and the values of other countries. And also ignorance, because they don't understand the people of these places. This is why they failed in Afghanistan, this is why they failed in Iraq," Sayed said in an interview.

These are the same reasons why the US is "in decline" now and has been like that for some time, he added. The senator explained that he used to live in the US, received a masters degree from one of the most respected US universities in Washington — Georgetown, and worked in the US Congress as an intern. However, the country had changed a lot since then and the US he knew "was different."

The United States escalated tensions in the Red Sea on Saturday with a strike on the Houthis as the Yemeni movement continued its resistance against Israel’s destruction of Gaza.

The US conducted five strikes in total, three of them against Houthi anti-ship missiles, one against a surface drone ship, and one against an underwater drone vessel.

“CENTCOM identified the anti-ship cruise missiles, unmanned underwater vessel, and the unmanned surface vessel in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen...” read a statement from US Central Command, while claiming the Houthi presence was "an imminent threat to US Navy ships and merchant vessels in the region" and labeling the US response as “self-defense strikes.”

In the immediate vicinity of Belarus and Russia, as part of the alliance's operations in Europe, about 32,000 soldiers of the contingents of the united armed forces of NATO and the United States are stationed. There are more than 1,000 armored vehicles, about 160 artillery systems and mortars, 235 airplanes and helicopters," Lukashenko was quoted as saying by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Georgia and Serbia will be drawn into NATO just like the scenario of the situation in Ukraine, Lukashenko added.

Myanmar is interested in BRICS, including the introduction of a common BRICS currency, and is studying the bloc, Myanmar's Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Kan Zaw told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"Since May 2023, we have been recognized as a dialogue partner in the SCO [Shanghai Cooperation Organisation]. We are also studying BRICS and its development. Moreover, we are interested in BRICS and the BRICS single currency initiative," the minister said in an interview.

In June 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the BRICS Business Forum that the five major emerging economies should establish an international reserve system based on the basket of BRICS currencies. Although it may take years for the group to create such a monetary system, the final result is likely to be a balance between the competing Western dollar system and the BRICS currency basket.

Tel Aviv's brutal military campaign in the Gaza Strip, aside from claiming thousands of lives and wreaking havoc upon the region, has put a serious dent in the Israeli economy.

Israel’s GDP contracted 19.4 percent during the last quarter of 2023 amid the invasion of the Palestinian enclave, according to data released by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics.

This large decline in Israel’s economy was influenced by several factors, said Dr. Nasir Iqbal, associate professor at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics.

“The ongoing war contributed to the decline of Israel's economic activity. Secondly, the psychological impact of war also has a significant impact on decreasing consumption patterns,” he explained.

“If we look into the spending pattern and psychological well-being of the citizens of Israel, they are facing a lot of issues in terms of this psychological warfare of the economy and that led to a significant decline in economic activity,” he said.

Drugs hailed as game-changers in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, a type of dementia, carry risks that may outweigh any benefit, scientists warned UK media on Sunday.

UK regulators are expected to decide next week on whether or not to approve the drug lecanemab, which was greenlit by US regulators last year, and donanemab, which is currently awaiting approval.

However, the drugs, which manufacturers say slow cognitive decline by clearing out amyloid protein in patients’ gray matter, are also known to shrink patients’ brains, and as many as a third of those who receive them also experience side effects classified as “amyloid-related imaging abnormalities” (ARIA) - a catch-all term that includes the swelling and bleeding of the brain.

Tea, meat and peanut are some of the unassuming foods that lead to a build-up of PFAS 'forever chemicals' in the body, new research suggests.

While previous studies tested food for these toxic substances, experts have never quite been sure how much of it makes its way into our systems and stays there.

For the new paper, scientists tracked more than 700 participants for over four years, taking regular blood samples and studying exactly what they ate.

They described the results as 'really interesting'.

Food and drink normally considered relatively healthy, like green tea, pork chops and bottled water, were all linked to higher levels of PFAS.

On the other hand, fries, added sugar and tap water were not found to raise the risk, contrary to the findings of other research.

Judge Arthur Engoron, a committed Democrat, has ruled repeatedly against Trump in the three years he’s been presiding over James’ lawsuit. According to the AP he’s forced Trump to sit for a deposition, held him in contempt and fined him $110,000.

According to reports Judge Engoron has been married three times and has four children.

But Arthur Engoron is no boy scout.

Engoron was banging the secretary of opposing counsel during a previous case – a complete ethics violation.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported this in 2002.

Nathan Lewin, a defense attorney for the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada, said the court’s Jan. 23 ruling against his client in several pre-trial decisions is “suspect” because of that relationship, of which he was not informed until late last month.

Lewin is defending the rabbis in an $11 defamation million suit filed by Helen Chayie Sieger of Borough Park, who claims their decision to allow her husband to remarry without requiring him to grant her a rabbinic divorce in effect labeled her an unfit spouse.

Lewin said in court papers that the law secretary, Arthur Engoron, claims he only began dating the secretary of the opposing counsel, Christopher Sullivan, on May 10. But Lewin said Sullivan’s actions in the case may have been “influenced” by information he received from the woman, identified in the papers only as Sue.

And Lewin noted that Engoron “was drafting [later] decisions and communicating” with the judge about this case during the time he was dating Sue.

Incarcerated workers in the US produce at least $11bn in goods and services annually but receive just pennies an hour in wages for their prison jobs, according to a new report from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Nearly two-thirds of all prisoners in the US, which imprisons more of its population than any other country in the world, have jobs in state and federal prisons. That figure amounts to roughly 800,000 people, researchers estimated in the report, which is based on extensive public records requests, questionnaires and interviews with incarcerated workers.

ACLU researchers say the findings outlined in Wednesday’s report raise concerns about the systemic exploitation of prisoners, who are compelled to work sometimes difficult and dangerous jobs without basic labor protections and little or no training while making close to nothing.

Most incarcerated workers are tasked with general prison maintenance that is crucial to keep the facilities running, according to the ACLU researchers, who worked with the University of Chicago Law School’s Global Human Rights Clinic.

The FBI confidential source charged last week for allegedly providing false information about President Biden and his son Hunter Biden implicated Russian intervention, per court documents filed Tuesday.

The big picture: Alexander Smirnov, 43, admitted that "officials associated with Russian intelligence" were involved in passing a story about Hunter Biden, per the government's memorandum in support of his detention.

  • Prosecutors alleged in the filing that Smirnov told an FBI handler that the Russian Intelligence Service intercepted several cellphone calls placed at a hotel "by prominent U.S. persons the Russian government may use as 'kompromat' in the 2024 election."
  • They argued against his release, alleging that Smirnov was "actively peddling new lies that could impact U.S. elections after meeting with Russian intelligence officials in November."

Yes, but: A federal judge ruled after a detention hearing in Las Vegas that Smirnov should be released on a personal recognizance bond.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Hamas has confirmed receipt of a shipment of medicines under a deal brokered by Qatar and has begun delivering the supplies to hostages held in Gaza, Qatar's foreign ministry spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday.

Qatar and France brokered a deal with Israel and Hamas last month on the delivery of urgent medication to hostages held by the militant group in Gaza in return for humanitarian and medical aid for the most vulnerable civilians in the enclave.

"Qatar received these confirmations as the mediator in the agreement, which includes the entry of the medicines and shipment of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the most affected and damaged areas, in exchange for delivering the medicines needed by hostages in the sector," Qatar's foreign ministry spokesman, Majed Al-Ansari, said in a statement.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis suffered an embarrassing meltdown during a Thursday hearing into her relationship with one of her prosecutors.

As reported by the Conservative Archives, former Trump 2020 campaign official Michael Roman filed a complaint in January alleging that Willis and Nathan Wade —a private attorney with the Atlanta-based Wade & Campbell Firm— engaged in an improper relationship that has seen Wade profit significantly from prosecuting Roman and his co-defendant, including former President Donald Trump.

The shooter who killed two police officers and a firefighter paramedic in a Minneapolis suburb during a domestic disturbance call early Sunday has been identified as a man who was already barred from owning firearms.

Shannon Gooden, 38, opened fire on first responders in the affluent suburb of Burnsville, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said on Monday.  Gooden was in a contentious dispute with the mother of his three oldest children, authorities said, when first responders arrived at the scene.

Gooden killed Burnsville Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, both 27, and Adam Finseth, 40, a firefighter and paramedic who was assigned to the city’s SWAT team, police said. Another officer, Sgt. Adam Medlicott, was shot and wounded. Gooden himself was found dead in a room of the home with a gunshot wound to his head in what the Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed as a suicide.
