"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system that has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

"Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, and no secret is revealed." -- John F Kennedy, Speech April 27, 1961

Boeing's latest potential scandal is out of this world - literally. Its Starliner spacecraft - which carried two NASA astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) last week - is unable to undock after several faults were found on the ship. Teams have discovered five different leaks in the craft's propulsion system which would navigate the craft through space as it returns to Earth. The astronauts were set to return on June 14, but that has been delayed until June 22 while Boeing and NASA scramble to fix issues, leaving the astronauts stranded until then. Now, experts have said that NASA could be forced to launch a rescue mission that would be a highly embarrassing blow for the embattled Boeing which is dealing with spate of issues plaguing its commercial jets.

Meta on Friday said it's delaying its efforts to train the company's large language models (LLMs) using public content shared by adult users on Facebook and Instagram in the European Union following a request from the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC). The company expressed disappointment at having to put its AI plans on pause, stating it had taken into account feedback from regulators and data protection authorities in the region.

President Joe Biden could soon announce a new effort that would allow illegal aliens to obtain legal status if they are married to U.S. citizens, four sources within the administration told CBS News. Biden is hoping the move will energize left-wing and progressive voters in an election year.

Biden is expected to be announcing the amnesty plan as early as Tuesday at a White House event, two sources told the outlet on the condition of anonymity.

The proposal, known as “Parole in Place,” would also open up a pathway to permanent legal status and U.S. citizenship for beneficiaries. The plan would allow those who entered the country illegally to obtain green cards without leaving the country.

A top study has confirmed that fearmongering claims made by the United Nations (UN) to support the “climate crisis” narrative are a hoax, directly contradicted by data.

Despite claims from the UN and other unelected globalists, the study has found that alleged “climate disasters” are not increasing.

In fact, eminent Italian researchers Gianluca Alimonti and Luigi Mariani found that the environment has been significantly improving in recent years, with climate-related events decreasing.

However, the researchers found that, while “climate disasters” have been decreasing, fearmongering studies and corporate media reports linking “global warming” to weather events have increased dramatically, creating the illusion of a “crisis.”

The study observed trends in climate disaster reports between 1900 and 2022.

They found that climate events are not increasing, but are more likely to be reported.

Welfare offices and other agencies in 49 US states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship, leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.

Every state but Arizona — which recently passed a law barring the practice on state but not federal forms — gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship.

There is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of US citizenship, though it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot in a federal election.

But millions of migrants with humanitarian parole, refugee or asylum status are eligible for benefits that would bring them to the offices where voter registration takes place.

In a groundbreaking announcement made last Friday in Detroit, Michigan, Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), revealed plans to build a formidable watchdog army. This force will be tasked with safeguarding the integrity of our elections this coming November.

“Our other top priority is election integrity,” said Lara Trump. “If we don’t have free, fair, and transparent elections, nothing else matters. That is our goal at the RNC. Every single person in this country, regardless of how you vote, should want free and fair elections.”

Joined by RNC Chairman Michael Watley, she detailed the plans to mobilize an ‘election watchdog army’ that will operate across the United States in November.

“[Whatley and I started here in the state of Michigan, launching our election integrity program. What we want to do is train 100,000 people all across this country to be part of that team. Now, what does that mean? That means we want poll watchers, but not just that; we want poll workers. We have a unique opportunity right now that we have not had in 40 years as a party. For 40 years, there was a consent decree placed upon the RNC that did not allow us to train people to work as poll workers,” said Lara.

NewsGuard, which purportedly “rates” news organizations for their truthfulness, has been described in a Real Clear Wire report as “a powerful censorship tool.”

And constitutional expert Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University whose popular commentary regularly skewers the establishment, has warned against subjecting children in America’s schools to the left-leaning bias of “fact-checkers” like NewsGuard because it “raises the specter of a type of de facto state media.”

Now a report at RedState is revealing U.S. Rep. James Comer, chief of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, is beginning an investigation of the “supposed arbiter of media reliability.”

The goal? Determine the “impact of NewsGuard on protected First Amendment speech and its potential to serve as a non-transparent agent of censorship campaigns.”

Nearly four years after 51 former top intel officials smeared The Post and misled the nation about Hunter Biden’s laptop, not one has any regrets — even though the FBI and Justice Department have confirmed the computer’s authenticity and federal prosecutors even cited it as evidence in the first son’s gun case.

Indeed, the 51 “spies who lied” in a letter falsely suggesting the laptop report was “Russian disinfo” are proud of deceiving Americans, with a lawyer for some even calling their deception “patriotic.”

No: They sold out their own credibility for a mess of pottage by intentionally misleading the public, and giving pro-Biden media outlets an excuse to dismiss and censor The Post’s 2020 election-eve scoop, as well as offering Joe Biden an escape hatch on the issue in his then-upcoming debate with Donald Trump.

Again: A host of top intelligence community leaders effectively lied to the American people “for their own good”; after that, how can anyone trust any “information” the IC offers?

The media reporting on a “peace summit” where one of the primary belligerents is not invited as if it is a serious thing is next-level lunacy.

Nothing like this has ever happened before.

What do people think?

Is it just “well, the media is talking about this like it is serious, so it must be serious”?

Back in September 2017 I wrote an article for the Unz Review site entitled “America’s Jews Are Driving America’s Wars” with the subtitle “Shouldn’t they recuse themselves when dealing with the Middle East?” The article focused on the fact that most of the individuals and groups in the US that were agitating for war with Iran in particular were Jewish and most did not hide their loyalty to Israel, headed then as now by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. I argued that it was a mistake to have Jews managing America’s relationships in the Middle East in particular as some of them certainly would experience a conflict of interest that would inevitably not be beneficial to the United States. And, one might add, that in spite of that tie that binds with a foreign government, no pro-Israel group has ever been compelled to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 which would provide some transparency on finances and concerning direct contacts with the Israeli government or its Embassy in Washington. The end result of all that is to make it extremely easy to use money, which the Zionist billionaires have in abundance, to corrupt the US government process on behalf of an apartheid state that is no ally in reality and does not have values that fit well with what was once American democracy.

The mutiny has arisen because many in the West see only too clearly that the western ruling structure is an illiberal mechanical ‘control system’.

I have been writing for some time that Europe (and the U.S.) are in a period of alternate revolution and civil war. History warns us that such conflicts tend to be extended, with peak episodes which are revolutionary (as the prevailing paradigm first cracks); yet which, in reality, are but alternate modes of the same – a ‘toggling’ between revolutionary peaks and the slow ‘slog’ of intense cultural war.

We are, I believe, in such an era.

I also have suggested that a nascent counter-revolution was slowly gathering – one defiantly unwilling to recant traditionalist moral values, nor prepared to submit to an oppressive illiberal international order posing as liberal.

What I had not expected was that the ‘first shoe to drop’ would occur in Europe – that it would be France that would be the first to break the illiberal mould. (I had thought that it would break first in the U.S.)

A noted political analysis firm has projected that former President Donald Trump will eke out a victory in November against President Joe Biden.

The firm FiveThirtyEight, using its election model, which incorporates a range of factors, including a summary of polling data, projected Trump would win 52 out of 100 times in an election simulation earlier this week. On Friday, his chances had fallen to 51 out of 100, but still gave him the victory.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk noted the historic nature of FiveThirtyEight’s projection.

A proposed National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2025 would require women to register with Selective Service, according to the Senate Committee on Armed Services' executive summary.

The NDAA would amend "the Military Selective Service Act to require the registration of women for Selective Service," according to the summary, which also notes that the "Committee voted 22-3 to advance the NDAA for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 to the Senate floor."

'Almost all male US citizens and male immigrants, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service.'

GOP Rep. Chip Roy of Texas registered his staunch opposition, responding to the provision by tweeting, "You can go straight to hell. Over my dead body."

It was hard not to notice the smile. It was the smile of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the night the Knesset voted to apply the rule of continuity to a bill that would exempt the ultra-Orthodox from conscription in the army. He was a happy man.

The great majority of the public, including Likud supporters, think that anchoring the yeshiva students' exemption from the draft in law is a moral disgrace and jeopardizes national security – and that it spits in the faces of those who do serve in the army, both the living and the dead. But it doesn't bother our leader. It was a joyful night.

In his current incarnation, the man has become indifferent to all that surrounds him: to criticism, to the cries of the hostages' families, to the bereaved (whom he exploits selectively) and to the national interest. The entire rationale for the rule of continuity was to buy a little more time. And that's all Netanyahu needs. He has never been characterized by strategic thinking. He patches one leak and then moves on to another.

Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom is being trolled online after posting a selfie video at the southern border where he called for more resources. He accused Republicans of getting in the way, but some are firing back that the governor dragged his feet on the issue.

The video shows Newsom in a pair of aviator sunglasses and dress shirt standing at the border in southern California near Tijuana with the fence stretched out behind him.

'This is the San Ysidro port of entry, not to far away which is the largest in the western hemisphere,' Newsom said in the video.  'We just down here with the National Guard meeting with customs agents as well as border control, talking about our partnerships.'

Former President Donald Trump took on both Bidens during his MAGA-themed 78th birthday party in Florida Friday night.

Thousands of the ex-president's faithful gathered at the Palm Beach County Convention Center to mark the big occassion - wearing a variety of red, white and blue outfits to salute Trump's birthday coinciding with Flag Day.

The head of 'Club 47' - South Florida's large pro-Trump club - presented the presumptive GOP nominee with a six-tiered cake featuring a MAGA hat and scenes from the White House and the golf course.

The crowd sang Trump 'Happy Birthday,' while he marveled in return, 'This is the biggest birthday party I've ever had by far.'

But instead of cutting the cake, he cut into the Bidens - pointing to the now viral moment of the 81-year-old president wandering away during a parachute demonstration with G7 leaders.
