THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

"True sweeping, incisive spiritual logic pours only confusion and dismay upon head and heart of all who set themselves up for pillars of the church without practising the first principles of the doctrine of Christ--men who, professing to gather their fellows together in the name of Christ, conduct the affairs of the church on the principles of hell--men so blind and dull and slow of heart, that they will never know what outer darkness means until it closes around them--men who seek gain first, safety next, and the will of God not at all--men whose presentation or Christianity is enough to drive the world to a preferable infidelity." -- George MacDonald

CLAIMED MH17 SHOOTDOWN SATELLITE IMAGE IS A FAKE!

On November 14, 2014, the following image was posted to the web.

Click for larger (7K) original image

Reported as given to the Russian media by a "foreign" source, the image appears to show a warplane shooting down a passenger jet with the Donetsk airport identifiable on the ground. It shows exactly what people who doubt the offocial story expect to see, which is the first signal to be cautious. A medium size 3K resolution of this image is HERE.

This image is a fake, and a very good one.

FIRST PROBLEM: The Daily Mail is claiming that this image came from a "foreign" power's spy satellite. But the scale of the aircraft relative to the ground is wrong. From the altitude of a spy satellite, the aircraft should be almost identical to the same scale as the Donetsk airport, seen to the lower left of the passenger jet. For the aircraft to appear this large against the background the image would have to be taken only a few thousand feet higher than the altitude of the aircraft.

SECOND PROBLEM: Matching the clouds we see that the ground is from a Google Earth image taken on 9/17/2011.

Detail from above "spy" image.

I suspect someone tried to plant this picture to discredit first Russia and second the independent media, and alarmingly, a lot of independent media sites are falling for this, hook, line, and sinker!
